Pushing forth with her fitness efforts, Miley Cyrus kicked off her Thursday (April 12) with Pilates in West Hollywood, California.
The 19-year-old looked ready to tone her bones in a tight-fitting black spandex outfit while making her way into the local gym.
The outing comes just two days after Miss Cyrus kicked off her kicks for a good cause.
Of her shoeless day, the former "Hannah Montana" star tweeted, ?I?m going #withoutshoes today so kids don?t have to. Join me.?
As for the initiative, One Day Without Shoes is an annual event sponsored by TOMS Shoes to raise awareness for those who aren?t fortunate enough to own a pair of shoes.

After grabbing a bite to eat with friends, Bethenny Frankel was spotted making her way out of the Crosby hotel in New York City on Wednesday (April 11).
The "Bethenny Ever After" reality star looked adorable as she smiled and waved to the cameras in a black and white tweed jacket over a black turtleneck, skinny jeans and knee high Louboutin boots.
Shortly after lunch, the 41-year-old met up with her husband, Jason Hoppy, to take care of some business at a local bank branch and tweeted a picture of the two sitting in a waiting room, adding, "Hey. They have free coffee and chairs which is more than I can say for my office."
Right before tweeting the picture, Bethenny dished about a project she's working on, as she wrote, "The final stages of my apartment job is now getting heated between parties. I think we need "renovation therapy.""

Stepping out for a promotional appearance, Ashley Judd was spotted at ?Jimmy Kimmel Live? studios last night (April 11).
The ?Double Jeopardy? babe chatted about her experience with the University of Kentucky?s NCAA Championship Season, as well as her new show ?Missing,? which was shot in various European cities.
Ms. Judd explained, ?No green screen. We actually filmed ?Missing? all over Europe. Prague was our basecamp, so that?s where I had my apartment for four and a half months.?
?I actually prefer a different kind of travel. I prefer the really gritty, grassroots, developing country-type humanitarian travel I do. Prague was beautiful. I tried to take in some of the historical sights and familiarize myself with the phenomenal legacy that is Prague, because that enriched my experience of just kind of running back and forth from all the locations.?

This story came out a little earlier this week, but we’re (ok I’m) lazy and just getting to it now. Alicia Silverstone of course recently posted a video in which she was shown chewing up some food and feeding it to her toddler son, Bear Blu (his actual name) directly from her own mouth. The video quickly went viral, with the general response being WTF? I guess I can understand chewing up food for your child, but it seemed kind of out there to feed the kid like a baby bird and to post a video of it online. It’s an actual natural childcare thing though, and Alicia thinks it’s no biggie. She was recently asked about the video during a screening for her new film Vamps. She wasn’t embarrassed about it, basically said it was a natural thing to do, and added that she found it adorable that her son eats like that:
Despite the fallout since her March video, the actress maintains that there?s nothing wrong with her mealtime method.
?People have been feeding their kids that way for thousands for years. It?s a weaning process,? Silverstone, 35, told reporters Saturday at a screening of her cult classic Clueless and upcoming film Vamps at the Brooklyn Academy of Art and Music.
?He attacks my mouth and I think it?s adorable ? it makes me laugh every time he does it,? she says.
?He also knows how to use his hands and he also eats regular food. When babies are weaning, he still breastfeeds. Some people think that?s disgusting too, which is insane.?
As for the critical commentary that followed, ?Honestly, when I posted the video I was not thinking, so maybe I was like [Clueless character] Cher!?
Besides, she points out, it was a personal video posted on her website ? hardly propaganda.
?I didn?t think I was inventing anything. I really wasn?t trying to tell anybody what to do,? explains the actress, adding that she was definitely not intending to ?cause such a ruckus.?

I work out at the Y too and I can imagine this happening. “Every time my husband [Christopher Jarecki] goes to the YMCA, some guy comes over and says, ?That?s how we do it in the South.’ Between him getting those great comments and me knowing in my gut it?s natural and lovely, I really wasn?t trying to tell anybody what to do.” She’s just really chill and blase about everything.
Well I still think it’s bizarre, but good for her for owning it I guess. As I said in our first story about this, as long as her kid is happy and healthy that’s what matters. It sounds like she handled the fallout from that video very well, with a big shrug.

