At the beginning of the summer, I would have said (and did say) that Amber Heard and Elon Musk were probably going to end up getting married. They seemed on track for that, becoming Instagram-official, then Amber spending time with his kids, then all of the stories about how Elon was crazy-enchanted with her, etc. Then in August, he seemingly dumped her. For several weeks, there was a stupid amount of back-and-forth, with Elon and Amber eventually claiming that the split was somewhat mutual and mostly based on location – Amber has been in Australia for months, working on Aquaman. I last paid attention to the story when Amber and Elon were seen out together, seemingly back together or just acknowledging their friends-with-benefits status. I actually thought there was a good chance Amber & Elon would be back together for-real soon enough. Instead, this happened:

I don?t have high hopes for Flatliners. That doesn?t really break my heart as I thought the first one was just okay. Like the first film, though, I like the cast enough that I will probably see it at some point, most likely on my couch while eating pizza. The film?s lead, Ellen Page, is doing press so I?m grateful for that because I quite like Ellen. When she appeared on Conan O?Brien the other night, Conan brought up the fact that Ellen has many tattoos, which I did not know. When he asked how she decided what to get, Ellen said most of her tattoos were homemade and designed by her friends. Obviously ?homemade? and ?tattoo? are not words you hear together very often so Conan asked Ellen to describe what they were. Ellen went one better and showed a couple. It turns out that on her left bicep, she sports a tattoo that reads ?WIIG? and that is, in fact, for her friend and Whip It co-star, Kristen Wiig.
Huh. I?m kind of reevaluating my friends’ dedication to me since I am fairly certain none of them have inked any part of me on any part of them. Maybe I should start randomly autographing their forearms and suggest, ?hey, that would make a great tattoo.?
I suspect there?s something more to the story that Ellen wants to keep private. Maybe Kristen gave her advice or counsel when Ellen really needed it and Ellen inked her name as a homage. If that?s the case, that?s really sweet. Most of us have these talismans in some form, don?t we? I have a few clothing items that once belonged to folks close to me that I wear like armor. I mean, I asked for it, I wasn?t sneaking around closets swiping stuff.
If I am being honest, there is something fascinating to me about Kristen?s last name. I think it?s the double ?I? and the fact that it?s only four letters. Like, half her name is ?I?s. Visually, it?s engaging to me and I linger on it whenever I read it. So, when Ellen joked, “I don?t know her at all, it just seemed like a nice gesture because I?m a big fan,? I believed her. (I forgot all about Whip It) It?s cool. I like it but it does also kind of look like Ellen got bored in math class and started doodling on her arm. I wonder if that?s the intent?
At least it?s a tiny version of her last name and not a portrait of Kristen?s face. I mean, that?s Drake?s MO, right?

Here are some photos of Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick at the fall fashion gala for the New York City Ballet (at Lincoln Center). SJP wore her new favorite label, Monse, and while I?m 100% behind the idea of the dress, the execution was? not great? Like, it has so much going for it: great color, great design, sparkly, interesting in motion and in photos. But the construction in the midsection is so bad that it?s throwing everything off. When you make a tiny, fit woman like SJP look bulky, that?s pretty bad.
Anyway, did you know that they really were going ahead with making Sex and the City 3? It had been long-rumored that almost everyone from the original series and movies wanted to come back for one more (terrible) movie, and apparently they had the script and everything. And now it?s not happening:
Sarah Jessica Parker has some sad news for Sex and the City fans. Parker, who played sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw in the iconic series, squashed rumors that a third movie was in the works.
?It?s over,? the 52-year-old told Extra on Thursday. ?We?re not doing it.?
Rumors that Carrie, Samantha (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) were reuniting for a new film have long swirled ? and the cast had teased that they would be open to doing another film. However, this time it seems that the door is closed on the possibility of a third installment.
?I?m disappointed. We had this beautiful, funny, heartbreaking, joyful, very relatable script and story,? Parker continued. ?It?s not just disappointing that we don?t get to tell the story and have that experience, but more so for that audience that has been so vocal in wanting another movie.?

This news actually made my day! I know SJP is sad about it, but seriously? we did not need a third SATC movie, for the love of God. The first two were deplorable and they came close to ruining the original TV series for me. As for why SATC 3 is no longer happening? the Daily Mail says it?s because Kim Cattrall made too many demands – go here to read the DM piece, which is not complimentary at all to Cattrall. I mean, I get it – if all of the women had been on board, it would have been a great payday for them. But I also have to give Cattrall a slow-clap because maybe she sort of realized that they didn?t need to beat the dead horse (so to speak).

As someone who worried about my Florida family during Hurricane Irma, I can totally relate to Jennifer Lopez’s plight. The 48-year-old actress, whose family hails from Puerto Rico, posted a video to Instagram last Friday, expressing her concern for members of her family whom she hadn?t heard from, as well as making an appeal for donations to the charity organized by Puerto Rico?s First Lady, Beatriz Rossello, United for Puerto Rico (Unidos Por Puerto Rico). On Sunday, during a press conference with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, she announced that she was donating $1 million to hurricane relief efforts.
Fortunately, Jennifer?s relatives – Tomas and Adela Rios (the parents of her cousin/assistant Tiana) were located. Jennifer posted a video Wednesday on social media of the couple, who appear to be fine, with the caption ?After a long 6 days we found the last of the family! Now the rebuilding begins!!? My Spanish isn?t what it used to be, but PEOPLE translated their comments for me. About his famous niece, Tomas recalled, ?I?ll never forget how good she was with us, especially my brother.? He added, ?And I remember her since she was a little girl with a lot of love and affection.? Adela shared, ?I?ve always loved her, although I haven?t always had the opportunity to show her because we?re so far away, but I?ve always loved her and remember her with much affection.?

It?s totally anticlimactic now, but in a new promo for Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim Kardashian finally confirms that she and Kanye are expecting again, this time via surrogacy. She actually doesn?t confirm the surrogacy part of it in the promo, but we?ve known about the surrogacy for months now, even though Kim has tried to be ?coy? (fake-coy) about it. Granted, it?s none of our business, but Kris Jenner is the one leaking sh-t to People and Us Weekly, and obviously they wanted us to know about the surrogacy months ago. Here?s the promo:
Meh. What else? There?s a ridiculous amount of Kim K news for some reason this week, but all of it has been overshadowed by Kylie Jenner?s pregnancy news and Khloe?s pregnancy news. Kim made the choice not to go to Paris Fashion Week this year, on what would have been the one-year anniversary of her assault and robbery in the middle of PFW 20016. Kim recently talked about her struggle with anxiety post-robbery in an interview with T Singapore, saying: “I definitely get a lot more anxiety now, just with people knowing your every move.? Apparently, the mastermind of Kim?s robbery (who is awaiting a trial in France) also wrote Kim a letter of apology – go here to read TMZ?s coverage.
Kim also covers the latest issue of Vogue Mexico, and she used her cover to encourage people to donate to Project Paz:
