I never thought I’d hear the words “diva” and “Emma Watson” in the same sentence. But new reports from Wales - where the next two installments of the Harry Potter series are being shot back-to-back - tell another story. Production staffers on the movie say that Emma has always been the “most testy,” but that it has gotten even worse for this movie and she’s been “more ofa pain than usual.” The “diva” title has been given to her because she shows up late, and is always complaining.
Of all the “Harry Potter” stars, Emma Watson always has been the most “testy,” according to a production staffer who has worked on most of the films based on J.K. Rowling’s super-popular novels about the famous boy wizard.
But word coming from Wales — where “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1? is being shot (back-to-back with “Part 2?) — has the young actress being “more of a pain than usual.”
Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and the rest of the cast “are a dream to work with,” said the source Wednesday, “But Emma is even more moody than usual. … She’s always complaining, showing up late and has upset both cast and crew members with her rudeness. … She’s really become a big diva. … Everyone’s sick of it.”

Emma has never struck me in the least as a diva, but maybe she’s just good at covering it up for the press. She’s always seemed like a sweet, intelligent girl to me. She’s said in the past that she has problems being sexy, and she’s nervous about kissing Rupert Grint (who plays Ron) in the new movie. She’s also looking forward to going to college in the fall.
On the other hand, this could just be a total crock. I hope so - I want to think that there is at least one young actress out there that isn’t an entitled diva.

Oh, Janice. You crazy attention-loving ex-supermodel. Her reality show on Oxygen, The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency (what, you thought she would have a show without her name in the title?) is starting up a new season soon, so she needed to get her name out in the press again. She’s guest-judging on Groomer Has It (I’m serious - I saw the ads for the episode last night), but that wasn’t enough, so she decided to go crazy on the papparazzi last night outside Nobu sushi.
Janice first unappropriately [sic] pulled up her skirt while posing for photographers. Next Janice ripped to shreds a photo that a fan asked her to autograph. During this time a videographer asked Janice a question to which Janice became upset and chased the videographer down the street, striking him with her white scarf. Security at the restaurant tried to hold back Janice from charging at the man. Finally, while leaving in her vehicle, Janice flipped the middle finger to shocked fans.

Janice has never been the worlds’ classiest broad, but it’s fun to watch her desperation grow as her celebrity fades. Just a week ago, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt made a big to-do (in front of the paps, of course) about getting her number outside a gas station. We’re talking high-class here.
As for her strange behavior outside of Nobu, Janice is an admitted alcoholic and it’s not unreasonable to think that she may have had a little too much to drink. Or maybe it was simply a desperate attempt at attention.

Paris Hilton sure knows how to ingratiate herself to her new neighbors. Boyfriend Doug Reinhardt recently moved into a new place on the same street as Paris? little sister Nicky. Paris apparently moved in with him, at least according to TMZ. Though it seems to be just Doug?s house, not ?their? house. Since moving in, they?ve had a loud, raucous party that resulted in several neighbors’ cars being keyed and egged. Because apparently Paris and Doug?s friends are 13-year-old boys.
To further prove what good neighbors they plan on being, last night Paris and Doug has such a loud screamfest that neighbors had to call the cops. Sounds like this cohabiting thing is going really well for them.
For the second time in less than a week, Paris Hilton turned her new neighborhood upside down — this time cops were called to put an end to a nuclear argument.
It happened at 1 AM this morning. LAPD officers were called to the home of Paris’ BF, Doug Reinhardt. Paris moved in on Monday. Apparently, Paris and Doug had such a screaming argument the neighbors couldn’t sleep.
When cops arrived, we’re told Paris and Doug wouldn’t open the front gate, so they hopped the fence. Paris and Doug opened the door, cops spoke with them and the loud arguing stopped.
A TMZ spy says earlier in the evening, Paris and Doug were at an event in Hollywood and had a pretty intense argument. Apparently, they took it home.

Not only do they have no problem with screaming at each other ?till all hours of the night, but they?re also unwilling to open a gate for police officers in order for them to tell the couple to tone it down. Lest you ever think that Paris Hilton is anything other than 100% about Paris Hilton. If she wants to scream so loudly her neighbors can?t sleep in the middle of the night, that?s her right darn it. How dare you disturb her fight by complaining to the police?
Moving in together does one of two things: cements a relationship or ends it. I?m sure I don?t need to tell you which way this relationship is going.

