On March 5th she revealed her bleached blonde mane at Paris Fashion Week, and now Kim Kardashian has returned to her roots- literally.
Earlier today (March 26) the ?Keeping Up with the Kardashians" babe posted a photo via Twitter and she looked gorgeous with newly-dyed brunette locks as she plugged Kardashian Glow tanning lotion.
And immediately after Kim shared the snapshot, fans began singing the praises of her newly-darkened ?do with tweets like, ?Love the dark hair! So glad it's back!? and, ?You look stunning Kim.?

She always has the craziest stories, and Chelsea Handler told Esquire magazine that more than a decade ago she almost fell victim to accused sex offender Bill Cosby.
The 40-year-old comedienne explained, "Oh, I was in Atlantic City playing, doing standup, and he was doing standup in Atlantic City in the same hotel, and at like three o'clock in the afternoon, someone from the hotel came down and said, 'Oh, you know, Mr. Cosby would really like to meet you up in his hotel suite.' And I thought, 'That's really weird.' This was like 10 years ago.?
She continued, "And I said, 'That's really weird. I don't want to go alone.' I go, 'I don't know him.' So the three guys I was with --thank God these guys were with me. One was filming and one was like a producer; we were filming something --I brought them up with me to his room and thank God I did, because now I know what would've happened if I went up there alone.? Handler?s friend recently texted her to ask, ?'Do you remember that night we went up to, or that afternoon we went up to Bill Cosby's and you were so freaked out you made us come with you?' And I said, 'Yeah,' and he said, 'Hello! You could've been one of his victims if we weren't there.' And I went, 'Oh my gosh ...' Yeah, so yeah, he's guilty."

Can you believe that national treasure Dolly Parton is 69 years old? She has that ageless look that comes with lots of makeup, tons of fake hair, and the cumulative effect of plastic surgery. Dolly will tell you about it too. She’ll also tell you that she’s happiest working and that she doesn’t plan to stop until she’s physically unable to. In a new interview with People Magazine, Dolly talks about her latest business endeavors, her plans for the future, and how she wants people to remember her. She’s as funny and self deprecating as ever. This is a brief piece in People but I really wanted to cover it.
On Dollywood
When we first opened [in 1985], I was so scared. I was just thinking ?Oh, please. Let the people come.?
On her career
I don?t intend to ever retire unless I get sick or my husband gets sick. I want to work until I fall over dead!
On the TV movies she?s developing for NBC
[They?re based on] stories from my life and songs that I?ve written.
She wants her own cosmetics line
I?m in my own class, but it?s mostly low. I have my makeup on every day. It?s how I feel comfortable.
On what she wants people to celebrate about her
There?s a brain under the wig and a heart beneath the boobs. I may look artificial, but inside I?m totally real.

People notes that Dolly is opening a new resort this summer in Dollywood, called DreamMore. It looks pretty incredible and like it’s specially tailored for kids and families. I didn’t realize what a big deal Dollywood is, but the amusement park has been around for 30 years and is thriving. There’s also a sister waterpark, Dollywood’s Splash Country.
As for Dolly herself, I’m surprised she doesn’t have a makeup line already. She’s shown that she can pretty much do whatever she sets her mind to. She’s an incredible lady and we know that she’s got a big heart too. Have you heard about her Imagination Library? Every child under five in her home county, Sevier county, Tennessee, is eligible to receive a free book a month up to age five. They also serve 1600 other communities in the US, Canada, Australia and The UK.

