She was sentenced to 30 days in the Los Angeles County Jail earlier this morning (November 2) but, according to a more recent report, Lindsay Lohan will be in and out of jail within minutes.
Officials from the L.A. County Sheriff?s Department told TMZ, ?If someone receives a misdemeanor sentece of 90 days or less, they are routinely processed in and then released.?
Even though the judge said that the sentence can only be reduced if required by law, the officials tell that there's a federal court order on overcrowding that "trumps everything," and that order has been interpreted to immediately release people with short jail sentences.
All in all, the ?Mean Girls? actress will be in and out of jail ?without even having to change her clothes.?

She?s conquered the world of film, and now Megan Fox has her sights set on the live stage genre.
Spotted out running errands on Wednesday (November 2) in skin-tight black leggings and a black top accented with ruby red platform heels, the ?Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen? babe will make her debut on November 14th in the ?24 Hour Plays? project.
Fox will join fellow celebrities like Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer, Tracy MOrgan, Jesse Eisenberg, and Gabourey Sidibe in the annual fundraiser to benefit the Urban Arts Partnership.
And depending on how things go, Ms. Fox may even snag a role in an established Broadway production.

Lindsay Lohan showed up to court today and admitted she violated her probation by not showing up to therapy sessions as required by the court and by getting kicked out of the Downtown Women’s Center.
For this, Judge Sautner sentenced Lindsay to 30 days in jail which as already been whittled down to 6 days by the Sheriff’s Department. Hilarious since earlier Sheriff Lee Baca said he’d make room for her in jail and even recommended 60 days.
As for her community service, she’ll now have to serve it all at the morgue and will have to follow a strict schedule because Lindsay was obviously going to try and cram all her hours in at the last minute.
Judge Stephanie Sautner gave Lindsay a strict schedule on completing the rest of her probation — by December 14, she must have completed 12 days at the morgue and 4 psychotherapy sessions. By January 17, another 12 days at morgue and 4 psychotherapy sessions. And so on. Everything must be completed by March 29 — or she goes directly to jail for 270 days.
The judge clearly thinks Lindsay needs a rigid structure to complete her sentence, and as the judge put it, Lindsay is holding the keys to the jail cell. TMZ
Lindsay won’t be starting her sentence just yet though. The judge granted a delayed sentencing to allow Lindsay to finish her Playboy shoot. Lindsay’s lawyer told the judge if she went to jail now, she’d be in breach of a near $1 million contract.
Whew. Thank god the judge realized how important it was for Lindsay to wave her tits in front of a camera or else this would have been a disaster.

Ready to face the consequences of her actions, Lindsay Lohan made her scheduled appearance at the Los Angeles Courthouse on Wednesday morning (November 2).
The troubled actress was flanked by her lawyer and police escorts as she made her grand entrance ahead of a hearing before Judge Stephanie Sautner.
Lindsay is in court after having her probation revoked due to the fact that she was kicked out of the Downtown Women's Center - where she failed to appear for multiple scheduled community service sessions.
Reports tell that LiLo is aware that she'll be sent to jail - with her legal team now trying to fight for the least possible amount of time behind bars.
According to TMZ, Lohan will be pleading for two weeks in the slammer though the LA District Attorney plans to ask for a much longer stay.

She explained, "I'm single ... It's actually weird being single but I actually really like it, I don't have to answer to anybody ... Everybody's always saying to me, 'Kate why don't you just stay single?' And I don't know why but I always move from one to the other to the other and I haven't this time."

The ?Get Smart? gal reunited with her ?Princess Diaries? costar Julie Andrews as she posed for the press outside Cipriani 42nd Street.
And of course, Ms. Hathaway was all gussied up in a beige and silver Valentino gown teamed with a pair of champagne high heels.
During the course of the evening, Anne introduced a tribute to Ms. Andrews, who subsequently was given the Prince Rainier III Award.

