Spoke fondly about the experience shooting with James. ?It was amazing. I shoot with him so often for Victoria?s Secret that he is like a family member to me. I love him and trust him fully,? said Aldridge in a black Donna Karan gown. ?Shooting something like this felt very comfortable and easy. We had fun with it because it wasn?t for something specific?it was just a fun shoot to do. I didn?t even think it was going to be a book, but it naturally just became one.?

Braving the nasty summer storm looming overhead, Keira Knightley showed up at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival on Wednesday night (September 10) to premiere her new flick ?Laggies.?
The ?Love Actually? actress got all gussied up in a Michael van der Ham dress as she headed over to Roy Thomson Hall, however the wind and rain definitely took its toll on her usually flawless presentation.
After the crowds began shouting, ?Beyonce!? in reference to the wind effect on her hair, Keira told press, ?I?m like, ?Look, I?m not Beyonce.? I?m wearing Michael van der Ham and I haven?t done him any justice! Oh, my God! The elements! The elements! I think the tent is about to collapse! This is fun right? Are we having fun??
?Laggies? also stars Chloe Moretz, Sam Rockwell and Ellie Kemper and is slated to hit theaters on October 24th. Per the synopsis, ?A woman stuck in permanent adolescence lies to her fianc about going on a retreat and spends the time hanging out with friends instead.?

Bidding farewell to her Australian fans, Hilary Duff arrived at Sydney Airport to catch a departing flight on Thursday (September 11).
While making her way through the terminal, the ?Lizzie McGuire? starlet stopped to take a selfie with a loyal follower before scurrying off to her gate.
Earlier this week, Hilary hinted at a reconciliation with her estranged husband Mike Comrie while also weighing in on Aaron Carter?s continued professions of love.
She explained, "I keep seeing that, that he keeps doing that. I don?t know how I feel. I mean, that was so long ago, and obviously I?m still married, and I have a baby and we kind of just ? Yeah, don?t know each other ? so ? yeah."
When the interviewer said, ?It was weird,? Duff laughed and replied, ?You said it, not me!?

I was so obsessed with Benedict Cumberbatch this week that I sort of forgot to cover Keira Knightley?s fashion for the most part ? her (fug) Dolce & Gabbana dress barely got a mention the other day. But Keira was really bringing the fashion p0rn to TIFF this week, and it?s worth discussing. First off, we have this lovely navy Michael van der Ham dress that she wore last night to the (very windy) carpet for Laggies. I would like to see this dress on a less windy carpet, because I imagine it hangs beautifully. Keira likes intricate, beaded, frothy fashion, and the details on this dress are gorgeous. Great color for her too.
Two nights ago, she wore this Chanel cocktail dress to the TIFF premiere of The Imitation Game. I think this is my favorite! Lately I?ve been kind of hating Chanel stuff because it looks too overworked, but I love this. So chic.
And Keira wore this Stella McCartney dress at some point yesterday. You know how I feel about Stella McCartney?s designs. But I have to say, this isn?t flat-out terrible. I want to edit it a little bit, maybe take off that last bottom ruffle to get it to look cleaner. The belt seems to bring the look together rather well though.

