Looking for a caffeinated boost, Denise Richards showed up at a Starbucks coffeehouse in Calabasas, California yesterday afternoon (December 2).
Joined by her daughters Sam and Lola Sheen, the ?Wild Things? actress braved the rainy conditions with her stylish UGG boots as they all scurried back to their car.
Last month, Denise made headlines for coming to the rescue of a dog displaced by the wrath of Hurricane Sandy in Long Island, New York.
Richards adopted a pooch named Tara, adding to her already-massive brood of canine companions, during her promotional appearance at the North Shore Animal League America.
As for the total number of dogs under her roof, Denise explained, "I always say too many to count. I have a lot. I converted my garage into a dog bedroom. And it's good for my girls. For my daughter's birthday party, in lieu of gifts, we asked if anyone was interested in donating blankets and dog food and cat litter and my daughter dropped it off at the shelter. So, it's nice for them to know and to learn to give back. And they're very nurturing, which is great for the animals, too."

Gearing up for another day on the job, Zoe Saldana caught a limousine ride from a friend?s house this morning (December 4) in Los Feliz, California.
The ?Colombiana? actress donned a striped top with a grey scarf, grey knit boots, and skinny jeans as she hopped into her chauffeured ride, carrying a bottle of Gatorade.
And it has been a busy week for Miss Saldana, as she was spotted attending the 2012 Trevor Live benefit shindig hosted by the GLBT organization The Trevor Project on Sunday night (December 2).

With her new film "Anna Karenina" in theaters now, Keira Knightley headed to "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" to pitch in on promotions last evening (December 3).
The 27-year-old actress looked gorgeous in a multi-colored, patterned dress with black platform heels as she joined the affable host in Rockefeller Center in New York City.
During the show, Keira played "Name that Tune" with Jimmy, Michael Bubl, and Dave Matthews.
Recently, Ms. Knightley spoke to the Los Angeles Times about understanding the title character in her new movie. She explains, "I had a weird relationship with her because I first read the book when I was about 19, and I just remembered her being innocent and everybody else being wrong. And then all of a sudden I went back to the book last summer before we started shooting and was totally shocked that my view of her and the story as a whole had so completely changed. I suddenly saw her as being very morally ambiguous ? I think in coming to it this time that was something that we were interested in playing with."

I guess the Internal Revenue Service won’t cash checks drawn off the Bank of Sober Valley Lodge, because they’ve frozen all of Lindsay Lohan’s accounts for non-payment of federal taxes. Radar Online says:
Facing myriad criminal legal problems, Lindsay must now deal with the IRS, which obtained tax liens against her for $233,000 of unpaid taxes from 2009 and 2010.
Meanwhile Lindsay was paid for her TV movie Liz & Dick [and] collected a hefty appearance fee to promote an energy drink.
?I would like to know where the $150,000 is she made on the Pink Energy Drink,? [father] Michael Lohan [said].
Now, with her accounts frozen, Lindsay is running out of time and resources to fight her mounting legal woes.
Lindsay found out a little late that Uncle Sam doesn’t actually have a lap she can sit on, and the IRS doesn’t accept payments in blowjobs or cartons of cigarettes. The lady at H&R Block was very specific about that.