Linnocent is going back to jail! But it?s a mixed bag of a sentence. Part of me thinks the Cracken got off easy. Part of me thinks the judge is giving her enough rope to hang herself, so to speak. The sentence is basically as follows: 30 days in jail, non-negotiable, as soon as Linnocent turns herself over within the next week; from there, the judge set a timetable for Linnocent to complete 12 full days at the morgue a month, plus four therapy sessions a month, and if LL doesn?t complete either each month, this ?probation? is automatically revoked, a warrant goes out for LL?s arrest, and she will have to immediately start a 270-day jail sentence. So, 300 days in jail, with only 30 days in jail guaranteed. Here are some random thoughts:
*LL was wearing vintage, with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. And no bra? It didn?t look like her girls were contained. Saggy.
*She apparently told people that she was ?sick? with ?food poisoning from some bad shrimp?. She was barfing all night or something. Sure? ?shrimp?. Must be a new drug I haven?t heard of.
*She doesn?t have to do any more community service hours at any place other than the County Morgue.
*Linnocent copped to violating her probation by not attending therapy and by getting kicked out of the Women?s Center.
*TMZ?s source inside the Sheriff’s Dept. says ?Lindsay will serve 20% of the 30 days — 6 days in jail.? - That?s from the 30 day sentence. Ugh.
*No tweeting, no press conferences. Those were both just judicial ?suggestions?.
*Linnocent was keeping tighter control over her spastic, crackface today. No bulging eyes, no kabuki makeup, just a lot of pouting, lip-biting and fake-eyelash batting.
*I LOVED that the Women?s Center said that they might take LL back, but the judge was like, ?No, I don?t want to put them through that.? I also loved that another women?s center was all ?That crackhead is a bad influence on these women.? Seriously, she?s a HORRIBLE influence.
*If she wants to leave the state for ?work? she has to prove to her new probation officer (her old one quit her crack ass) that she really will be ?working?. What, like provide receipts for the beejs?
Blah, blah? so, yeah, I?m kind of disappointed, especially because I don?t think LL will even end up in jail for a week. But! I know my Cracken. She?ll f–k up again. She?ll go all crackie and blow off some hours and then she?ll go to jail.

Kim Kardashian took to her blog yesterday to defend herself from accusations that her wedding was just a cash grab. She insists she married for love but at the same time says she was caught up in the hoopla.
I am trying not to read all the different media reports but it?s hard not to see all the negative ones. First and foremost, I married for love. I can?t believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show! I share so much of my life on a reality show, that contemplating whether to even film my wedding was a tough decision to make, and maybe it turned out to not be the smartest decision. But it?s who I am! We filmed Kourtney giving birth, Khloe getting married, break ups, make ups, our best moments and our worst moments. These were all real moments. That?s what makes us who we are. We share, we give, we love and we are open! Kim Kardashian
A tough decision to make? Khloe filmed herself giving birth. On a scale of 1 to 10 on how tough this decision was, it would be a 3. Of course she was going to film it, her whole life is about being a spectacle.
Everyone that knows me knows that I?m a hopeless romantic! I love with all of my heart and soul. I want a family and babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed in to something too soon. I believed in love and the dream of what I wanted so badly. I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and couldn?t get off when now I know I probably should have. I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn?t know how to and didn?t want to disappoint a lot of people.
Women, amirite?
I?m being honest here and I hope you respect my courage because this isn?t easy to go through. But I do know that I have to follow my heart. I never had the intention of hurting anybody and I accept full responsibility for my actions and decisions, and for taking everyone on this journey with me. It just didn?t turn out to be the fairy tale I had so badly hoped for.
At least it turned out better than what E! had hoped for. Cha-ching. Do I hear a new Kim Kardashian: Single Life show being pitched?
There are also reports that I made millions of dollars off of the wedding. These reports are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this. I?m so grateful to everyone who took the time to come to my wedding and I?ll be donating the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation.
Right. She said she didn’t make millions off the wedding. What about hundred thousands? Celebrities love to get technical.