Here are some new photos of Ashley Judd yesterday, filming a segment for Extra. I?m sure she?s promoting Missing, but at this point, hardly anyone is talking about her show. Everyone is talking about ?the puffy-face controversy? because Ashley is still talking about it too. As we previewed yesterday, Ashley gave an interview to NBC to further explain her face and excoriate her critics, just as she did in her Daily Beast essay. Interestingly enough, Ashley continues to shill her flawed (in my opinion) argument, which amounts to ?People said mean things about me, and that makes them misogynists.?
Once again, I think Ashley is simply angry that people said mean things about her, and that they say harsh things about women – not that women are judged on their appearances in general. Ashley?s point is NOT ?We should not say things about a woman?s appearance, good or bad, because a woman should be judged on her mind.? Ashley?s point is ?People shouldn?t say mean things about my appearance in particular because it?s anti-woman to notice when I have a puffy face.? It?s absolutely fine with her if you want to compliment her ?flawless skin? (her words) or say that she looks pretty.

In the new interview, Ashley claims, ?I think it’s hatred of women that invites the criticism? I think it’s the objectification of girls and women and this hypersexualization of our society that invites the criticism.? Hypersexualization? In my opinion, that?s a separate argument. Our society does hypersexualize women, and it?s especially creepy when young girls are hypersexualized. But I don?t understand the point here, with Judd. Is she saying that our culture is so sexualized that we don?t put worth in a woman if we don?t deem her ?sexy?? Valid and interesting point, but is that what she’s saying? Or is it that a once-beautiful Hollywood starlet, who relied and profited from her beauty and her ?sexiness? for years and years, had never before had her appearance criticized?
Judd continues, ?It doesn’t have anything to do with me, really, and how I look? There was no presumption of goodwill. The conversation went straight to, ‘Oh my gosh.’ [There was a] nasty, vitriolic and gloating tone. I started to catch the double bind where, you know, my face looks puffy, ‘She’s had work,’ you know? And then, look at the same image in a different interpretation by a separate set of people is, ‘Oh, come on, she doesn’t even have any wrinkles at all, she’s clearly had work.’ So, I look bad, I’ve had work. I look too good, I’ve had work.” Except that no one was saying she looked ?too good?! Sorry. That amused me. But really, no one was like, ?She looks awesome, she must have had work done.? People only talked about the ?puffy face? because she did look so noticeably different.
The worst part of Judd?s flawed argument (once again, in my opinion) was the part where she talks about how women try to ?fix? their appearances and the cycle of seeking self-worth in beauty products and exercise equipment. This, coming from a woman who had a long-standing contract with Estee Lauder. At the very least, if you consider Ashley?s argument to be valid and without flaws, you have to admit that she was actively engaged with and profiting from this misogynistic system (that she’s now blasting) for years.

Scarlett Johansson is the May cover girl for Vogue. Much like Charlize Theron?s recent appearance on Vogue UK, it seems like the default-setting for fashion editors these days is, ?Eh, just put a blonde on the cover and style her like Grace Kelly.? How does ScarJo do with Grace Kelly-styling (as opposed to her usual Marilyn Monroe styling)? It?s okay. Actually, I think this is one of the most boring Vogue editorials ever. Not even the leopard saves this junk. I?m actually putting some of the blame on ScarJo – considering the girl gets SO many modeling contracts, I expect more from her as a photographic subject, and she consistently fails to deliver. You can read the whole Vogue piece here – ScarJo is taking cooking lessons! Because Blake Lively loves to cook. Sorry! I just thought I would mention that. Here are some highlights from the piece:
Being older: ?It feels like a lifetime ago,? Johansson says. ?Am I happy I?m not 20 anymore? Yeah. Nineteen? I don?t want to be that age. It?s incredibly confusing.?
Working with Woody Allen: ?I forged this unbelievable friendship with somebody who saw the potential in me at that age,? Johansson says. She would later work with Allen on Scoop and Vicky Cristina Barcelona. ?Not that the parts he wrote weren?t sexy, but they had substance to them.?

