I?ve never been a lowkey or highkey Madonna stan. I like her sometimes, and I don?t care for her sometimes. I like some of her music, and I dislike some of her music. But I have to admit, I?ve enjoyed her promotion for her latest album, Madame X, and I actually half-way like the singles I?ve heard. Is Madame X her best sh-t? Not really, but it?s not terrible. Plus, it feels like like Madonna finally has some sh-t to say after all of her years of just being a provocateur for the hell of it, a rebel without a cause, a person screaming ?look at me!? without having anything to say once she got our attention. Madonna has found some kind of groove at the age of 60, talking about ageism and sexism in her industry and a lot more. Is she saying everything perfectly? Of course not. Chica?s still problematic at times. But I guess my point is that I sort of like Madonna-at-60. She?s interesting. Most people don?t feel the same way though. Madge is struggling to sell concert tickets and there are big concerns:
Four years ago, Madonna was selling out shows at Madison Square Garden. Now, she?s struggling to sell out the BAM opera house in Brooklyn. The ?Material Girl? singer?s ?Madame X? tour that kicks off in New York City on Sept. 12 is off to a surprisingly sluggish start, with hundreds of seats still available for most gigs after more than a month on the block, The Post has learned. That?s despite the fact that the 60-year-old pop star?s upcoming tour will focus on small, theater-type venues that typically only have a few thousand seats each.
After initial reports that the first shows sold out, an interactive seat map that went live on Ticketmaster?s website this week shows that hundreds of seats are still available for each gig. For an Oct. 7 concert at the 2,100-seat BAM Howard Gilman Opera House ? the last night of a 17-night stand that?s slated for Brooklyn ? more than half of its $357 mezzanine seats were unsold as of Tuesday afternoon, according to Ticketmaster?s map.
That shows a ?shocking? lack of interest in Madonna, according to one insider. Her 2015-2016 ?Rebel Heart Tour? grossed $170 million at venues that often drew more than 30,000 fans for a single performance. On that tour, she reportedly sold out Madison Square Garden twice. In 2012, she was said to sell out Yankee Stadium in 20 minutes.
Madonna?s ?Madame X? tour is being promoted by Live Nation, which insisted in a statement that a huge number of seats are now available because it has ?increased the number of shows exponentially due to overwhelming demand.?
?It?s very telling these shows didn?t sell out as quickly as ?Springsteen on Broadway? did a couple of years ago,? an insider said. ?This clearly isn?t the home run Team Madonna was hoping for.?
Her ?Madame X? album, due out on June 14, could add to the momentum, although early signs aren?t encouraging. None of the five songs released before the record itself drops has debuted on the Billboard Hot 100.

I find it difficult to follow all of the insidery music industry stuff, because half of it is hype and half of it is bitchy gossip. We heard similar things about Taylor Swift when Swift?s Reputation tour tickets went on sale, and I still don?t completely understand what happened there it seemed like there were real concerns about sales, but the Snake Fam bought into all of these special deals and promotions and suddenly Taylor had sold-out concerts, as if by magic. My point is? yeah, Madonna?s probably not selling out concerts at the same rate she used to, but I?m sure her concerts will sell well (if not sell out) in the next few months because of some weird quirk of promotion or deals or whatever.

This week I went to Sacramento to talk to legislators in California about a proposed bill. I am not against vaccinations ? I support children getting vaccinations and I also support families having the right to make educated medical decisions for their children alongside their physicians. My concern with #SB276 is solely regarding medical exemptions. My dearest friends have a child with a medical condition that warrants an exemption from vaccinations, and should this bill pass, it would greatly affect their family?s ability to care for their child in this state. That?s why I spoke to legislators and argued against this bill. Not because I don?t believe in vaccinations, but because I believe in giving doctors and the families they treat the ability to decide what?s best for their patients and the ability to provide that treatment. I encourage everyone to read more on this issue and to learn about the intricacies of #SB276. Thank you to everyone who met with me this week to engage in this important discussion!

