She?s no stranger to traveling all over the world, and Victoria Beckham made the trek from London to Paris this morning (May 2).
Joined by her little girl Harper Seven, the fashion guru strolled off the Eurostar in the French Capitol City to visit her hubby David Beckham for his 38th birthday.
Meanwhile, it?s been one of the most-hyped musicals in recent memory but sadly ?Viva Forever!? will have its final curtain next month.
According to a report, the Spice Girls production is slated to close in early June, making for just six months of shows overall.
The ?Wannabe? singers stated, "Although Viva Forever won't continue in the West End, we are thrilled that the thousands of people who came to the show had as much fun as we did."

Katy Perry’s parents are extremely religious but they seemed okay with Katy’s career. The millions she makes and possibly supports them with could be part of the reason. However, when they’re in the company of their religious friends, they have to keep up appearances. That’s why they went all fire and brimstone on Katy and ask people to pray for her.
The pair, who have made millions off the back of their famous daughter, show a video making Katy out to be a ?devil child? who needs ?healing?.
Speaking in Santa Fe Springs, California, Keith ranted: ?They ask how can I preach if I produce a girl who sang about kissing another girl?
?I was at a concert of Katy?s where there were 20,000. I?m watching this generation and they were going at it. It almost looked like church.

Katy?s parents ask for donations, saying they need ?not one or two dollars, but 20s? so they can go to Switzerland.
The article seems to leave out a very important detail. Why do they need to go to Switzerland? Maybe they’re going for religious reasons. People don’t know this, but even God needs a Swiss bank account. The government is killing the big man upstairs with all these taxes.

There are totally worse choices for the ?Sexiest Woman? title. But! There are certainly better choices too, right? The editor of FHM?s ?100 Sexiest? Dan Jude said, ?Not only is [Mila] naturally stunning, but she has a great sense of humour and isn?t afraid to poke fun at herself. Reese Witherspoon gave her first post-arrest exclusive interview to Good Morning America today. So I guess we now know what path Reese is taking (which I laid out earlier this week): Reese is going to try to ?come back? from her arrest immediately, she?s not going to wait a few months. This will probably be the start of Reese?s apology tour. Sort of. The real start was her public statement just after her arrest became public, and continued through last week with some strategic leaks to People Magazine. Now she?s got this GMA interview, and I would imagine there?s a People Magazine cover next week maybe. Or maybe Us Weekly, but probably People. Anyway, here?s Reese?s GMA interview, I?ll have quotes on the other side:

Looking contrite, humbled and wiser for what happened, Reese Witherspoon addressed her arrest two weeks ago at the top of her interview with Good Morning America on Wednesday ? calling it “one of those nights.”
“We went out to a restaurant in Atlanta, and we had one too many glasses of wine,” the Oscar winner and mother of three, 34, said, referring to herself and her husband, agent Jim Toth. After their car, which Toth was driving, was stopped, he was charged with DUI, and she with disorderly conduct.
“We thought we were fine to drive,” she said, “and we were absolutely not, and we are so sorry and just so embarrassed.” She added, “We know better and we shouldn’t have done that.”
Blaming “poor judgment” for not simply calling a cab, Witherspoon said, “We made a mistake, and it was something that will absolutely never happen again.”
The police report noted that Witherspoon did not follow the officer’s orders and she got out of the car, and spoke in abusive language to him.
“I was so disrespectful to him,” the actress acknowledged on GMA. “I have police officers in my family. I work with police officers every day. I know better. It’s just unacceptable.” (Adding a note of levity, she also said, “I played a lawyer in a movie so many times I think I am a lawyer. And clearly I’m not a lawyer, because I got arrested.”)
She explained, “I have no idea what I was saying. That night I saw him arresting my husband, and I panicked. I said all kinds of crazy things. I said I was pregnant.” The actress flashed a look of amazement, then said, “I’m not pregnant. I said crazy things. I had no idea what I was talking about.”
Telling her older children about the very public incident, she said, was “the hardest part about it. When you make a mistake, you take responsibility, and we are taking responsibility, and we are doing everything within our power to make it right.”
Among the biggest lessons she learned, she said: “When a police officer tells you to stay in a car, you stay in a car.”

