Bringing his black tie to the Big Apple, Nick Lachey attended the launch of the fifth annual Lindt Gold Bunny Celebrity Auction on Friday (April 4).
The event seeks to help raise awareness for Autism, and the "Taking the Stage" stud showed up at the Peninsula Hotel suited up and smiling for his red carpet appearance.
The 40-year-old hunk also went on to "Good Morning America" to talk about his brother Zac, who was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome, a form of autism, when Zac was 7 years old.
Speaking about his brother, Nick said, "My family has dealt with that, and we?re inspired by his courage and strength. When you see firsthand how it affects the life of someone, my brother especially. He?s been an inspiration to me, and I see how hard and challenging it is, and [I want to do] anything I can to help."
Of the Lindt Gold Bunny Celebrity Auction, Nick said, "The work they do in terms of research; there are so many questions where autism?s concerned. One in 68 kids will now be diagnosed, and my younger brother Zac is one of those kids."

She may be enjoying her time as an world-renowned actress, but now Emma Watson admits she definitely has a backup career in mind.
During her interview with ELLE Australia magazine, the "Harry Potter" starlet revealed she decided to become a certified yoga instructor just after her schedule became completely hectic.
"I was like, 'I need to find a way to always feel safe and at home within myself,'" Miss Watson explained. "Because I can never rely on a physical place."
Emma also shared details about her love for the Yoga during her interview with Wonderland magazine for the February/March 2014 issue. "I can be a full-time actress and a person part-time yoga instructor."

Getting into character for her latest role, Blake Lively looked like she?d stepped out of a time machine from the 1970s as she prepared to shoot scenes for ?The Age of Adaline? on Thursday (April 3).
Joined by costar Ellen Burstyn, the ?Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants? hottie smiled as she ran lines in the Gastown District of Downtown Vancouver, Canada.
And given that her career takes her all over the world, Blake likes to surround herself with familiar scents to make her feel close to her loved ones.
Ms. Lively shared, "Fragrance is a superpower. Because if you smell the fragrance of someone you love, whether it?s your mom or your husband, the smell of your niece and nephew?s hair - that is one of the most powerful emotional experiences you can have.?
?When I first moved to New York I bought this baby shampoo that my nieces and nephews wore and their baby lotion. And I used to wear it because I missed them so much that having my hair smell like them made me somehow feel more connected with them."

Stepping out for an evening of fun and excitement, Heidi Klum headed to the premiere of ?America?s Got Talent? in New York City on Friday (April 4).
The 40-year-old German model donned a leather dress with matching heels as she stopped take a few pictures with fans on the red carpet.
During a recent interview, Miss Klum revealed how all four of her children are finally becoming more self-sufficient.
?It?s easier now. It?s a different phase,? Heidi stated. ?They can all swim. Obviously, you still have to watch them. But they?re on a different level now. It?s a new chapter.?
