Enjoying some quality time together while running errands, Amy Adams and her man, Darren Le Gallo, stepped out in Beverly Hills on Wednesday (February 12).
The "Man of Steel" star sported a graphic t-shirt and maroon leggings as she chatted on the phone while making her way through the busy streets.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Adams' rep slammed the fashion brand Valentino earlier this week for using her as an opportunity to sell their bags.
While attending the funeral of her good friend Philip Seymour Hoffman, the 39-year-old actress happened to be photographed carrying a Valentino handbag.
After seeing the snapshots, Valentino put out a press release stating they were ?pleased to announce the new Valentino Garavani Rockstud Duble bag? and noted that Amy was carrying it in the photograph.
As soon as Miss Adams received word of the press release, her rep fired back with, "[Amy] is not a paid spokesperson for Valentino and using an image from Hoffman's wake to promote the bag is truly appalling."
In response, a spokesperson from Valentino declared, "We sincerely regret releasing a photo to the media this morning of Amy Adams with a Valentino bag. We were not aware the photograph was taken while she was attending the wake of Philip Seymour Hoffman."
"It was an innocent mistake, and we apologize to Miss Adams who was not aware, or a part of, our PR efforts."

Testing the waters from the director?s chair, Natalie Portman was busy on the set of ?A Tale of Love and Darkness? in Jerusalem, Israel on Thursday (February 13).
The ?Garden State? gal seemed to be in good spirits as she set up a scene despite the recent controversy over the project.
Apparently the residents of Jerusalem?s Nahlaot district are concerned with Portman?s presence and they wrote a letter to deputy mayor Rachel Azaria in protest.
The letter states, "The film shooting is set to take place on several sensitive streets close to synagogues and yeshivas, and the scenes being filmed should have been examined first to make sure they don't offend anybody's sensitivities."
In response, the deputy mayor declared, "There is a constant tension between the desire to celebrate diverse and interesting Jerusalem and the attempts by extremist groups to prevent this. The attraction of the city, its unique architecture and the efforts of the film and television industry will triumph and the cinematic growth we've seen in Jerusalem in recent years will continue to flourish with Natalie Portman in Nahlaot."

Here are some new photos of Kim Kardashian and Ciara at Bel Bambini yesterday in LA. They were filming a scene for Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Life & Style/Hollywood Life claims that Kim and Kanye are fighting about their wedding because Yeezington is arranging all of these ?surprises? for Kim and she?s totally over it, she just wants a simply wedding with no surprises. Kim Kardashian might have landed a cover on an international version of Vogue, but not before famed California photographer Tyler Shields refused to shoot the reality TV star, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
According to a source close to the situation, Shields ? former fianc to Clint Eastwood?s daughter, Francesca ? was approached to shoot the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star for Vogue but didn?t take the gig, leaving both the magazine and Kim in shock.
?Tyler is the hardest person to hire for a shoot. You have to know him or it has to make sense to him,? the insider revealed. ?He prides himself on shooting only the people he knows or likes. A lot of people want to be shot by him.?
As Radar previously reported, Kim?s fianc, Kanye West, had been ?absolutely determined? to land his baby mama on the cover of Anna Wintour?s magazine ? and was furious when Girls creator Lena Dunham graced the Jan. 2014 cover instead. The couple then turned their sights to Italy and several weeks ago both Kim and Kanye were spotted cozying up to Editor-In-Chief of Vogue Italia, Franca Sozzani, during a trip to Paris.
When Kim finally landed a spread with Vogue, even if it was international, ?It was a shock and a stab to Kim?s ego to be turned down by a photographer she wanted,? another source said.
?Vogue was in shock too, as if people should be clamoring to shoot for them.?
But the source close to Shields, 31, said not only is he just not that into Kim, but the shoot wouldn?t have been worth it to him either.
?Tyler was busy shooting for his new gallery and his focus is art. That?s where he makes his money,? the source told Radar. ?He was working on his space series which will make him a few million dollars. Why would he stray from that to shoot Kim??
Radar reached out to Shields but he denied comment.