Earlier this week it was reported that Lindsay Lohan?s house was broken into and ransacked. Soon after it was revealed that the mess inside was not due to a burglary but was in fact Lohan?s own mess. Lindsay can save a little bit of her dignity from all this ? it?s now been revealed that burglars did in fact try to get into her home. They just failed - burglars aren?t generally the smartest criminals out there. On the one hand, it?s good they didn?t actually get into Lohan?s house. On the other it?s almost too bad, because at least she could have blamed her mess on them. In fact if it really was so extreme that cops thought the place had been ransacked, it?s quite possible the burglars couldn?t have found whatever they wanted and would have given up anyway.
Turns out, burglars did try to break into Lindsay Lohan’s Hollywood home.
Usmagazine.com has confirmed that two unidentified men — one wearing a baseball cap and the other with a bandana over his face — tried to enter the actress’ home around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Surveillance photos captured a 4-door gray Dodge Magnum station wagon with paper plates and custom wheels parked in front of the home.
“While the driver stayed inside, the passenger suspect stepped out of the vehicle, walked through a gate and entered the backyard of the residence,” police said in a statement.
“Investigators believed that the suspect tried to gain entry by using an unknown type tool to pry open a back window and door. After the unsuccessful attempt, the suspects drove off.”

Nothing screams ?criminal mastermind? quite like parking your car right in front of the home you?re trying to break into. I think the only thing smarter than that would be touching a lot of scotch tape with your bare fingertips and leaving big tape thumbprints all over the house. Which I am absolutely doing next time I commit crime.
No word on if the burglars were specifically targeting Lohan or if they were just going for a random house. I can?t totally fault Lohan?s priorities on this one: she may be too cheap to get a housekeeper, but that security system paid for itself pretty quickly.

On Tuesday it was reported that police responded to a security alarm at Lindsay Lohan’s home to discover what seemed to be a ransacked house. They later discovered Lindsay lived like a pig. Today, however, it’s been confirmed that two people really did attempt to gain entry into Lohan’s house.
Two men, one wearing a baseball hat and bandanna around his face and another, a driver of a four-door gray station wagon, tried to break into her home just before 3 PM. Yes, these criminal masterminds tried to rob a celebrity in the middle of the day and failed to even pry open a back window or a door. They gave up and drove off soon after. Most likely into a pole after they tried to unstick their Creed CD from their stereo. Later, we’re going to find out the bandanna he was wearing wasn’t to hide his face, it was just that he was going to a rave right after.