There isn’t much that surprises me about this story if you leave out who we’re talking about. A minor male celebrity goes to a football game with his buddies, gets wasted, starts talking smack to a guy with a jersey on for the opposing team, and gets kicked out of the stadium after a fight ensues. Later, the alleged victim claims that the minor celebrity/former reality star and boybander choked him and called his wife a b*tch when she came up with a clever comeback to his smack-talk. The celebrity guy brags about the incident on Twitter, not acknowledging his responsibility for getting kicked out of the game and acting like it was a badge of honor or something.
No biggie, this is the kind of petty thing we’d expect from a person with that background except this is Nick Lachey! He’s supposed to be the decent guy, the one who put up with Jessica Simpson for so long until she cheated on him. He’s not known for being a hothead or an ass and we had a window to his marriage for years. He seems rather low key and chill about everything. I am honestly surprised. When did he become a douche, or is this just a bad moment for him? Anyway here’s the news for this:
Nick Lachey isn’t just a heckler … he CHOKED a San Diego Chargers fan at Qualcomm Stadium on Sunday and called the guy’s wife a “f**king b*tch” … this according to multiple people involved in the incident … but Nick says it’s all BS.
TMZ has obtained new video … which shows Lachey getting aggressive with a Chargers fan who was wearing an Igor Olshansky #99 jersey (Igor played for SD from 2004 to 2008).
We spoke to the guy in the jersey … who tells us Lachey and his buddies — all die-hard Bengals fans — had been talking trash to him about the jersey for most of the 2nd half of the game.
The Chargers fan says Lachey made one particularly offensive comment about Olshansky that crossed the line … and that’s when the fan’s wife shot back to Nick, “Well, he lasted longer than your boy band.”
We’re told Lachey flipped out and called the wife a “f**king b*tch” … along with “a host of other profanities.”
Tensions exploded … and the Chargers fan says Nick lunged towards him … grabbed him by the throat and shoved him to the ground. The fight can be seen in the footage obtained by TMZ.
As we previously reported, stadium security quickly responded and ejected Nick and his buddies. The Chargers fans were NOT asked to leave.
After the incident, Nick went to Twitter and BRAGGED about the situation — saying, “Just got kicked out of the chargers stadium and couldn’t be prouder! Go Cincy Bengals.”
He later acknowledged the altercation … tweeting, “i simply don’t appreciate someone turning around and putting their finger in my face. call me crazy, but that deserved a reaction.”
We’re told the Chargers fan plans to file a police report against Lachey.
Nick’s rep tells TMZ, “This is a gross misrepresentation of what happened. It was nothing but a spirited debate between fans of opposing teams. At no point did Nick say anything derogatory to the man’s wife and anything to suggest the contrary is simply untrue.”

TMZ has a video to accompany this story, but don’t bother watching it unless you’re bored stiff at work and need a diversion. Hell, just go to YouTube and watch funny cat videos. All you can see is a blurry cell phone clip of Nick looking like he’s lunging at a guy in this mass fight. It looks like a free-for-all, not like Nick was the only one being the aggressor. So what happened? It was probably a convergence of Nick’s hotbutton issues – sports and his lousy career. Add some overpriced beer and drunk friends in there and you have a recipe for a fight. It makes me wonder if everything is ok at home with Vanessa and their new baby. Probably. He’s just getting worked up at a sports game. I’m not invested in sports like that and can’t relate. I hope he didn’t choke that guy though, that’s awful if it’s true.