Yes, Tyler Shields will spend years taking photos of a bloody and/or p0rned-out Lindsay Lohan, but Kim Kardashian is beneath him. It?s not like Tyler Shields is getting major magazine work in, like, Vogue or Vanity Fair or even Interview, Elle, Marie Claire or W Magazine either. He?s pretty much a Terry Richardson wannabe, which is a pretty low bar to set for yourself as a photographer. Anyway, as much as people love to hate on Kim, this isn?t a reflection on her. Tyler Shields just wanted some attention. I doubt he was even asked to shoot Kim.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard finally walked a red carpet together! Of course they’ve done this before during the 2011 Rum Diary tour, but that was back when they weren’t “together.” I won’t debate the timeline here. I did, however, get carried away with the number of photos from this premiere. Their body language is so interesting. Amber made Johnny leave the scarves at home. Good call.
This is a pretty big premiere for Amber. She didn’t tag along for Johnny’s Lone Ranger promotion, but now that they are engaged, Johnny made good by showing up to support her role in 3 Days to Kill. Amber plays a sexy FBI agent (for real) opposite Kevin Costner, who plays a dying Secret Service Agent trying to win back his wife and daughter. You can watch the trailer here. It’s nothing special. The movie actually feels like one of the cheesy action movies Angelina Jolie did in her early career. I bring this up again because Amber is very much trying to execute “the Leg” like she did at the Globes.
I’m including some photos of Johnny’s crazy wing-tip shoes, but let’s talk about Amber’s dress. She’s wearing Alexandre Valthier with a dramatic v-neck and leg-baring slit. Amber’s body looks fantastic. Her makeup is just right even if the hair’s a little greasy. Perfect shoes are perfect.
I think Amber’s a total knockout, and I have nothing but respect for her game. Amber may be pretentious and faux art-y (farty?), but she has made all the right moves in this relationship. Johnny’s the one falling all over himself, and Amber is working it. Amber also gave a press conference yesterday about how much she “loves” shooting men in the head. During movies:
Does she like shooting men in the head? “I love it. I love it. Absolutely. It’s a perk of the job. I would rather shoot the gun and save the girl or save the guy or be hated than be cute, sweet and adorable and loved. It’s way more fun. It’s always more fun to play a badass. I always fight for those characters.”
She’s very picky with roles: “I only make a few movies a year because for every one that I take, I’ve said no thanks to many romantic movies where I bat my eyelashes and catch the bouquet.”
On Kevin Costner: “He reminds me of where I come from. He’s a just good ol’ American guy. He reminds of the people I grew up with and who I was raised by, so I got him. He and I just got each other instantly.”

Amber never deviates from her message. She doesn’t waste time with silly romantic comedies. This girl is truly angling to be the next Angelina Jolie, which is fine because Angelina really isn’t interested in these types of movies anymore. Now can Amber rack up some box-office successes? We’ll see. I have my doubts.

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade got engaged in December, just two months after Wade?s divorce was finalized (the ?cause? of the divorce was widely believed to be Gabrielle). Then, just one week after Gabby was showing off her crazy ring, Wade announced that he had fathered a baby with another woman during a brief ?break up? with Gabby last year. The whole thing seemed super-shady, and further investigation by TMZ led me to believe that Dwyane cheated on Gabrielle in February 2013, then told Gabby about the baby in April, after which they broke up for about a month, then got back together. I also believe Dwyane has probably cheated on Gabby multiple times and that she just pretty much accepts it because, in the end, she got the ring.
But that hasn?t stopped Gabby from pulling out the Empowered & Financially Secure Woman Card. Gabby went on The Arsenio Hall Show earlier this week to discuss how she and Wade are going to have a prenup? at her request. Because she worries about HER assets.
Forget the starry-eyed romance. Gabrielle Union says she plans to marry NBA star Dwyane Wade with an open heart ? and an iron-clad prenup.
“I’ve got to protect my stuff,” the Being Mary Jane star matter-of-factly told the ageless Arsenio Hall on The Arsenio Hall Show Monday night. Union, 41, has made it clear she’s hoping to avoid repeating mistakes she made when her first marriage, to NFL star Chris Howard, ended in divorce in 2005.
“The biggest difference between this and the last marriage will be a prenup ? at my insistence,” she bluntly told Hall as the audience giggled. “The reality is, I’ve never seen Dwyane balance a checkbook.”
Wade, 32, proposed to Union in December after presenting her with an eye-popping engagement ring. Two months later, it appears wedding planning is in full-swing (she even cops to adhering to a porn diet to stay in shape), and Union vows it won’t be anything like her first nuptials.
“The last time, I just wrote checks,” she admitted. “I was working, I had a wedding planner, and I just showed up and was like, ‘Ooh, that’s nice. Who picked that out?’ ”
This time, she says, she’s determined the keep things small, which means no bridesmaids and a pared-down guest list.
“There’s a lot of people who think they’re coming,” she said, calling Wade the “executioner” who is not afraid to cross people off the list. “If you’re not about us and we don’t both have a relationship with you, you’re not going to make it.”

