Preparing for a long work week, Jennifer Aniston walked to the set of her new project ?Squirrels to the Nuts? in Manhattan today (July 29).
Sporting denim shorts and a striped top, the ?Friends? actress looked to be in a hurry as she whisked past a few shutterbugs in between scenes.
In a new interview, Aniston clears up all the speculation and rumors regarding her engagement to fianc Justin Theroux.
Jen notes, "We just want to do it when it's perfect, and we're not rushed, and no one is rushing from a job or rushing to a job. And, you know, we already feel married."
"We have yet to set any dates. There have been no canceled weddings. There have been no postponed weddings. There have been no arguments about where to get married. Just clearing all that up."

According to a report, Bethenny?s executive assistant Marilyn has already jumped ship due to her demanding behavior.
An insider told press, ?Marilyn quit after less than a month because Bethenny was so mean to her. Marilyn has a lot of experience working with celebrities and complained she had ?never been treated this badly.? They have been interviewing other assistants, who had to sign nondisclosure agreements and were told not to talk to Bethenny unless she talks to them first. They have interviewed more than 40 people, but she doesn?t like anybody.?

Earlier this year, Gwen told press it was difficult for her to cope when Gavin hit the road with his band Bush, their first tour in a decade.

The ?We Can?t Stop? songstress explained that she actually prefers marijuana to alcohol, noting, ?There?s a reason Bob Marley was like some kind of musical Rasta Mother Teresa!?
Cyrus also took issue with cranky moms and dads who have blasted her for being much racier in her music and videos as of late.
She fired back, ?Parents have to parent their own kid. I?m not a parent for a reason. I?m 20 so I don?t really have to worry about those kind of responsibilities yet. You can?t sit your kid in front of the TV and expect them to learn. You gotta teach them and then, music is just music and that?s it.?

Sure, she’s not entirely at the point she was during her Xtina days — you can still see the fatty inside her pounding on her stomach trying to get to a KFC bucket — but it’s a marked improvement.

I?m assuming Brad and the gang are in Japan to support World War Z, just because? that?s the only film that either of them have released in the past year. So often, it seems like the older girls are the ones who like to travel with both their mom and their dad ? Shiloh and Zahara seem to be the most eager to drop everything and go exploring with one of their parents, so it?s interesting to see a new grouping of Jolie-Pitts. Vivienne and Knox and Pax. Interesting.
While I hate to say this ? because I am still a hardcore Angelina-defender on most things ? I have to admit that Angelina looks much, much too thin. She?s been wearing so much sack clothing over the past year as she went about her double mastectomy and breast reconstruction, so it?s startling to see her in such tight leggings (are those leather leggings?!) and a form-fitting sweater. She looks crazy-small. Her legs are too thin. Again, I hate saying that because we don?t know exactly what?s going on with her, but I really wish she would concentrate on trying to put on some weight.
Knox and Vivienne turned five years old a few weeks ago. Does that make you feel old? Time really flies, doesn?t it?

Last year around this time, there were UK sources claiming that Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin were preparing to move their family to LA. The claim was that Gwyneth was homesick and that she wanted to be closer to her mom and her brother Jake. Well, Goop and Chris DID buy a new home in LA, although they?ve spent much of the last year in London, like always. Now The Mail is reporting again that Goop wants to move her kids to LA so they can spend a few years getting an American education? but sources say Goop definitely wants Apple and Moses to go to high school/prep school in England because American schools are too peasanty. Basically.
She has lived in London for a decade and calls it her ?adopted home?, but Oscar-winner Gwyneth Paltrow is moving her family back to Los Angeles. The 40-year-old actress and her rock-star husband Chris Martin of Coldplay plan to make LA their home for at least the next two years. The family will move in time for their children Apple, nine, and Moses, seven, to start the school term in September.
A source said: ?Gwyneth has loved living in London but America will always be home and she wants to be closer to her family. Her mother and brother live in California and she plans to spend the next couple of years in Los Angeles while her children are young enough for their education not to be affected. She misses her family terribly and now is the time to move.?
‘Her children have English accents and once they start senior school Gwyneth says the family will likely return to the UK because she believes that the English education system is second to none.?
Rumours have been rife for months that the family was planning to move back to California after they forked out 6.6 million on an opulent new home in a private Hollywood Hills estate. The 8,000 square-foot house in the exclusive Brentwood area is the most expensive in the couple?s property empire which includes their 4.6 million home in North London, a 3.2 million penthouse flat in New York and a 3.4 million house in the Hamptons near New York.
Designed by renowned US architect Windsor Smith the home has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and a separate stable block. Paltrow, famed for her eco-friendly ways, even had an entrance hall made with stones recovered from a Peruvian schoolhouse.
Friends say Gwyneth longs to spend more time with her 70-year-old widowed mother Blythe Danner and her director brother Jake as well as friends like godfather Steven Spielberg: ?Gwyneth misses her family terribly and while she has grown to love London and her children have English accents, now is the time to move. The kids have said goodbye to their school friends and they are having a final European holiday before the big move.?