While Ashton Kutcher reportedly had two flings with Brittney Jones and Sara Leal, Demi Moore may have just carried on her own affair with one of Ashton?s younger friends. A source reveals that Demi hooked up with sexy actor Ben Hollingsworth, according to In Touch magazine.
Demi, 48, met Ben, 27, when he moved from Canada to LA. He was a struggling actor and Demi made it her responsibility to help bolster his career.

Joined by her boyfriend Jason Trawick, the ?Toxic? songstress looked fabulous in a red top with a black high-waisted miniskirt and black stockings.
Britney and Jason took in a showing of ?Rock of Ages,? starring former ?X Factor? champion Shayne Ward.
After the performance, Ward tweeted, ?Met @britneyspears tonight. She was kind enough to come backstage and have a picture with us all. She was lovely and looks really well.xx?

As we discussed yesterday, Sarah Jessica Parker is still in Australia, promoting No One Cares How She Does It. Instead of trying to set up big ?premieres? the studio has just been making SJP do solo photo calls and press conferences, which is sad because the movie is a bomb and no one cares. Still, SJP gets an A for effort, and she?s been dressing up in a series of eye-catching ensembles, trying to tempt us into caring. Here is SJP in Melbourne yesterday, today or tomorrow (I never know with Australia), wearing a Chanel dress and a Philip Treacy satellite hat. Now, some of you think I have a hate-on for hats. Sometimes it is jealousy on my part - I can?t pull off hats, I don?t have the face for it, nor the appropriately-sized and shaped head. But I do enjoy a good hat or fascinator on the right girl. THIS is neither the right hat nor the right girl. This reeks of trying-too-hard. And I don?t mean this in the particularly vicious way it sounds, but why is SJP drawing so much attention to her face? If I was styling her, I would never allow her to wear something so large on her head, given her unconventional beauty (cough).
By the way, I?ve seen SJP work a hat and a fascinator before - I?m not opposed to her wearing something that flatters her and isn?t a giant satellite dish stuck to her head.

I understand Kaiser’s dislike for booties with skirts now that I see them on J.Love in this rather unflattering outfit. I have a pair of cute black booties, I have worn them with tights and a skirt, but sometimes they just look awkward. (I have this pair in black but I got them at Ruelala and they were a lot cheaper. Now I’m surfing for shoes, one of my favorite past times. Some of you read gossip at work, I look at shoes as an escape from the gossip.)
Anyway Hewitt worked the sidewalk like a catwalk while wearing a loose striped vest/shirt, black short shorts and tights with booties yesterday. We’ve seen time and again that the girl can’t dress, which kind of explains her affinity for Leger bandage dresses. Hewitt uses formula dressing on the red carpet, and even though I’m over those Leger dresses I think she works them well. She grabs a little designer purse (and she does like small purses, which make no sense to me as a mom) puts on a bandage dress and some heels and she’s ready to go.
So here’s she’s trying to mix it up with a larger bag and a put together everyday outfit that isn’t too dressy or too casual. She looks cute, but something’s off about this outfit as a whole. Also, look at how she’s walking all sexy, holding that script up like a prop and keeping her mouth open a little. It’s funny! She needs some attention, and I think she should try to get on Dancing With The Stars. I think she would be great on that show.

The last we heard of J.Love she was premiering her new much-younger looking boyfriend at an event last week. The guy was 27 and she’s 32, so the difference in their ages isn’t that big of a deal. It’s been a whole week so here she is strutting her stuff for the paps.
Oh and I almost forgot that J.Love and her boyfriend were Brad and Angelina for Halloween! We don’t have access to photos of their costumes (they’re at this link), but she got Angelina’s emerald dress just right and they even toted around a bunch of baby dolls. It was actually really funny. J.Love tweeted “I just wanna say that our brangelina costume from last night was purely paying homage to my one of my fav couples and there glamour. I think they are awesome and I love how big and sweet there family is. It was meant with no disrespect and all love!;)”
“There glamour” and how “sweet there family is.” The woman is 32 and a native English speaker and she doesn’t know the difference between there and their. It’s not a texting issue either because both words have the same number of letters. I bet she screws up they’re too, which is why she wrote out “they are.” Oh my.
Here she is in another costume as a cheerleader with her boyfriend dressed up as beer. I thought this might be a Laverne and Shirley thing, but I doubt it.

