The ?Walk the Line? actress showed up in Beverly Hills on Monday afternoon (March 24) to take care of her to-do list, and she couldn?t help but garner plenty of attention.
Reese teamed her black jacket, striped top and jeans combo with a snazzy pair of red suede heels and black Ray Ban sunglasses as she carried her pricey purse past the paparazzi.
Over the weekend, Ms. Witherspoon returned to Nashville where she and her mother celebrated her 38th birthday with a night of bowling.

Speaking of being cracked out of her skull, a lot of people have been talking about Lindsay?s OWN show and her interviews with Oprah Winfrey. I know a lot of people think Oprah gets what she deserves for signing on to the sinking ship that is the SS Crackie, but I do feel sorry for Oprah. Truly. I think Oprah is a true believer in that she really thinks that people can change, that if only she applies tough love and logic to the situation that she can force her will and change the situation. It?s like Oprah has never met a cracked-out wreck who doesn?t want to change, doesn?t see the need, and is only doing this for Oprah?s $$$.

Good lord? Cracken talking about her sobriety while looking strung out as f?k. Bulls?t. Lindsay?s lip injections are out of control too, to the point where she can?t even enunciate. Oh, and here?s Oprah cussing at the Cracken:
I?m less disturbed by Oprah?s dirty mouth and more disturbed by Lindsay?s dirty face.
Incidentally, Radar claimed last week that Lindsay had fired her sober coach just after she completed filming the OWN show, which? I mean, I think we can all believe that. But Lindsay claimed it?s a damn lie. We?ll see, crackie. We?ll see.

Back in December, Kristen Stewart was named as the new ?face? of Chanel?s Paris-Dallas Collection. She actually went to Dallas for the announcement, and she got to hang out with Karl Lagerfeld (again). Following that, Kristen took some friends to Paris for a few days while she (presumably) shot the campaign and did some shopping ? she was spotted around Paris carrying a $3400 Chanel bag, so it was totally a business trip for her.
Anyway, these are some of the first images from the campaign. Thoughts? First of all, these aren?t the official leaks from the campaign, at least I don?t think so. They come via Instagram, and I would imagine they are photos of the print ad campaign, just because the images don?t seem to be the best quality. Or maybe this is how the ads really look ? sort of blurry and gritty.
Regarding the clothes? very fringy, very ?Southwest?. Personally, I don?t care for that look ? I?ve never been into ?cowboy chic? or whatever and I don?t think I?ve ever owned anything with a fringe. But if you like that look, I would imagine that this is probably okay, or even wonderful. I do kind of love those black and white cowboy boots in the one shot. As for how Kristen looks? it?s not bad. I actually think she looks much better in these shots than she ever did for her Balenciaga campaigns.

Of all the women from The Hills, Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari seem to be the only ones with staying power. Audrina Patridge still shows up on gentlemen’s blogs with her killer bikini body, but we haven’t heard much about her otherwise. Once in a while there will be a story about Whitney Port, Lo Bosworth or Stephanie Pratt. And of course Heidi Montag was the biggest flame-out with her sad and bizarre tale of unnecessary plastic surgery, ridiculous overspending and a gross overestimation of her meager talent. In contrast, Lauren Conrad has written a few books, she’s done her lifestyle stuff and collaborated with Kohl’s without pushing it in our faces, and she’s won the race, slow and steady.
Here is Lauren looking lovely on the cover of April’s Allure. I really like her styling. She looks like one of Sean Connery’s Bond girls. Plus they’re making her look sexy without showing too much skin. Inside, Lauren gives some beauty and lifestyle advice and it’s all very breezy and easy to follow. Here’s some of what she said and I’m including quotes from her behind the scenes interview, available on E!:
She doesn’t wear eyeshadow and does a winged look with liquid eyeliner
I use Mark. I order them in bulk and keep them in my refrigerator. I go through one a month. My favorite mascara is Maybelline Full and Soft. I’ve used it forever.
She always uses hair extensions
I can’t remember the last time I didn’t have extensions. Extensions are great. And they’ve come so far in the last few years.
Her decorating style
If it was up to me, my home would be just over-the-top girlie and vintage, but I share my home with a gentleman now. I wanted [the bedroom] to be very calm. Your bed is for sleep and sex.
Her beauty and skincare routine
I think that the last year I’ve tried to just make it easy… I trade off between a really gentle cleanser and an exfoliant and then egyptian magic which is just amazing… I put it on all over my skin.
Her advice to keep it simple
I’ve learned just to pick one thing and go with it. If you’re going to do something a little crazier with your hair, just dial down your makeup. I think the same goes for your outfit. If you’re wearing something very simple then you can have a little more fun there [with your makeup]. I think it’s all just a balancing act when you’re putting your look together.
On her style
Take any trend you want and relax it. If it’s silk button-up shirts that are in, you probably don’t button them all the way, and you cuff a sleeve, you know what I mean? It’s almost like how your outfit looks at the end of the day.