Granted, I had an American public school education and my mother is a public school teacher, so I have a bias about people disrespecting American education out of hand. I?m not saying that the American public school education isn?t broken in some cities, in some counties, or in some states, but I just think it?s wrong and unfair to dismiss the American education system out of hand. But beyond that, it?s not like Gwyneth is going to be sending her kids to public high school in America or England either way ? they?re going to be going to private schools, no matter what. And if she?s interested in having a debate about which country has the best PRIVATE schools? well, then I?ve got nothing. I have no idea. But I would be interested in seeing Moses Martin at Eton with all of the sons of dukes and earls and MPs. That would be interesting.

It was just three weeks ago when we first learned that Leah Remini had basically abandoned Scientology after asking the super-uncool question ?What?s Shelly?? Leah had apparently been having issues with Scientology for years, openly questioning the whereabouts of David Miscavige?s wife Shelly and speaking truth to power about CoS?s whole ?you need to abandon your entire family, they are suppressive? mandate. In that past month, Leah has only issued ONE public statement about the controversy, letting her sister do some of the heavy lifting on Xenu-bashing. As CB as discussed, Scientologists are majorly pissed off at Leah and Kirstie Alley seems to leading the charge against Leah.
Well, now Leah has made a second public statement about her abandonment of the Scientology cult. While it may seem like her comments are just a statement of how people with free will think and act, this is basically a declaration of war on Scientology and David Miscavige specifically:
Leah Remini may have split from Scientology earlier this month, but she’s suddenly on her own.
“We stand united, my family and I, and I think that says a lot about who we are, and what we’re about,” the former King of Queens star, 43, told PEOPLE on Saturday at the 15th annual DesignCare event in Malibu.
Remini, who tangled with the church, added, “I believe that people should be able to question things. I believe that people should value family, and value friendships, and hold those things sacrosanct. That for me, that’s what I’m about. It wouldn’t matter what it was, simply because no one is going to tell me how I need to think, no one is going to tell me who I can, and cannot, talk to.”
The actress ? who was defended by the niece of David Miscavige, the most powerful man in Scientology ? explained, “It doesn’t matter, it could be anything. I thought about the family being broken up for some other cause, and I’m not about to shut up.”

While Leah is my personal hero for asking the oh-so-bold question ?Where?s Shelly?? (WHERE IS SHELLY?!), sources have always maintained that Leah?s biggest problem with Miscavige personally and Scientology in general is the mandate that a person needs to ?shun? and disassociate with their family members if said family members leave CoS or if the family members question Miscavige?s orders. It sounds like Leah is still really bothered by that, by the families who have been destroyed by CoS. Sigh? Leah is pretty heroic, I think.