Ugh. I?m a Brangeloonie and everything, but even I get tired of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie?s talking points. Like, I was fine with Brad talking about the wedding last week while he promoted Killing Them Softly, but now Angelina has given an interview? and I just find it exhausting. They were talking about this earlier in the year, when Brad was campaigning for his Oscar. They talked about it last year. They?ve started talking about it whenever they promote one of their films. The subject? How they?re going to ?quit? Hollywood. I don?t get why they continue to give quotes about it. If you?re going to quit, just quit. We don?t need a multi-year build-up to prepare ourselves. Anyway, here?s Angelina?s new interview where she discusses how she?s totally going to quit, for real now.
It was only last year that Brad Pitt claimed he would be giving up acting for directing in the space of three years as he approaches the 50 mark. And now his fiance Angelina Jolie has vowed the same thing. The Tomb Raider star has now said that she too envisages giving up being in front of the camera so that she can spend more time with their brood of children.
Jolie, 37, has now also spoken out to admit she can’t see herself spending that much longer concentrating on her movie career.
She told Channel 4 news: ‘I think I’m going to have to give up the acting as the kids hit the teenage years, anyway, too much to manage at home. I have enjoyed being an actress. I am so grateful to the job and I have had great experiences and I have even be able to tell stories and be a part of stories that mattered and I have done things for fun, but…’
The Salt star added: ‘I will do some films and I am so fortunate to have the job, it’s a really lucky profession to be a part of and I enjoy it. But if it went away tomorrow I would be very happy to be home with the children. I wake up in the morning as a mum and I turn on the news like everybody else and I see what’s happening and I want to be part of the world in a positive way.’
Brad made a similar pledge recently when the 48-year-old revealed he’d like to give up acting in the near future as he approaches 50. And he admitted he even chooses what films he appears in carefully now for fear his children will judge him.
He said: ‘If I’m choosing a film now I want it to be, maybe, less immature than things I’ve done in the past. I’m very conscious that they’re going to see it as adults. I want it to mean something to them. I want them to think: ‘Dad’s all right’. It changes everything.’
And it’s no wonder the pair are deciding to hang up their acting shoes now as they get even more settled in their family lives. The couple are due to wed in the near future – and Pitt has already spoken about their plans. And it seems like when Brad finally does wed Angelina Jolie it will be a day all about the little cherubs.
The parent of adopted and biological kids – Maddox, 11, Pax, eight, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, six, and twins Knox and Vivienne, four ? wants the ceremony to be one where the little ones get as much attention as the beautiful bride.
Following an interview with the actor, a writer at People magazine revealed about the forthcoming nuptials: ?One thing for sure, he says it’s going to be all about family: a simple affair with Angie and the kids.?

Here are some new photos of Taylor Swift at last night?s Ripple of Hope Awards Dinner in NYC. It was held at The Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, and many Kennedy family members were in attendance. Swifty had to attend because the Kennedys were giving her an award. So, was Conor Kennedy there? No. He was not. He was in school, for the love of God. It?s so funny to me that the Kennedy family ? as a whole ? has been dragged into Swifty?s teenage girl-drama. Apparently, Swifty looked ?glum? at the awards and as soon as she could, she bolted from the ceremony. She went to her hotel, changed into a little black dress and hit up the One Direction concert after-party to see her new boyfriend Harry Styles. AMAZING.
She might well be never ever getting back together with Conor Kennedy but Taylor Swift wasn’t about to forget him (and his alluring family) on Tuesday night… as they presented her with an award! That’s right, the in no way awkward presentation took place at the RFK Centre’s annual gala in New York hosted by the infamous clan themselves.
Taylor was awarded the 2012 Ripple of Hope Award and despite the fact she popped herself into an appropriately glittering gold gown, her face spoke of unhealed wounds. Conor, 18, didn’t attend and although 22-year-old Taylor has moved on with One Direction’s Harry Styles, also 18, she looked glum to be at an event hosted by his family without him.
Conor’s father, 58-year-old Robert F. Kennedy Jr, and his actress girlfriend Cheryl Hines, 47 best known for Curb Your Enthusiasm, attended but spent the night cosying up to 26-year-old actress Dianna Agron. Taylor did pose with Conor’s Aunty Kerry and his Aunty Rory on stage, Rory was one of the clan to wax lyrical about Swift.
Rory, who helmed HBO film Ethel about her mother, said of the star during the youngsters summer romance: ‘I think she’s fantastic and I couldn’t be more thrilled. She’s a good friend of our family and we all adore her and love her. It’s great to have her around.’
Of course, giving well known philanthropist Taylor an award is a good way of making her less likely to write a song about Conor (as she is wont to do about her exes) but it seems that the beautiful blonde may have reconciliation on her mind.
According to Hollywood Life though, Taylor is still in contact with Conor and the Styles romance is just a mere flirtation. Which would be wise considering the young lad’s track record with the older ladies.
Whereas, Taylor’s bond with Conor seemed deeper… even with the rest of the family as she spent much time at the Kennedy family compound in Hyannis Port. She even earned the approval of Kennedy matriarch, Ethel, who commented that she was quite smitten with the Grammy winner.
However, the fling is still flinging for now as Taylor left the ceremony as soon as her obligations were fulfilled to head over to the One Direction concert after-party… after changing into a LBD.