She has no regrets about getting married; she describes the experience with genuine affection. ?It was a beautiful thing,? Johansson says. ?The falling in love and getting married and making that commitment . . . I think it?s nice to know that you?re capable of loving somebody in that way. I think it?s a rare opportunity.? She says she is still recovering and doesn?t pretend the divorce is fully in the rearview. ?I don?t feel on the other side of it completely, but it gets better,? she says. ?It?s still there. More than anything, it?s just that not having your buddy around all the time is weird. There?s no rule book. I think it?s just time.?
On Sean Penn: ?We spent time together, yeah,? she says. ?I never put a title on it, really, but we were seeing each other.? She says she was startled by the amount of media attention the pairing received. ?In my marriage, funnily enough, we had relative privacy,? she says, but the fuss over her and Penn ?was a little bit of an adjustment.? She says she and Penn have remained friends, and she praises his extensive relief work in Haiti. ?He?s a remarkable person,? she says. ?He really is.?
Being hacked: ?It wasn?t just me,? Johansson says. ?It was others. I don?t want to be a victim and say, ?Oh, well? and just hide my head in shame. Somebody stole something from me. . . . It?s sick. I don?t want people like that to slide.? The incident clearly still rattles her. ?When all those photos came out, of course I go out to dinner and think, Goddamn it, these people have all seen my. . . .? Johansson?s voice trails off. ?That?s terrible. You know what I mean? You can?t not think that. Even if they haven?t, you?re paranoid. I don?t want pity,? she says. Her solution, she says, was ?tuning it all out??to stop paying attention to the gossip and the endless churn of celebrity coverage. She says she had never paid much attention to it before, but she imposed a strict blackout. ?I have to say I?m way happier because of it,? she says. ?It?s nice. It allows me, I think, to be more creative. It?s nice not to be so self-aware.?
On playing Black Widow: ?Female superheroes normally are superlame.? Natasha/Black Widow ?is kind of gray. I like that about her.?
The most beautiful man in the world: Lately, Johansson has been dating a New York?based advertising creative director named Nate Naylor; they?ve been photographed by the paparazzi on the Manhattan streets and vacationing in Hawaii?the actress and the real-life Don Draper. Seeing someone out of the public eye may be a comparatively tranquil experience for Johansson, but for her new beau, dating a celebrity has been a real change. Johansson seems amused by how well Naylor has dealt with the sudden attention. ?It must be very strange for him,? she says, smiling. ?It?s totally bizarre. It?s an adjustment?I mean, it?s got to be an adjustment for him way more than it was for me at nineteen. But he?s really remarkably good about it.?

Is it okay if the divorce stuff doesn?t interest me at all? I?m kind of over talking about Ryan and Scar together or apart. But I do think it?s interesting that she commented on the Sean Penn thing – remember, it?s said that Sean pretty much dumped her after their whirlwind affair. I also think the Nate Naylor stuff is good – of course he?s adjusted to dating a celebrity – he thinks he?s a celebrity too! After all, he?s the most beautiful man ever.

Bringing an end to her crazy day, Jennifer Lopez was spotted leaving the set of ?American Idol? in Los Angeles last night (April 11).
Joined by gal pal Leah Remini, the ?Jenny From the Block? songstress looked cute and casual in a grey sweatsuit as she hopped into her Rolls Royce and sped off.
And though they initially announced their split this past July, Marc Anthony finally filed his divorce papers in Los Angeles Superior Court this week.
Filed under his real name Marco Muniz, the documents cited ?irreconcilable differences? as the reason for the divorce. Another possible reason- both Marc and Jennifer have significant others!

I know they?re not everybody?s favorite couple, but I love Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen together. These are photos of Rachel and Michael at last night?s London premiere of his new film, The Story of Us. This is not the first time they?ve done a carpet together – they did a bunch of stuff together last year during the promotion of Midnight In Paris, and Rachel has done a few appearances for Michael?s films. Although? I don?t think he?s ever come out for one of her films?? Like, he didn?t come to any of the premieres of The Vow. Maybe he just didn?t want to see the movie?
Anyway, they?re just super-cute together and I really want them to get married, but it worries me because I think Michael is anti-marriage. He was with Kate Beckinsale for years and after they split, she said some stuff about how never wanted to marry her. Maybe Rachel doesn?t want to get married either – except that I think she probably does want it. And I worry that the marriage issue will split them up. Gah! I need to stop being so neurotic on behalf of this couple. They?re fine. They?re doing fine.
They?ve been together for a year and a half (at least). Rachel claims that they didn?t get together while they filmed Midnight in Paris (hm?), but they got together shortly after, and they seemed coupled up at the Toronto Film Festival in 2010. Rachel recently told Stella Magazine: ?Michael and I never spend more than three weeks apart – we rack up a lot of air miles – but you have to be quite adaptable in this business whether you are in a relationship or not. Trying to establish roots somewhere is a bit of a joke. You need to trust each other and be able to talk to each other and be best friends.? They?re going to be working together again too – they?re scheduled to do a Terrence Malick film at some point.
God, I really wish she?d stop with the blonde. It washes her out!

