She’s known for her keen fashion sense, so it comes as no surprise that Nicole Richie has been asked to serve as a guest judge in the upcoming season of “Project Runway.”
The 28-year-old will be joining host Heidi Klum, mentor Tim Gunn along with Nina Garcia and Michael Kors for the show’s seventh season premiere on January 14th at 10 pm EST on Lifetime.
“Project Runway” executive producer, Sara Rea says, “Nicole is a fabulous guest judge. She has strong opinions and gives clear and specific constructive criticism to the designers.”
And as previously reported by Gossip Center, Richie is also developing a potential ABC sitcom in which she would star and produce.

Asking thousands of women aged 18 and over, the general trend seemed to make clear that voluptuous figures are becoming the ideal look.
With Miss Winslet placed atop the poll while Miss Berry closely behind, with third place going to fellow curvaceous cutie, Beyonce Knowles.
Other gorgeous gals to make the recent survey include Megan Fox and Lily Allen, while skinny stars such as Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss came in at the bottom of the list.

The former “Melrose Place” actress was looking stylish in a wintertime ensemble with a matching derby hat as she headed over to the Ambassador Theatre.

Brad brought Pax and Maddox to Dave and Busters, which was the second time (we know of) that Maddox got to go. There are actually photos of Pax smiling as they leave! I?m sure Pax smiles all the time, but he?s the Jolie-Pitt child who looks most terrified of the paparazzi, so it?s nice to see him enjoying himself out in public. Oh, and Brad?s brother Doug and Doug?s son joined them too! It’s a boys’ day out for Brad Pitt and sons Maddox and Pax!
The star, 46, and his younger brother Doug took the two boys to Dave & Buster’s in New York City’s Times Square Wednesday afternoon, UsMagazine.com confirms. (Pitt took Maddox to the same Dave & Busters back in September.)
While at the arcade restaurant, Pitt helped Pax, 6, with the controls on “The Big One,” an oversized crane used to grab stuffed animals. After several attempts, they won a giant stuffed animal.
The group — surrounded by four security guards — then moved on to war game “Razing Storm.” Pax and Maddox, 8, took hold of the life-size guns and shot at the arcade screen for a few minutes before moving on.
While the bearded Pitt watched them play, an eyewitness tells Us he handed out extra Dave & Buster’s game cards to a few children. One boy jumped up and down in excitement when the star gave him the card and patted him on the back, the source says.
When a crowd began gathering, Pitt, Doug and the kids got in an elevator to leave. As the doors closed, one onlooker yelled out, “I love Jennifer Aniston!”
Although Pitt didn’t look amused, his brother Doug laughed out loud, an eyewitness says.
Their afternoon out came one day after Pitt was photographed greeting Angelina Jolie with their two daughters, Shiloh, 3, and Zahara, 5. The clan has been braving the 30-degree temperatures in NYC as Jolie finishes several re-shoots of her action flick Salt.

On Wednesday, Angelina was spotted carrying one of her favorite reading materials - a book about foreign policy. Sort of. Previously, Angelina has been spotted reading Richard Haass? book War of Necessity, War of Choice: A Memoir of Two Iraq Wars, and a book party for Nicholas Kristof?s Half the Sky: Turning Oppression Into Opportunity For Women Worldwide. This week?s installment of The Jolie Book Club is Greg Mortenson?s Stones into Schools: Promoting Peace with Books, Not Bombs, in Afghanistan and Pakistan. It?s a book about building girls? schools in Afghanistan, which is cause near to Angelina?s heart.

Here?s the thing - while it wouldn?t surprise me if Brad and Angelina came out for the Globes, which is known as the best awards show of the year because of all the booze, I doubt they?ll come. Brad isn?t nominated, and they usually only show up when one or both of them is nominated. Thus, Angelina parade of glittery sack dresses during the last awards season. And beyond all that, the showdown already happened at the last Oscars, and it was just sad for all parties. The “Gossip Girl” actress sprawled out alongside the hotel pool, enjoying a few laughs with her companions after having performed at the opening of Klutch nightclub the previous evening.
Meanwhile, Miss Meester will be making her way to Atlantic City to ring in 2010, as her band is playing a gig at the Dusk Club.