I first learned of Kelly Rohrbach?s existence in 2015, when she started dating Leonardo DiCaprio and suddenly became a bikini model. Like, she appeared in Sports Illustrated and started dating Leo all at the same time. She was all hype, and she had a great publicist who made her sound like the Coolest Girl to ever Cool Girl. Not even six months later, Kelly and Leo were done because she LITERALLY aged out of the Leo Girlfriend Experience when she turned 25. The Leo Girlfriend Experience did its thing though, and Kelly had somehow hustled her way onto magazine covers and into studio films. That being said, the last time I wrote about her (in 2017), it was because ?sources? said she was a massive diva.
Kelly has been quiet for more than a year the last time (I can find) that she walked a red carpet was at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar party. She has been getting pap?d over the past year in the company of a dude named Steuart Walton. Yes, THAT Walton. Of the Walton family Walmart fortune. The Walton family is worth more than $150 billion. And now Kelly is married to one of the heirs.
You can call Kelly Rohrbach Mrs. Baewatch now although shed probably prefer Mrs. Walton, because TMZ has learned shes married into the freakin Walmart fortune!!! Some would say Steuart Walton is the one who hit the jackpot when he and the Baywatch actress tied the knot. Our sources say they did the deed down in Florida a couple of weeks ago.
Theyve settled into married life well, apparently were told they were spotted at a friends wedding recently and both were sporting wedding bands. Back in March, the happy couple was spotted grabbing coffee and she seemed ecstatic. The massive engagement diamond weighing down Kellys hand probably didnt hurt her mood.
Steuart and Kelly started dating about 2 years ago. Both attended Georgetown she went for undergrad, and he went to the law school. His grandfather, Sam Walton, opened the first Walmart in 1962, and the fams net worth was about $163 BILLION in 2017 when Bloombergs Index named them Americas richest family.
Kelly who used to date Leonardo DiCaprio and once went on a date with Packers QB Aaron Rodgers was Rookie of the Year in 2015 for SIs Swimsuit Edition.

By most accounts, Steuart Walton is about 38 years old. Kelly Rohrbach is 29 years old. How? were they at Georgetown at the same time again? Did Walton go to law school when he was 30? I mean, he could have. There?s no rule that says you have to go to law school right after you get your bachelors degree at 21-22. Anyway, just a minor hiccup in the story. I think this is probably why Rohrbach has been so quiet the past few years, she was focusing on her relationship with a billionaire heir. And honestly, good for her. Good for them both. This is the first time I?m even hearing about them as a couple, and that?s a good thing. The Waltons like discretion. We?ll see.

Jennifer Lawrence has not talked a lot about her fiance Cooke Maroney. They met last year, fell in love and got engaged several months ago, and they?re reportedly planning a summer wedding, probably in Kentucky but who knows. We know Cooke works for a New York art gallery and we know that Jennifer seems happy. While she was promoting X-Men: Dark Phoenix, she also said vague words about how Cooke is the ?best person I?ve ever met in my whole life,? which makes him sound like a firefighter or a brain surgeon or something. I mean, it?s possible he?s a really good guy, but also: from what little we know of him, he sounds like a dude who came from a wealthy family and now works in the art world. So I was interested in hearing how else Jennifer would describe this dude and? well, she keeps going on about how he?s the greatest guy she?s ever met. It?s very? weird. But at least her wedding plans sound no-drama.
Jennifer Lawrence isn?t sweating her wedding planning. The 28-year-old star opened up to friend and former E! News reporter Catt Sadler on this week?s podcast Naked with Catt Sadler about organizing her wedding to fianc Cooke Maroney. Lawrence revealed she wasn?t nervous about her wedding day ? and that she?s already picked out a dress.
?I?ve been in a good place,? she said. ?I haven?t been neurotic about it. I?m like too lazy to be neurotic. I saw a dress I liked and I was like, ?That?s the dress.? I saw a venue and I was like, ?Cool, we got a venue.?
Though she?s been taking wedding planning in stride, Lawrence said she had one ?bridezilla moment? recently, while organizing her bachelorette party. ?I thought I didn?t want to have a bachelorette party, and then last minute I decided I did. Then nobody was available because it was last minute. And then I started crying. I was like, ?I don?t even know why I?m crying. I didn?t know that I wanted a bachelorette party. I guess I just feel pathetic.? [Maroney] was like, ?Oh my god, you don?t need to feel pathetic.?
The Oscar-winning actress also gushed about Maroney, 34, saying, ?He?s the greatest human being I?ve ever met. He really is, and he gets better. He?s the greatest person I?ve ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney.?
