Getting back into the swing of things after the holiday season, Halle Berry was spotted walking her daughter Nahla to school in West Hollywood today (January 5).
The ?Monster?s Ball? mommy looked cool and casual in a light grey t-shirt, dark grey scarf, and distressed jeans as she carried her little girl up the street.
And though there haven?t been any official announcements, Halle was recently spotted wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring on her left hand.
Ms. Berry has been dating Olivier Martinez for awhile now, though she famously said in the past that marriage wasn?t something that interested her after dealing with divorce.

Taking care of some personal business, Brad Pitt was spotted leaving a skin care spa in Beverly Hills, CA on Thursday (January 5).
The ?Moneyball? star sported shades and a black jumpsuit while emerging from the place of relaxation using the assistance of a cane - with the reason behind the walking aid unknown at the time.
In other news, Pitt?s film ?World War Z? ? which hits theaters on December 21st - is being considered as a potential trilogy.

Mila Kunis is the new face of Dior! These are some of the images from Mila?s new Dior campaign – I find the campaign shots to be gorgeous. Except for the shot where Mila has the red bag – they overdid the Photoshop on her face in that one. But the other shots are gorge.
Dior took a big hit, public-relations-wise, in 2011 when their head designer, John Galliano, revealed himself to be a drunken, racist, anti-Semitic Nazi sympathizer. Galliano was pushed out, and he went to rehab, and Dior is now being looked after by?? I don?t even know. I know that towards the end of last year, there were many names being thrown around, like Marc Jacobs and Alexander Wang, but I think it went to (or is about to go to) a relative unknown by the name of Raf Simons.
Anyway, Dior girls of the past and present have included Marion Cotillard, Charlize Theron and Natalie Portman. Portman was very vocal in her criticism of Galliano, and it?s very interesting to me that it seems like Portman is totally out of her Dior contract and she seems to have been replaced with Mila.
For a young actress — for any actress — getting a big beauty endorsement deal for print and television advertising campaigns is an enormous boost to the career. First of all, it’s very lucrative. Second, it means the world will be exposed to your face, shot by one of the best photographers on the planet. And finally, you become associated with the brand’s international image — which in this case is Dior.
Up until recently, French actress Marion Cotillard has been Dior’s face. While they’ve been working with Charlize Theron for many years on the perfume front, it’s unusual for Dior to have an American actress be their face when it comes to clothing and handbags. Mila Kunis will debut in the new spring/summer 2012 ad campaign shot by Mikael Jansen in New York and will break this month. Kunis is featured in chic black clothes and a red iconic “Miss Dior” bag. Her hair is pulled up in a French style chignon.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be working with Dior,” Kunis announced. “The brand is iconic in so many ways. It defines fashion, elegance and sophistication.”
Kunis has just wrapped Oz:The Great and Powerful with James Franco, and while the actress started her career in broad comedy, this will only elevate that leading lady image she’s been heading for. Will Kunis show up for Dior’s couture show next week in Paris or their ready to wear show in March? We have a feeling there’s a strong possibility. Also, next time she shows up at an awards show, you can bet it will be in Dior.

I think this endorsement deal is a smart one for both Dior and Mila – it?s a very good combination. Mila will hit a younger demographic for Dior, and the international ad campaign will help to launch Mila as a bigger international star. I wonder how much Mila got paid? I?m guessing? maybe $2 million?

The nearly-30-year-old British Royal has come to a conclusion on four organizations she will highlight and they?re all great causes.
Ms. Middleton picked The National Portrait Gallery, Action on Addiction, East Anglia?s Children?s Hospices, and The Art Room.
A St. James Palace rep told press, ?The duchess? first patronages and her volunteer position reflect her?personal interests in the arts, the promotion of outdoor activity, and supporting people who are in need of all ages, especially young children. The duchess has chosen to support organizations that complement the charitable work already undertaken by her husband.?