As we know, Jessica Simpson is a clothing, shoe and handbag mogul. She’s now taken to talking about her business, and her relationship, instead of going on about her bodily functions and hygiene. It’s a better media strategy to say the least. Soon-to-be mummy Jess covers the most recent issue of Lucky Mag. The interviewer met with her at her office, and they paint a picture of a thoughtful but goofy woman running a multi-million dollar business. It’s a nice turnaround for her. In Lucky, Jess talks about her weight gain being an issue in the tabloids, and says that being an average size helped her brand and earned her compliments from fans. She also said she’s “still confident” no matter her size. It’s a nice message actually.
When she started dating Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and gained some happiness weight, she was cruelly mocked by the press after she was shot in high-waisted jeans onstage at a country music concert. Simpson?s size became a newsstand seller and the subject of running jokes in tabloids and blogs: ?What happened to the hot chick from Newlyweds?? But everything seemed to shift when Simpson did the unthinkable: Instead of spending six hours a day on the Exercycle and going on a juice cleanse, she ditched that celebrity ideal and said, ?I like the way I look.?
And did women respond. Her fans rallied around her on Internet message boards (?No matter what size Jessica Simpson is she is gorgeous!?) and on the street: ?All kinds of women started coming up to me and saying what an example I was setting by not constantly dieting,? she tells me as we sit at a conference table in her airy, high-ceilinged showroom. Today, Simpson obviously enjoys her role as fashion mogul. ?I love this green!? she says, touching a piece of fabric pinned to a board in her showroom. The walls are decorated with enormous, gorgeous photos of Simpson modeling the clothes she designed. Below them hang inspiration boards with photos ripped from magazines, along with actual pieces of hers?a floral-top bikini is pinned to one board, a pair of aquamarine shorts is tacked up to another, bangles sway on a third. ?We should do a skirt like that,? she says, pointing to a photo of a model in a long denim skirt with a really high slit. As someone behind us takes notes, other people scurry past, opening Fed Ex shipments of fabric samples and scheduling a photo shoot involving a bathtub full of fake diamonds. Simpson says her personal shopping habits have changed: ?I?m more particular now because I know what things are costing the manufacturers. So I know when I?m getting ripped off!?
When I ask for specifics, she says, ?Mom, what?s that itchy fabric that I hate??
Tina, across the room, yells, ?Well, you?re not a big fan of stretched satin!?
Jessica says, ?Oh, gosh. But we sell so much of it!?
Tina holds up three bridesmaid-looking dresses in jewel tones. ?We have a beautiful array of stretched satin,? she says. ?And we sell the haboobie-joobies out of these things!? Everybody laughs.