In preparation for Game of Thrones taking over my life starting in April, I?ve been watching DVDs of the previous GoT seasons. I?ve even been listening to the DVD commentary. On one episode, I listened to Emilia cheerfully gush about every single actress on the show. There is no question in my mind that Emilia loves playing the Mother of Dragons/Dany and that she loves being part of such a dynamic show featuring so many strong performances from so many actresses. She came across really well, and she seems very genuine in her girl-power-rah-rah-ness.
Anyway, Emilia covers the new issue of The Hollywood Reporter. It?s a lovely shoot, and I always enjoy seeing her with her naturally dark hair (she wears a wig on GoT). Emilia talks to THR about her role as Sarah Connor in Terminator: Genisys, why she didn?t want to do Fifty Shades of Grey (whoa, she would have been perfect for that) and her stardom as the Mother of Dragons. Oh, and here?s something I didn?t know: she?s currently dating Jai Courtney. He?s cute! He was in Unbroken. He seems a bit bro-y, but I bet they work well together.
Emilia on the success of GoT: “Never in a million years did I think Game of Thrones was going to take off like it did. It’s taken me five years to catch up with it. I’m still not sure I’m there.”
She was offered the lead in Fifty Shades of Grey: “No regrets? I’d done nudity before and was concerned with being labeled for doing it again.?
How no one recognizes her without her GoT-wig: “I get to play other roles without the comparison of being Daenerys, which I think is so lucky.?
She hasn?t been doing much nudity on GoT these days: “There are other women who remove items of clothing on our show, so they’ve kind of got my nipple count down now.?

So, Emilia says that she was outright offered the role of Anastasia Steele? I can see why they wanted her ? she really would have been great for the part. She?s appropriately young-looking, she?s beautiful, and she?s got a quiet sexiness. I wonder if this means that Dakota Johnson was Sam Taylor Johnson?s second choice?
Oh, and there are some interesting details about the money for GoT too, if you?re interested (I?m always interested in hearing about the money). Some sources tell THR that Emilia will be getting about $7 million a season by the seventh season, but Emilia denies that number in the interview, saying it?s ?not even close.? But she doesn?t deny the other rumor, which is that she, Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, Lena Headey and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau banded together to collectively renegotiate their contracts and a pay raise. That?s pretty cool, if true (I bet it?s true).

Julia Louis-Dreyfus covers the spring issue of New Beauty magazine to promote the fourth season of Veep, which starts in April. I’m struggling to realize that she’s 54 years old (just like Antonio Banderas). Julia looks fresh, but she doesn’t look like she’s been “refreshed.” If she’s using Botox, her doctor knows how to use it sparingly. There’s probably a sweet combination of good genes and healthy habits at work too. Julia looks fantastic. In this interview, she discusses how to cope with her 17-hour workdays during filming, which make staying on track difficult:
On makeup: “As I?ve gotten older, I realize that less really is more–especially when it comes to makeup. I?ve found that a huge mistake you can easily make that ages you instantly is putting on too heavy foundation. All it does is define the lines you have. One thing I absolutely hate doing is taking my makeup off. I?m not someone who can fall asleep with my makeup on, that?s disgusting to me, so I have to take it off. But I really hate it!”
On aging before an audience: “You’ve seen me age! I’ve been in showbiz for so long. From the first time people saw me on Saturday Night Live until now … it’s no secret that I’ve gotten older. I’ve gotten older in front of you and that is odd – it is still so strange to me that everyone has seen me age on a public stage. It’s totally changing and difficult.”
Making healthy choices: “It can get really hard on-set and the biggest challenge is getting enough sleep. And, when I don’t have enough sleep, my metabolism goes crazy and my decision-making when it comes to good food choices is not the best–it?s very easy for me to go off the wagon as the hours of the day get longer. I am lucky that we have a really great craft services that does give us healthy choices and high-protein options, which helps me not make the bad food mistakes. I try to have some healthy choices on hand. I like Kind Bars and I recently found Santa Barbara Bars. I also always have almonds with me.”
On fitness: “Besides hiking, I like spin classes and I like doing cardio. But I have to admit, I am not so great on a bike. But I do try to do cardio–or anything aerobic–one day a week if I can because I think it?s so important and anyone feels better after they do it. I?m admittedly a lot better in smaller classes and groups though; when there are gobs of people, I start to get self-conscious.”