So I take it Dwyane?s baby-mama is not going to be invited? And of course there won?t be any bridesmaids. Gabrielle doesn?t want any more whoopsie pregnancies. Not on her watch! Ugh, I could not live like that. Imagine that marriage ? not being able to trust your baller husband around any woman, not even being able to trust him around a joint checking account? Yikes.
Anyway, do you believe her that the pre-nup was her idea? I?m not so sure. I have no doubt that Gabby?s financial house is in order ? she works a lot and I?m sure she?s got a nice nest egg, probably somewhere in the $15-20 million range. But Dwyane Wade?s most recent contract with the Heat was $107.5 million for six years. Then he?s got all kinds of crazy endorsements too, plus profit-sharing in a Chinese sneaker company, and on and on. Yeah. I?m not saying Gabrielle is a golddigger, but I am saying that the pre-nup probably wasn?t her idea.

Disturbingly, after I wrote this up, CB sent me this Radar story about Wade’s ex-wife Siovaughn. Siovaughn claims – in court documents – that Wade was abusive for years throughout their marriage, that he would hit her, slam her into walls, lock her in rooms, and other types of abuse. Siovaughn claims: ?I tried to leave Dwyane Wade, but when I did, he made sure I did not have access to my own home and he cut off all my bankcards and denied me access to any money. This exerting of power and control has continued to this day.? She also says he was cheating on her throughout the marriage and he gave her an STD. YIKES.

Mariah Carey did an interview with NY Radio station Power 105?s Breakfast Club show. She was promoting her new single, “You’re Mine (Eternal).” The video is here, and it’s a mishmash of breathy vocals and flattering digitally altered shots of Mariah posing next to water and covered in body glitter. Basically it’s like every other Mariah video we’ve seen. Here’s a screenshot:
As for her Power 105 interview, you can watch the interview in full on YouTube if you’re interested. TMZ has a two minute highlights video in case you can only take so much Mariah. (Honestly I got through 20 minutes of the video and had to shut it off.)
They start off by discussing the lighting in the radio station. Mariah brought her own lighting team and a hair person. To a radio show. Then they move on to the fact that Mariah was late for the interview, and that she’s routinely late for everything, although she claims to be doing better lately. Mariah spends most of the interview smoothing her hair, talking about Mariah and acting like she’s the most important person ever, as usual. The hot DJ, Charlamagne, mildly calls her on her sh*t, which is amusing. He even asks her if she wears Spanx, but she dodges the question.
Mariah reveals that she really doesn’t know what her husband, Nick Cannon, is up to, and that she goes through nannies like water. Of course she does. She also says that she wouldn’t have done Idol for just 12 million dollars. She got more than that.

That was a moment in my life that I want to press ‘delete.’ I was hoping to be more of a mentor for the contestants… they chose to go another direction which was ‘reality tv.’

I know a lot of people love Mariah and find her amusing, but I can only take so much of her. She’s not playing up this diva act for laughs. This is how she really is. When her nearly three year-old twins start to bond with a nanny, Mariah fires that person so there’s no consistent caregiver in their lives except Mariah. It’s not about her kids at all, it’s all about Mariah. Nick is off doing his own thing, and Mariah makes it clear that she doesn’t agree with that because she doesn’t have control of what he says. I don’t think they’re going to divorce or split anytime soon. Nick has dealt with Mariah for years and she’s always been this way.
Oh and did you see Mariah Carey’s crazy BET Honors gown? (Those photos are here) She was falling out of it. She sort-of talked about it during the interview, saying that the idea was for her to be “luxuriating” in the dress, but she didn’t make much sense.