So it sounds like Jessica’s mom is the brains of the operation. She couldn’t even remember the name of the fabric she hates. Meanwhile Jess says she’s in no hurry to get married at all. She told Lucky ?When I got engaged, everyone thought I would get married immediately, but I have not put a single dress on, and by the time this comes out I will not be married! We?re just enjoying being engaged right now?and that?s honest.” Well that’s another smart decision on her part, whether she made it consciously or Eric is getting cold feet or whatever. We’ve heard up until now that it’s Jessica who is putting off the wedding after she learned that she was pregnant, and that her family doesn’t approve of freeloader Eric.
This interview was conducted before Jessica made an announcement about the pregnancy, and of potential babies and possibly slowing down her business she said “I feel like I do chill out, but I also want to keep this going. If it has my name on it, I want my stamp of approval to be on it. I want to keep my customers coming back. I just read the entire Jessica Biel interview in the new issue of Elle Magazine, and I?ve come away with the overwhelming desire to give Jessica a hug. Not that I like her or respect her as a person or as an actress (I don?t on both counts), but I want to give her a hug because she sounds so pathetic and I feel bad for her. She?s very open about it too, which makes me feel something for her. It?s interesting to me that Biel talks so openly about all of the projects that she auditions for (even naming the projects) and how she rarely, if ever, scores the part. It?s like Hollywood is telling her loud and clear, ?You?re a supporting actress in action films, and maybe a television actress, nothing more? and she just simply REFUSES to listen. I admire her naked ambition, I guess, and I admire the fact that she?s so honest about it. But I also think she might need to listen to someone else?s advice.
On the role that got away: ?The Notebook. That?s one that I wanted so badly. I was in the middle of shooting Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and I auditioned with Ryan Gosling in my trailer - covered in blood. Nick Cassavetes put me through the wringer in an interesting, exciting way. But there?s a million that get away. We?re gluttons for punishment. It?s just rejection.?
On doing supporting roles in action films: ?I play make-believe for a living, and this business is based on imagination and fantasy. And yet a lot of people get stuck. People don?t see the possibility and potential.?
On dressing for the role she?s auditioning for: ?I?m thinking, This is a period piece. Or this person is an ex-addict in rehab. I need to walk in there and not have a great blowout and a great dress. And I?m always putting myself on tape. The people around you say, ?This is the one that?s going to change your career!? And then nothing happens. And you?re still doing what you?ve always done. I?m still dressing up and looking ridiculous. I just did three tapes while I was in Toronto for three different projects - and I didn?t get any of them. When there?s a great female part, there are 30 amazingly talented women gunning for it.?
On auditioning for Catwoman in the new Batman film: ?Another one that got away. I was gutted. I mean, to work with Christopher Nolan in that kind of role??
On her status with Justin Timberlake: “A girl doesn’t kiss and tell? there?s nothing that?s sacred anymore. Me not talking about my intimate personal life - there?s just a line that you have to say, I can?t go any further.?
On whether she plans to have children someday: ?Sure, of course. And, yeah, I think probably at some point it would be something I’m interested in. But I don?t feel pressured. I was never one of those girls who dreamt of my wedding and my Prince Charming. To piss off my mom, I used to say, ‘I’m never having kids, and I’m going to be a fabulously rich old maid living in a house with cute butlers and dogs.’”
On the lack of powerful female roles in Hollywood: “I think lots of roles for women are just not as developed as male roles. That’s just the truth. There are some that are incredible. But there are not enough. It’s not equal.”
On whether she’s considered leaving show business: “Absolutely. I’d love to write. I wrote a lot of short stories and poetry when I was a kid. That was my creative outlet. I’ve written a short film, and I write poetry.”
On whether she’d go nude for another movie role after “Powder Blue”: “I wasn?t so scarred by that experience that I’d never do it again. If a director I trusted came to me with an amazing opportunity and it felt organic, I would do it.”
On the last time she felt terrified: ?I felt terrified when I was auditioning for Les Miserables, the movie that Tom Hooper is doing. I was terrified to sing in front of him. I auditioned for Fantine, and I sang ?I Dreamed a Dream.? I didn?t get it. I would have loved it.?

So, she auditioned for The Dark Knight Rises, Les Mis, The Notebook, and basically EVERYTHING else. There is not one film out in theaters right now that Jessica did not audition for. On one side, I understand the ?nothing ventured, nothing gained? mentality, as well as the ?if you throw enough sh-t against the wall, something will stick? theory for Biel?s career. But seriously, her agents might need to sit her down and explore some hard truths. She can be as ambitious as all get-out, but at the end of the day, the parts that Biel really wants are always going to go to more talented actresses. Maybe she should spend less time making tapes and dressing up for auditions and more time in acting classes?