Lauren is just very matter-of-fact and open, and you get the sense when she gives advice that you’re talking to your fashionable friend who doesn’t seem like she tries too hard. In a behind-the-scenes video available on E!, Lauren said that she does her own nails and doesn’t get manicures, but that she’ll get a pedicure. She also talked a little about wedding day beauty when she was asked about it, demurring at first because she hasn’t gone through it yet but then giving practical advice not to do anything daring on your big day. That makes me wonder when Lauren is going to get married. She’s been engaged to musician William Tell since last October, and sources claim she’s planning a fall wedding.

Scarlett Johansson knows that many of you don?t like her right now. And she?s fine with it. That?s how I?m interpreting her ?f?k it, I?m going to keep on talking? publicity campaign for The Winter Soldier and Under the Skin. To be fair, I think most of these print interviews (like this new one with the Wall Street Journal) were done a month or two ago. But I still maintain that Scarlett doesn?t give a crap if you hate her. She?s not one of those people feeding on the hate and she?s not one of these people broken down by the hate either. She?s ambivalent. She doesn?t care about what the peasants say. Anyway, here are some quotes from this WSJ piece ? I enjoyed it overall, but then again? I?m sort of becoming a ScarJo apologist as of late.
Whether she offended French people when she joked about their rudeness: “You’re allowed to complain about places you live, because you love them. Then I got off the [Letterman] stage and I go, ‘Oh my God, did I just offend a nation of people??? Johansson said that Dauriac called and reassured her that her comments were accurate, that everyone in France says the same kinds of things about pushy Parisians. “But of course his father called him and said, ‘What is she smoking? What is she thinking?’ Hopefully they will accept me back there.”
Why she plays Black Widow: “I was like, I want to be part of something big like that. I want to be in a really successful, huge film that’s good and works. I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it. I wanted to stretch myself physically, out of my comfort zone, and still succeed. I’m probably like most actors. We have huge egos, and you want to know you can be successful, no matter what. I don’t want to be pigeonholed in one genre or budget or whatever. I’d rather take the chance of a film not working than be stuck in a pattern of making the same movie over and over?
No longer an ingnue: “I don’t want to be the ingenue anymore. That part I’m happy about. It’s nice to be glamorous, but I don’t want to always have to be trendy and glamorous and an object of desire. I don’t want to be stuck in that forever. Because it doesn’t last.?
Having it all: ?It seems so stressful to not be able to spend time with your family because you?re constantly chasing the tail of your own success. There must exist a world in which I can balance those things, be able to raise a family and still make a film a year, or work on my own, develop things, do theatre. I want to be able to have it all. Selfishly.?
Motherhood/career balance: “I know that with that there will be some sacrifices. I know that’s the struggle with working mothers and successful careers. It happens.” But the scent of double standard is obvious, and Johansson doesn’t shy from it. “With [male actors] it just doesn’t happen that way. You can be every woman’s fantasy, and nobody thinks twice about the fact that you have eight kids or whatever.”
Her relationship with Romain Dauriac: “Our life is quiet,” she says. (As evidence, the couple has been mercifully spared a mortifying relationship acronym. “Scar-Ro? Scar-Main?” Johannson jokingly suggests.) She is vague about wedding timing (“our plan is to get married at some point”), but she admits that her French is rusty. Dauriac’s family mostly speaks French around her, but at home the couple usually sticks to English. “When you’re in a relationship with somebody and you’re communicating with them, you want to be as clear and concise as possible. We try to speak French a little, but it’s mostly like, ‘I like this sandwich.’ ‘That’s a nice color.’ ” She intended to take a month off and study French with a tutor. “You go out, you go to a museum, order lunch, try to do a conversation.”

The part about taking some time to learn French reminds me of David Sedaris?s books and his years-long attempt to learn French while living in Paris with his boyfriend. I guess Scarlett thinks that she?s so brilliant that she?ll just be able to pick up French in a month. Ha! Good luck with that.
As for her talk about not wanting to be an ingnue anymore ? ?I don’t want to always have to be trendy and glamorous and an object of desire? ? well, we?ll see. Scarlett has always seen herself as a ?real actress? except that she also profited (heavily) from the whole ingenue thing, especially when it came to modeling side projects.