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are on an endless vacation, it seems. First, they went to Mexico with friends before Christmas, and they posed endlessly for the paparazzi. Then they returned briefly to LA for Christmas, and then spent post-Christmas and New Year?s in Aspen. And now that the boys have been shuffled off to Brandi (I?m guessing?), LeAnn is continuing her grand tradition of ?bikini bolt-on extravaganza? in Hawaii. Yes, LeAnn and Eddie are Maui now, and these are some photos from their trip. I?m assuming they invited the paparazzi, because some of these photos seem to be shot from a very short distance.
You can see some better, full-body shots of LeAnn here, at The Mail. The Mail claims – and I think rightly – that LeAnn?s body is looking better. As in, less emaciated, and more like she ?accidentally? ate some solids. LeAnn spent the better part of 2011 trying to convince the world that she really was eating solids, to the point where I think she might have accidentally consumed some. Whatever is going on with her workout-diet system, it?s improved. I don?t feel like I?m looking at a pair of oversized implants hanging on a skeleton.
Of course, LeAnn?s (slight) weight gain might bring more speculation that she?s pregnant or preparing to get pregnant. LeAnn was tweeting about the pregnancy speculation the other day, saying that there?s ?no rush, we?re happy right now.? Then she tweeted ?I have never even tried [to conceive a child]. Please stop discussing my ovaries.? On one side, I agree with her – it?s her business, etc. On the other side? she brought it on herself. She was the one tweeting her womb-business to the world. She?s the one papping herself in thong bikinis on the beach. She would show us her pap smear if she thought we were interested.

Last night, Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz walked their first red carpet together – as a married couple or otherwise. I just talked about this yesterday – I was surprised that Daniel and Rachel hadn?t done any red carpets together for any of the premieres of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, and magically, hours later, Danny & Rach followed through. I don?t want to say it?s because of my musings, but it totally is. Anyway, Daniel and Rachel did their big red carpet debut in Madrid, for the GWTDT?s Spanish premiere.
Rachel is wearing Alexander McQueen. I?m not completely in love with the dress, but it?s nice enough and Rachel looks pretty. Shortly after she and Daniel got married, she was in NYC, promoting a film, and she looked AMAZING. Like, she looked like she was coming off of an insane sex bender. Her skin was glowing, her body looked fantastic, and she just looked so happy. She looks happy here? but maybe a little tired? Maybe Daniel just wants to bone her, like, constantly. Maybe that?s why he?s so smiley and happy! He?s all, ?Check out my wife. I?ve already boned her three times today!? That being said, I no longer think Rachel is already pregnant. Look at that tiny waist! Not yet. But she might be soon.
Last summer, I wrote about a story in which an eyewitness described Daniel and Rachel as ?hotter than Brangelina.? Which is still a question in my mind – now that Daniel and Rachel have done their first red carpet together, who is a hotter red-carpet coupling? Craig-Weisz or Jolie-Pitt? Honestly, I?d like to watch both couples.

Indie poster girl Zooey Deschanel has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Death Cab for Cutie’s Ben Gibbard. Zooey and Ben announced their split in November after just two years of marriage. We didn’t hear much insider dirt on why these two called it quits, and just had a statement from their people that it was “amicable” and that “no third party was involved.” I doubt that it was “amicable,” as Bedhead often points out about celebrity divorces, but maybe it’s true they just drifted apart or had different goals or whatever. The thing that really interested me about this story is that the divorce filing was made public and it lists Zooey’s assets and expenditures. She’s very sensible with her money, saves more than she spends, and has no consumer debt. Girl has over $3 million in assets and she’s only 31. Good for her! Here’s more:
Zooey Deschanel is worth millions, spends relatively modestly, and has a zero balance on her credit cards … this according to documents her lawyer just filed in her divorce case.
TMZ broke the story … Zooey just filed for divorce from her hubby of 2 years — Ben Gibbard, the lead singer of Death Cab for Cutie.
For some reason, her lawyer attached Zooey’s income and expense declaration.
Here’s the lowdown:
– Zooey — who stars in “New Girl” — makes an average of $95,000 a month
– Her expenses average $22,550 a month
– She has 3 credit cards … AmEx, Visa and Mastercard, all of which have a 0 balance.
– She has $1,578,000 in the bank
– Zooey has an additional $1,645,000 in stocks, bonds, etc.
– Zooey has real and personal property valued at $693,300
As for what she spends a month, Zooey says she drops $1,000 on groceries and household supplies, $500 eating out (really?), $800 on utilities, $300 for her various phones and email accounts, $600 in laundry and cleaning, $2,000 for clothes.
She also donates $1,500 a month to charity.