Well, what do you think? I think she?s got the best talking points and argument she (and her PR team) could come up with. How many times did she say ?panic? and ?I don?t know?? She accepted responsibility, she talked about learning her lessons, she acknowledged that there?s no excuse. I came out of this thinking that she might have been blackout-drunk though, especially when she talks about not knowing what she was saying. No offense, but she?s pretty long in the tooth to be getting THAT drunk at what seems like just a night out in Georgia. Anyway, is she forgiven yet? This interview will help, I think.

I was going to make this post about Victoria Beckham and how she got a haircut, but then I saw these photos and now that?s over. OMG OMG OMG Harper Seven deigns to wear baby jeans!! And not just any jeans ? baby skinny jeans!! This is the first time I think I?ve ever seen Harper in jeans or anything kind of sporty and NOT frilly. Did David dress her this morning? Why do I think that David is the one putting Harper in frilly things to begin with? No, I think we have to accept that Victoria decided that today was the day to put Harper Seven in skinny jeans. Harper looks jazzed about it too, doesn?t she?
Anyway, these are pics of Posh and Harper at the Eurostar station in London ? they were traveling to Paris to see David on his birthday, which is today. Happy birthday, Goldenballs! You can?t even see where Posh has had her hair cut, right? She posted photos a few days ago of her hair stylist giving her some kind of rock n roll bob, but I think she?s had extensions put back in?
It’s baa-aack! Victoria Beckham’s Posh bob, aka The Pob, has been revived. The former Spice Girls singer tweeted a shot yesterday of her newly-shorn locks. “Loving the hair! Thank u Tina Outen,” she wrote to her London stylist.
The Pob was Beckham’s signature look during her Spice Girls tenure, but she has most recently sported a more casual L.A.-friendly hairstyle: long, layered tresses. Now that she’s moved to Paris — husband David Beckham signed a new soccer contract with Paris St Germain — perhaps she was feeling a need for more sophisticated ‘do.
This latest reincarnation of her trademark hairstyle seems to be longer than her original Pob, which was chin-length in the front and buzzed shorter in the back. In fact, it may be more like the Karlie, the longish bob named after model Karlie Kloss and declared by the New York Times as the “the haircut of the year.” Other stars who’ve cut their tresses into a similar style this year include Nicole Richie, Naomi Watts, Nikki Reed, Jennifer Lawrence, Felicity Huffman, and Jaimie Alexander.
The mom of four kids spoke on Apr. 28 at the Vogue Festival in London about juggling her busy life and how she’s perceived by others. “I’m nice! Everyone thinks I’m going to be a cow,” she quipped. “I understand it, actually. I think the same when I see the pictures.”

In the midst of her arrest for disorderly conduct last month, Reese Witherspoon went off the handle after seeing her husband Jim Toth in handcuffs.
The ?Legally Blonde? actress and her hubby were pulled over in a suburb of Atlanta, GA for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.
During the chain of events, Reese yelled at the arresting officer, saying, ?Do you know my name?? and ?You?re about to find out who I am,? adding that she was pregnant.
On ?Good Morning America? this morning, Reese recalled the night in her first public interview since that night. ?I saw him arresting my husband and I literally panicked. I told him I was pregnant. I?m not pregnant. I said all kinds of crazy things.?
?It?s just completely unacceptable and we are so sorry and embarrassed,? Witherspoon added. ?I think we made a mistake and it was something that will absolutely never happen again.?
After the couple was pulled over, Toth allegedly appeared intoxicated and smelled like alcohol. He performed a sobriety test and was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and failure to maintain the lane.

Demi Moore seems to be rebuilding her life following her well publicized overdose, and self-imposed exile, after her split with Ashton. She resurfaced last week at an event looking healthy, happy and like she was over Ashton and ready to move on. And move on she has, to another guy who is 18 years her junior, an entrepreneur named Harry Morton. You might remember Harry from his very-public romance with Lindsay Lohan in 2006. We first heard about Demi dating Harry this January, and according to the National Enquirer he recently moved in with her. What’s more is that Harry dated Demi’s oldest daughter, Rumer, briefly in 2007. Why does that not surprise me? She usually dates in her daughters’ peer groups. Here’s more, thanks to the Enquirer:

Well if Rumer was upset at her mom for dating her ex she seems to have made peace with her. Rumer and Demi were spotted together outside a yoga class earlier this week, suggesting that they’ve mended fences. We’ve heard for months that Demi’s daughters aren’t speaking to her, but now that she has her act together maybe they’ve reconciled.
I kind of wish Demi was single at this point. Good for her if she’s happy with Harry, but it would be nice to see her single and thriving. She seems like one of those women who feels incomplete without a man. At least she hasn’t done a bunch of photo ops with him yet.

