I guess Bella Thorne‘s pants region has fully recovered from yesterday’s Snapchat wax adventure, because here she is back posting videos of her doing squats in her underwear.Although, speaking of pants regions, mine is probably going to take a little extra timeto recover after this. Give me 30, 45 seconds max.

| Kim Kardashian feels like the Paris robbery was 'meant to happen to me' | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Kim Kardashian appears on today?s Ellen Show. Even though Keeping Up with the Kardashians covered Kim?s Paris robbery, this is the first real interview Kim has done about the robbery. Meaning, this is the first time Kim has spoken directly about it in public, to a professional interviewer. The clip isn?t online yet but E! News had a lot of the quotes from the interview. Kim talks about how she feels like the robbery was ?supposed to happen? to her to get her to wake up and stop being so materialistic. Some quotes:
She feels like it was meant to happen to her: “I know this sounds crazy, but I know that was meant to happen to me. I don’t want to start crying, but I feel like that was so meant to happen to me. I’m such a different person. I, um…I don’t want to start crying anymore. It was meant to happen to me. I really feel like things happen in your life to teach you things. It was probably no secret, and you see it on the show?I was being flashy and I was definitely materialistic before.?
On success & materialism: ?[There?s nothing inherently] bad with having things and working hard to get those things, and I’m really proud of everyone around me that’s successful? but I’m so happy that my kids get this me and that this is who I’m raising my kids [as]. ‘Cause I just don’t care about that stuff anymore. I really don’t. Like I said, everyone gets so excited when they get things. Or, of course when you get engaged, you’re going to show off your ring. If you get a new car?I don’t care what kind it is?you get so proud and you get so happy and you show that off on social media. But it’s just…it’s not worth it. Like, I don’t care about that stuff. I don’t care to show off the way that I used to. Even though there’s nothing wrong, truly?it’s OK if you’re proud of that and you work so hard and you get something?it’s just not who I am anymore.”
The robbers had been tracking her for years: “It was almost 2:30 in the morning. But what was crazy is meeting with my attorneys and knowing the information that I know now, they had been following me for two years. They had been hearing interviews that I did, getting excited about this jewelry or this jewelry, and saying that it’s real. It’s not to say that I’ll never wear jewelry again or anything like that, [but] I truly don’t know if I’d ever feel comfortable. I don’t know if I’d ever wear real jewelry again. Just…my whole life as changed as far as how I travel and security. I never thought that I needed security staying outside my door, even though I had a lot of jewelry. If you think about it, yeah, I should have had a security guard outside my door 24/7 when I’m traveling and I didn’t. Now, I have several, just for me to be able to sleep at night.”
What she felt when she realized what was happening: “Automatically, your stomach dropped. It’s a feeling you can’t even explain. Like, I knew that was it for me. I said a prayer, like, ‘I know I’m going to heaven. I hope my kids are OK, and my husband.’ I don’t want to cry; you’re making me cry. But it does happen really fast. It was a good seven or eight minutes of torture, but when I look back and I analyze it, I’m like, ‘OK, they weren’t aggressive.’ It could have been way worse, so I don’t want to sound like I’m not grateful. I’m out, I’m home, I’m safe, I’m such a better person?it’s OK. Let’s move on.”
[From E! News]
I was suspicious at first that Kim would merely go through a phase where she was less showy, and then she would revert back to her old put-it-all-out-there self. But? is it weird that I think she actually has changed? I don?t think this was ?meant to happen? in the sense of ?this was fated, the universe wanted to teach her a lesson.? Because I don?t think the universe cares about Kim Kardashian. But I do think she learned some lessons and I don?t know, I buy her transformation.
Kim also talked sh-t about Caitlyn Jenner in this interview. Apparently, none of the Kardashians are here for Caitlyn?s memoir and Kim says flat-out that Caitlyn is lying her ass off.