Moviefone has a beautiful, hilarious, amazing interview with Ewan Mcgregor. Ewan is still promoting Angels & Demons, but that part of the interview is pretty boring, so I?m putting it at the end. The interview is long, and they covered a lot of subjects, from George Clooney (?I admire him very much.?) to Jim Carrey (?Full oral penetration with Jim, yeah … Jim’s a very sensitive but firm lover?) to Megan Fox (?Who?s Megan Fox??). He?s talking about the films he?s got coming out this year and next, like I Love You Phillip Morris, where he and Jim Carrey play lovers, and Men Who Stare At Goats, with George Clooney. They also cover musicals, tattoos, getting naked, Danny Boyle and that alleged Trainspotting sequel:
In one of your smaller movies, I Love You Phillip Morris, you kiss Jim Carrey. How does he rate as an on-screen kisser?
Full oral penetration with Jim, yeah … Jim’s a very sensitive but firm lover, you know? And I think that’s what makes him such a great actor and such a great man [laughs].
There’s been more talk of a ‘Trainspotting’ sequel — would you be interested in participating in it?
I don’t think I would, for several reasons. The first one is that I didn’t think the book was very good. The novel of ‘Trainspotting’ was quite fantastic, it was beautiful, quite moving and disturbing writing, and then I find that the sequel … the book that Irvine Welsh wrote was called ‘Porno,’ and … it didn’t move me as much … He’d written a good sequel to the film as opposed to a sequel to his book. It’s also a similar story, you know, the betrayal of trust … Renton walks away with all the money at the end again. And I thought I don’t want to make the same story again. And, also, I think just the idea of getting the cast together again 10 to 15 years later isn’t good enough, you need more than that. I wouldn’t want to damage ‘Trainspotting’’s reputation, because it was an amazing film and a very important film of its time, a very important film for me and … a very important film for British cinema. I wouldn’t want to leave people remembering a poor sequel rather than leaving its reputation where it sits at the moment, which is kind of a phenomenal film.
Have you been in touch with Danny Boyle since he won the Oscar for Slumdog Millionaire?
No, I haven’t spoken to Danny for years, I’m afraid. But I thought it was very well deserved; I liked ‘Slumdog’ very much. I thought it was an excellent film, and it was nice to see him getting all those accolades; it was great.
Would you do another musical, like Moulin Rouge? Or might you ever release an album?
No … I think it’s quite tricky for actors to release albums. It’s difficult, because I’m an actor, you know, I’m not a musician. I love singing, but I don’t have a big repertoire of songs that I’ve written; I mean, I’ve got a few, but nothing that I could fill an album with, and I don’t want to do it just for the sake of it. I don’t know, we’ll see. I certainly would be very happy to do another musical; I loved it. It would just have to be the right thing.
You did a film with George Clooney, Men Who Stare At Goats. How was that experience?
I loved working with him, and he made me laugh a lot … I admire him very much, because I think he’s a great man, he’s a great actor — and I admire his commitment to his work that he does in the Sudan; he really puts his money where his mouth is, and he goes and he takes himself to the Sudan and Darfur, and I admire him for that. He doesn’t do the lip service to it, he really is quite instrumental, going to meet high-powered figures around the world, using his status as an actor to get access to presidents and prime ministers to try and get them to help as well, which is really admirable.
You play Gene Vidal in the upcoming Amelia — because he’s a real person, did that affect how you played him or how you prepped for the role?
It does in a way … I’ve found a great many photographs of him and read about him … but I [had to] trust that he was in the script. Whenever I’ve played somebody that’s real, I find that photographs … are really telling to me. When I played James Joyce [in Nora] the pictures of him were very important to the way I acted physically, and I suppose with Gene Vidal it’s the same.
Megan Fox reportedly said that you have a tattoo sleeve, is that true?
No. I have a tattoo … but who’s Megan Fox?
She’s an actress who’s in ‘Transformers.’ She supposedly was talking about getting a tattoo sleeve herself and she said that you had one.
I have a really large tattoo on my right arm … It’s about my family and where I come from in Scotland … but it’s not a sleeve, no … not quite a sleeve, but maybe half of one.
You are known for your propensity for on-screen nudity, but it seems like maybe you’re stepping back from that …
[Laughs] It’s extraordinary how it comes up. No, not at all, I mean … I’ve done nudity when it’s been relevant in the films I’ve been making, you know? I’ve made films about sexuality, and the sex in the films has been very instrumental to explaining or showing where a character’s at … In films like Young Adam the sex scenes are really sort of instructive of this young man’s moral demise. I’m interested in sexuality and sex as much as anybody else and I find it a part of art, as part of filmmaking and acting because it’s a part of life — a big part of life, I suppose. I’ve never had a problem with nudity in that it’s been relevant to the work that I’ve done, but I’ve never gone out of my way to do films with nudity, nor certainly haven’t decided not to, or stepped away from it in any way. I mean, I haven’t made a film for a while, you know, as centrally focused on sex as I have done in the past, but not for any reason. It just hasn’t cropped up, I guess.

God, I just love him. Why hasn?t he been on every magazine cover and every television show promoting the hell out of Angels & Demons? He gives a great interview, always so funny. Oh, right. They probably don?t let him promote Angels & Demons because when he talks about it, it?s a total snoozefest. Plus, he already said some of this stuff earlier this week.
There?s only one part I found interesting about the Angels & Demons discussion. Ewan says, ?[When] I read the script… there’s nothing that’s anti-Catholic. If there had been anything that I felt kind of dissed someone else’s religion, I wouldn’t have been involved in it. The people in the Catholic church in the movie who are the evildoers get their comeuppance in the end, and it’s quite clear that the Catholic church shuns them and punishes them and isn’t condoning their behavior in any way. In any walk of life there are people that are good people and there are occasionally people that do crazy things for whatever reason, you know?? Amen to that.