I know a lot of people are worried about The Dark Knight Rises for various reasons. One of the reasons seems to be Tom Hardy?s mouthpiece thing, and how it seems like the audience might not be able to understand a damn thing he says. But most of the angst and worry is focused on poor Anne Hathaway and whether or not she?ll be able to pull off the Catwoman/Selena Kyle role. Honestly, though, I?m looking forward to it. I think she?ll be great. I think her Catwoman will probably be angrier and more damaged than the ?kittenish? (ha), vampy Catwoman portrayals we?re used to. The Dark Knight Rises comes out July 18 – which feels like a long way away, especially considering that Prometheus and Snow White and the Huntsman are being released in early June (Yaaaaaaaaaaaay!). But Christopher Nolan is so good at releasing bits and pieces of his films to whet the audience?s appetite. So Catwoman and Batman take the cover of the new issue of EW, and here are some interview excerpts:
Christopher Nolan on Bane: Bane is played by Inception alum Tom Hardy. Bane is a cunning, hulking terrorist with a menacing respirator-mask and a small army bent on sacking Gotham City. ?He represents formidable physical strength, combined with absolute evil of intention,? says Nolan.
Nolan on Bane?s mouthpiece thing: Hardy?s Bane has another defining characteristic that perhaps you?ve heard about, or perhaps have heard and didn?t understand: a curiously accented voice that?s further muffled by the rogue?s high-tech muzzle. ?It?s a risk, because we could be laughed at ? or it could be very fresh and exciting,? says Hardy, adding that the voice he developed was influenced by many factors, including a desire to honor the comic book character?s brains and Caribbean heritage. ?The audience mustn?t be too concerned about the mumbly voice,? says Hardy. ?As the film progresses, I think you?ll be able to tune to its setting.?
Nolan on Catwoman: Nolan?s take on the character is no campy sexpot or frazzled ghoul but a shifty cipher, calloused survivor, and world-class criminal. Says Nolan, ?She has a very strong way of protecting herself and those she cares about, which implies an underlying darkness.? Hathaway says she prepared for the role by reading the comics and studying the moves of Hedy Lamarr and Jean Harlow, the two screen legends that inspired the original conception of the comic book villainess.
Anne Hathaway on her transformation: The actress also found herself a trainer. ?I had to physically transform,? says Hathaway, calling from London, where she?s currently shooting Les Misrables with Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe. ?Chris sat me down at the beginning and said, ?Joseph Gordon-Levitt did all of his own fighting in Inception. That one zero-gravity fight? He trained for two months.? I basically left his office and went to the gym and just came out about five minutes ago.?

OK, I?ll admit it – that got me a little excited. I?m so bad with anticipation though. When I find myself interesting in something, I go crazy if I can?t have it right now. I?m currently being driven crazy because I can?t see Prometheus RIGHT NOW, so I?ll have to wait to anticipate The Dark Knight Rises until? oh, mid-June. I?ll pencil it now.
Somebody also released this new, odd image of Anne in her Catwoman costume. This is one of the most bizarre promotional images I?ve ever seen. Her ass looks cute, though. Oh, and look at her ears! Her cat ears. Are you happy, ear-nerds?

Last night was the LA premiere of The Avengers, and before I write up all of the hot dudes that were there (Skarsgard, Downey, Hiddleston, Renner, et al), let?s just have a moment where we talk about ?the girl? in the movie, Scarlett Johansson. Scar is playing Black Widow, obviously, and after releasing several trailers in which Black Widow was not allowed to speak, a Black Widow-centric clip of the film was finally released. And it was very jiggly. Now, Black Widow may or may not kick major ass in the film. But I kind of think Scarlett was just hired because without her, the whole thing would have just been a balls-out sausage party.
So, did Scarlett dress the part of ?the T&A? for the premiere? Scarlett wore this Versace gown, and I swear she?s worn a similar dress in white at some point. I remember this silhouette on her. I?m not crazy about the dress, honestly. It?s not actively bad, but it doesn?t do much for Scarlett?s figure – beyond making her look really slender. I feel like she?s lost so much weight over the past year. I do love that she?s back to this dirty-blonde, though. It suits her more than any other hair color. And her makeup looks good here too.