I give January a gold star for pointing out the similarities, I really do. I thought the Fifty Shades poster was a clever first poster for the film, and I enjoyed the starkness and the coldness of it. But now that I know that they were just ?homage-ing? These are more photos of Katie Holmes at New York fashion week where she’s attending as a spectator instead of (thank goodness) a designer. We covered her black leather and sheer skirt at the Donna Karan show, but I’m ready to forget all about that outfit in favor of this one. I think this is the best Katie has looked since her pre-Tom Cruise days. The double-breasted coat is amazing, and I wish we could see the dress Katie’s wearing underneath it. The bag is alright, and I’m ignoring the Louboutins (poor girl never gets shoes right), but otherwise, this is a fantastic look for Katie. She’s one of the few people who can get away with flat-ironed, center-parted locks. Her skin is glowing too! She must be getting some.
Speaking of getting down and dirty, I’ve made no secret of rooting in favor of those rumors that Katie and Jamie Foxx are hooking up all over the place. These rumors have been heating up for months, and I’ve been wondering what Tom Cruise thinks of the situation. This week’s issue of the Enquirer says Tom is not happy at all. No surprise there, right? The cover (which is in the gallery) says Tom has gone “berzerk and feels very “bitter” over his buddy bangin’ his (3rd) ex-wife. Here are some details from the story:
Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx have been good friends ever since teaming up in the 2004 big screen thriller Collateral – but now a woman has come between them.
And it isn’t just any gal – it’s Tom?s ex-wife Katie Holmes!
The ENQUIRER previously broke the news that Oscar-winner Jamie has been secretly seeing the Batman Begins beauty, even spending nights at her New York apartment. Although Jamie insisted at the time he wasn?t dating his pal’s ex, published reports have subsequently claimed that they were together during Super Bowl weekend.
And Tom is said to be furious about it.
“Tom feels hurt and deceived,” confided a source.
Back in our October exclusive, we reported that Katie and Jamie were desperate to keep their relationship under wraps.
“Neither of them wanted this affair out in the open,” said an insider. “Jamie wanted to keep it quiet because he figured Tom would consider it a betrayal of their friendship.”
And that, apparently, is just what happened.

I don’t know whether the Enquirer has actually spoken to a Tom source or if they’re merely painting by the numbers with this story. Regardless of how the Enquirer wrote this tale, it’s completely believable. It’s not hard to imagine that Tom would throw his lifts at the ceiling at the thought of Jamie and Katie getting busy together. Tom helped Jamie get started in Hollywood, and Tom expects unyielding loyalty. Tom expects the world to fall at his knees. Tom can suck it.

If you asked me last Saturday if I thought I was going to spend this week discussing the British Museum?s possession of The Elgin Marbles/The Parthenon Marbles, I would have said you were crazy. But here we are. Quick note: these are some assorted new pics from the promotional tour for The Monuments Men. Most of these pics are from the London premiere and photocall. Anyway, back to the marbles. When doing press in Italy, George Clooney was asked ? by a Greek reporter ? if he thought the British Museum should return the Elgin Marbles to Greece. George said that it would probably be a good idea. The Greeks lavished praise on Clooney and they invited him to stay in Greece whenever he wants. But now George is England, and the English have a bone to pick with him. Before Clooney even arrived in England, John Whittingdale, the chairman of Parliament’s Culture, Media and Sport Committee told reporters:
“I’m a great admirer of George Clooney, but I suspect that he probably doesn’t know the history of the Elgin marbles and the legal entitlement that Britain has to them. He’s an American. I suspect he doesn’t know why it is that Britain came to acquire the Elgin marbles. There’s a very strong view in this country that they should stay.?

Basically, Clooney is a dumb America who should just go back to America and stop talking about Europe’s stolen art? Right. So, the British reporters were ready to pounce on Clooney as soon as he arrived. They asked him to reiterate his position. Clooney actually sounds good here:
At today’s press conference, held at the National Gallery, Clooney said it had been “one in about 100 questions at a press conference, from a Greek reporter, and I said I thought it was probably a good idea if they found their way back”.
But he added: “Apparently I got in trouble for saying that and I had to do a little research to make sure I wasn?t completely out of my mind. Even in England, the polling is in favour of returning the marbles to the Pantheon [sic]. The Vatican returned parts of it, the Getty returned parts of it [the Vatican gave a section of the Parthenon frieze to the Acropolis museum in Athens on loan; the J Paul Getty museum in Los Angeles repatriated looted treasures last year]. There are certain pieces you look at and think, ?That would perhaps be the right thing to do?.”
Clooney noted that he had been criticized for commenting because he was American and did not have sufficient understanding of the situation.
But Matt Damon, who was also present at the press conference, laughed: “That can?t always be the British default setting. It?s not actually an argument to say, ?He?s American, he doesn?t get it?.”

