The 33-year-old Victoria?s Secret stunner tells the magazine that she loves working with other lovely ladies as there?s a mutual respect and encouragement among her peers- "We get inspired by each other. They're my co-workers, they're gorgeous, and everyone there has their own spotlight. Maybe today it's my turn to wear the Fantasy Bra, but next year, it's going to be someone else."
Ambrosio also prefers to ignore the naysayers in favor of focusing on what matters in life- "When you have kids at home, there are way more important things to worry about. I don't focus on negative things; I try to focus on good things, and I'm [too] busy in my personal life to give my time to something stupid."

Controversial opinion: Robin Wright prefers to date douchebags and angry guys. That?s her ?type.? Coming on the heels of Robin?s ex-husband throwing significant shade at her and their marriage, sources close to Robin confirm that she?s back ?on? with Ben Foster in every way. Robin and Ben called off their engagement and broke up last November, when sources claimed Robin was finding Ben ?kind of immature? (he?s 14 years younger than her). But by the Golden Globes, they were back on. They attended the Globes and the Globes after-parties together, and they were in Paris together this week for Paris Fashion Week. And now sources tell Us Weekly that their engagement is back on:
Guess they’re Wright for each other after all! Two months after Us Weekly exclusively revealed that Robin Wright and fianc Ben Foster had called it quits, a source tells Us Weekly that the lovebirds are once again engaged to be married.
“They are fully back together and really happy,” the insider tells Us of the House of Cards star, 48, and the Lone Survivor actor, 34, who were photographed at the Giorgio Armani Prive Haute Couture show on Jan. 27 in France, engagement ring and all. “Ben is the nicest guy. She knows she has a keeper.”
That’s not to say their relationship is perfect, of course, just that they’re willing to work on it now. “There were a bunch of issues before, a lot because of distance and her schedule, but they are working on them,” the source adds. “It is worth it to be with a guy like this who really cares about her so much.”

For what it?s worth, Ben seemed to be a completely different guy this week at the Armani show in Paris. He was smiling and playful and he just seemed a lot lighter. Sigh? I hope this is okay. If Robin likes angry dudes and d-bags, that?s her business. I hope Ben is on the nicer end of the spectrum. But I?m guessing that they?re probably going to go through a few more breakup and makeup cycles, don?t you? They just seem like that kind of couple.

Madonna took a break from being wildly offensive and inappropriate to chat with Australia?s Today Show yesterday. She?s still promoting her new album, six songs of which she?s already released because the incomplete songs were hacked and released. I have to apologize to Madge, actually. I thought the ?hack? of her music was a PR stunt to build momentum for her album, but she really was hacked and an Israeli guy was arrested for it. Anyway, Madonna is still Madonna, which is to say? she?s still a shade-throwing diva. The Taylor Swift part of this interview got all the headlines, but Madge threw some amazing shade on the ?princesses? of pop. Some highlights from the interview:
On Miley, Rihanna and Katy Perry: “It’s good to have princesses? It means there’s lots of pretty dresses around.?
On Taylor Swift: “I like Taylor Swift. I think she writes some really catchy pop songs. I can’t get them out of my head.”
Her reinventions: Madonna rolled her eyes at “the reinvention question? I’m not calculating anything. I’m just a changing, evolving creature, expressing myself as I go.”
Lourdes going to college: ?It’s hard letting them go out into the world but when she left home to go to college I was a mess. It was really hard letting her go. I’ve come to terms with it but yes I miss her and she’s a part of me, it was like losing my arm.?
Having her music hacked: “I was devastated by it. For an artist, it’s the ultimate violation to have your work taken from you before you’re finished and put out into the world for people to hear, to judge, to experience. I can’t begin to tell you how betrayed I felt?It’s a great relief to know (a suspect has been arrested) but also extremely disturbing. We couldn’t figure out, ‘What’s the common denominator?’ We were all ripping our hair out trying to figure out, ‘Who’s leaking this information? How is it getting out there?’ It was a great relief to know, but also extremely disturbing. And then if we don’t make music, what will people listen to? So they’re really just f–king themselves over.”

I LOVE ?It means there’s lots of pretty dresses around.? That is some world-class shade there. Oh, Katy Perry was the top-selling female artist of 2014? Pretty dress, says Madonna. It?s her equivalent of patting them on the head and telling them to get out of her light. You?d think Rihanna had handed Madge some hydrangeas.
Also, I totally believe that Madonna was devastated when Lourdes went to college. I?m not saying Madonna plays favorites with her kids, but Lola is her oldest, her firstborn. That was probably really, really tough.

Last year, right around this time, Mariah Carey did an interview with a radio station in which she admitted to regularly firing nannies for doing their job, basically. She said “I go through nannies like this [snaps fingers] and I hate to do that but I have to, because if they try to make themselves more important in the baby?s mind than me… [I fire them].” So she said that if a nanny was loving toward her children that was grounds for dismissal, which is ridiculous. Mariah wanted her nanny act to cold and distant toward her twins, who were not yet three at the time, so that they would soak up any scraps of attention that she was able to give them. It’s all about Mariah’s ego and not about her babies having a loving caregiver. The minute they get attached to anyone, Mariah yanks them away.
Now one of Mariah’s former nannies is suing her and her estranged husband, Nick Cannon, for wrongful termination, unpaid wages and damages. TMZ has the details. A woman named Simonette DaCosta, the “full-time nanny when the kids were just infants” claims in her lawsuit that “the singer berated her for showing too much affection” to the children and that she was fired for it. DaCosta also claims to have worked overtime of up to 100 hours a week.
Of course I believe this nanny, because Mariah has already confirmed that she fires nannies for caring about her children. Mariah also said at the time that “I just brought a girl back home with me from Puerto Rico” to nanny. Way to give loving consistency to your children.
Meanwhile Mariah officially announced her Vegas Caesars Palace residency a couple of weeks ago. While it’s unknown how much she’s making, it’s thought that she’ll bank even more than Britney, who is earning $30 million for her two year residency. She may need to save some of that money for both this lawsuit and her divorce. We’ll probably never know what Mariah has to cough up to Nick, who is of course wealthy in his own right. As Kaiser reported earlier this month, there are confidentiality clauses built into their prenup.