Wow, this is the best Jennifer Aniston has looked in months, right? Good timing too. These are photos of Aniston at the Cake photocall at TIFF on Tuesday. Her navy and black dress is Sportmax ? much better than the LBD from the other day, but still? this Sportmax dress isn?t flat-out awesome or anything. But I?m still saying that this is the best she?s looked in a while. She?s tan not orange, she looks fit and toned, her face doesn?t look Botoxed or anything. Her hair isn?t even annoying me. Great appearance!
As for the reviews? Cake has been very well-reviewed this week. Some sites are saying that Aniston could have a place on the shortlist for a Best Actress Oscar, but I?m not seeing it. Maybe that?s my knee-jerk opinion of Aniston, or maybe it?s because after years of reading stuff from her press machine, I can see when something is being strangely overhyped. Take this People Magazine write up:
She’s been called America’s sweetheart, but Jennifer Aniston swept into the Toronto International Film Festival with a warts-and-all star turn that got her a standing ovation ? and immediate awards buzz. In Cake, Aniston, 45, plays a woman suffering from addiction, rage issues and suicidal depression after a tragic accident leaves her scarred inside and out. It’s hardly the romantic comedy she’s known for.
With greasy hair, no makeup and a fire she’s never before displayed on screen, Aniston gives a riveting performance that brought the film festival audience to its feet at its Toronto premiere Monday.
“It’s awesome and liberating to let that all go,” Aniston said of her makeunder for the role. “And see yourself looking like that on a 50-foot screen.”
Aniston ? who’s engaged to fellow actor Justin Theroux ? talked of moving stiffly and with great discomfort, aided by a back brace, to play a woman suffering from chronic pain caused by a car accident. If it looked painful, it’s because she was in pain, she says, adding, “But I’m back now ? it took a while.”
She also said she spent time with a close friend and stunt double, who became addicted to prescription drugs after a boating accident, to prepare for the part.
The film, directed by Daniel Barnz, costars Adriana Barraza, Sam Worthington and Anna Kendrick, and it was warmly received at Toronto’s historic Elgin theater.
“Oh my God, that’s so sweet,” said a visibly moved Aniston, looking radiant in a short black cocktail dress and nothing like her character, to an audience member who lauded her bravery for playing a character who is unattractive inside and out.
Barnz called her “the most courageous actress I know” for leaving her vanity behind.

?The most courageous actress I know?? Hyperbole, how does it work? Aniston is literally the most courageous actress EVER for wearing some prosthetic scars on her face and skipping the mascara. I tend to think it?s insulting ? people act like ?Aniston without makeup? = bridge troll. She?s a perfectly attractive woman and she doesn?t look that different without makeup.
Jen also spoke to E! about how ?liberating? it was to do a less glamorous role and how she was able to wander around a Target one night with no one recognizing her because she was in her character?s clothes ? go here to read that story. No disrespect in general, because seriously, Aniston?s fans have been begging her to do this kind of serious, unglamorous role for years now. So, I say let the fans have their moment. Let them believe that Aniston will make the Oscar shortlist. Bless them. As of Wednesday night, Cake still didn?t have an American distributor. Just FYI.

Singer Aaron Carter and Hilary Duff, both 26, dated when they were teenagers, from about 2001 until 2003. A quick glance at Aaron’s wiki reveals that he cheated on Hilary with Lindsay Lohan in early 2003, but that he got back with Hilary afterwards before they ultimately split later that year. (To be fair, Lohan was somewhat sober-ish and had a promising future at that point, which she gradually pissed away.)
After Hilary announced early this year that she was separating from her husband, Mike Comrie, Aaron made a series of tweets attempting to get her attention. He retweeted one of her selfies, calling her flawless, and then bemoaned the fact that he lost the love of his life. He also claimed that he would “spend the rest of my life trying to better myself for her.” When someone asked him if he was referring to Hilary, he tweeted that he was. Okay…

Above is a photo of Liv Tyler, 37, out with her British boyfriend, Dave Gardner, on August 15. Gardner is a good friend of David Beckham’s and co-starred with him in the documentary David Beckham Into The Unknown. He was said to be dating Kelly Brook this last December.
Multiple sources have confirmed to E! that Liv is expecting. She was photographed in billowing clothing while vacationing in Spain with Gardner and her son Milo, 9, at the end of August. Milo’s dad is British musician Royston Langdon of the band Spacehog. Here’s the news from E!
The 37-year-old Leftovers actress is expecting her second child, E! News has confirmed with multiple sources. (Tyler’s rep did not comment on the baby news.) Tyler already has 9-year-old son Milo William Langdon from her previous marriage to British musician Royston Langdon. Tyler and Langdon split up in 2008 after five years of marriage.
Tyler’s pregnancy follows news that she’s dating David Beckham’s good friend Dave Gardner. The cute couple has been spotted out and about together multiple times recently. Just last month, Tyler and Gardner were spotted holding hands in London as they left a pal’s birthday party. And several days after their PDA spotting, the lovebirds jetted off to Formentera, Spain, for a romantic vacation where they were snapped kissing and cuddling. Too cute.
A source told E! News in August that Tyler and Gardner had “been seeing each other for three months or so” after reportedly having been set up by supermodel and mutual pal Kate Moss.
“They get on very well and are really enjoying spending time together,” the source added of the couple. “He flies to New York mostly to see her and they feel very comfortable together.”
“He is very charismatic and a real gentleman and she appreciates that about him,” the insider said.
Meanwhile, Gardner has two children with his English actress ex Davinia Taylor, whom he was married to from 2003 to 2010.