Bedhead already covered the photos of Katy Perry at the Smurfs 2 premiere in LA yesterday. These are just some notable others from that event, particularly Britney Spears and her boys Sean Preston, 7, and Jayden James, 6. Both boys have birthdays in September and they look so grown up to me here! I love how they’re dressed like every other little boy their age. It looks like Sean (if the blonde kid is Sean) is even wearing Sketchers. Check out the faces he’s making with his mom, he’s such a ham!
Britney also looks very happy and relaxed with her boys. I’m not fond of her Leger bandage dress, those look a little dated to me now and I dislike how short those dresses are, but Britney loves that look and she often wears Leger on the red carpet. She looks gorgeous. I love her hair and makeup especially. She’s come a long way.
Britney has a new single for the movie, “Ooh La La!,” which Katy Perry (Smurfette) “secretly” sang backup vocals for.
At the New York screening of the film we have Christina Ricci in an adorable light blue spaghetti strap dress with a kind of faux-peplum. What is going on at the waist there? It’s like the dress flares out but there’s no peplum in sight. Ricci told People Magazine that she’s so excited to be engaged because she gets to call her boyfriend her “fiance.” She said she’s looking forward to calling him her husband eventually. Ricci voices an animated character called Vexy who is like a troublemaker smurf created by Gargamel to wreak havoc. I really hope my kid does not want to see this movie. Bedhead has no choice since she gets stuck with the kids’ reviews at Pajiba.
Neil Patrick Harris classing up the joint in his blue tailored suit. He plays a real person. In case you are at all interested, this movie has a mix of actual people and animated smurf characters. Here’s a link to the trailer.
Neil brought his partner, David Burtka, and their nearly two year-old twins Harper and Gideon, cute!
Neil’s onscreen wife, Jayma Mays, (yes I saw the first Smurfs movie) didn’t get the memo about wearing blue and opted for a bright orange and Pink Paper London dress paired with goofy Brian Atwood shoes. It’s a bold look, that’s for sure.

Here are some photos of Katy Perry at the Los Angeles premiere of Smurfs 2: Bedhead’s Descent Into Hell. Yeah, I’m so not looking forward to reviewing this one and wondering why Neil Patrick Harris has decided to do this to his career. Once again, Katy voices Smurfette, and she looks rather pretty in a Tadashi Shoji dress with Pedro Garcia shoes. I do like the dress quite a bit because the fabric drapes well and reminds me of my prom dress (that was actually a cheap knockoff of Stephanie Seymour’s “November Rain” gown), which sort of says something about Katy’s fashion taste. As always, one can tell that Katy made a huge time investment on her makeup for the evening.
Speaking of time-consuming endeavors, Katy has admitted that she took three months to prepare for her recent Vogue cover and editorial, which I imagine included time thinking about how to properly trash Russell Brand in the interview. What exactly did Katy’s preparation involve? Tons of vitamins, no coffee or alcohol (really?), and whatever else Katy thought could make her “glow.” Such measures seem like overkill since the cover was heavily Photoshopped because that’s what magazines do these days. Oh well:
It’s not easy being a Vogue cover girl! While taking to Jay Leno on Friday, July 26, Katy Perry admitted that the July issue photo spread — shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz — required intense preparation.
“I did a lot of my own prepping,” the “Wide Awake” singer, 28, said of the cover that was shot on a farm in Upstate New York. “I kind of went on a cleanse, I did a lot of stuff like vitamins and supplements, I changed my coffee to green tea, I didn’t drink alcohol for three months.”
“I was really in the zone, I just wanted to be glowing for that cover,” she continued.
Indeed, in May, John Mayer’s current girl showed off various supplements she was taking in a Twitter picture. “I’m all the about that supplement & vitamin LYFE,” she wrote with the pic.
Despite the regimen, Perry seemed pleased with the end result — sharing how “amazing” it was to work with Leibovitz. “She’s incredible,” she said. “It was really fantastic working with her … She [has] such a great vibe, she’s got no ego which is fantastic, and she really let’s [sic] me be creative as well.”
Perry, who voices Smurfette in the upcoming July 31 Smurfs 2 movie, also opened up about the vibe of her upcoming album, which she said will debut “soon.”
“I?ve had a lot of time to reflect, and I think that it will continually be what I always do — connecting to my core and trying to bring an honest message that people can relate to,? she said.

