These are new pics of Julianne Hough at last night?s premiere of Safe Haven, that stupid-looking Nicolas Sparks-adaptation. I can?t decide if I think people are going to see this film in droves (Valentine?s Day, romance, etc) or if moviegoers are going to continue their total rejection of Julianne Hough as a film actress, regardless of what movie roles Ryan Seacrest buys for her. Julianne wore this Alberta Ferretti dress which I could have sworn was Marchesa, which sucks for Ferretti, right? The dress is pretty enough. It?s fine. I really dislike her hair though! Her hair is really bugging me and I can?t even figure out why.

Kris Humphries’s lawyer filed some paperwork yesterday, and I?m struggling to make sense of what it means legally. I think Kim Kardashian?s lawyer is still trying to wrangle a faster divorce, and Kris?s lawyer filed some papers to say why it should NOT be a quick divorce?? Something something. Here?s TMZ?s story:
Kris Humphries just filed legal docs saying he doesn’t understand the urgency for a quick divorce, and he shouldn’t have to jump just because Kim Kardashian got accidentally knocked up.
Kris’ lawyer, Marshall Waller, says in the docs, “What is really going on here is that an ‘urgency’ in the form of an apparently unplanned pregnancy, something [Humphries] had nothing to do with, is perceived by [Kim] as an opportunity to gain a litigation advantage by trying to force this court to prematurely set this matter for trial.”
And get this … after the word “pregnancy” there’s a footnote that reads, “Indeed, why would [Kim] plan to get pregnant in the midst of divorce proceedings?”
Translation — Waller thinks Kim is putting a gun to his client’s head, which is bizarre because the divorce has dragged on for well over a year for a marriage that lasted 72 days.
Waller says Kim shouldn’t worry about the legal presumption that Kris is the father of Kim’s kid because she got pregnant while they were still married — Waller says Kris is happy to stipulate he’s not the daddy.
Kris says in the docs he wants to be present for Kim’s deposition and has a right to be there, but due to his work schedule he’s unavailable until mid-May or June.
We’re guessing the judge is going to lose patience at the trial setting conference and set the divorce trial for March.

Kris?s lawyer made sure to note that Kim?s pregnancy is “something (Humphries) had nothing to do with.” So? bear with me (I?m on heavy-duty decongestants)? yeah, I was right. Kim was trying to speed up the divorce yet again and Kris?s lawyer is all ?She just wants to speed up the divorce because she?s pregnant, and not with her legal husband?s baby, because she?s kind of slutty.? And the judge is all ?Um, really? Let?s set this crap for March.?
But this isn?t Kim?s only legal/PR play ? just after Kris?s lawyer came out, TMZ reported this ?Pity Poor Kim? piece that quite honestly sounds like something from Duchess Kate?s playbook:
Kim Kardashian’s doctor thinks Kim’s unborn baby may be at risk, because of the stress Kris Humphries is causing by dragging out their divorce … TMZ has learned.
Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ … several days ago Kim called her doctor in the middle of the night to come to the house because she was having severe pains. The doctor examined her, but then warned he believed the problems were largely stress-related.
Sources say … the only significant stress in her life right now is the divorce. And hours before her meeting Tuesday with her lawyer, disso-queen Laura Wasser, Kim’s pains returned in full force.
The doctor warned Kim she needs to handle the stress or else there could be “long-term effects.” The doctor did not elaborate, but we’re told Kim is freaked out her baby may be at risk.

Of course it?s perfectly possible that Kim is feeling a lot of stress and that her doctors are worried about her. But announcing it like this, to TMZ, right after Kris?s lawyer counters? it?s a PR move. Still, I do hope Kim?s pregnancy will be healthy. Prayers for Kat-Face!

By now I?m sure you?ve heard about Beyonce?s latest gift to her public ? her publicist sent an email to Buzzfeed demanding/requesting that they take down several unflattering photos of Beyonce as she performed at the Half-time show. It wasn?t a standard ?take-down notice? which every blog gets at some point when the origin of a photo is up for grabs ? this was just an attempt from Team Beyonce to control what copyrighted Getty images were used in stories about Beyonce, and she had no rights over the images. All of the photos Beyonce wanted pulled are ones where she?s making ?RAWR! COME AT ME!!? faces. You can see the pics here.
But that?s not the only controversy about Beyonce these days. Apparently, PETA is all up on Bey because for Bey?s two major public appearances in 2013, she?s worn animal skins.
Beyonc is in trouble with PETA. Again. The animal rights group is angry at Bey for shaking and shimmying in a Rubin Singer leather bodysuit, made of python, paneled iguana and leather.
?We would take a bet that if Beyonc watched our video exposs, she’d probably not want to be seen again in anything made of snakes, lizards, rabbits or other animals who died painfully. Today?s fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, and Beyonc?s Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score.?
PETA was also furious with the singer after she wore a three-quarter-length Christian Dior mink coat to sing at the inauguration.
The group adds that the ?game was great? however, and expressed love for Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs, who just joined PETA in protesting the fur industry by starring in their new ?Ink, Not Mink? campaign.

Did you know her Half-time bodysuit was made out of python and iguana? That just seems completely random, especially since it just reads on camera like plain old leather. Why go so fancy (iguana?!) when it just looks like regular leather? As for Beyonce wearing mink at the Inauguration ? yeah. She did that. Most people didn?t notice because she took off her mink coat for photos and she ?performed? (lip synced) without the coat, in just the Pucci gown.

