Here are some photos from the American Museum Of Natural History Gala 2018, which was very heavily attended by current Saturday Night Live people and SNL alums. Going from memory, that?s always the case I wonder if SNL has some kind of deal with the museum or something? Anyway, the biggest name at the event was a ?girlfriend of? an SNL cast member: Colin Jost brought his girlfriend Scarlett Johansson to the event. They?ve been each other?s dates for a lot of events over the past year, year and a half. I don?t hate it, because they?re doing it equally he supports her at her work events, and she supports him at his work events. I guess they?re going strong? I hope she doesn?t marry him, and I?ll be interested in seeing her next boyfriend. She tends to follow up a ?normal boyfriend? with some guy who is an utter trainwreck.
As for her look? I mean, I think this is the best ScarJo has looked in a really long time? Her hair is a great length, the color suits her and she seems to have gained some weight back (she looks healthy). Her dress is J. Mendel and it?s super-flattering and pretty.

Britney Spears? first Las Vegas residency was a wild success, in that the residency was extremely lucrative and Britney seemed to enjoy being in one place for weeks/months at a time. Britney had stability and she was making tons of money. The money issue led to Britney and Jamie Spears having to pay Kevin Federline even more in child support, but still, that was just a dent in Britney?s earnings. Britney?s first residency ended in December 2017, and I think Jamie Spears was like ?well, that worked out great, we should do another one.? There were negotiations for months, and Britney recently announced a new ?concert series? at the MGM in Vegas. The problem? Maybe people are a little bit tired of Britney? The ticket sales are not great, apparently.
Oops. She shouldn?t have done it again. A week after tickets went on sale for Britney Spears? ?Domination? concert series at the Park MGM in Las Vegas ? fresh on the heels of a yearslong Vegas stint that ended last December ? her first month of shows remains more than half unsold, sources told The Post. By comparison, a 27-show stint for Lady Gaga that begins Dec. 28 at the same venue nearly sold out in the first week tickets were available. An Aerosmith residency that starts April 6 was 85 percent sold out in a week, according to sources.
It was only last New Year?s Eve that the ?Toxic? singer wrapped up her initial Las Vegas residency ? a four-year, 248-show run at Planet Hollywood entitled ?Piece of Me? ? which with a $138 million gross has her in fourth place on Las Vegas? residency register.
Spears is launching the ?Domination? series on Feb. 13 despite the fact that ?Piece of Me? stopped selling out after its first two years in Las Vegas, an insider said. The series was announced on Oct. 18 ? less than a month after it was reported that 36-year-old Spears will have to pay thousands of dollars more a month in child support to ex Kevin Federline.

If you were in Las Vegas for a week, and you could only afford to see one MGM show, would you choose Aerosmith, Gaga or Britney? I?m honestly not sure who I would pick. I think the Aerosmith show would end up being a good time, and you would know what you are getting. Gaga?s show would be a spectacle, but I would actually put that last on the list. Britney?s show? feels like the kind of thing people will get tickets for at the last minute, when they realize she?s performing that very day. What I?m saying is that Britney?s the last-minute, budget choice, maybe? Her concert is not the one you build your Vegas trip around.

I know whenever I stan for someone that people will just tell me how awful they are. Sometimes I console myself that arguments and complaints in the comments means more pageviews and its all good. Other times I keep in perspective by remembering that I write about celebrities for a living from home. However I feel protective of Ariana Grande for some reason. I think thats because shes a legitimate PTSD survivor, she changed from the horrific Manchester bombing, she was engaged to a doofus and she self corrected! How often do celebrities do that? Plus shes letting her fans see her vulnerability, her mistakes and the way shes coming back from all that. Shes a great example to young women and again I will be mildly hurt when people call her haughty and say shes self absorbed. What is wrong with me that I even care? She probably is all those things.
Ariana just made the predictable move of cutting her way too long ponytail, which she admitted was tight and painful. Its likely that she only took a small amount off her natural hair, since her ponytail must have been mostly extensions. Still this is super cute, she was using her hair as a security blanket, that was part of her look and she shed that. Its not like she is sporting a pixie now or went for a bright color though. This is relatable, but I wish she would have posted a regular selfie instead of an face-filtered one. I dont get that at all.

My alarm is set for 5:00 am every day and I often wake up at 4:30 and am legitimately happy about it. I cant remember the last time I hit snooze. Kaiser and Hecate are also morning people, which is why we work earlier and are off by the early afternoon on weekdays. There?s SCIENCE that morning people live longer (although like all other studies hyped by the media its probably bogus in key ways. In fact I found another article, likely written by a night owl, with supposed evidence that theyre smarter but that morning people are happier). That leads us to this interview with Kelly Clarkson saying that shes a night person. I just cant relate to those people. Im sure night people feel the same about us larks. Were crazy but we get sh-t done. Heres what she told People:
As for her favorite hobby, Clarkson says it?s quilting ? in fact, she made all the coaches blankets earlier this year. ?I love putting on vinyl and having wine and quilting,? she says. ?It?s fun. I?m not great at it, but I like it.?
When asked whether she?s an early bird or a night owl, Clarkson says she?s ?not a morning person? even with four children ? she has daughter River Rose, 4, and son Remington Alexander, 2, with husband Brandon Blackstock and is a stepmom to her husband?s daughter Savannah, 17, and son Seth, 13, from a previous marriage.
?I love the night,? she says. ?I am a vampire.?

My boyfriend is more of a night person than me although weve been able to compromise on that somewhat. We only have about an hour and a half difference, which isnt bad. There are people who take it to the extreme though, like Kelly and like my brother, who incidentally is a musician too. Maybe whether were owls or larks is heavily influenced by our professions, or perhaps we choose professions that align with our sleeping patterns. Creative types and people who work second shift and later jobs, like my cousin and his new wife, who work in the restaurant industry, need to stay up later. My cousins wedding rehearsal dinner ran so late I almost fell asleep at the table.
Sidenote: remember the story I covered earlier this week, about Vanessa Hudgens raving about exercise, where I said Exercise is my thing but you couldn?t pay me to knit or do crafts? Kelly Clarkson just said she loved quilting and shes mentioned many times that she hates exercise! Im sure there are people who love both but this is funny to me.