In case you missed Katy’s vitamin and supplement tweet, here’s a link to the photo that makes me believe that Katy simply poops plastic capsules. Sorry to be gross, but nobody needs that many useless pills. Talk about pouring money down the toilet. Vitamins and minerals should mostly come from food sources for best absorption, right? That’s what I’ve always read, but I do take one daily supplement that contains calcium, vitamin D, zinc, and magnesium because one can never be too careful with one’s bones. In comparison, all those baggies seem quite excessive.
Thankfully, we are not seeing photos of Katy with John Mayer on this red carpet. Instead, Katy brought her grandma as her date! We haven’t seen Grams since last year’s Billboard Awards, and this lady has spunk.

You know that as soon as Lindsay Lohan gets out of court-ordered rehab, it?s going to be 24-7 crack drama, right? I?m just saying that so everyone ? and I mean EVERYONE ? will prepare themselves. I?m not even sure when Lindsay is scheduled to leave her Malibu rehab clinic? it?s soon, I think. Like, within the next week or week and a half. We?ve been without daily Lohan crack drama for months, although she?s still tried to provide us with some drama here and there, through ?sources? and stuff.
So, as soon as Lindsay gets out of rehab, she?ll probably head straight to New York to promote The Canyons. She?s supposed to give some sort of exclusive interview to Oprah (at a cost to Oprah of $2 million), and I think I remember something about an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman too. There will probably be a cracked-out red carpet premiere for The Canyons in either LA or NYC (or both) and Lindsay will insist on attending. And with all of this, you have to remember that Oprah?s OWN cameras will be following Lindsay for a mini-series reality show or something. Again, I?m saying all this so you can begin to prepare yourselves. In the meantime, Lindsay is pretending like everything I just said is a crack lie and that she?s really going to be flying (one-way!) to Europe for some rest and relaxation.
Lindsay Lohan has booked a one-way ticket to Europe … set to depart as soon as she finishes rehab … because everyone knows an overseas vacation is the best way to keep your nose clean.
Sources close to LiLo tell TMZ … after her 90-day-court-ordered rehab finishes up she’ll head to London for some R&R … as the first stop on a European adventure.
We’re told a gal pal of LiLo offered to take her as a gift for a “job well done in rehab”. And since LiLo has some time before her OWN docu-series begins filming she jumped at the opportunity.
Our sources say she booked a one-way ticket and has no return date set (yet), but hopefully it’s before she’s scheduled to film.
Lindsay believes the trip will give her some privacy during her post-rehab days.
Plus, it’s Europe … what could go wrong?

Here are some photos of Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer about a week ago at the German premiere of The Lone Ranger. We didn’t cover these photos until now because they’re kinda dull compared to the London premiere with Armie’s crazy red suit, but I guess these pictures are notable for the fact that Armie looks like a wax doll. Johnny looks the same as always if a bit more subdued. It’s gotta be hard to keep promoting a movie that’s already performed poorly in one’s home country, and I’m sure that Johnny feels terrible that his “small contribution to righting the wrongs” hasn’t been met with huge box-office enthusiasm. To add insult to injury, Lone Ranger has been remade into a pr0n parody where “Tonto” will be played by a chick. Ouch.
Poor Johnny. For whatever reason, he skipped the Paris premiere of this movie; and between the bummer-inducing trifecta of Lone Ranger, Dark Shadows, and even his most recent passion project, The Rum Diary (the latter of which had a relatively low budget for a Depp movie but still lost many millions of dollars), the guy needs a vacation from his day job. And reportedly, he’s thinking of taking an extended vacation, as in forever, from acting. We’ll see about that:

The 50-year-old actor has hinted that he may step away from the cameras in the near future, saying he feels overworked after starring in well over forty films during his career.
In an interview to be aired on BBC Breakfast on Monday, the actor told Susanna Reid: “When you add up the amount of dialogue you say per year and you realise you’ve said written words more than you’ve had a chance to say your own words, that becomes an insane option for a human being.”
Depp, who’s currently dating his Rum Diaries co-star Amber Heard, insisted there’s still loads of other things [he'd] like to try.
“Are there quieter things I wouldn’t mind doing? Yes, I wouldn’t mind that. I wouldn’t say I am dropping out any second but I would say it’s not too far away,” he added.
Fans shouldn’t start the mourning process yet though as when asked by Reid if he would retire before the rumoured Alice In Wonderland 2 and next Pirates of the Caribbean movie, he added: “No, I think we’re alright in those categories.”

