Stepping out for some marriage counseling, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale showed up at Dr. Adrien Survol Rivin?s office yesterday (October 8).
The ?Settle Down? singer and her rocker hubby looked a bit on the cranky side as the exited the building, signaling the ?rocky marriage? rumors to begin.
Given No Doubt?s recent album release, it makes sense that perhaps Gwen?s schedule has put a strain on their longtime union, though it?s encouraging that Stefani and Rossdale are being proactive about fixing things before they get out of hand.
During Gwen?s 43rd birthday bash with their kids Kingston and Zuma, the dynamic rockstar duo seemed just fine, so hopefully this is just a hiccup.

Hard at work on her new project, Nicole Kidman showed up on the set of ?Grace of Monaco? in Monaco this afternoon (October 9).
The ?Eyes Wide Shut? actress channeled the spirit of Grace Kelly as she filmed scenes centered on her involvement with Monaco?s Prince Rainier III under the direction of Olivier Dahan.
In a recent interview, Nicole confessed that while her ten-year marriage to Tom Cruise seemed fairly positive, she had a rough time overall.
?In those early years, it was like, ?I?m here and I?m clutching onto your arm, and it all feels a little overwhelming and really strange.? And I was shy. Deeply shy. I didn?t feel comfortable at all. But I felt very comfortable at home.?
On the other hand, Kidman eventually found her soul mate in Keith Urban. ?He just gave me confidence. Through just being very kind to me and understanding me, opening me up to trying things, my sexuality, those sorts of things? (He has) a bigger, stronger personality; that?s what I?ve been drawn to. The lovely Connie Britton covers the November issue of Redbook, and People Magazine has some advance quotes for us. I know Connie, 45, from American Horror Story, where we saw her character go through hell before finally achieving a macabre sort of peace. (I won’t give away any spoilers in case you have ambitions of watching the DVDs. I give it a B, it’s a fun, scary show that pulls you in, but it often seems ridiculous. I’m totally watching it this season!) Anyway we’ve seen Connie looking amazing on screen (I want her hair!) and having some hit and miss moments on the red carpet. It’s nice to see her styled so well in this photoshoot. Is that sweater photo an homage to Ann Margaret in Bye Bye Birdie? That’s what I’m reminded of when I see a gorgeous redhead in just a sweater, but I guess Ann’s was much different than this one.
In Redbook, Connie talks about her decision to adopt as a single mom, and says she realized that she didn’t need a man to have a child. Connie adopted a baby boy from Ethiopia last November. She also acknowledges that she’s just as horny as usual. That’s pretty much what I read into it, but of course she phrased it more delicately. Here’s more:
Connie Britton’s TV resum is nothing if not well-rounded.
The actress, 45, has played working mom Tami Taylor on Friday Night Lights, the haunted and troubled Vivien on American Horror Story, and now, she’ll portray fading country star Rayna James on the upcoming Nashville.
But for all her characters’ differences, Britton is keen on bringing one unifying characteristic to each of the roles.
“It’s important in whatever character I play that I show as many different levels of what it is to be a woman as I can. That includes being sexy!” Britton tells Redbook in its November issue.
“I want to get rid of the whole idea that women who are wives and mothers and working in the world no longer have any interest in their sexuality, because that?s not my experience.”
As for her experience with adoption (she brought home her son from Ethiopia in 2011) and sharing advice with other Hollywood moms who adopt, “me and Angelina and Sandra Bullock and Mary-Louise Parker just get together every weekend, drink ros and talk about kids! No, that is not the case,” jokes Britton.
“Not that I wouldn?t love to get together with all of them and discuss their experiences,” she adds. “But there is a community of people who have adopted children from Ethiopia, and that’s something I want to be a part of for sure. To me it’s really important for my son to have a strong sense of that background.”
Britton says she’s also got a strong sense of herself as a single mother ? even if that’s not the way she’d planned it.
“I always knew I wanted a child, and I always assumed I’d be doing it with a man ? Then my parents passed away within three years of each other,” says the actress.
“Right after that, a light bulb went off in my head and I thought, ‘What am I waiting for?’ I wasn?t in a relationship at the time, but I thought, ‘This is something I want to do. I can do it.’ “

This reminds me that “Nashville” premieres tomorrow night! I’m going to tape it. Also a lot of good shows are coming back now and it feels a little like Christmas. (Although I am really angered that NBC has pushed back what is likely to be the last season of Community. Screw NBC!) Anyway I like Connie and think she gives a fun interview. She’s not saying anything revelatory here, but she cracked a cute joke about hanging out with other celebrity adoptive moms and drinking wine. Isn’t Rose crap wine though? I don’t know, I don’t drink it.
Good for Connie for adopting a child when she had love to give. It sounds like she’s doing her best to make sure he stays connected to Ethiopia too.