Elsa wrote, "They are already home. Tristan and Sasha arrived in this world 18 March just after the full moon. Complete happiness!!"
Ms. Pataky also penned a blog for Glamour Spain today (March 25), encouraging mothers, "Enjoy every second with your baby because it is the most wonderful thing of the world.?

The big day is finally here! Shakira's self-titled album is in stores and in celebration, the Latin beauty released the brand new music video for her tune "Empire" on Tuesday (March 25).
Excitedly sharing her video, the "Hips Don't Lie" singer tweeted, "To celebrate album release day, here's the brand new video for Empire!" The "Voice" judge also gave fans a brief preview of the clip last evening, showing off a few pencil sketches of herself dressed in bridal attire and rocking flowing locks.
As for her album, it features 12 new jams including "Can't Remember to Forget You (featuring Rihanna)" and "Medicine (featuring Blake Shelton)."

Miley Cyrus is still on her crazy Bangerz tour, and I’m feeling very zen about it. After all of Miley’s antics, she’s finally worn me down for the moment. She’s doing what she wants to do with her career, and she’s not hurting anyone but herself. There are the children to consider, but parents have themselves to blame if they take their kids to see the former Hannah Montana in concert.
Miley’s been stirring up her own brand of controversy as always. Let’s do some quick bullet points to catch up:
* There are rumors circulating about her upsetting Isaac Hanson by smoking weed in the Hanson Brothers’ 3CG studio in Tulsa. I don’t know if that story is true, but it’s super rude to smoke anything in a place where it’s not welcome. Let alone weed, which is still very illegal in Oklahoma. Those poor Hansons must have fumigated the place after Miley departed.
* Radar Online has a new story about how dreadfully lonely Miley is. That’s a rather obnoxious tale. I think it’s equally as obnoxious as smoking dope in the Hansons’ studio. What else? A $5,000 cake to celebrate the Bangerz tour.
* Miley has outdone herself with some new video footage taken at her Tampa concert. In the vid, she’s stalking around her stage while asking, “You guys having a bad ass time? What about you guys?” Then she takes a huge drink of water and spews it all over the crowd. She does that three times. Here’s a clip of Miley doing her best Johnny Rotten because she’s so punk rock:
Eh. She’s not so much a Sex Pistol as a Justin Bieber clone with this move. Remember how Swaggy launched spit bombs on his fans from a balcony? Same effect. What’s odd is that Miley’s fans loved it when she spit on them. They cheered! The girl who uploaded this footage commented on YouTube about how Miley was only pretending to spit, and people egged her on: “cmon if u were a huge fan of anyone and they did that u would be freaking out to i honestly wish she did that to my side i was really jealous.“?
TMZ has a better angle on the spitting incident. This is so gross.

As we discussed last Friday, Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky checked into an LA hospital late Thursday, and Elsa gave birth to twin boys. TMZ actually got the birth date wrong though ? according to Elsa, the babies were born on March 18, which was a week ago exactly. And now Elsa is announcing their names: India Rose Hemsworth now has two little brothers named Tristan and Sasha Hemsworth.
Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky welcomed twin boys last week, and now the mother of three has revealed the names of their baby boys: Tristan and Sasha. Writing in her native Spanish, the actress posted a picture of the brothers’ feet on Instagram and told her followers, “They are already home. Tristan and Sasha arrived in this world 18 March just after the full moon. Complete happiness!!”
In a Tuesday blog post for Spanish Glamour, Pataky advised readers to savor each moment with their children. “Enjoy every second with your baby because it is the most wonderful thing of the world,” she wrote.
The newborns join big sister India, who was born in May 2012. The celebrity couple announced news of their second pregnancy in November and confirmed that they were expecting twins in January.
It’s not yet known why the Thor actor, 30, or the Fast & Furious 6 actress, 37, chose the boy’s names. As for their firstborn daughter? “It was just a name we like. I always kind of liked Indie or Indiana for a boy and she like India,” Hemsworth once told E! News. “We sorta went, ‘Oh, well, whether it’s a boy or a girl that will decide.’ It just seemed to fit.” Hemsworth also told E! News in June 2013 that fatherhood has changed him “for the better.” According to the Aussie, “It puts things into perspective.”

Tristan always reminds me of Legends of the Fall and Brad Pitt. I guess ?Tris Hemsworth? is kind of cute though. Sasha is? a very popular name these days. Andrea Casiraghi and his wife named their son Sasha. Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber named their son Sasha too. Plus, it?s the nickname of one of the Obama daughters (her real name is Natasha). Isn?t ?Sasha? the popular nickname for Alexander, especially in Russia? Why not just name the kid Alexander and call him Sasha?