With Miss Bilson's father, Danny, and step mom, Heather Medway, also along for the Barbadian holiday, the relaxing vacation comes at a perfect time to give the ?Hart of Dixie? starlet a break from her always busy filming schedule.
The CW comedy-drama?s first season is coming to an end and, as of now, there are no current plans on whether or not the Leila Gerstein created series will be back for a second season.

The newly proclaimed gluten-free Miley Cyrus was seen walking out of a class at Winsor Pilates in West Hollywood on Wednesday afternoon (April 11).
The "Last Song" starlet was looking slim and trim in a sheer white cut-off top with a bright orange sports bra underneath while also sporting black leggings and a pair of hot lace up boots topped off with gold-rimmed Ray Bans.
After multiple reports that the 19-year-old was suffering from an eating disorder, she recently fired back on Twitter, messaging, ""For everyone calling me anorexic I have a gluten and lactose allergy. It's not about weight it's about health. Gluten is crapppp anyway!"
This response sparked attention, good and bad, from multiple critics. Heather Mangieri, a registered dietitian in Pittsburgh and a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, said, "We actually see people gaining weight on gluten-free diets. That's because dieters craving bread, waffles and cookies may load up on gluten-free versions that add fat and sugar to make up for lost taste and texture."
Miss Cyrus' advice for her fans to try a gluten-free diet may not be for everyone, but the allergy is definitely a growing issue.
In other news, the former Disney star was scheduled to attend "The Avengers" premiere, but recently tweeted, "I will not be attending. You will soon know and be happy why :)"
Guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Stepping out with a beautiful pregnancy glow, Kristin Cavallari was spotted picking up some healthy drinks at Earth Bar in West Hollywood, California on Wednesday (April 11).
Walking out with two cups, one filled with brown juice and the other green, the former "Laguna Beach" star gave a huge smile to the cameras as she walked by showing off her baby bump in an adorable orange dress under a white coat with beige pumps.
Well into her pregnancy, Cavallari is expecting her first child with Chicago Bears star Jay Cutler, and thankfully people have been very kind and helpful to the mom-to-be, as she tweeted earlier today, "Its nice when paparazzi will at least help u carry bags! Thx buddy".
Before getting help carrying around her baggage, the 25-year-old revealed she's still working hard on her career, tweeting, "Designing shoes all day today!! This is my dream job...so excited :)".
Although she's been busy with business in LA, Cavallari dished in a recent interview with Glamoholic magazine that she'll soon be moving, as she explained, ?I will live in Chicago half the year, then Nashville for the other half. I?ll come to L.A. whenever I need to. We both don?t want to raise our kid with paparazzi and cameras in our face. We want to give them as normal of a life as possible.?

Getting another busy day underway, Jessica Alba was spotted making a quick stop at a Beverly Hills Coffee Bean on Wednesday (April 11).
The "Spy Kids" actress wore a cute black hat, black leather boots and a floral spring dress with a black blazer as she proceeded to get her caffeine fix ahead of the day's agenda.
The outing comes as Miss Alba has recently decided to do something special for National Poetry Month by joining more than a dozen other celebrity parents to participate in poetry readings that will air on the Disney and Disney Junior channels this month.
The mother of two dove into her Hispanic heritage by selecting a Mexican folk song, "De Colores" (meaning "Of Colors"), for her segment - which will air a number of times on both channels, with one of the time slots being April 29 at 6:55am EDT on the Disney Channel.
Alba has said this project is "just a really great way to introduce kids to poetry," including those too young to read and is also a form of, "genius of 'edu-tainment,' a new word I've been introduced to since I've become a mother," defining the word as "tricking your kids into learning."
The 30-year-old has her own collection of poetry but admits that, through the years, her writing has changed, saying, "I have a lot of teen angst on paper, now I just kind of make up songs for my girls. I have little poems that I sing to them before they go to sleep, to the tune of 'Twinkle Twinkle (Little Star)."