Julia gives some good tips here, and I think she’s correct about how a little foundation goes a long way. There are also some types of foundation that don’t settle into fine lines and wrinkles as much. Not that I would know, seeing as makeup is not my specialty. Lip stains and mascara are my jam.
Her recommendation about Kind bars is a good one. They’re a little pricey but can be found on sale (usually in bulk form). All of their sea-salt flavors are so good. Do you buy Julia’s claim to only do cardio once per week? Maybe she’s talking about structured cardio, and she hikes a lot too. Whatever Julia’s doing, it’s working for her.

I?m splitting up the photos from last night?s LA premiere of Mad Men, which they called the Black & Red Ball. Jon Hamm had some extra stuff, so I covered it in another post. This post is just for the other cast members! Unfortunately, my girl Elisabeth Moss wasn?t there. But Christina Hendricks got a lot of attention last night for her over-the-top Zac Posen ball gown. The skirt was massive? and then it wasn?t. She walked the carpet with the massive ball-gown skirt and then she detached part of it and the gown just became a sleek look. I like the gown more with the skirt detached ? it?s a cleaner, simpler look. It?s more flattering too.
January Jones seemed almost low-key in this Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2015. I like the idea of this more than I like the execution ? the midsection isn?t very flattering, right? And let?s be real: January has an amazing figure. You really have to try to make her figure look bad.
Kiernan Shipka is adorable. She?s growing up to be such a lovely young lady.
John Slattery is everything!
And finally, here?s Vincent Kartheiser, looking better than he has in years!! It helps that he?s months past shaving back his hairline to play Pete Campbell. The beard helps too. But he just looks happy all-over. I think his marriage to Alexis Bledel is really working out.

Game of Thrones Season 5 is 17 days away. Can you feel it? I?m nervous as a cat! Who will die? Are the dragons going to fly free? Will Tyrion meet Dany? Will Ayra survive and thrive? And through it all, Cersei remains as bitchy as ever. It?s going to be interesting to see how she functions without her (spoiler) father. But one thing is for sure: everybody seems to love Lena Headey. She seems like a lot of fun, and she seems to befriend all of the new cast members. Lena is not the queen of bitchery like Cersei, it seems, although I have to admit that I don?t really know that much about Lena in real life. So I was happy to read her cover profile for More Magazine. Some highlights:
Her divorce from ex-husband Peter Loughran: “It?s tough. There?s a lot of hurt and sadness and disappointment. Grief. Massive grief. It?s a mourning process, and yet nobody?s died.”
Her battle with depression: “I haven?t had a spell in a long time. I think some people?s brains are just wired that way if you?re a thinker. People who never get anxious always amaze me. The world could be breaking up and they?re saying, ‘Everything?s fine!’ Getting older and having kids, you learn how to become less serious about it all.”
Her current mystery baby-daddy: “I like to keep my personal life private.?
She loves tattoos: “I always want more. It’s a terrible thing. I’ll be outside a tattoo shop and hear the needle and think, ‘I could just get a little one that nobody would see …’ ”
Peter Dinklage on Lena: “A lesser actress would play a wicked woman. But Lena approaches it as a mother lion?maybe because she?s a mother herself. Cersei will do anything to protect her own.”
Her future: “Nothing is concrete. Right now I?m having a very great moment, but it?s a moment, and I always think, okay, worst-case scenario: Could I survive in my car? Would this be okay? My friends call it disaster thinking. I like to think of it as realism.”

I like that Dinklage in quoted in the article ? it feels like he doesn?t really do that much press around GoT (he receives a lot of press though), so it?s nice he thinks so highly of Lena. I also didn?t know she battles depression. I sort of agree with this statement, although I think her wording is odd: ?I think some people?s brains are just wired that way if you?re a thinker.? Depression and manic-depression is in the wiring, I feel, and I believe the ?if you?re a thinker? is a reference to the idea that with that kind of wiring, it feels like your brain just won?t shut down. But Lena sort of makes it sound like depression is