These are some photos from a few days ago of Miley Cyrus in attendance at the music video shoot for Lil’ Kim and Tiffany Foxx’s “Twisted.” I’ve got no idea whether or not Miley was dressed to appear in the video or if she just chose this wacky, jailbird-esque outfit of her own volition. I’m just happy that her butt cheeks aren’t hanging out this time.
Now onto the topic de jour, which is Miley’s hair, which still defies reason, but she apparently likes it a lot. So much so that she never wants to ever grow her hair out again, which I guess is a good idea for the simple fact that a very short crop like Miley’s would be terribly awkward to grow out at all. Here are Miley’s thoughts on the topic:

Miley does make sense here, and I can understand why she’d be tired of all the “Hannah Montana” hair that she maintained throughout her Disney run. To Miley, short hair represents adulthood and making her own way, and I agree with her that sewn-in extensions are creepy. That bit about her not hardly washing her new ‘do is pretty gross though. I’m guessing that she’s not even a fan of dry shampoo from the way she describes her “grungy” new hair habits. Gross.

These are some photos from 2006, from a trip to Ibiza Prince William took with then Kate Middleton (his girlfriend of some-odd 3 or 4 years) and some friends. These are some of the rare photos we have of William and Kate?s many, many vacations of their on-and-off 11 years together. When they were just ?dating,? they averaged about six to eight major vacations a year (not including weekend getaways), often with Kate?s parents and sometimes with William?s father. Since getting married in 2011, Kate and William have managed to keep up with their pre-engagement vacation schedule, even lying about their commitments or pushing aside royal duties so they could maintain their lay-about lifestyle.
Why bring this up? Because Prince William and Duchess Kate are on vacation right now. SHOCKING. They are in Mustique with Kate?s parents ? this is one of the Middletons? annual traditions, going to Mustique in January or February when, like, no one else has time off. I don?t really get it.
MUM-to-be the Duchess of Cambridge has jetted to the Caribbean for a holiday with Prince William after recovering from her morning sickness, The Sun can reveal.
Kate, 31 ? who was hospitalised in December ? is staying at a 19,000-a-week villa on the island of Mustique.
The luxury pad boasts an infinity pool, games room and stunning views of the Caribbean Sea. And the royal couple also have Kate?s parents Michael and Carole staying nearby.
Last night a source revealed: ?The Duke and Duchess have joined the Middletons for a winter break. Both William and Kate were hoping her condition would not stop her from making the eight-hour flight to Barbados and the connection to Mustique. A month ago such a journey would have been unthinkable for her, so this is a clear sign she has made a virtual recovery.?
Kate and Wills, 30, have enjoyed more than six holidays on Mustique since they started dating. It was a favourite hideaway for his great aunt Princess Margaret.

They are staying at a $30,000-a-week villa, and Poor Brave Kate needs to be applauded for being so BRAVE as to undertake a grueling 8-hour flight? so that she could take a vacation. Again. The poor thing!
Hilariously, St. James Palace had to do some quick counter-programming because they knew the vacation story was going to break, so they released information yesterday that Kate (the poor, delicate, brave little sausage) was going to undertake her second public appearance on February 19th. That will be her second official public appearance in three months, I believe.
Kate Middleton isn’t scaling back her royal responsibilities. The pregnant Duchess of Cambridge will visit Hope House, Action on Addiction, in London on Tuesday, Feb. 19, St. James’ Palace announced on Tuesday, Feb. 5. This will be the 31-year-old’s second official appearance since announcing her pregnancy in December 2012.
Middleton will meet clients and staff at the 23-bed residential treatment center. Action on Addiction offers a safe place for women to recover from substance abuse; they are also given additional support for other compulsive disorders. Prince William’s pregnant wife became a patron of Action on Addiction in January 2012.
The mom-to-be has been seen in public only a handful of times since revealing her baby news late last year. She attended the unveiling of her first official portrait at the National Portrait Gallery on Jan. 11. “I thought it was brilliant,” Middleton told curators of the painting, created by Glasgow-born, South African-raised artist Paul Emsley.
In the following weeks, Middleton was spotted purchasing maternity clothes at JoJo Maman Bebe and browsing the racks at Reiss. Due in July, the duchess also emerged from Kensington Palace to order a drink from Starbucks and take her dog Lupo for a walk.
While royal parents have historically hired full-time teams to assist with newborns, Middleton and her 30-year-old husband want to handle the bulk of the childrearing, a source recently told Us Weekly: “They want to be as hands-on as possible.”

So Kate is so brave, so resilient, so tough, so amazing, so admirable to be shopping until she drops all over London, then jetting off for a tropical vacation, and then we have to be super-grateful that she deigns to make one public appearance every eight weeks or so? Seriously ? what in the world is up with William and Kate?s publicity team? They are really crappy at their jobs. They wouldn?t have to work this hard if just one of them would sit down with William and Kate and tell them directly: ?Stop taking so many vacations. Do some actual work. People will like you more if you stop looking so damn lazy.?

And by the way, it's such a horrible -- women should not be expected to bounce back ... it's a, I think, a true disservice what's going on right now with all these celebrity moms ... first of all, I just want to remind people that celebrities generally are genetically superior human beings on a certain level anyway ... they're mostly thin, you know, they got trainers, they work out, they've got money, they've got the ability, you know, and they are normally genetically predisposed to being thin people anyway, so like these women who are holding up, you know, certain people as their benchmark after they've had a child, like just go be with your kid for a minute ... don't get to the gym right away. It's alright. This is not how it's supposed to be, everybody. Calm down."