Shock! Horror! Ashlee Simpson could be pregnant again if this report from Star is to be believed. A source told the mag that Simpson is “just a few weeks along” and is happy, but wants to keep the news a secret for a few months.
Ashlee also thinks this second baby could bring Pete and her closer together, ie. keep him home and not in Vegas dancing with strippers. Pete, on the other hand, isn’t ready for a second child. He values his time with strippers and thinks another kid would tie him down and keep him stuck at home all day which, coincidentally, is exactly what Ashlee wants. Besides, how will Candy with the double D’s pay her way through college without Pete around? Think about it.

This week, In Touch has an interesting little story about Angelina Jolie. As it turns out, Angelina totally read In Touch?s cover story last week, the one about Brad and Jennifer Aniston meeting up in his car, and Brad whining about his difficult life, and something about a necklace. The gist of the story was that Brad was going to leave Angelina, and he was crying on Jennifer?s shoulder, because he realized he still had feelings for Jennifer. Of course, as US Weekly smugly pointed out this week, In Touch is full of crap. No mention of the pot-kettle-you?re-full-of-crap aspect of US Weekly calling out In Touch.
Back to the story - so, Angelina read the In Touch story, and she was furious. She called everyone in their ?inner circle? to see if they would verify it. I think ?inner circle? means ?Zahara and Maddox?, but I digress. Angelina got the story verified, and had a fit. She called up Brad and told him off, saying ?he?d humiliated her for the last time.? She then cussed him out. Yes, this is the image of Angelina that the tabloids spin:
When In Touch broke the news that Brad and Jen had secretly met after he picked her up on the NYC set of the film The Baster, it wasn?t just reader who were shocked.
According to a source close to the couple, Brad?s partner, Angelina Jolie, learned the story was true after questioning people in her inner circle - and leveled Brad with an angry phone call from the set of her film, Salt.
?She told Brad he?d humiliated her for the last time,? the source reveals. ?She then hurled a string of insults at him and hung up.?
The source adds that ?World War III? has broken out at the Long Island, NY mansion that Brad, Angelina and their six children are sharing, and it will be hard to ?try to act like a happy couple? when they attend the Cannes film festival in France this month.

Ah, a nice little Cannes film festival reference. I think that?s In Touch?s way of giving Brangelina an ultimatum - they must both show up at Cannes and look happy every single minute, or the tabloid will continue to run stories about their imminent demise. People aren?t even sure if Angelina is going to come to Cannes to support Brad and Inglourious Basterds. She might still have to be in New York for filming. God, can you just imagine the collective tabloid hissy fit if Angelina doesn?t drop everything to walk a red carpet with Brad?

Katherine Heigl has become an unbearable thorn in everyone’s side. Ever since she found fame playing Izzie in Grey’s Anatomy and that whiny bitch in Knocked Up, her ego has almost reached Kanye West proportions.
For example, last year Heigl withdrew herself from Emmy consideration because she felt the material for Grey’s was “lacking”, basically giving the finger to the writers. Heigl has also made it clear that she wants off the show to start a film career.
In response, show creator Shonda Rhimes gave her cancer. On last night’s finale, Izzie had to have brain surgery for said cancer and signed a DNR order. The bad news is she survived the surgery with a little bit of amnesia. The good news is that right when her amnesia went away, she died in her husband’s arms. Of course, we don’t know if she’s really dead until next season, but it’s satisfying to know the option is there. Sort of like a gun. You know you’ll probably never use it, but it’s nice to know it’s there for when you bring a girl home.

Natalie Portman and Sean Penn are still together apparently. The two have been seen all around LA together making everyone cringe as they pass by. Kissing Sean Penn must feel like tonguing rancid milk poured in an ashtray.
Portman also wants to spend more time in LA. She bought a 4,866 square foot castle-like house in Los Feliz for $3.25 million. It has four bedrooms with cathedral ceilings and features two guesthouses, a pool, a courtyard and state-of-the-art security which I will be bypassing in a few days. Those windows don’t get stared through themselves, you know.

Katie Holmes has already signed on to Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, which is reportedly really making Tom Cruise sad because he wanted to have sex and have another baby. That’s what straight men do, right?
“But Katie was such a hit that she right away landed a film role in The Extra Man, and that led to another movie project,” said the source.
“Katie feels she had to strike while the iron is hot career-wise. Since she’s only 30, she feels there’s plenty of time for more kids,” said the source, especially since she turned down reprising her role in bat-sequel The Dark Knight.
Another hurdle they have to overcome besides the time thing is the lack of foreplay. Tom caresses her naked body like you would a snotty napkin someone left on your table.

