They are easily the most talked about couple since announcing their engagement in October, and now sources reveal new details about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's extravagant wedding.
According to US Weekly, the couple plans to exchange vows during a royally themed ceremony at the Palace of Versailles in France.
"Kanye has never been married and wants a big [wedding]," an insider close to the 36-year-old rapper stated to the publication. "They are not working with a budget."
On the other hand, another source told E! News that the rumors are "absolutely false."
"They haven't even decided on a location yet," the rep declared.

Keri Russell woke up at 3 am this morning to the calming sounds of burglars rummaging through the upstairs of her NYC townhouse. She went to see what the commotion was and discovered her living room window and front door open. The burglars had already escaped by then and made off with a Filson handbag, a laptop and a necklace.
Police arrested a father/son burglar team a few blocks away breaking into another house. They’re looking at them as possible suspects.
See? They made too much noise. That’s why when I sneak into a celebrity’s house, I make sure to hide in their closet until they leave for work. That way I’ll have ample time to steal their underwear to sell on eBay.

George Clooney covers the new issue of Esquire UK, I guess this is the January issue. Again, he?s promoting The Monuments Men, which comes out in February (just in time with Gravity?s Oscar push?). I have to say, George?s recent spate of interviews (American Esquire, W Mag) has been enormously pleasurable for me. George is usually a good interview, but this is the first time in years that he?s doing a big publicity roll-out without a girlfriend/rent-a-date by his side. I feel like Single Clooney talks more smack than usual. Maybe he?s just morphing into a crotchety old dude, or maybe he just doesn?t give a crap. Whatever is happening, it?s making for some good quotes. Some highlights from the Esquire piece:
He?s surprised to be single again: ?I am surprised, yeah. But I?m surprised by almost everything that?s happened in my life. I?m surprised I don?t live in Kentucky and sell insurance, too. I mean, I really am.?
On marriage: ?I haven?t had aspirations in that way, ever. I was married in 1989. I wasn?t very good at it. I was quoted as saying I?ll never get married again pretty much right after I got divorced and then I?ve never talked about it since.?
On fatherhood: ?’What do you do? Should I go, ?I got to get me some kids right now!? and rush out and impregnate someone? Look, what I do know is that I was raised in a loving, happy family. I don?t have any dislike or distrust of that.?
Fame, self-promotion: ?Not that I?m comparing myself to Clark Gable or whoever but they couldn?t survive in this environment. They?d punch the s–t out of some people. It requires a kind of Zen quality. There?s a funny thing about fame. The truth is you run as fast as you can towards it because it?s everything you want. Not just the fame but what it represents, meaning work, meaning opportunity. And then you get there and it?s shocking how immediately you become enveloped in this world that is incredibly restricting.?

?Anyone who is famous? is an important caveat, I suppose. George isn?t saying all Twitter users are stupid, I guess, just the famous people on Twitter. In all honesty though, I?ve grown to love celebrity Twitter feeds. They?re a wonderful insight into what celebrities are really like and what they find important. Celebrity Twitter feeds get a bad rap when they?re abused by people like Rosanne Barr and Ashton Kutcher, but many celebrities seem to use them appropriately, to interact with fans, directly confirm or deny rumors and to promote their work. I would imagine George, as a master of pith, would actually be good at Twitter. He would be the kind of person who would tweet lots of photos of his dog and re-tweet political news feeds. Just my take.

Katy Perry attended last night’s UNICEF Snowflake Ball wearing a shiny red halter dress and a carpet cape. This is Naeem Khan, by the way, and the entire outfit is a bit too much for even overly dramatic Katy to handle on a red carpet. The lighting is terrible here, so maybe the dress isn’t as bad as it appears in these photos. The color is very rich and gorgeous. Katy did change outfits (into a leopard-print dress that truly works) for her performance, and you can see that dress here.
Katy has just been named a goodwill ambassador for the organization, and she says the following about her first trip: “You know I was going through a transition in my life where I felt like I had been suppressed and emotionally toyed with – and like I went there, and I was like, I have nothing to compare my situation to.” Once again, everything comes back to her divorce from Russell Brand. Oh well. Katy plans to do one UNICEF trip per year, so some good will come of this. Kids love her.
Katy should have gone for a simple updo with this elaborate dress. Her makeup looks fine by Katy standards. I’m not sure what she doing with the “praying” hand gesture.
Angie Harmon let her hidden freak fly in this Angel Sanchez dress that exposed so much sideboob I thought I was looking at a lad mag. Whoa, Angie! It’s always the ones you least suspect, you know? From the front, this gown was deceptively demure with a ruffled bodice atop a flowing skirt. Then — bam! — major sideboob at an event geared towards humanitarian efforts for children. So wrong.
Christina Ricci is usually one of my favorites at any event, and she looked really great here from the waist up. There’s just too much going on here with the tri-colored bodice and a safari-print skirt. I would prefer the bodice and waist with a simpler skirt. Check out the close-up of her impeccable makeup.
Katie Couric looked fantastic in a gold dress with a mermaid train. Everything about her look is perfect.