While I think that Johnny definitely needs some time away from the camera to make the audience miss him, Johnny’s words are probably mere evidence of a little bit of pouting on his part. He’s used to being such a huge deal in Hollywood, and the guy has enjoyed decades of box-office success. Sure, he’s had a difficult few years as far as ticket sales go, but he can come back.
Besides, actors threaten to quit all the time, and he’s not going anywhere fast. Johnny has already finished filming Transcendence, and he’s already signed onto Mortdecai, which is a “comic crime thriller” that will feature Johnny wearing a huge mustache (because he can’t go without a disguise for too long) and will also star Goop and Ewan “Feel Free to Tear Off My Kilt” McGregor. In addition, Johnny also has Pirates 5 on the horizon. I’ll bet Amber Heard is looking forward to kissing those Jack Sparrow teeth.

Contrary to our tipster’s insistence, and the suspicious way the winery employee phrased her non-comment about a recent “VIP wedding,” Jennifer Aniston did not get married in Charlottesville, Virginia last week. I jumped on that tip because I missed an earlier tip prior to the announcement of Jennifer Love Hewitt’s pregnancy. (Instead, Celebslam got the exclusive on that one and I’m not mad at ‘em! They acted when we waited.) Our tipster was pretty convinced, and she didn’t seem like she was scamming us or anything, I just think she had the wrong information. Some commenters on the post noted that a professional football player was married at that winery over the weekend.
It’s too bad that Jennifer Aniston didn’t have a quiet wedding in a southern city. I was really hoping she went that route, and that she was no longer playing the incessant PR game that seems to have substituted for her career lately. (Terry Gross said this too, it’s not just us.) Instead, Aniston is still engaged to Justin Theroux, and she still doesn’t have a wedding planned. In a recent interview, she insisted that their wedding hadn’t been postponed, canceled or put off though. What about that People Magazine cover that said that very thing just last month? They don’t make up those cover stories without her team’s approval, do they? Aniston is promoting We’re the Millers, that film in which she plays a drug-smuggling stripper posing as a mom in a fake family with Jason Sudekis.
“We just want to do it when it’s perfect, and we’re not rushed, and no one is rushing from a job or rushing to a job,” Aniston, 44, said Saturday while promoting her new film, We’re the Millers.
“And, you know, we already feel married,” she added.
Aniston and Theroux, 41, began dating more than two years ago and got engaged on his birthday last August. Since then, their indefinite plans have led to speculation ranging from a broken engagement to Theroux getting cold feet.
Not true, says Aniston.
“We have yet to set any dates. There have been no canceled weddings. There have been no postponed weddings. There have been no arguments about where to get married. Just clearing all that up,” she said.
While things are going great, the former Friends star said she sees no urgency to tie the knot.

Again, I’m kind of wondering how People Magazine can run a cover story with multiple sources confirming that the wedding is stalled, while Jen insists about six weeks later that her wedding wasn’t postponed or canceled. Maybe she’s in a better place in her relationship now, and what felt like a postponement that warranted a People cover now feels like a snag that they’ll get over. The two seem to be spending more time together.
The engaged couple also hit another snag recently. Jen told E! online that Justin broke one of her toes when he stepped on her foot with his motorcycle boot. She said “I have a broken toe. Not to out my sweet, sweet fianc but he has big feet and wears these boots. He stepped on my toe. Broke it. I felt it.” Maybe it’s for the best that she’s not getting married soon. She’ll probably have to avoid wearing high heels for a while. (After last night’s Dexter, broken toes seem so creepy to me. That’s not a spoiler!)