I guess it?s like Splash, but in Ireland, maybe? Colin denied dating anyone for months and months, even going so far as to proclaim his celibacy. The celibacy didn?t last long (if it even existed in the first place), because Colin and Anicja have been spotted together in Europe and America consistently over the past few months. Now this latest news, from Star Magazine - Colin is so in love with Alicja, he?s asked her to move in with him. Something about how he wants her to cook for him. If that?s all he?s looking for in a girlfriend, why hasn?t he found me?
Home is definitely where the heart is for Colin Farrell! The reformed bad boy, 32, went gaga for gorgeous Alicja Bachleda-Curus when the two shot the drama Ondine last summer, as Star revealed - and now he?s asked her to move into his $4.3 million Hollywood Hills pad.

If this was the old Colin Farrell who shagged every woman he saw, I would doubt the authenticity of anything having to do with this report. I would even doubt that Colin has some big Hollywood Hills home. But I tend to think there?s a lot of truth to it now. Colin really is a changed man, he?s not the hellraiser he once was. He?s clean and sober and he?s in an adult relationship and has been for a while. And he probably does have a big house in Hollywood - his son James probably spends most of the time with his mother, in Los Angeles, and Colin probably bought the house to be closer to the boy.
A few months ago, Colin gave a particularly heart-wrenching and honest interview about his special-needs son, rehab and his own ?profound sadness?. Colin said, ?I don?t know if I would be here if I hadn?t had [James]… He was a huge part of me going in and making certain changes in my life… The negative aspect to all this good fortune was loneliness. I never figured it out…I just had a broken heart and was profoundly sad. I had all these wonderful things in my life and yet I found myself at this point.? Sigh… so Irish, isn?t he? But I totally believe him, and if Alicja makes him happy, so be it. He deserves it!

Marisa Miller helped launch the Victoria's Secret swim collection, but I'm left quite disappointed. The inclusion of bikini girls helps, but Marisa was clothed! How can you launch a swim collection without wearing only a bikini. Okay, I admit I really just want to see the model in a bikini, but can you blame me. Marisa Miller has a freakin' hot bod! I guess there's always next time.

Who determines the categories that are worthy for the Guinness Book of World Records? I read through the Wikipedia entry on the book and am only a little closer to understanding why certain things become record-worthy. It seems to be an executive decision and marketing decision about what people are interested in now and less about truly amazing feats and gross accomplishments. Eating contests, drinking contestant and categories like “fattest cat” have been discontinued out of concern for people and animals’ health. The book now features illustrations and has whittled away some of the less popular categories. People who want to break the record for less visible categories, like maybe “Greatest Distance Walked with a Milk Bottle Balanced on the Head” (currently 80.96 miles, which took nearly 24 hours) have to write in to apply to Guinness to see if they’re eligible to try.
Among the “Mass Participation” categories on Guinness’ website are “Largest Tea Party,” “Most to parachute from a balloon simultaneously,” and “Largest gathering of Santa Clauses.” Now they can add another crowd-pleasing category, “World’s Largest Bikini Parade.” That will make for some nice glossy photos to stare at while you’re sitting on the john.
Hugh Hefner’s ex, Holly Madison, was among the hot participants. The event took place yesterday in Las Vegas to mark the 50th Anniversary of the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign. Madison also helped kick off the “Worlds Largest Pool Party.” Way to get two for one, Guinness.
Holly Madison will star in the Vegas burlesque show Peepshow starting in June. She will replace fellow Dancing With The Stars alumni Kelly Monaco. Melanie Brown is also featured in the show and will perform alongside Madison. People notes that although there are topless cabaret girls on stage, Madison will most likely not be topless as neither Monaco or Brown bared their boobs.

News broke Thursday (May 14) that Kristin Cavallari, former "Laguna Beach" star and Lauren Conrad's onetime mortal enemy, would be joining "The Hills" at the end of this season and coming on for the new season this fall. While Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have already shared their excitement for the change, fans aren't quite sure if they're ready for Cavallari to make her reality-TV return.