I wonder how that goes down in the Kennedy family. Does Rory go to Conor and tell him everything that Swifty said, every glum look and every awkward pause whenever certain subjects come up? What?s weird is that some members of the Kennedy family seem to be actively trying to get Swifty and Conor back together. And you know what? This Harry Styles thing isn?t going to last. Swifty?s relationships usually only last 3 to 4 months on average, and I have doubts as to whether Swifty and Harry will last beyond even New Year?s. I wonder if he dumps her over the phone too?

It seems as though morning sickness is going around, as Holly Madison revealed she was admitted to the hospital with dehydration symptoms brought on by pregnancy.
The ?Dancing with the Stars? veteran tweeted, "Almost 7 months and morning sickness took hold! Glad to be otherwise ok, tho."
The 32-year-old added, "Thank you for all the get well wishes! Keeping me entertained-forgot to bring a book with me.?
This is the first child for the ?Girls Next Door? star. The proud papa-to-be is Madison?s boyfriend, Pasquale Rotella.

Here are some photos of Katy Perry at the Trevor Live event where she was honored for her efforts against bullying. During her speech, Katy stated, “I hope all LGBTQ youth know that they are as valuable as anyone else, that they are amazing and unique, and make the world a more vibrant place.” Well, at least she said something remotely intelligent and inspiring unlike her recent statements about feminism. So that’s something, I guess. Small steps.
Katy is wearing a beige/flesh-colored Marchesa dress here, and — even though I agree with Kaiser (and nearly everyone who’s witnessed the horror of Marchesa) that the only reason that any starlet wears the label is due to the not-so-subtle encouragement of Harvey Weinstein — this really isn’t such a bad dress in the grand scheme of all of that sparkly, ice-capadey crap that Georgina Chapman designs. This dress is certainly better than the last Marchesa getup that Katy wore; remember, the one that made her look like a jewelry-box ballerina? So terrible. But you know that Katy’s only wearing this dress because Harvey’s going to make her a movie star. Katy looks good here even though she’s probably unnecessarily relying upon her Spanx security blanket. She’s also toned down her usual hair and makeup habits too, which is a somewhat unexpected but quite welcome change. Or perhaps the lighting is just working in her favor.
Anna Kendrick wore a very light blue Georges Chakra dress, which is floaty and flattering at the same time. She looks gorgeous here even if the hair is a bit off.
Zoe Saldana wore a muted Pink cocktail dress, and it washed her out completely. At least she’s not looking so frighteningly skinny these days.

I like Anne Hathaway. A bold pronouncement, I know. I used to not ?get? Anne, but a few years ago, I found myself starting to come around. She?s one of the most talented actresses out there, I think she?s beautiful (I know some of you don?t agree) and I think she?s a lot smarter than the average starlet/actress. That being said, Annie is still flawed, like everyone. Anne sometimes gets on my last nerve, and I think she has the tendency to be too-cute-by-half, and her default personality can at times come off as ?pretentious nerd?. Anne has a new interview with Access Hollywood, and she was asked about her crazy weight loss for Les Miserables. Instead of talking about it ? which is, after all, the point, right? ? Anne actually sounded like she was concern-trolling all of us in the cheap seats.
Anne Hathaway admitted she was on a strict regimen to get in shape to play Selina Kyle ? aka Catwoman ? in ?The Dark Knight Rises,? but she?s pledged to keep mum on how she got un-fit ? and super skinny ? to play doomed prostitute Fantine in ?Les Miserables.?
?I don?t answer that question. Not to like get super serious about it, but just there?s so many people out there that will try something unhealthy to lose weight,? Anne explained, when Access Hollywood?s Michelle Beadle brought up how much she hates the ?weight? question with regards to this film.
?I don?t want to contribute to that. So actually I don?t answer the question,? the actress added.
But Anne was absolutely open about her first post-film meal.
?I had spelt pasta with garlic oil and like a lot of beautiful fresh tomatoes and then I had a twice baked potatoes, with basil sun dried tomatoes [and] oil. It was so good,? she raved.
Anne also revealed that Russell Crowe, who plays Javert in the film, the long arm of the law, was actually a total sweetie to the actress and her post-film first meal.
?Russell Crowe ? don?t let this tough guy exterior fool you ? he?s a big marshmallow-hearted man,? she said. ?He scoured London and found me a vegan chocolate cake and brought me this huge vegan chocolate cake when I was done because he asked me, ?Are you going to have anything sweet?? I?m like, ?No, no, I don?t. We were shooting way out in the middle of nowhere. I?m like, ?I can?t be bothered to go to London to get that!? And he brought it for me? to make sure that I was going to be able to celebrate with something sweet.?