Bethenny Frankel’s talkshow is coming back in September after having survived a six week trial run last summer. There are stories that Bethenny’s namesake show will be in competition with Kris Jenner’s talkshow, but let’s face it, Bethenny is already ahead of Kris and that’s likely to continue. Kris’ talkshow sucks. Plus Bethenny’s show is being produced by Ellen DeGeneres, so she already has that going for her. One thing Bethenny does not have is any kind of rapport with her staff, if recent reports are to be believed. The NY Post claims that Bethenny’s administrative assistant, who has worked with several other celebrities, quit the job because she had “never been treated this badly.”
Sources tell us the former ?Real Housewife? is ?very particular and difficult,? and her behavior has upset some staffers at the Ellen DeGeneres-produced show, which is headed into pre-production.
We?re told that Frankel?s executive assistant, named Marilyn, quit after just a few weeks, saying she couldn?t work with the Skinnygirl mogul.
?Marilyn quit after less than a month because Bethenny was so mean to her,? a source said. ?Marilyn has a lot of experience working with celebrities and complained she had ?never been treated this badly.?
?They have been interviewing other assistants, who had to sign nondisclosure agreements and were told not to talk to Bethenny unless she talks to them first. They have interviewed more than 40 people, but she doesn?t like anybody.?
While a source close to Frankel confirmed that things with the assistant ?didn?t work out,? she insisted there?s complete harmony between Bethenny and her team. ?They are testing out assistants. It is a very particular job with a lot involved, managing Bethenny?s TV and business interests. But there is absolutely no division between Bethenny and the staff on the show. For many of them it is a dream job. There?s lots of energy and excitement.?
The program makes its debut on Sept. 9, and Frankel has brought on a team of bookers to give Kris Jenner?s new talk show a run for its money.
Meanwhile, spies saw Frankel ? who?s going through a bruising divorce with Jason Hoppy ? with billionaire hedge-funder Warren Lichtenstein at his son?s New England summer camp last weekend.
?They were there for parents visiting day,? a spy said. ?And they arrived via private jet to see Warren?s son.?
A friend of Frankel told us, ?Warren has been very supportive during a difficult time. He and Bethenny have been best friends since college.?
A rep for Bethenny declined to comment.

Of course Bethenny is such close “friends” with this billionaire that she’s going to visit his son’s summer camp with him. Bethenny’s rep doesn’t deign to respond to those rumors that she’s seeing the guy but her “friend” will. It’s a shame the “friend” didn’t directly deny that Bethenny insists that no one speaks to her at work unless she speaks to them first. You know she does that. You also know that she threw water on her ex’s face while he’s sleeping and screamed at him that she’s “richer than God.” None of this is surprising.

For about two years, it really seemed like Christina Aguilera had sort of given up. She gained weight, she was a public, drunken mess, she flubbed the National Anthem, she passed out at Jeremy Renner?s party, she didn?t wear panties to Etta James? funeral, and so, so much more (that was just the stuff I remembered off the top of my head). Maybe it was just a really bad phase after her divorce. Maybe Christina just drowned herself in booze and clown makeup. Whatever happened, I guess it?s over because these are photos of the new and improved Christina at the NBC upfronts over the weekend. Look at how tiny she is!
Granted, we had an idea that Christina was spending some of her ?time away? from The Voice losing weight ? we saw photos of her in June where she looked like she had lost a notable amount of weight. But this kind of weight loss does seem to have happened? quickly. Right? Is anyone else thinking ?coughcoughlap-bandcough?? Granted, I should have been more prepared for this. A new music video was released last week for Christina?s duet with Alejandro Fernandez, and she was showing off her new body there too (if only I had watched this last week):
Blah. Maybe this just proves that Christina and Snooki are the same person. ?Snooki? lost a lot of weight recently too.

Wait, I thought she took a season off because she wanted to work on other projects? Wasn?t that the rationale she used at the time, that she wanted to promote her album and do some touring or something? And six months later, we realize that we barely saw her at all and she didn?t promote that much and so the whole coughcoughlap-bandcough theory is making more sense.