Plus, she called up People Mag again, because of course. Stupid Clooney and his stupid lawyer girlfriend! Stacy will show them.
There?s more cause for celebration for newlyweds Stacy Keibler and Jared Pobre: they?re expecting a baby this summer, Keibler?s reps confirm to PEOPLE.

Keibler, 34, and Pobre, who married on a beach in Punta Mita, Mexico on March 8, are over the moon about becoming parents.
?I?m extremely excited about starting a family and building a future with Stacy,? says Pobre, 39, CEO of Future Ads, a private interactive firm.
Keibler shared the happy news on social media Monday. ?Look what we?ve got cooking! A Bun?dle of love!? she wrote along with a photo of her baking bun.
?We?re really eager to start a family,? Keibler told PEOPLE before exchanging vows in front of a small group of family and friends. ?Both Jared and I didn?t think that we were ever going to get married or have kids? When you meet the right person, everything changes.?

I?m already feeling like a Fit Pregnancy cover is in Stacy?s near future. And so be it. It?s fine. Out of all of George Clooney?s ex-girlfriends, I feel like Stacy has been the smartest about how she parlayed her fame into something tangible (money, a condo, reasonable work opportunities). And now she?s married and pregnant. I?m happy for her.

First, let?s talk about something nice involving Taylor Swift. It?s not difficult, because regardless of what you think about Swifty?s love life and/or her lyrics, she does give back to her fans consistently and thoroughly. Over the weekend, Taylor stopped by the Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in NYC to visit a young fan with post-transplant lymphoproliferative disease. This kind of makes me feel sorry for Swifty. She was trying to do something nice for a young fan with a debilitating illness, and all of the sick girl?s friends and family members wouldn?t stop trying to jack Swifty?s attention. I mean, props to Taylor for treating the girl like a normal kid (the girl is a normal kid, she?s just sick), but the family is annoying, that?s all I?m saying. Oh, and Taylor was only supposed to stay for like a half an hour but she ended up sticking around the hospital for five hours. Which is awesome.
And now for something sort of mean? Radar claims that Swifty?s ?advisors? are worried that her ?strange personality? is ?driving men away.?

This isn’t exactly a controversial post, so I don’t expect a huge reaction. I simply wanted to write about Marion Cotillard’s new Lady Dior ads because she looks so freaking lovely. This is the Fall-Winter 2014 campaign for the iconic handbags, and I think it’s brilliant. Marion is gliding effortlessly though the air with the aid of a trampoline. She looks like an ethereal ballerina with her hair floating everywhere. Could you pose like that while bouncing up and down? My tongue would be sticking out in an unintentional Miley Cyrus impression.
This is a great campaign and a big win for Dior. The bags look great and the pleated gowns add to the effect of Marion seemingly moving in slow motion. What I really want to know is why Dior can pull off such an effective vibe with Marion, but they fall down (har har) when it comes to the Jennifer Lawrence ads. Poor JLaw’s ads look robotic and awkward even though she is improving as a model.
I know JLaw isn’t the greatest fit for this fashion house, but they clearly want her on board. They recently renewed her contract for three years (for $15-20 million). So I’d love to see JLaw in a campaign similar to this. She’d be flashing a million-watt smile at the thought of bouncing on a trampoline. I need to stop turning this into a JLaw post. I just miss her.
Marion gets all of the best dresses and bags when it comes to Dior. They save all the really good looks for her. Here’s a behind-the-scenes video of this campaign:

Here are some photos of Kaley Cuoco and her husband of three months, Ryan Sweeting, playing tennis for charity over the weekend. It was a celebrity tennis match in Calabasas? considering all of the pink, I?m assuming the charity involved some kind of women?s cancer research, maybe breast or ovarian cancer. Let me see if I can find out? well, I don?t see anything specific. Everyone is just saying ?charity tennis match? so that will have to be good enough for now.
Anyway, Ryan and Kaley haven?t even been together for one year. Did you know that? Kaley went from dating Henry Cavill to getting shacked up with Ryan within the span of a few weeks. And then Ryan proposed really quickly and they got married in on New Year?s Eve. So rushed. My point is that it still seems a little crazy to think that they might not even know each other that well, and not everyone believes that they?ll even make it to their second anniversary. But that didn?t stop Kaley from getting inked in Ryan?s honor.
You can see the tattoo photos here (we don?t have that angle on her, although those tattoo photos are from this same charity tennis match). Kaley got a tattoo on the very top of her back, just below her neck. The tattoo? Roman numerals for her anniversary: XII (12), XXXI (31), XIII (13). December 31, 2013. Sigh? okay, Kaley. If this is what you want. But don?t come crying to me in a year, complaining that the tattoo removal hurts like hell.

