I know it’s not “technically” summer for another week or two, but as far as I’m concerned, we’ve already got the first unofficial signs of summer right here: a brand new set ofEmily Ratajkowski bikini pictures and beach selfies on Instagram. Because I don’t know about you guys, but the temperature in my pants region […]

I don’t know what kind of quarterlife crisis or whatever Miley Cyrus is going through right now, but I for one am definitely not digging this whole hipster flower child look she’s got going on these days. I miss the old Miley. You know, the one that used to hit the clubs in nothing but […]

I still can’t believe thatBella Hadid is actually being taken seriously in the modeling business, but I guess here’s definitive proof: her posing with her very own New York City billboard. So who knows, maybe there’s hope for the rest of us yet. And if I just keep pretending, I can finally land my dream […]

Yikes. I don’t know where Dakota Fanning got that giant bruise, but it’s kind of spoiling what should be an otherwise solid bikini booty shot from a hottie who doesn’t post them very often. We’re talking maybe 3-4 times a year, max. Girl doesn’t exactly look like she gets a ton of sun. Anyway, speaking […]

| Scarlett Johansson in Michael Kors at the Tony Awards: cute or dated? | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

The annual Tony Awards were last night, and as everyone predicted, Dear Evan Hansen came out the big winner in what was called an especially ?dark season? for American theater. You can read more about the Tony Awards here. We?ll just be covering some of the fashion photos from the event. Here?s Scarlett Johansson in Michael Kors. Several of you have pointed out that Melania Trump is actually influencing the latest lines, especially when we see the comeback of shoulder pads and big statement belts. Maybe that?s true. This Michael Kors look does seem like something Melania would wear. So? yeah, I don?t love it.
Olivia Wilde in Michael Kors. This is not the look for Olivia. Which is weird – she?s tall, slender and she could wear just about anything. But not this. Plus, it feels like her hair and makeup is not helping out the look at all.
Bette Midler in Michael Kors. I love the Divine Miss M, but doesn?t she look like Joy Behar with her hair like this??
I feel like Candice Swanepoel misread the room/event. This Prabal Gurung dress is pretty/sexy, but most women don?t go for sexy/see-through at the Tonys.
Alek Wek in Oscar de la Renta. BOOTS. The LBD is boring. But look at the boots!
Allison Janney, killing it in Cristina Ottaviano. Janney is FIRE.

| Chrissy Teigen in Pamella Roland at the Tony Awards: decent for her? | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Chrissy Teigen went to the Tony Awards to support her husband, John Legend, who won a Tony for best play revival for Jitney, which he co-produced. As Billboard explains, this means that Legend is just an Emmy away from an EGOT. He’s 38 (I thought he was younger honestly) and that’s an amazing accomplishment. As accomplished, admirable and measured John is (apart from “politics” although I rather admire the strong stance he takes on important issues), his wife Chrissy makes up for it. She’s usually in a beef with someone, snapchatting her drunken moments, or pulling focus somehow. She’s self aware about it though, and recently tweeted this:
I am in new york for the Tony's because I am a famous broadway actress and it makes sense

| Anna Kendrick in Miu Miu at the Tony Awards: tragic or adorable? | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are more photos from Sunday night?s Tony Awards. You can see the list of 2017 Tony Award winners here. Increasingly, as the years go by, the Tonys become more of a ?glitzy? event, more of a regular awards show. Part of that is because there are more ?movie stars? wanting to branch out into theater (or go back to their theater roots). Part of it is financial too – it costs a lot of money to launch a Broadway show these days, thus, there?s more money spent on the Tonys. Anyway, Anna Kendrick is one of those movie stars who started in theater (she?s actually a Tony Award winner) and she?s pretty much the textbook definition of ?musical theater geek.? Anna wore this Miu Miu gown which? I mean, it?s on-brand for Anna, but I dislike it. I dislike everything, especially that little red bow – God, I hate that bow – and Anna?s sickly Pink eye makeup. This is not the look.
I enjoy the fact that Bee Shaffer is getting more involved with her mom?s world. She?s a beautiful young woman, and she looks amazing in high-end design. Bee wore a Alexander McQueen gown from the current season, while her mom Anna Wintour wore Maison Margiela (John Galliano?s label).
Michelle Wilson in Hakaan. This is very pretty, albeit a very ?standard? look for the Tony Awards. Versions of this dress in black were probably on every producer?s wife.
I don?t have an ID on Uma Thurman?s ensemble, but it?s lovely and simple and chic.
I love this photo of Cynthia Erivo (in CG) because she looks like she doesn?t want to be there, at all. This is how we should all walk the red carpet: looking great, but also looking like we?re about to kill somebody.
Tina Fey in Sally LaPointe. Simple, pretty.

| Jennifer Lawrence's private plane forced to make an emergency landing | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Jennifer Lawrence was in the passenger seat of a scary situation on Saturday. The 26-year-old actress, who was in Louisville, Kentucky visiting with family, experienced a harrowing flight on a private plane.
According to E! News, during the flight, which was headed for New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport, one of the plane’s engines failed at 31,000 feet. The pilots were forced to perform an emergency landing and arrived safely in Buffalo, New York. And, if being forced to make an emergency landing wasn’t scary enough, the jet’s second engine failed during the landing. Thankfully, no one was injured.
A spokeswoman for the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) told the Buffalo News that the jet, a Beechcraft 400 Beechjet, was diverted to the airport Saturday afternoon. She went on to say that two passengers and crew members were on board the plane, but did not say that Lawrence was among them. The FAA is currently investigating the cause of the engine failure.
What is it with celebrities and private planes? Ever since “the day the music died”, when Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper died in a plane crash, there have been so many other entertainers who lost their lives in small plane crashes. I mean, Jim Croce, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Otis Redding, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Aaliyah…the list goes on. Commercial air travel sucks, but if I were famous, I’d definitely opt for a big plane. Glad everyone’s okay.

| Selena Gomez explains going public with her romance with The Weeknd | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

After keeping their union on the DL for a while, coming out in a big way at the Met Gala, Selena Gomez finally revealed why she took the her relationship with The Weeknd public. On Friday’s On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Selena talked about her music and, of course her new romance with the singer she’s “head over heels” in love with.
The singer confessed to Ryan that, “It’s really hard when I would want to spend so much time hiding things. It’s too much pressure, and I think everyone gets over everything eventually.” She added, “I just want to be happy. If that’s me just being myself, then I don’t really care.”
She went on to say that she was tired of hiding because she’s more comfortable not only with her career direction, but comfortable in her own skin, stating, “Because I’ve been doing this for so long, I don’t feel like there’s anything that I would want to…not necessarily hide, but I’m genuinely myself.”
Selena also talked about the mental health break she took last fall, spending some time at a treatment facility in Tennessee to deal with anxiety, panic attacks and depression. She explained her break by admitting that, “I needed a second to breathe. When I did that, I came back and I had it for a while, and I think it’s safe to say I feel like I have a whole album put together at this point. I wanted to make sure my life was balanced and happy and healthy first.”
And, for those who thought her song “Bad Liar” was about her new squeeze, Selena seemingly shot down that theory during the interview, telling Ryan, “The song actually was over a year ago. I was very much in a different place and I think it was more just telling a story…it was just a different place in my life then.” She also did tell fans that she was planning to move towards a more “moody” direction musically. It seems like the girl’s been through a lot in her 24 years. I’m sure she can do moody, but it would be nice for her to be happy for a while. Like him or not, I kind of hope her relationship with The Weeknd can be the source of some happiness for her.
Side note: I’m sad that she didn’t commit to that bob haircut. I really liked it.