| Emma Watson in Monique Pean at 'The Circle' premiere: basic or beautiful' | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Have you seen the commercials for The Circle? The movie is about a young woman (played by Emma Watson) who begins working for a mysterious tech company, and – spoiler? – the company is working on this crazy surveillance program. I think Emma plays the potential whistleblower and then the company comes after her or whatever. While the surveillance-state and surveillance-capitalism is part of our everyday lives, I don?t think the film looks good at all.
Anyway, these are photos from last night?s Tribeca Film Festival premiere. Emma wore Monique Pean – a simple and presumably eco-friendly look. I have to say that following the Beauty and the Beast promotional tour, I think Emma has finally found a styling vibe that really works for her. She?s figured out her hair, she?s figured out what silhouettes look best on her, and she?s figured out her ?style story,? you know?
Also at this premiere: Karen Gillan in a crazy, structured Vika Gazinskaya. This is? interesting. At least it?s not some boring tube dress.
Jennifer Morrison wore Opening Ceremony. This is horrible.
Here?s the trailer for The Circle. I like the appearance by John Boyega!

| Lea Michele: 'I?ve never eaten fast food. I do not drink soda. I don't eat candy' | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Lea Michele has a new interview with E! and she’s promoting her upcoming second album, Places, which is out this week. I just listened to the first single, “Love is Alive,” and it’s so syrupy yet serious. I’m not a fan. E! has a video of their talk with Lea up on their site and it’s interesting to see how quickly she talks and to hear her voice. She repeats a claim that she’s made before in which she says she works out to eat whatever she wants and that she doesn’t limit herself, however she then says that does not include any fast food or candy.
“I love working out. I work out to feel good but also so I can eat whatever I want,” she admits. “I want to be able to enjoy myself. I’m Italian. I like to eat big meals. I love red wine. And you know also when you’re traveling and stuff like that I like trying new restaurants and going on adventures, so I can’t limit myself.”
Like any healthy lifestyle, however, Lea has foods she tries to avoid. “I’m good in the sense that I’ve never eaten fast food. I do not drink soda. I don’t eat candy,” she shares. “Like my house is healthy, so when I’m saying I’m eating a lot it’s like good food that’s worth it.”
In addition to feeling her best, Lea shares she’s also living her best. “I feel like I’m in such an incredible place in my life right now, and there’s definitely those personal songs on the album and especially my concerts,” she says of her music. “I break down the songs and I tell everyone what they’re about, so that’s where I get really personal and that’s where I open up.”
She continues, “I try to keep my life as private as I can, but my music is where I really open up, and maybe we’ll Taylor Swift a few people left and right.”
[From E! Online]
I don’t see how it’s eating whatever you want if you don’t eat fast food or candy. I surely have a sugar addiction but candy is the best. Also a little fast food won’t derail your diet if you eat less calories than you burn. She’s never had it ever? Lea sounds like one of those people who has a lot of rules around food but still think they’re letting loose because they eat full-ish meals. One of my favorite youtube trainers, Jessica Smith, recently published a balanced article against food moralizing. It really captured my approach to eating. Smith writes “To me, terms like ?clean eating? or ?cheat days? imply that there are good and bad foods or right or wrong ways to eat. Personally, I don?t subscribe to any specific method or way of eating. I just like to eat.” She also adds that it’s a personal decision, which is of course true, and that she ascribes to moderation. This is just common sense to me but so many people think there are “forbidden” foods. When celebrities say things like “I eat healthy, I don’t keep any junk in the house,” it puts a value on certain foods as good or better than others. There’s some truth to that, some foods are more nutrient dense, but I don’t think any foods should be off limits unless you’re limiting them due to allergies or personal philosophy.
Kudos to Lea for using “Taylor Swift” as a verb though.

| Rosario Dawson gushes over her new boyfriend, comedian Eric Andre | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