Taking care of some promotional duties, Freida Pinto showed up at a photocall for her new film ?Desert Dancer? in London, England today (October 9).
Joined by choreographer Akram Khan, the ?Slumdog Millionaire? starlet was all smiles as she posed for photographers outside Sadler?s Well Theatre.
Starring Pinto along with Tom Cullen, Marama Corlett, Reece Ritchie, and Neet Mohan, ?Desert Dancer? is slated for a release date sometime in 2013.
Per the synopsis, ?Set in Iran, where dance is illegal, Desert Dancer tells the story of Afshin Ghaffarian (Reece Ritchie) who risked his life to fight for his dream to become a dancer. This film plays against the backdrop of the 2009 election protests, where the passion and defiance of a young generation lit the flame of revolution still sweeping the Middle East and Africa.?

Does anyone else watch It?s Always Sunny In Philadelphia? It?s not one of my can?t-miss favorites or anything, but it?s funnier than most of the network comedies on TV right now, and Danny DeVito is great on the show ? he plays the crazy, perverted criminal patriarch to a band of losers. I always thought that DeVito?s casting on the show was kind of genius ? even though Danny has played a lot of losers and malcontents in his career, most people have the warm-fuzzies for him whenever they see him, and the IASIP character subverts that. Anyway, it turns out that Danny might actually be kind of sleazy in real life. Taking a departure from her typical country flavor, Taylor Swift explores the dance genre with her newly-released single ?I Knew You Were Trouble.?
The ?Speak Now? songstress laments her lack of judgment over a guy, singing, "Once upon a time/ A few mistakes ago/ I was in your sights/ You got me alone/ You found me."
On a pre-recorded ?Good Morning America? video, Taylor explained, "It's a song that's one of my favorite songs on the album because it sounds just as chaotic as the feeling was when I wrote it.?
?It's a song about kind of being frustrated with yourself because you have your heart broken and you knew when you first saw that person you saw all these red flags and you just went for it anyway. So, shame on me."

Here are some semi-interesting photos of Kim Kardashian and a somber looking Kanye West walking together yesterday in Miami Beach. He doesn’t look especially thrilled to be holding Kim’s hand, and I have to wonder whether or not this pap walk is meant as damage control towards the rumors that Kanye is getting tired of Kim and that they might be cooling off. Wouldn’t it be odd if they actually broke up? They seem so perfect for each other in their mutual extreme narcissism and love of drama. Who would date either of them after the breakup? They basically have to stay together because I think they’ve already ruined themselves for other people at this point. Still, if anyone will do the dumping in this relationship, it would definitely be Kanye. I wonder when if and when it will happen though.
Another theory for this convenient pap walk might be some counterprogramming for the news that just came down involving Kim’s ex-boyfriend, Reggie Bush, who has received some interesting news of his own. That is, Reggie has impregnated his girlfriend of a year, Lilit Avagyan, according to In Touch. The creepy thing about this new development is that a lot of people think that Lilit physically looks a lot like Kim (they’re both Armenian too), and of course there are always those rumors that Kim really wants a baby with Kanye. Now she and Kanye might soon be over, and her ex is having a baby with her lookalike? So creepy:
Kim Kardashian’s ex Reggie Bush is about to become a daddy! In Touch can exclusively reveal that the Miami Dolphins running back is expecting a baby with his Kim look-alike girlfriend Lilit Avagyan!
“She is 100 percent pregnant,” an insider confirms to In Touch. “Reggie’s friends were saying to him, ‘At least you’ll have something to celebrate in 2013!’” referring to the slim chance that the Dolphins will be in next year’s Super Bowl.
According to the source, the couple has only told a small group of people about their exciting news, as the mother-to-be is only twelve weeks pregnant and is expected to give birth in April.
“She is extremely excited to become a mom, even though it wasn’t planned,” a friend of Reggie’s tells In Touch. And Reggie feels the same way. “He’s excited and can?t wait to announce it!”
Reggie began dating Lilit, who looks almost identical to Kim, nearly a year ago.