On face value, I understand what she?s saying, and I agree. Why contribute to that pro-ana BS? Why talk in neurotic detail about how you shaved off those pounds? And I also think that once she starts talking about it, everyone will ask her about it and it will be a repeat of Natalie Portman?s Black Swan Oscar campaign where everyone was obsessed with her weight and Mila Kunis?s weight.
But there are several problems. One, Anne has ALREADY talked about it ? notably to Vogue (where she explained that she lived on oatmeal paste for weeks). So, it?s like closing the barn door after the horses have bolted. Two, Anne?s physical ?transformation? is a huge part of her Oscar campaign. You know, the whole reason we?re here, the whole reason Anne is talking about Les Mis, her whole Oscar strategy of talking about how difficult it was to lose the weight and chop off her hair (all for the role of a lifetime, she?ll tell the Academy) in between dropping in little personal details about her wedding and how she can?t wait to have babies.
Anyway, I think it?s far more likely that Anne doesn?t want to ?give away? such important and Oscar-worthy campaigning to an outlet like Access Hollywood. She?ll save it for Vanity Fair or The Hollywood Reporter or The Los Angeles Times. She?ll go into more details about her diet with those outlets. Trust me.

She's clearly a star that's nabbed a lot of attention as of late and on Monday (December 3), Taylor Swift was honored with a Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award in New York City.
Stepping into the Marriott Marquis Hotel, the 22-year-old singer looked lovely in a classic knee length cream-colored dress with gold overlay while receiving recognition for her dedication to social change.
Others stars in attendance included Master of Ceremonies Alec Baldwin, Melanie Griffith, Antonio Banderas, Matthew Broderick, Mia Farrow, and Harry Belafonte.

Making for a surprising Hollywood pair, it looks like Kristin Chenoweth and former ?Bachelor? Jake Pavelka are now an official item.
Coyly speaking about their fairly new romance, ?The Good Wife? actress told People mag, ?We have been spending a little time together.?
Although Kristin admits fitting dates into her schedule can sometimes be difficult, she explained that after suffering a head injury on set earlier this year, she is more focused on her happiness.
"A lot of people know that I got hurt in July," Chenoweth said, adding, "I am doing so much better but I think it slowed me down and I've realized life is short. I want to do things that make me happy."
The 44 year-old Hollywood beauty, and Pavelka, 34, reportedly met back at an event in October and have since been spotted out together, most recently a local caf near Jake?s Texas home.

Starting her week off right, Mandy Moore laughed and smiled upon leaving a house with a male friend in Los Feliz, California on Monday (December 3).
The "Tangled" star wore a tan coat, white top, patterned blue jeans, and studded sneakers as she made her way to her vehicle.
Recently, the 28-year-old actress/singer spoke to E! about maintaining balance in her life. Her tips for success include getting lots of sleep and drinking plenty of water, getting out for exercise, and everything in moderation.
About that moderation, Mandy adds, "That means easing off indulgent foods, but also allowing for some leeway. I'm not fanatical about anything, one way or the other. If I want to go out and have a yummy meal with friends, I will. I won't deprive myself of things."