I think it was the illustrious J-Wowww who compared reconciling with an old boyfriend to reheating cooked pasta. It’s a good analogy, really, because an old flame can seem familiar and comforting but much blander and staler the second time around. When we’re talking about Richie Sambora, I guess it’s more like reheating spoiled meat though. He never was a catch and never will be, although I guess a drunken rocker can seem like an awesome boyfriend when you compare him to a drugged out TV star who hires hookers he finds on the Barely Legal adult film series.
Anyway last year The Enquirer was claiming that these two were together over the summer, I had forgotten about that. They were first linked in 2006, broke up about a year later, and now they’re supposedly together yet again, according to The Enquirer’s sister site, Radar Online. I doubt they’ve been together since last summer this go-round. I bet Denise just calls her tabloid contacts whenever she has dinner with Richie. Here’s more:

Bombshell beauty Denise Richards is back together with her ex-boyfriend Richie Sambora, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
?They are dating again,? a source close to the couple revealed.
Richards, 40, and Sambora, 52, dated in 2006 following their divorces from Charlie Sheen and Heather Locklear, respectively, but broke up in 2007.
Now it seems like the pair have reconciled again, following a romantic dinner at Tatsuki sushi restaurant in Woodland Hills, California on Sunday night. ?They were there over an hour and they had the whole place to themselves for the last half hour.?
Denise and Richie walked by a tattoo parlor on the way out of the restaurant and he joked to Denise, ?What do ya think, should I get one?? and she laughed.
?It is serious but they are trying to keep it low key,? the source told RadarOnline.com about the on again couple.

The “low key” crap is very similar to the story last year about how they were “staying out of the public eye because they didn?t want to become part of the media hoopla surrounding their ex-spouses.” Denise probably wants to hit up a few red carpets and have dinner at Mr. Chow but Richie is probably telling her “no.” So she’s telling Radar and The Enquirer that they’re trying to keep it “low key.”
This is mildly interesting to me on a “what is she thinking?” level. If Denise and Richie started getting papped together I think the collective response would be a shrug and she knows that. So… well played?

I?m so glad that I wrote about Zooey Deschanel last week, and that the post got so many comments. Zooey evokes strong reactions for and against. Some people think her hipster shtick is just an act, and that she?s a chick trying too hard to be different and precious. Other people think she?s genuine, and that she?s sort of cool. Well, fans and foes alike, did you know that she?s married? I didn?t, honestly. It?s not even something where I can say, ?Oh, I sort of remember that, vaguely.? I have no recollection of Zooey ever being married to Death Cab For Cutie?s Ben Gibbard. But she was, and now it?s over.
Hipster heartbreak. Just two years after tying the knot, Zooey Deschanel and Ben Gibbard have separated, Deschanel’s rep confirms to Us Weekly.
“It was mutual and amicable,” a source adds. “There was no third party involved.”
The New Girl actress, 31, and Death Cab for Cutie frontman, 35, got married near Seattle, Wash. in late September 2009.
In Deschanel’s September cover story in New York magazine, Gibbard gushed about meeting and pursuing the star, who also fronts the band She and Him. “I’d seen her movies and obviously I thought she was very beautiful,” Gibbard explained.
When their mutual music manager finally introduced them three years ago, “I was just awestruck that she was even talking to me.”
Deschanel told iVillage that it was “definitely hard” being apart from her indie rocker guy when he was away on tour. “He’s really good at calling. He’s probably better than I am. He’s a very conscientious person.”
What surprised her most about marriage life? “You can’t expect to make no effort. You still have to make the effort and be kind and understanding. It sort of just solidifies your commitment.”

Now I kind of wonder if Zooey and Ben have been ?over? for a while. She?s been doing a lot of red carpets and promotional work for The New Girl and a handful of film projects, and Ben was rarely at her side. Maybe he just did his own thing and they?re like the Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin of the hipster set, or maybe they were over really quickly, and she?s just announcing it now because???? I don?t know. I said before that Zooey is the kind of girl I would be annoyed with in real life, but I still come away feeling some sympathy for Zooey. Poor girl.

America’s indie darlings — I’m not sure if that’s accurate but I’d assume so — are getting a divorce. The whimsical woodland fairy, Zooey Deschanel, and the dulcet-toned indie rocker, Ben Gibbard, are ending their marriage of two years.
A rep for Zooey says the split is “amicable” and “mutual.” Though that remains to be seen. If Ben Gibbard’s next album is so depressing that you want to slit your wrists more than usual, then you know there might be hard feelings.
Sigh. And I thought these two were perfect for each other. I don’t know what to believe in anymore. *Tears off skinny jeans, cries*