I tend to think George had the right to his opinion, and I err more on his side of the argument anyway. But don?t look at me ? if I had my way, the Queen would return the Koh-i-Noor diamond to India as well. Anyway, this has become a major kerfuffle in the UK, and wouldn?t you know, London mayor Boris Johnson decided to chime in too:
?Someone urgently needs to restore George Clooney?s marbles. Here he is plugging a film about looted Nazi art without realising that Gring himself had plans to plunder the British Museum. And where were the Nazis going to send the Elgin marbles? To Athens! This Clooney is advocating nothing less than the Hitlerian agenda for London?s cultural treasures. He should stuff the Hollywood script and stick to history.?

That argument makes absolutely no sense. It?s not even a reasonable application of Godwin?s law. Yes, the Nazis looted so many museums. They stole precious artwork and treasures from museums and from private citizens. SO DID ENGLAND. Just because England did it under the guise of ?colonization? a century or two before the Nazis, doesn?t make it any less wrong. It?s like saying, ?The Nazis were going to steal the stuff that WE STOLE FIRST.?

Nicole Kidman covers the new issue of InStyle. It?s a new photoshoot, but the interview seems like a rehash of the same old stuff she?s been saying for years. She lives in Nashville, blah blah, she?s all about the quiet country life, etc. Still, there are some interesting things happening with Nicole these days. I?ll get to that in a moment. First, some interview highlights:
She?s super-country: ?I?m very country at heart. I have a real desire to be outdoors, a desire for simplicity?a slightly slower, relaxed approach to life. A community, not a big-city feel. That?s what I grew up with, and it?s what I prefer.?
She loves Keith?s tour bus: “That’s basically how I’ve seen most of America, on that bus. Keith and I are both gypsies at heart. We can make our home wherever we are. The girls are like that too now, so we take them everywhere.?
When she and Keith are apart: “For every single night he?s away, he leaves me a love letter. Every single night of our relationship.”
Being born in Hawaii: ?I used to pretend to the kids at school that I was born right on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu,? she says with a laugh. ?I was actually delivered in a hospital?but it sounded good, and they believed me.?
Taking risks in her career: ?I always try to push through fear. People always say, ?Oh, you take such risks,? or ?You?re brave.? And I?m like, ?Well, if you only knew?inside I?m really frightened!?

I don?t really have a problem with any of this, I just think Nicole spends more time talking about how she loves the simple country life rather than actually enjoying the simple country life. She and Keith are in LA a lot, that?s all I?m saying. But! Maybe my perspective is off. We can go months and months without seeing Sunday and Faith, so maybe Nicole is doing a better job than many actress moms at raising her kids out of the spotlight.
As for Keith writing Nicole a love letter for every night they?re apart? WHO HAS THE TIME?!?!?! No, seriously? how much of a time-suck is that little romantic gesture? And what new stuff do you really have to say to your beloved in each new love letter? Maybe I?m missing that Romance Gene but after, say, three or four letters, I would be like, ?Yeah, stop doing that. I don?t even have time to read them.?
As for the other interesting Kidman news? remember how Grace of Monaco was supposed to be released last year? And then it got pushed back and it was supposed to come out sometime around now. Then it got pushed back again. I thought it was a combination of factors, including but not limited to: a particularly bad performance by Nicole as Grace Kelly; Harvey Weinstein fighting with the director; and the fact that the whole film seems like some Lifetime crap. Well, maybe I was wrong?? Because Grace of Monaco is going to open the Cannes Film Festival this year. Yeah. I don?t get it either.

Rihanna has scored her third cover of Vogue. She covers the March issue (she previously did so in November 2012 and March of 2011). I usually admire RiRi’s ability to dress up or down and look fierce no matter what, but I have to say that this cover seems more suitable for Glamour than for Vogue. It’s a suprisingly budget shoot for Vogue and seems especially out of place for the US edition.
Oh well. I can complain all day about this shoot looking downmarket (compared to Rihanna’s other cover shoots), but anybody on any Vogue cover is always better than a Kardashian on Vogue. Who knows — maybe Anna Wintour is telling us something with this atypical editorial. Rihanna herself looks good. She can always rock the short hair, and she’s so pretty. The clothes are another matter. Everything looks so cheap, and there’s a fringey Calvin Klein dress that is particularly hideous.
TMZ has an update on Rihanna’s finances. Remember all of those 2009 rumors that she was broke? Rihanna made some bad real estate decisions, and she spent money like crazy. She did deny at the time that there was any trouble, but TMZ says Rihanna is now blaming her sketchy accountant for making her “effectively bankrupt.” Four years later, she’s recovered thanks to yearly album releases and a nearly non-stop tour schedule. Rihanna’s now worth $43 million dollars! Yet she still manages to look cheap in this issue of Vogue.