Gwyneth Paltrow covers the June issue of Glamour UK, and the photoshoot is nothing special. But maybe it doesn?t matter, because it?s just GOOP and Goop changes from interview to interview, always spewing different crap. I think it was just last week when she claimed that she really didn?t want to raise her children in London because of the accents. And in this interview, she?s talking about how much she loves London, blah blah. She also admits that she has a nanny (?so if I need to go to Dubai for Max Factor, then I can?) and that her marriage to Chris Martin is not a bed of roses. Some highlights:
She loves London: ?I love London – it’s my adopted home. Being an American woman living in Britain, there are things I’ve had to catch up on, though. Chris had to explain Blue Peter to me! In London, the kids and I really take advantage of the city. I have them on the tube, in the museums, in St James’ Park, the theatre. I use that city so much – I want them exposed to it.?
Balancing work and motherhood: ?I drive the kids to school, I cook. But I have a nanny, so if I need to go to Dubai for Max Factor, then I can.?
Suffering: ?I?ve had a great deal of suffering in my life. I?ve lost people ? my first cousin, my best friend in a car accident. I?ve had a lot of things happen to me that I don?t talk about in the press. I?ve had a lot of really heartbreaking, difficult things. But all of those things have strengthened my resolve to make the best of my life.?
Marriage problems: ?It?s hard being married. You go through great times, you go through terrible times. We?re the same as any couple. I asked my dad once, ?How did you and Mum stay married for 33 years?? And he said, ?Well, we never wanted to get divorced at the same time?. And I think that?s what happens. When two people throw in the towel at the same time, then you break up, but if one person?s saying, ?come on, we can do this?, you carry on. I?ve learned more about myself by being married than anything else. I hate to say, ?We?ve got it worked out,? because you never know what?s going to happen, but we laugh, we?re good friends, we like to do the same stuff.?
On Chris: “I?m a very grounded, homey person and Chris is a very mad scientist, genius songwriter. So I never say ?Where are you? You should be home by now?. I never place demands on him because I think he?s a really talented man and he?s putting something good into the world.?
Her children: ?Having children changed everything. I used to work all the time, but if you do that, you don?t see your kids, so I look for something that?s interesting, that doesn?t require me to be in every scene and fits in with my children?s school schedule. Having children is a huge responsibility in terms of raising people who will contribute to the world. The people I?ve met who function best in the world are people with good manners, who are curious, who know different places and speak more than one language. So that?s what I?m trying to do.?

Hahaha, Gwyneth considers herself the grounded one!!!! That explains so much about her life, doesn?t it? Gwyneth is always doling out lifestyle advice because she always thinks she?s the sanest person in the room. Do you think that?s true? Granted, Gwyneth is friends with a lot of crazy celebrities, and I suspect she IS ?grounded? compared to, say, Beyonce or Cameron Diaz. But that doesn?t means she IS grounded.

Here are some photos of Katy Perry at the Delete Blood Cancer gala in NYC last night. Katy is wearing Vera Wang, and I think she pulls it off well overall. She looks so good in bold colors, and it’s amazing that Katy has kept one hair color for over six consecutive months at this point. This dress is pretty great too — Katy’s rack isn’t busting out all over the place, her tiny waist is on full display, and I don’t even mind the mermaid tail. Plus, Katy’s makeup doesn’t look as drag-queeny as usual, and these earrings look delicious enough to eat.
That’s as far as the good news goes for this post, however. Katy’s dad, Keith Hudson, is running his mouth again. For several years, Keith and Katy’s mom, Mary, have made a tidy living off their daughter’s name and notoriety, and they travel the globe giving guest speeches at churches while publicizing themselves as “Katy Perry’s parents.” At the same time, they’ve also expressed displeasure over Katy’s choice of career because they wanted her to be a faith healer. A few years ago, Keith even said that Katy was destined to go to hell because she sang about being a fake lesbian. For awhile, Katy managed to get her parents to STFU, but now Keith must need some major money again because he’s calling his daughter a “devil child.” Poor Katy:

Oh for the love of …. this is so messed up. Keith and Mary certainly don’t mind appearing on the red carpet with Katy and soaking up the crowd’s adulation in search of the almighty dollar, do they? With evangelists such as this pair, I always wonder whether they actually believe their own words about needing large donations to truly do their God’s work or whether they give each other congratulatory “high fives” after the show for pulling the proverbial wool over gullible people’s eyes. I tend to think that Katy is, by and large, an overindulged Hollywood brat, but she must be so embarrassed about her parent’s words and actions.

Don’t get me wrong, Miley’s face looks great, but she’s flashing some major crack (don’t worry, it’s blurred out) in one of the editorial shots, and this development comes hot on the heels of Miley’s judgy declaration in Elle UK that “A star is someone who doesn?t have to take her clothes off to be sexy because you naturally have star power.” Oops.
Meanwhile, Miley is still talking up her relationship with Liam in this interview, which leads me to believe that perhaps she gave a lot of publicity while she and Liam were still up in the air. Of course, they’re probably still undecided on the fate of their nuptuals (those crazy kids), but I’m of the opinion that they’re truly on the rocks and just can’t admit it to each other. As such, Miley is making a fool of herself taking about how wonderful her relationship with Liam really is (while he says nothing), and she insists that they just haven’t had the time for a photo op lately because she’s so busy being all about the music (as opposed to Liam being busy making repeat visits to January Jones’ house). Here are some interview excerpts:
On her love life: “I’m not home with my boyfriend all the time. We work. Every week it’s ‘Are they broken up?’ Because we don’t see a photo of them.’ I don’t have time go to Starbucks with my boyfriend every morning. I wish I did, but I don’t. I’d rather chill at my house and be there for the time I actually get to spend with him. And then I’m at the studio all day. He gets up to work out at six and I come home at five from the studio. I put this record before everything, and I’ve never done that with anything. I’ve put too much into this record to put anything else in front of it.”
On her new sound: “I can never say that I don’t love ‘Party in the U.S.A.’ and that I’m not appreciative of it. It would like my dad saying that he hated ‘Achy Breaky.’ It’s what gives you everything that you have. I would never take it back.”
On her changing style: “I’m going to change, I’m going to be different, I’m going to do what I want to do. I chopped my hair and bought a pair of Docs and never looked back.”

Poor Miley. And I’m not even saying that in a facetious manner — I truly think that she believes that her new music will take the entire world by storm when we all know that it will simply be a mediocre affair. Obviously, she and Liam are having problems, and she’s throwing herself into work. There’s nothing wrong with that, of course. Liam will show his true colors sooner or later, and Miley may as well make some headway before that happens. For the record, I hope she proves me wrong and makes some amazing music instead of merely showing her ass crack just like the pop stars that she makes fun of. Miley is better than that even if she doesn’t realize it.

Here are some photos from last night?s NYC premiere of The Great Gatsby. Considering the way this film is already being built up as THE EVENT of 2013 and considering that so many designers did Gatsby-themed lines associated with the film, I really was expecting a more eventful carpet. The fashion is a total snooze, which makes me think that everyone is saving their A-game for Cannes. Hopefully! Anyway, here?s the star of this mess, Carey Mulligan, in Lanvin, a surprising choice for her because she?s such a Prada girl. I initially mistook this for Prada, so I?m glad I looked it up. It?s? okay. Nothing special. Kind of basic. Just FYI: Carey IS a really small woman, but the dress does have a built-in corset, which is making her look even smaller.
Florence Welch in Miu Miu. I really dislike this dress. I ?understand? why she?s wearing it ? because she?s the next big thing in fashion/music/the world ? but it looks like a glittery sailor suit to me. Flo can do better. She was at the premiere because she did some music for the soundtrack, just FYI.
Isla Fisher in Dolce & Gabbana. God, this is boring.
Mamie Gummer in?? I don?t know. I love her, but I hate the shoes.
Nina Dobrev came to the premiere! She wore Versace. She?s one of those women who makes couture look like it came from the mall ? I think it?s because she looks perpetually 16 years old.
Jennifer Morrison in Dolce & Gabbana too. This looks like a too-fussy vintage dress. It also looks like her grandmother?s antique lace tablecloth.

