Lindsay Lohan has seemingly decamped to London for a nice, long extended stay. Good. Let Londoners deal with her crack shenanigans for a while. I mean, I?m sorry, London. Sucks for you guys. Lindsay was out and about this weekend, hanging out backstage at G-A-Y nightclub (where Rita Ora was performing), and then stopping by the MYZ Beauty Boutique for what WENN describes as ?a relaxing day complete with manicures, food delivery, making friends with the shop dog, and a cigarette break to pose for the cameras.? Sounds about right, except how is she paying for this life of leisure? Word is that she already spent Oprah?s money and then some. I?m assuming Oprah kicked her out of the OWN-rented condo as well. So maybe that?s why LL is thinking about making this trip to London more permanent.
Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is set to swap her wild New York nights for a potentially more lucrative life in London.
Lindsay, 27, has been searching for the perfect property on a trip to the capital, during which she has split her time between The Dorchester hotel and a private residence in North London.
?Lindsay prefers the way people in London treat her,? a friend said. ?Here she is a big star as opposed to a trashy party girl, which is how people in the US see her. She also knows that she could make more money here from personal appearances. She?s more in demand in London than she is in the US.?

For shame, Britons. For shame. I?d be willing to bet that British people and Americans can both agree that Lindsay is a total cracktastrophe, but that?s a good point about her appearance fee. I get the feeling that whenever LL needs money, she does go overseas ? most legit American companies are tired of her stupid drama, plus being associated with LL isn?t something most clubs or brands want at this point. We?ll see how she does in England. I?m particularly interested in hearing more about this ?private residence in North London.? Some wealthy sugar daddy? Ugh.

Maleficent marks the first time Angelina Jolie has been in front of the camera in four years, since 2010?s The Tourist. I have missed her. Hollywood has missed her. But she hasn?t missed being in front of the camera, like, at all. At the age of 38, Angelina is mostly done with starring in films, at least according to her. While promoting Maleficent in London last week, she told reporters that her acting career is ?going to be taking more of a back seat.?
Angelina Jolie was in London promoting her new film Maleficent, which explores the untold story of Disney’s iconic villain from the classic Sleeping Beauty.
Joined at a press conference by her co-star, Elle Fanning, she revealed that stories play an important everyday role in the Jolie-Pitt household. She explains that she makes up her own tales for her children, and likes to tell them stories every night, often involving them as characters.
She adds that “the side of fairytales I don’t like is that they tend to have these happy endings, or there’s just good and evil and things are perfect. I like to think that when there’s a good story for children it has a good sense of moral tale, and I think that’s what I try to teach my kids, and it’s what we tried to do with this film.”
When asked about where acting fits as a priority alongside being a mother, telling stories, directing and working with the UN, she says, “it’s going to be taking more of a back seat. I’ve had a wonderful career and I’m going to be taking all of the opportunities I’ve had to tell stories and work for as long as I have. I’m sure there’ll be a few more films, but I’m happy I’m able to be selective and have fun with characters like this. I would like to focus more on writing and directing, and above all I would like to focus more on my work with the UN.”

If this were another actress, I would be rolling my eyes. I actually had to fight the impulse just now, and I LOVE Angie. Angelina gets offered some of the best projects in Hollywood, the lead roles in major, expensive films. She?s turned down so many interesting, award-winning projects in the past five or six years, like Silver Linings Playbook and Gravity. And she?s given that up to write, direct, plus be a mom and a humanitarian? While I admire her choices and the fact that she actually DOES something while most people just talk about it, I still miss seeing her in films, in front of the camera. I wish she wasn?t so ?over it.?

Here are some photos from The LA Gay & Lesbian Center’s Annual An Evening With Women in Beverly Hills this weekend. Evan Rachel Wood showed up to the event looking like this! Dramatic hair change, huh? That?s been going around lately. The last time I saw Evan, she was a redhead at the Vanity Fair Oscar party. I think so much of ERW?s beauty, and I believe that she has that Cate Blanchett-quality where she can pull off very diverse looks. Not only that, ERW can pretty much wear anything and, much like La Blanchett, she still looks regal. So, while I?m not crazy about ERW?s new hair, I have to admit? it doesn?t even look bad. She?s close to pulling it off.
Anyway, at the event, Evan sang with 4 Non Blondes, and she talked about coming out as bisexual. In a recent interview, Evan discussed how she was publicly ?shamed? by people who thought she should be either gay or straight: ?People like things black and white. It’s less scary. Grey areas make people uneasy. I also wanted to inspire people to be who they are. Maybe help another struggling terrified 12 year old know it’s ok. And I didn’t want to feel like I had to hide the women in my life.”
By the way, do you realize that her son with Jamie Bell is nine months old and we still don?t know the kid?s name? That?s unheard of in celebrity circles.
