| Brendan Fraser's sons roast him for his dad jokes | Added 643 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

When Brendan Fraser won Best Actor for The Whale, he grabbed the people behind him so quickly and tightly, I thought the mane of red hair belonged to his on-screen daughter Sadie Sink. I learned minutes later it was his son Leland, who attended the ceremony with his brother Holden to see their dad?s win. Brendan also thanked his oldest son Griffin, who was not at the ceremony. Side-note, I also just learned that Griffin is a redhead as well. Rise up, Ginger Nation! (Said as mother to a ginger son.)
Prior to the ceremony, the boys walked the carpet with Brendan and his girlfriend Jeanne Moore. Kevin Fraiser and Nischelle Turner asked them what it was like having The Mummy as a daddy. Holden and Leland said Brendan?s jokes were as bad as mine. Gen X rents, amirite?
The 95th Academy Awards is a family affair for Best Actor nominee Brendan Fraser, who is celebrating Hollywoods biggest night with his girlfriend, Jeanne Moore, and two children, Holden and Leland Fraser. All four caught up with ETs Kevin Fraiser and Nischelle Turner on the champagne-colored carpet, where Frasers kids shared their fathers best err, worst dad jokes.
At the end of a conversation, well say, Oh yeah, right. And hell say, Left,' Holden offered, while Leland said, I think my personal favorite has always been when were kids and Id say, I dont like broccoli, and hed say, Broccoli loves you.'
While Holden quipped that his dad jokes still dont hit, he admitted that his fathers pretty cool; Ill give him that hes pretty cool.
I mean, hes our old man and hes always been cool. But were always gonna rag on him at least a little, Leland added.
[From ET]
?When were kids and Id say, I dont like broccoli, and hed say, Broccoli loves you.' Hand to Whoever, when I was a kid, I would say ?I don?t like so-and-so,? my dad would reply with, ?So-and-so speaks quite highly of you.? And my father is 32 years older than Brendan. Seriously, do dads receive some kind of handbook in the delivery room we don?t know about? The thing is, I totally buy Brendan Fraser, Dad Joke Guy. He looks the part. And those are crap jokes, Leland and Holden are right to hold his feet to the fire about them.
But what I?m hearing and what we saw on Sunday was a lot of joy from Brendan and his family. And that?s a beautiful thing, given the road he was forced to till to get there. As I have said before, I wish it had been another film that put Brendan?s career back in the spotlight, but at least he is back. And now he?s Academy Award winner Brendan Fraser and will hopefully get the work he deserves.
Can we love Ke Huy Quan any more?

| Kylie Jenner wore Maison Margiela to the VF Oscar party: cute or too stiff? | Added 644 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Call me crazy, but I like the fact that the Kardashian-Jenners regularly come out for the Vanity Fair Oscar party. I don?t want to see them at the Oscars, mind you, but it?s fine and even fun to see them dressed up at the VF party. Kylie and Kendall came out for this year?s VF Oscar party and both of them put some thought into their looks. Kylie wore Maison Margiela Couture a custom piece while Kendall wore a vintage (2008) Jean Paul Gaultier. No joke, I love Kendall?s dress. She looks great here. Kylie?s dress just looks too stiff.
Gigi Hadid in Zac Posen. Awful! It reminds me of Chloe Sevigny?s quip about Gwyneth Paltrow complaining about the Met Gala: ?maybe her sleeves were too tight.? Like, this isn?t a party dress because of the sleeves.
Sienna Miller in Fendi. A weirdly lowkey look. Granted, she hasn?t been in-our-faces for years now, but this is shockingly subdued.
Jon Hamm and Anna Osceola, who are newly engaged. She? reminds me a bit of Jennifer Westfeldt, his former partner. They?re not twins or anything, but I do think he has a physical type. I like the black-and-white coordination, that?s all I?ve got.

| Hailey Bieber in Saint Laurent at the VF Oscar party: boring or elegant? | Added 644 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Hailey Bieber turned up at the Vanity Fair Oscar party in Saint Laurent. Two different fabrics, two different shoulders, two different sleeves one gloved, one inexplicably dragging on the floor The latter would drive me crazy. This look is so dramatic, yet somehow still so boring. As is her hair.
Sarah Michelle Gellar wore a beautiful blue floral toile thread work embroidered Oscar de la Renta. Its a great take on a column dress. And the detailing and color are amazing. I love this and she looks like she loves it, which just makes a great look even better. And her eye makeup and earrings match the blue!
Yara Shahidi also popped in red and white Bottega Veneta. She looks like a Valentine in a short column dress and gloves. It looks like the appliqus are flowers and leaves and maybe butterflies? This is a cool look, and also looks like she can move in it. The slicked back hair and subtle makeup work perfectly with the dress. And under the gloves she had a red-tipped manicure.

| Ana de Armas wore a 'stained glass' Louis Vuitton to the VF Oscar party | Added 644 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Ana De Armas changed into this custom Louis Vuitton dress for the post-Oscar parties. I would think that we?re supposed to see ?stained glass windows.? It?s not bad and hey, it does look comfortable. It?s just a slipdress with an interesting fabric. The cutest was when Ana saw Ke Huy Quan on the VF carpet and they gave each other a big hug. From the looks of things, Ana is a big EEAAO stan and she was rooting for all of those actors. Plus, I think everyone who was part of this awards season fell in love with Ke he made everyone smile and he was hugging everybody.

| Tilda Swinton: 'I was told to wear a mask at all times, and I?m not.' | Added 644 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

On film and television productions around the world, ?Covid protocols? became a thing for above-the-line and below-the-line workers. Meaning, there was mandatory Covid testing (usually nasal swabs), there was enforced masking and those Plexiglas helmets to mask actors? whole faces. Some studios even mandated vaccines, which I thought was smart. This was the new reality for everyone throughout 2020, 2021 and 2022. Now that we?re entering the fourth year of pandemic living, should those mask-wearing and testing protocols exist? According to Tilda Swinton, no. Tilda went to South by Southwest to promote her latest movie and she spoke out against? masking??
Tilda Swinton is over the pandemic, and she doesn?t care who knows it. She opened her keynote appearance at South by Southwest by sharing her pleasure that the pandemic had gotten to a point where audience members at the event didn?t have to wear masks anymore. Later in the conversation, Swinton said, ?I?m about to shoot a picture in Ireland, and I was told to wear a mask at all times, and I?m not.?
?I?m sure this is being recorded,? she noted, before saying that she is ?very healthy? after having gone through COVID-19 infections multiple times.
Interestingly, in 2022, Swinton spoke to W Magazine about the severity of one of her infections and the long COVID symptoms she was continuing to endure, including struggles with memory.
[From Variety]
Hilariously, during this same appearance, Swinton hit out on the arrogance and attitude of self-centeredness she sees within the film industry and the importance of ?staying collective.? What says ?for the good of the collective? more than one actress refusing to adhere to public health regulations. ?Salus populi suprema lex esto? = the health of the people is the supreme law. While I realize that most countries have loosened (if not completely removed) their masking, testing and quarantining regulations, that?s not for Swinton to unilaterally decide she?s not going to do it. When in Dublin, follow Irish rules and laws. She sounds so arrogant here.