Amanda Bynes has been tweeting selfies for weeks now. She?s also been threatening to sue anyone who writes anything negative about her, and she?s been acting? odd. I?m quite sure she has legitimate mental health issues, but I also think (and perhaps I?m in the minority) that she?s ?playing up? some stuff to get more attention. Anyway, she tweeted the above selfie on Tuesday with the message ?About to put on makeup! I weigh 135, I’ve gained weight! I need to be 100 lbs!? She really does NOT need to lose any more weight. Over the weekend she was also tweeting selfies at the gym (the same gym that kicked her out? Dunno.) and she went OFF on Complex magazine:

Anyway, since Amanda threatens to sue anyone who says anything about her, I thought we could discuss an actual interview she did in the new issue of In Touch Weekly:
The world ? and more than 740,000 Twitter followers ? has watched as Amanda Bynes appears to spin out of control. But in a rare interview in the new issue of In Touch, the 27-year-old actress insists she?s fine and blasts anyone who suggests otherwise.
?I have no clue [why people say I?m insane]. Every time I?ve heard it, it came from an ugly person?s mouth, so I don?t care,? the actress ? who rocks cheek piercings and a tangle of blond hair extensions? exclusively tells In Touch, on newsstands now. ?The only ones lying about me having a mental illness are people I don?t talk to.?
Amanda, who often stays up all night and tweets around the clock, says she has the support of unnamed friends. ?I only have hot friends,? she says. ?They have my back until I die.?
She also knocks down any speculation of issues with addiction: ?I don?t drink. I?m allergic to alcohol,? Amanda tells In Touch. And though photos surfaced of Amanda with what looked to be a joint, the star insists she doesn’t smoke pot? only tobacco.
In recent months, Amanda?s frequent trips to the gym have sparked headlines about her bizarre behavior, from stripping down to her bra in spin class to reportedly smoking in the locker room. But Amanda says she?s focused on getting in shape. ?I?m getting in shape for all the photo shoots.? Amanda tells In Touch. I like being 100 pounds? 21 to go!?
While she ?retired? from acting at the age of 24, Amanda tells the mag she?s financially set. ?I?ll design clothes and sing because I want to, not because I need the money. I love singing and I can?t wait to start working on an album.?

For what it?s worth, I kind of believe that she?s not really drunk or stoned out of her mind, although I?m sure she does smoke pot. I think most of this is just a chemical imbalance or something. Or maybe she?s just a narcissistic famewhore, because that?s the only other option. When you?re dropping lines like ?Every time I?ve heard it, it came from an ugly person?s mouth, so I don?t care.? Somewhere, Dina Lohan is wishing she thought of that.
Incidentally, this is the second interview Amanda has given to In Touch in as many weeks. In last week?s issue, Amanda told the mag that she?s ?in the Mary-Kate and Ashley type of wealth? category. The Olsens are worth a reported $300 million (probably more, actually). Amanda is maybe worth $4 million, if you don?t take into account all of the crazy bills she?s been racking up all over NYC. In Touch says that she?s spent $30,000 in one month ? $11,000 worth of extensions (really?), luxury hotels and endless room service, plus shopping trips at Cartier, etc. Earlier this week, Radar claimed that Amanda wanted access to all of her money, which was invested for her by her parents and her business manager. Amanda has pitched a fit and her parents are apparently helpless.

Stepping out to celebrate the premiere of the newest adaptation of the F. Scott Fitzgerald classic, Tobey Maguire attended the premiere of "The Great Gatsby" at Avery Fisher Hall in NYC on Wednesday (May 1).
The handsome "Spider-Man" star looked his best in a finely-tailored suit, while wife Jennifer stayed close in a black floral-printed dress with high white collar.
Taking Mr. Maguire's role for the audio book will be Jake Gyllenhaal, who will read as the narrator Nick Carraway.
The Baz Luhrmann-directed drama also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, Michelle Williams, Joel Edgerton, Isla Fisher, and Jason Clarke. "The Great Gatsby" hits theaters on May 10th.