This pic is of Rosario Dawson at the premiere of her film Unforgettable. Although I generally like gold dresses, I do not like this gold dress that much. The bust looks like a shelf and I like the slit but not the fanfare at the top. Unforgettable is a thriller in which Rosario plays the fiance and soon-to-be stepmom to Katherine Heigl?s character?s ex-husband. Apparently Katherine’s character does not care for the new arrangements and is a psychopath who sets out to destroy Rosario in every way imaginable. You can watch the trailer here. I was pretty interested in the film until the reviews came out. They are? not good. But Rosario need not worry about bad reviews as she has plenty to keep her busy with her reoccurring role of nurse Clare Temple in all the Marvel TV series. If that isn?t enough, she has a new shoulder to cry on as well. The world discovered on Valentine?s Day this year that Rosario and comedian Eric Andre are a thing. I don?t know how long they have been together but this Valentines post was when they became social media official:

It seems Selena Gomez is getting a jump start on the old ?summer hairdo? thing, sporting a short, textured bob on an Instagram post on Tuesday. The 24-year-old singer didn?t include a caption on the post, which left fans and followers wondering if the pictures were older or if Selena was just testing the look with a wig.

| Chinese workers earn $62 a week making Ivanka Trump's clothing line | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

It?s not like this information is new or shocking, but I want to make sure that the Trump family?s incessant hypocrisy and immorality doesn?t go unnoticed. It?s important not to normalize this sh-t through shrugs, eye-rolls and ?everybody knew that.? So, Ivanka Trump?s clothing line? It?s made in China. We knew that. More specifically, Ivanka?s line is made in Chinese sweatshops with workers making about $62 a week. We don?t know that specifically, although I think most of us assumed it was that kind of situation. The Washington Post reports:
Workers at a factory in China used by the company that makes clothing for Ivanka Trump?s fashion line and other brands worked nearly 60 hours a week to earn wages of little more than $62 a week, according to a factory audit released Monday. The factory?s 80 workers knit clothes for the contractor, G-III Apparel Group, which has held the exclusive license to make the Ivanka Trump brand?s $158 dresses, $79 blouses and other clothes since 2012. The company also makes clothes for Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and other brands.
Now an official adviser to her father?s White House, Trump stepped down from her management role but retains an ownership interest in her name-brand company. Its assets were moved into a trust that is now overseen by her husband?s siblings. Trump is the sole beneficiary of the trust, which is valued at more than $50 million.
Chinese factories are by far the dominant suppliers for Ivanka clothes, though G-III also works with manufacturers across Vietnam, Bangladesh and South America. G-III factories overseas have shipped more than 110 tons of Ivanka-brand blouses, skirts, dresses and other garments to the United States since October, shipping data shows. The clothing line licensed by President Trump?s private business is also almost entirely made in foreign factories. Trump last week signed an executive order that he said would push the government to ?aggressively promote and use American-made goods and to ensure that American labor is hired to do the job.?
Workers at the G-III factory in China were required to work 57 hours a week ?on a regular basis? to hit production targets, inspectors found. Though Chinese law sets the limit for overtime at 36 hours per month, workers in all of the factory?s departments exceeded that limit, working up to 82 hours of overtime a month between September 2015 and August 2016. The factory?s workers made between 1,879 and 2,088 yuan a month, or roughly $255 to $283, which would be below minimum wage in some parts of China. The average manufacturing employee in urban China made twice as much money as the factory?s workers, or roughly 4,280 yuan a month, according to national data from 2014.
[From WaPo]
WaPo also says that fewer than a third of the factory?s workers are given social insurance benefits and workers only got five days of ?leave? a year. While it?s not breaking news that Ivanka?s clothing line is made in Chinese sweatshops – nor should it come as a surprise that most brand-name clothes are made in similar sweatshops – it is particularly noteworthy at this time because of Emperor Bigly?s big push for America First, bring back our manufacturing jobs, etc. It?s also noteworthy because Ivanka just announced this week that she?s started a ?massive fund? to benefit female entrepreneurs around the world. The fund will be a ?pool of capital? to finance businesses started by women. No one knows who will control the money (Precious Ivanka, I bet) but we already know that Canada, Germany and ?a few Middle Eastern countries? have made ?quiet commitments? to the fund. If only there was some way to encourage female entrepreneurs in China? Like, paying female sweatshop employees a living wage, maybe.