Claire Danes covers the new issue of Glamour, as I covered yesterday. This is ?Part 2? of our coverage, because I came across these additional quotes from Claire?s interview hours after I had written up the first post, and I thought these quotes were worth discussing. Claire talks about feminism and self-identifying as a feminist and the inequities of Hollywood. I agree with her, for what it?s worth, but I realize that many of you will think that she should turn in her Feminist Card after she ran off with Billy Crudup when he was involved with a very pregnant Mary-Louise Parker. Can one still be a feminist and make a terrible relationship/sex mistake?
Claire?s feminism: ?I am a feminist. And I?m so glad that [Girls creator and star] Lena Dunham exists, because she is one too, and she?s quite vocal about it. Yes, women have more freedom and more influence than ever, but it?s hardly equal. It?s just not. It?s really f–king crazy. I?m sorry I?m cursing. But it?s wild that women are underrepresented [in Hollywood]. I have real anxiety about directing, and that?s something to question and challenge and correct.?
On her ?cry face?: “I think people are made uncomfortable by uncensored expressions of emotion. But, you know, that’s my job. I don’t have those fears. I really have never been concerned about being beautiful on-screen. That’s just not my jam. I’m concerned about it if I’m playing a beautiful character. But it’s not relevant for Carrie. I don’t need to worry about that, and I think that’s really great. I love sitting in the makeup trailer and getting my makeup done in 15 minutes as opposed to an hour and a half.”

As I said, I?m fine with her feminism. I like that she acknowledges that women do have a lot of power and influence right now? but that it?s still not equal. I think Claire is more of a ?Lean In? feminist, right? Which means that we can?t judge her feminism against her choices in her personal life? Again, can one be a feminist in one?s career and make a douchebag relationship choice in your 20s? I think you can.
Interestingly enough, the part that really, really annoys me is her answer to the ?cry face? question. She sounds incredibly defensive and no, we?re not teasing her because all of us are cold, emotionless statues who can?t deal with our feelings. We tease Claire about her cry-faces because she?s an ugly crier and it?s funny. Imperfections are wonderful, Claire. You?re enormously talented and very pretty, but when you cry, many of us giggle because your cry faces are hilarious. Keanu handled his Sad Keanu meme with humor and grace, you should try that.

This is the most unpleasant story of the day (for me). First, some background: Liam Neeson is the father of two teenage sons, Michael and Daniel. Their mother was the late (great) Natasha Richardson. Since Natasha?s passing in 2010, Liam has done a wonderful job of keeping his sons out of the spotlight and for all we know, they are just normal New York kids. Enter the Cracken. Lindsay has been on a ?cougar? jag for the past year or so, dating a series of barely-legal young men. Her last ?boyfriend? was 19 years old. And her new boyfriend might be 18-year-old Michael Neeson. I hate the world right now.
Premature cougar Lindsay Lohan has moved on from a younger man to an even younger one. After dating 19-year-old model Liam Dean, sources say the 27-year-old actress is cozying up to Liam Neeson?s 18-year-old son, Michael.
The two were spotted Friday partying at hot spot Finale, where spies tell us they snuck off to the women?s bathroom together at one point.
Page Six reported in October that Lohan was seeing Dean, a hunk signed with Red Model Management, after the two were spotted partying at 1Oak. She was also linked to teenage Ralph Lauren model Morgan O?Connor.
Now, the troubled actress, who completed rehab this summer, has moved on to Michael, son of late actress Natasha Richardson and Neeson and grandson of Vanessa Redgrave.
A source said: ?Lindsay seems to have this thing for younger men at the moment. They were together at a house party of one of Lindsay?s stylist friends before Thanksgiving, and were together at Finale on Friday. Lindsay was seen leading him into the women?s bathroom, hand-in-hand. The odd thing was that Dean was with them all night, even though Lindsay had been seeing him, too.?
But a rep for Neeson insisted ?it?s not true? that Lohan and the actor?s son are romantically linked. Lohan?s rep told us, ?Lindsay is friends with Michael but they are not dating.?
Liam Neeson recently told the Belfast Telegraph he doesn?t want his kids to get caught up in the acting business. ?You go for an interview for a part and you?re rejected for all sorts of things ? you?re too tall, or too Irish,? the ?Taken? star said. ?It is a hard process to go through and I don?t want my kids to have to feel that.?
Meanwhile, sources say Lohan?s heading to Miami this week for Art Basel, where she?s being pegged as this year?s Demi Moore ? as in the star who shows up to ubiquitously party.
But we?re told it?s highly unlikely Michael?s family would allow him to go to Miami to hang with her.

