He got his start on the SNL state and now Eddie Murphy will make a special appearance during the show?s 40th Anniversary special on February 15th.
The ?Nutty Professor? star told News One Now, "It just never worked out where the timing was right for me to do it. They're having a 40th anniversary ... I'm going to that. And that will be the first time I've been back since I left."
Indeed, Mr. Murphy hasn?t graced the SNL stage in over thirty years. Eddie joined the cast back in 1981 when he was 19 years old, making him the second-youngest performer in the history of the sketch comedy show.

Every year the Academy of Country Music Awards honors the biggest and brightest stars in the business, and for 2015 there are plenty of worthy contenders.
This morning (January 30) the ACM unveiled the list of nominees, with Miranda Lambert landing a total of eight chances for glory.
Along with Lambert, Jason Aldean, Garth Brooks, Florida Georgia Line and Luke Bryan will all compete for the coveted Entertainer of the Year title.
Dierks Bentley will do battle in seven categories including Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year.
The 2015 Academy of Country Music Awards is slated to go live from AT&T Stadium in Texas on April 19th. And the nominees are?

Here are some photos of LeAnn Rimes out and about in LA yesterday. Her t-shirt reads, ?Every Blondie Needs a Brownie By Her Side.? I thought it was racist (why is she calling me a ?brownie??!) until I looked it up and figured out that she?s just talking about hair color. She?s a ?blondie? and she wants a brunette on her side. Does she have any brunette friends? I haven?t really paid attention. Aren?t most of her friends Brandi look-alikes? Maybe she?s talking about Eddie, who does have dark hair.
Anyway, LeAnn has been suspiciously quiet lately, hasn?t she? Her Twitter is relatively rant-free and her Instagram is full of inspirational messages. I think she?s dialed everything down in the wake of her reality show cancelation. But don?t worry, you guys. She?ll be back to her normal self soon enough. Just wait until she has another album or something to shill.
And in the meantime, chica needs some money. Yesterday, I posted a link to these X17 photos of LeAnn walking around in a bulky, unflattering sweater dress. X17 claimed that LeAnn looked pregnant in the sweater, but as it turns out, that wasn?t the point of the outing. LeAnn got paid to wear that sweater! H&M sent out publicity emails identifying the sweaterdress as a $69.95 one from their collection. That means LeAnn probably/maybe got paid to wear the sweater and have a friendly paparazzo snap her photo in it. Girl, are you poor?

She?s always been a witty woman and Katy Perry had reporters eating out of the palm of her hand during the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show press conference on Thursday night (January 29) in Phoenix.
The ?Firework? songstress referenced the New England Patriots? ?Deflategate? scandal in her opening remarks- ?I don?t think I?m so much of an expert on the game of football, but I think I can assure everyone here that nothing in my performance will be deflated.?
Perry went on to announce her pick for Super Bowl champ- ?I love the Seahawks because of [quarterback Russell Wilson], and I think I?m probably going to go for them.? And of course, Katy?s adorable dog Butters made an appearance!

God, I still can?t believe Rosamund Pike wore this fugly Dior mullet dress to the SAGs. I?m so disappointed in you, Rosamund!!
Anyway, I have what is easier the most random story of the week: Rosamund Pike knows Chelsea Clinton. They were friends back in the day. They met at Oxford, according to Star Magazine. I?m trying to figure out if they really could have met back then ? Rosamund studied (or ?read? in the British system) English literature and she graduated in 2001. Chelsea began her graduate work at Oxford the same year. I really don?t see how they could have met? However, I also found this old Rosamund Pike interview where there?s a mention that she and Chelsea were friends at Oxford, although Rosamund doesn?t confirm it. There?s also a mention of their friendship in this old Telegraph article, which claims Rosamund and Chelsea became friends at an Oxford party. Who knows? Well, for argument?s sake, let?s say they met (maybe) and they were friends (eh). Star says they had a falling out over politics!
Rosmaund Pike and Chelsea Clinton were once BFFs ? until politics got in the way. Chelsea and Rosamund met when they were both studying at Oxford University and quickly bonded over their many common interests, including the German language, in which they?re both fluent.
?They became really close and hung out a lot,? says a source. ?They?d sometimes speak to each other in German.?
The friendship lasted right up until the 2008 election, when Chelsea?s mom, Hillary Clinton, was campaigning against Barack Obama.
?They had a talk one night about politics, and Rosamund made it clear that she preferred Obama?s political beliefs over Hillary?s,? the source says. ?Chelsea rally took it to heart.? After that, their friendship was gone, girl.

Most Europeans wanted Obama to be president in 2008. It was the fashionable thing back then. Besides, it?s not like Rosamund was voting in the primaries! But it just goes to show you ? Chelsea might be more like her parents than we will ever know. Once a Clinton cuts you off, there will be no forgiveness.
By the way, Hillary is taking her sweet time announcing her next presidential run, isn?t she? I suspect she will announce once those pesky Bubba & Jeffrey Epstein headlines die down. Bubba?s going to ruin her chances once again.