Jennifer Aniston is still hustling for Aveeno. The Forever Hustle, right? If not Aveeno, then SmartWater, and if not SmartWater, it?s Living Proof. She?s mostly a model and a brand at this point. Which? I mean, props to her. Aniston is a seriously wealthy woman and most of the money she?s made over the past three to four years has been from her endorsement deals rather than her film career, although her film career is still pretty lucrative too.
Anyway, Aniston has some new interviews on behalf of her Aveeno contract. She gave one to E! News which we covered on Sunday ? Jennifer talking about how Justin ?hijacks? her Aveeno products. And now there are some new quotes from an interview she did with WWD:
Doing a voiceover for an Aveeno commercial: ?The mini movie is basically just informing the audience on what is behind Aveeno products and how they are made and where they come from and the detail that they pay [attention to in terms of] what goes into the products. What I learned about is how they make the products, the farm that they go to in Canada, the climate and the importance of the soil and how they get that oat from being an oat in the field to being in a bottle.?
Enunciating: ?It was an easy day. No makeup, no hair. I rolled up and learned some stuff about oats. But it is interesting how you have to hit certain inflections and hit certain words. It is very specific. There is also a time issue where you have to speed up.?
Doing so many product endorsements: ?The demand with time isn?t that great. You just do it when you have those few months off here and there, and it is nice because it is balances out the other stuff. It?s nice to be a part of skin-care companies and hair care and all that. It?s just a different business to dip your toes into.?
Public mentions of aging: ?Your age always has to be mentioned and men don?t really get that for some reason. It?s not like you see Joe Schmo, 37. Women and men today in their 40s are so much healthier than they were 30 years ago in their 40s. It was a different time. We know how to take care ourselves. We know what to put in our bodies to fuel us that?s healthy and organic and not processed, and the importance of drinking water and cutting out sugars and bad fats. Before, we just didn?t know that, and we didn?t have the technology with skin care that we have today.?

Is she right about society always noting a woman?s age but never a man?s age? I think she?s half-right ? society does make a point of always noting a woman?s age, but I?ve noticed that in the past five years or so, men have really begun to face the same kind of aging/beauty standards as women. We talk about men and aging more often, we note which men look good or bad for their age, what men are gaining or losing weight and which dudes have lost their pretty. Is that a good or bad thing? It?s a good thing if you?re like, ?Yeah, why shouldn?t men face the same kind of superficial standards women face?? It?s a bad thing if you?re like, ?Damn, why should anyone have to face those standards?? Glass half full/glass half empty.
Aniston has been doing these interviews because there?s a new commerical/infomercial for Aveeno which just debuted this weekend. As she says in the WWD interview, Aniston narrates it and I have to ask? is her voice always this nasal and stuffed-up sounding? She sounds like she has a sinus infection. Also: I think I?m obsessed with the way she says ?oat?. For real.

She's dealt with the downsides of fame for decades, and now Jennifer Aniston is opening up about the less-than-fun aspects of it in a new Associated Press interview.
Speaking about tabloids and paparazzi, she complains, "All that stuff, it's toxic. It never gets un-jarring, but you do have to not let it imprison you, which is possible too."
As for how she keeps herself grounded, the "Friends" star explains, "There?s times when you see people climbing and getting success and you start to see, oh, they?re starting to really change. So I always just make the effort to be as humble and grateful as possible."
Later, the 45-year-old actress shares, "You just have to work really hard to tune out the noise and the static. Because it gets louder, and people really have an opinion, and you don?t want to shy away from taking chances for fear of what people will say, or living in the wreckage of the future [of] what may be if I do this."
If you're wondering, Jennifer is quite aware of the speculation surrounding her and fiance Justin Theroux's relationship, as she notes, "It?s weird. I think because we are so normal. We?re very non-fabulous in any way. They try to create all sorts of narratives to go with a very normal, wonderful life that?s just two people loving each other and living life and working and doing the best they can.?

In the dramatic thriller, two expeditions seeks the summit of the mountain but end up battling perilous storms on the way.
Currently filming in Nepal, the movie also stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Jason Clarke, Emily Watson, and Josh Brolin.
Directed by Baltasar Kormkur, "Everest" is slated to hit theaters on September 18th, 2015.

Heating up Miami even further, David Beckham touched down at Miami International Airport on Monday (March 24).
The retired footballer wore all black with a leather jacket, jeans, and a cap as he made his way through a sea of fans and photographers.
While in town, the 38-year-old athlete will be hard at work planning for his new Major League Soccer franchise.
On Monday, plans were unveiled for a stadium in the heart of PortMiami which Beckham's people promises will be built without local subsidies.