So did Zooey mean to make all this public or was it a mistake by her lawyer? I wonder if she’s going to have to pay out the nose to her ex. Death Cab for Cutie is well known, but not many musicians are rolling in it.
Do you guys ever watch Suze Ormon’s show? I download her CNBC podcast, and she helps people go through their finances to see if they’re on track for their retirement and goals. It’s all about saving for a rainy day and earning more than you spend. That’s what these financials from Zooey brought to mind, because Suze would give her high marks for saving her money. Even though Zooey is wildly rich to most of us, look at how people like Lindsay Lohan have squandered small fortunes living at high end hotels and buying designer goods. It’s just nice to hear about a celebrity who appreciates what she has, doesn’t live above her means, and donates to charity. It kind of solidifies my high opinion of her. She may act somewhat ditzy and precious, but she has a good head on her shoulders. I would love to hear about a new romance for Zooey, preferably with someone like Joseph Gordon Levitt who is doing well in his own right and isn’t interested in her cash. I doubt she’d spend it on some guy anyway.

Back in August, Emma Roberts confirmed to Just Jared that she was giving up Hollywood for college. Sarah Lawrence College, to be exact – Sarah Lawrence is totally elite and private and a lot of really cool ladies have graduated from SLC. So I was happy for Emma! I generally think she?s a smug little brat, but I appreciated that she was at least attempting to get some experiences that didn?t involve red carpets, shopping and talking about her Aunt Julia. However, I also ended my post with ?Anyway, what are the odds Emma is just doing this to look brainy and intellectual and then she?ll be out of there as soon as she?s offered some parts?? Yep. I was right. Emma is ?deferring? SLC after one whole semester.
Sarah Lawrence College will be without its most famous co-ed this semester — Emma Roberts is deferring.
“She is taking time off to shoot two films,” Roberts’ rep tells Us Weekly.
The Scream 4 star and English lit major began her freshman year in September 2011.
When Us spoke to Roberts in November, the 20-year-old actress admitted she struggled to balance her busy schedule.
“It’s a lot,” Roberts admitted. “It’s more the traveling that’s the hard part, the going back and forth. I was just in L.A. and now I’m here in New York, and now I have to go back to L.A.”
What made Roberts decide to pursue higher education? “I just wanted to get away from everything for awhile and try something new, explore some other stuff,” she said.
Roberts — who’s still dating Glee’s Chord Overstreet — is slated to begin filming Spring Break (opposite Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez and James Franco) in early March.

Well, she put in a good effort? No, I can?t even say that. One semester isn?t a ?good effort.? She was there, at most, from mid-August to mid-December. I bet she?s been on film sets longer than that. Here?s an honest question I have about Young Hollywood: do any of them understand the value of taking time out from the Hollywood Race to actually go have some ?normal? experiences for several years? I get that they?re told (by their agents, by casting directors, by the voices inside their heads) that if they leave for a year, no one will remember them. But here?s another voice – it?s not like any of these young actors are turning in award-worthy work, you know? It?s not like they?re ?deferring? college to do important films. Maybe the Fanning sisters. MAYBE. Other than that, it?s just a bunch of, like, Disney kids who don?t want to leave the party.
PS? As I was looking through the photos we have of Emma, I noticed the strangest thing – she was, like, never in school last semester. She was photographed at parties, shopping, fashion shows, medical appointments, getting juice or coffee, all in Manhattan and LA. Dear Emma: All of this crap will still be there after you finish school.

Taking press duties to the Spanish capital city, "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" co-stars Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara attended the film's Madrid premiere on Wednesday evening (January 4).
With director David Fincher also in attendance, the "Nightmare on Elm Street" actress was aglow at the Callao cinema venue while the "Dream House" hunk worked the arrivals area alongside his lovely actress wife, Rachel Weisz.
As for future plans for the franchise film, a Sony representative told Entertainment Weekly it's still on par for a 2013 sequel titled "Girl Who Played with Fire."
Additionally, the company says the Craig and Mara are on board for a third installment under the name "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest."

Looking to be in quite the cheerful mood, a smiling Miley Cyrus was keeping herself busy running errands in Studio City on Wednesday afternoon (January 4).
Joined by a male companion, the "Love Song" starlet sported an old Levi's jean jacket with a Bruce Springsteen T-shirt underneath as the pair made a few purchases at a local shopping plaza.
The sighting comes just after Miss Cyrus came up as a topic of conversation in fellow young star Demi Lovato's Seventeen February cover issue interview.
Talking about her relationship with Miley, Demi dished, ?There were two people [who were there for me]. No matter how many times we fight, we will always be in each others? lives.