I have to hand it to Star Magazine, they called Liv’s pregnancy in their last issue. They said she was covering up her stomach on vacation and that she could be pregnant. We have some photos from that trip below, and she does look somewhat pregnant there. Just Jared has more photos, and in one the wind is blowing her dress around her stomach and you can definitely tell. She was also photographed out recently looking bumpy.
In the Star article from last week, they claimed that Liv and Dave have been together for two months. E! had it at three in August, so with the benefit of the doubt they’ve been together four months tops. That’s not enough time to get to know someone enough to decide to have a baby with them! I hope it all works out, I hope they’re very happy together, but they just tarted dating and Liv is pregnant enough to be showing already. I worry about her.

Rihanna has done it again. She’s made me write about her with only photos to talk about and no real news. This is a gorgeous editorial for Germany’s Tush magazine (which I’d never heard of and has nothing to do with tushies). She was photographed by Steven Gomillion and Dennis Leupold, who are RiRi’s occasional personal photos. They’ve taken many of her vacation photos. It must be cool to take vacations in exotic locales and not have to worry about taking good pictures. Ah, the life.
These pictures are simply stunning. Rihanna’s wearing a silver wig and manages to not look ridiculous. Some people are comparing her look to Storm from X-Men. That’s an oversimplification, I think. These photos are futuristic, apocalyptic, and angelic all at the same time. Kind of like a vengeful warrior queen who chooses to be merciful at whim. Rihanna would be a very bad angel, wouldn’t she?
I’m completely drawn in by this shoot and terribly jealous at how Rihanna can wear anything and look good. She owns every scrap of fabric that she’s ever worn. The makeup is so fierce here! Rihanna would slay the competition if there was any. Between this and Rih’s recent wild W shoot, she’s killing the editorials this year. Nuclear winter, man.

I?ve sort of come out on the other side on George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin?s engagement and the flurry of nonsensical reports about how loved-up they are. I used to just feel bewildered and disconcerted by how out of character all of this was. Now I?m just sitting back and enjoying it. It?s crazy and it will get even crazier if and when they finally do get hitched, which is maybe two weekends away. In the meantime, E! News reports that George and Amal had another lovey-dovey outing this week:
The love is definitely in the air for George Clooney and his bride-to-be Amal Alamuddin.
After gushing about his fiance at the Celebrity Fight Night Gala over the weekend, Clooney and his future wife went out for an “intimate” Italian dinner date at Harry’s Bar on Tuesday night.
An eyewitness tells E! News that the couple were “all smiles as they made their way inside the restaurant and looked very much in love” as they cozied up to each other at one point. “Amal showed off her huge engagement ring as the pair shared a romantic moment,” the insider added, noting that they were there for a couple of hours and that George frequents Harry’s often while in Italy.
The pair made their first red carpet appearance over the weekend, and their romantic evening out on the town was overflowing with PDA.
Clooney gushed about his lady while giving a speech at the event, telling the crowd, “I’ve met my bride-to-be in Italy and I will be married in Italy soon, in a couple of weeks. In Venice of all places! In closing, I guess what I would like to say is to my bride-to-be, Amal, that I love you very much and I can’t wait to be your husband.”
A guest told E! News, “She seemed so touched and overwhelmed and at that moment they looked right at each other and it was as if there was no one else in the room.”

Who is providing these sappy quotes to media outlets? Is it George?s publicist? Or is it the gossip zeitgeist, that George ?has changed? and Amal is The One? And she adores her Sexiest Man Alive, The Forever Bachelor as well? ?it was as if there was no one else in the room.? Barf.
Also ? there are reports that George and Amal?s Venice wedding with just include about 60 people. 60 people plus Anna Wintour and the Vogue photographers, I?m hoping. Us Weekly says that they’ll do the civil ceremony this Friday in London, then on September 27th, they’ll do a bigger (but exclusive) wedding party at Venice’s Hotel Cipriani. So far the guest list does not include Brangelina, Matt Damon or Ben Affleck but does include Cindy Crawford, John Krasinski and Julianna Margulies.