Wow, Leonardo DiCaprio is seriously campaigning for the Oscar this year. I don?t remember him ever waging this kind of real ?campaign? before, not for the other times he was nominated. Maybe he really wants it this year. Maybe he figures that his biggest competition is Matthew McConaughey and why not give Matthew a real run for his money? So, Leo agreed to this Variety Mag cover profile and it?s pretty epic. Leo?s quotes are charming, humble and serious when they need to be. Marty Scorsese sings his praises. Tobey Maguire is called on to fill out the requisite ?Leo is the most amazing actor of his generation? profile stuff. It?s a really great piece of Oscar campaigning. Being a child actor: ?When I started acting, I didn?t think of it as a career. I always thought Hollywood was this magical world where a fairy came down and said, ?Come live with the Munchkins; you are now one of us.??? He laughs. ?I didn?t understand the concept of it as a career. I thought I would save up enough money to go to college.?
Growing up in ?Prostitution Alley?: ?I saw all the moral decay you could, beginning at 2 years old. But I also got to see how the other half lived.? That was thanks to a to scholarship to University Elementary School, a magnet program of UCLA, in the tony Westwood section of Los Angeles. His mother would drive him 45 minutes to school and back every day. ?I could see that this other world was out there. And if I could only get my shot, I would never waste the opportunity. That mentality and that gratitude are still in me.?
The criticisms of Wolf of Wall Street: ?We knew we were doing a movie about incredibly distasteful people, and their likability would be questioned,? DiCaprio acknowledges. ?But Marty said, ?I?ve done a lot of movies like this, and I find that if you?re authentic in your portrayal of their nature and don?t try to give them a false sense of motivation, audiences will go along with you on the journey.???
Why Leo has been going the extra mile to promote WOWS: ?I really wanted this movie to succeed, because to me, you don?t see R-rated films like this getting made that aren?t on an epic scale. So I?m glad this film is now in the green. Studios ultimately look at what works and what doesn?t, and greenlight the things that do.?
Turning down a lot of money when he was just a teenager: He was offered ?more money than I ever dreamed of? to take a role in the Disney family film ?Hocus Pocus.? But he decided he wanted to hold out for a small indie for which he hadn?t even auditioned yet, ?What?s Eating Gilbert Grape.? ?I don?t know where the hell I got the nerve,? he says now. ?You live in an environment where you?re influenced by people telling you to make a lot of money and strike while the iron?s hot. But if there?s one thing I?m very proud of, it?s being a young man who was sticking to my guns.?

He auditioned for Moulin Rouge: Years earlier, he met with Luhrmann about the role in ?Moulin Rogue!? that eventually went to Ewan Mcgregor. ?To be honest, I?m not really prepared to do a musical, simply because I think I have a pretty atrocious voice,? he notes. ?But we had a friendly thing where it was me and him and a piano player, and we tried to sing a song together. It didn?t go too well. I think it was ?Lean on Me,? and when I hit the high note, he just turned to me.? At this point, DiCaprio affects Luhrmann?s Australian accent, ???Yes, D, I don?t know if this conversation should continue.??? With that, DiCaprio dissolves into laughter. ?The truth is,? he says, ?I honestly feel just so lucky to make movies.?

There?s a lengthy discussion of his preparation for Gilbert Grape and for his big dramatic breakout in This Boy?s Life. Peppered throughout the piece are some choice bits of information too: Leo?s had the same manager for 20 years, Leo still has an acting coach for tune-ups, Leo is extremely loyal to his business associates and his friends, Leo is An Artist and A Serious Actor. Here?s the thing: I have no doubt that Leo will eventually win an Oscar. He?s very respected in the Hollywood circles that matter, and he turns in consistently good work in films that make money. They?ll give him an Oscar at some point. I just don?t know if they?ll give him an Oscar for WOWS. That being said, I’m enjoying his campaign. We’ll see, Leo. We’ll see.