Meanwhile, Bossip is claiming that even though Reggie and Lilit have been together for over a year and “he moved her from L.A. to Miami so she could be on his arm during the NFL season,” he is totally “p-ssed about the whole situation.” Supposedly, they weren’t using protection, so I guess he’s just an idiot who thinks his girlfriend shouldn’t have “gotten herself” pregnant? These are some new photos of former governor Sarah Palin and her daughter Willow in Studio City, California on Sunday. I looked through the photos yesterday, but I couldn?t work up the courage to really write anything about them. My first reaction was actually ?Did Sarah Palin get a really bad makeover?? Despite my disagreements with her politics (and I?m studiously attempting to only discuss the superficial here, so play along), I consider Palin an attractive woman, but whatever is going on in these photos is not good. Those highlights look awful. Her clothes look? cheap. And dear God, she?s lost a lot of weight, right? She always had a nice figure. Maybe it?s just the combination of slim-cut jeans and those horrible wedges? She just seems drastically slimmer in these photos, thinner than I?ve ever seen her. What?s going on with her?
I?m assuming Sarah Palin and Willow were in California to support Bristol, who is on the current season of Dancing With the Stars. This photo agency, Fame/Flynet, must have followed Palin around the whole day, because they detail her movements precisely: ?Former Governor Sarah Palin spent the day with her daughter Willow in Studio City, California on October 7, 2012. The two stopped in to get facials and manicures at a nail salon, shopped at Kmart and stopped for some lunch at KFC.? That sounds like a really good day except for the Kmart shopping. Surely Gov. Palin can make a go of it at Walmart?? And I would think that KFC would be a great way to ruin a manicure.
Incidentally, Bristol Palin recently commented on Julianne Moore?s Emmy-winning performance as Sarah Palin in the Emmy-winning HBO movie Game Change. Bristol said, ?I don’t think she’s a good interpreter of my mom. I think my mom’s way hotter than that. She doesn’t have that accent. It’s all kind of silly. My mom’s awesome.” Far be it from me to tell the Palins their business, but I kind of think they should thank Julianne Moore for bringing some genuine pathos, intelligence, nuance and heart to the ?inside story? of the 2008 election. But whatever, it doesn?t really matter.

She finally showed it off, after months of playing hide-and-seek with the damn thing as she worked in North Carolina and New Mexico on her film We?re the Millers. Then, like magic, one little celeb-friendly photo agency hit the jackpot with some ?candid? photos of Jennifer?s be-ringed hand stroking Justin Theroux?s hipster face. First off, those photos were taken in Santa Fe, where Jennifer is still working on her movie. Justin came to visit her, and it feels like the first time they?ve seen each other since they got engaged in mid-August. Earlier reports claimed that Justin had chosen a ring that was ?not that huge? and rather ?understated? and that he had chosen the ring by himself. Do you believe that? As for the size and shape? I still can?t really tell. In the photos, it looks kind of like a giant quartz rather than a diamond. Could it possibly be a cabochon diamond? No. Of course not. It?s probably just a big ol? diamond. BIGGER THAN ANGELINA?S. More expensive! Bigger! More important! PAY ATTENTION TO ANISTON. Big diamond! BIG! Last week, we covered the Women?s Wear Daily exclusive on Brad Pitt?s Chanel contract, and how the new ad campaign would be dropping on October 15th, and how Brad probably got paid somewhere in the vicinity of $7 million for the campaign ? a figure that many of you took issue with. You know that Nicole Kidman got much more than that when she became the face of Chanel No. 5, right? She was reportedly paid $12 million for her appearances in commercials and the print campaign. But I digress. WWD said that Brad?s Chanel commercial would ?feature Pitt speaking in a way that the viewer assumes he?s speaking to a woman ? and then it?s revealed that the addressee is actually the scent.? I wrote, ?It might be kind of sexy. The commercial sounds like it?s just Brad talking dirty to a perfume. Which is kind of funny, and it could be really great.? Well, the teasers have come out, and it?s pretty much Brad talking dirty to a perfume:
It has potential. It could be good. I know this is going to become about how TOTALLY AWFUL Brad looks (?) and how ?Jennifer Aniston had him when he was hot? and all of that middle school stuff ? most of which I disagree with strenuously ? but can we all just admit to ourselves that Brad actually has a great voice? He has that Missouri drawl, it?s sort of Southern and low and it makes me tingly. His voice has improved over the years. I remember when it was a lot higher.