I don?t really have strong feelings about wedding dresses. I?ve never been married, but when I plan my wedding to Benedict Cumberbatch, I imagine it will be a small affair and I?ll probably wear a very simple white or off-white dress with some kind of fabulous sweater coat, perhaps in grey or light blue. Is this idea terribly offensive to the wedding gown purists?
Well, I have to say ? Keira Knightley seems to agree with me, that a wedding dress should just be a pretty dress and if you want to re-wear it, you should. These are some photos of Keira at a charity event last night in London. This Chanel dress ? which photographs like off-white but is in reality a pale Pink ? is her repurposed wedding dress. She wore this dress (sans the sheer sleeves) to her French country wedding to James Righton last year ? you can see the wedding photos here. This is actually the third time Keira has worn this dress to a major event ? the first outing for the Chanel was back in 2008, to a pre-BAFTA event. Then she recycled it for her wedding, and then again last night.
Is this wedding-gown heresy? I think it?s kind of cool. I like that Keira didn?t, like, go to Vera Wang and have some huge princess gown made for the event. It would have felt un-Keira-like. This is who she is ? a thrifty hipster girl who loves her Chanel party dress so much that she re-wears it often.
PS? James Righton looks super-cute in these photos. I have a growing respect for Keira?s taste in pretty boys now that I?ve seen more of Jamie Dornan and Rupert Friend. Right? She likes ?em pretty and hot.

Kelly Clarkson got married in a quickie ceremony at a remote ranch in Tennessee about six weeks ago. She announced last month that she’s pregnant, so it’s likely that it was a shotgun wedding. I don’t begrudge her that and am not a traditionalist by any means, I’m just giving some background.
Anyway Kelly has been telling everyone how happy she is, and recently gave some TMI about her sex life as a newlywed, saying they were trying for a baby “like rabbits.” She’s also called Brandon’s kids from his first marriage “her kids” in several interviews. It’s been too much, but there’s a lot of goodwill for Kelly and she seems like she’s genuinely happy and just wants to share that with the world. Hopefully that stays true for her. A new story, published in The Dirty from an anonymous source, claims that Brandon is cheating on Kelly, sort-of.
Nik, I wanted to submit this story to you because I didn?t know where else to turn. I like the idea of keeping myself anonymous, whereas any other media outlet would have jumped at publishing my name. I have a career and children to keep safe, so your site was my best option. Short and simple: Brandon has been cheating on Kelly (with me) for the past 5 months. We met at a golf club in TN and have exchanged multiple texts and hung out a few times over the last little while. Because his parents are music royalty, Brandon really thinks he is invincible and better than everyone else. I don?t even know why I?m saying any of this since my story isn?t that juicy. We haven?t slept together but we?ve been intimate in other ways. I really hope his wife keeps her eye on him because he?s not the great man that she thinks he is.

So this woman never says if she specifically had anything physical with Brandon, she’s just suggesting that more happened, and that they had a kind of “emotional affair” – if this is even true. This was an anonymous email sent to a website that probably didn’t do much fact checking. We wouldn’t either, I’m just saying that the whole thing could be made up.
Radar Online got some quotes from Brandon’s first wife, Melissa Ashworth, who says that the claims that he’s a cheater are BS. Apparently a friend of Brandon’s went on the record to claim that he cheated on his ex wife multiple times during their marriage. In her statement to Radar, Ashworth mentioned that her children from Brandon were currently with her, so that answers the question for me as to whether the mother is still in their lives. Maybe Kelly was just being loving when she referred to the kids as “hers” or maybe she was being proprietary. Either way, Brandon’s ex is staying classy. Here’s what she said:
A few months ago, the couple was faced with similar claims when Blackstock?s family friend, Jerry Reed, accused him of ?running around on? Ashworth ?three or four times? during their marriage. The two finalized their divorce in early 2012, months after Blackstock began dating Clarkson.
But Ashworth insists that her ex-husband has never been anything but a model partner and father, and will be the same to Clarkson and their child.
?This is ridiculous ? this silliness,? Ashworth tells Radar exclusively. ?I have my two children [by Brandon] right here, who I love.?
She continues, ?I adore Kelly and Brandon as a couple, so if I say anything it?s going to be positive.?
Blackstock and Clarkson have yet to comment on the rumors.
Clarkson, meanwhile, postponed the overseas promotional tour for her new Christmas album, ?Wrapped In Red,? claiming to be ?incredibly ill? from her pregnancy.

Ashworth doesn’t want to trash the father of her kids to the press and is too smart to burn that bridge. Notice that she didn’t directly answer the question, she deflected and brought up her kids. I would believe that Brandon cheated on his first wife, but whether or not he’s up to something behind Kelly’s back remains to be seen. I hope for Kelly’s sake that this story isn’t true at all. She just got married and she’s expecting her first baby. This would be so low of Brandon if it’s true.