Julianne Moore covers the new issue of The Hollywood Reporter, and the article is excellent. Julianne is a wonderful person (I believe that) but she?s not always the best interview. It?s not that she closed off or sullen with reporters or anything ? I get the feeling that most interviewers don?t ask her the right questions. Or maybe Julianne really felt like talking for her big THR profile. This is obviously part of her Oscar campaign ? incidentally, I can?t believe it?s taken this long for her to get a THR cover ? and if you?re cynical, you can interpret some of her positions as part of an Oscar strategy too. Julianne talks about how she doesn?t believe in God anymore, which could have been a big controversy? except that she puts her atheism in the context of her mother?s death in 2009.
Going into therapy in her early 30s: “I discovered that [my private life] was as important as my professional life. I didn’t spend the time; I didn’t invest. One thing I used to tell my women friends was, ‘There’s an expectation that your personal life is going to happen to you, but you’re going to have to make your career happen. And that’s not true: You have to make your personal life happen as much as your career.’ ”
What she learned from Little Women: “The idea that you’re the center of your own narrative and that you can create your life is a great idea. I totally believe it. I’ve been really lucky, but I feel I’ve completely created my own life.”
Gun control/safety: “I get more reactions on Twitter about gun safety than anything else. I don’t understand how we’re threatening the Second Amendment because we’re talking about gun safety rules. That, to me, is really shocking.”
She stopped believing in God when her mom died: ?I learned when my mother died five years ago that there is no ‘there’ there. Structure, it’s all imposed. We impose order and narrative on everything in order to understand it. Otherwise, there’s nothing but chaos.”
Childcare: “When my kids were babies, they traveled all over the world with me and came to work with me every day, and it was never frowned upon. I am very fortunate in that I can afford to have child care, and I always hired someone who was young and very flexible ? so that was always my ‘entourage’: my kids and my babysitter.”

The gun control thing will probably go over pretty well with the Academy. The atheism will be fine, because it?s more about losing her mom. My one peeve: she?s referring to the young nannies she hired as ?babysitters.? That still bugs me. If you?re hiring someone young and flexible to fly around the world with you and your kids while you film on location, that?s a nanny. Not a babysitter.
She also talks about her filmography and her interests outside of work (decorating, learning languages) and all of that. It is a good read.

I hate to admit this, but I never saw Episodes II or III of the Star Wars franchise. Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace was so terrible, I never bothered with the rest. So I have no idea if Ewan Mcgregor should really be ashamed of his involvement with those three films. Ewan played the young Obi-Wan Kenobi and while Ewan has always been complimentary towards his time spent in the franchise, it also feels like he sometimes wishes he had been doing other other projects. Anyway, while Ewan was at Sundance a few days ago, he commented on the trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. He had some nerdy things to say about the now-controversial lightsaber seen in the trailer ? that?s the lightsaber with two little lightsabers at the hilt.
NERD FIGHT!! Ewan says: ?I was a bit dubious about the hilt on the lightsaber. If you know how to handle a lightsaber, like we did, you don’t need a hilt. That’s just one thing I think they might have got wrong.? But he also says that ?the trailer looks very good. It looks like they’ve kept the right spirit.?
So what do you think? Does the former Jedi know what he?s talking about? Here?s the thing: I?m guessing that the nerds making these new Star Wars movies know what they?re doing. Their loyalties are towards George Lucas? original vision, and the Episodes IV-VI. My guess is that only a select few (bad guys, probably) have the ?hilted? lightsabers.

We tease/make fun of Gwyneth Paltrow often enough for her elitism and her casual privilege. Sometimes we could possibly give her the benefit of the doubt, but after so many years of her holier-than-thou attitude and her ?advice? to the peasants, the ?benefit of the doubt? well has run dry. Goop.com is a hodge-podge of Gwyneth?s advice about everything from eating (avoid it) to exercise (do as much as possible) to New Age faux-spiritual crap. I swear she gets paid to ?recommend? a lot of the crap she shills through Goop, but this week?s recommendation has Dame Goop boldly going where she?s never gone before: up your vadge. Literally. She thinks that everyone simply must try the ?V-steam? which promises to steam clean your uterus. For real.

Steam cleaning your uterus? Sounds?uncomfortable. Like, is the steam HOT? Is anything going to be scalded? And does it work like an iron? Are you de-wrinkling down there? So many questions about such an unnecessary procedure. My take: if your uterus needs a steam clean then you?re doing it wrong.
Apparently, it costs $50 to steam clean your V. That?s relatively cheap when it comes to Goop recommendations, until you realize that you could just boil some water and fan the steam up your business for pennies. The website says there are five V-steams to choose from: ?the signature, the slimming, the infertility, the post-partum and even a signature V-steam for men.? MEN CAN GET V-STEAMED!
