In case you?re wondering why Ariana Grande got a rock star reception at the Oscars, it?s because of Wicked. There?s apparently a lot of money behind it. Ari was just a presenter (alongside her Wicked costar Cynthia Erivo), but it felt like she was everywhere during the show and on stage. Ari wore this custom Giambattista Valli which is? absurd, but also kind of fun. Back in the day, at least a dozen Oscar-attendees would wear big, ridiculous gowns like this and it was a regular thing. Not so much anymore. The biggest problem here isn?t even the big dumb dress it?s that Ariana is sticking with that brassy shade of blonde and it?s doing her no favors.
Matt Bomer wore Brunello Cucinelli. Yes, I?m interested in the fashion, I?m not just mindlessly ogling the most beautiful man in the world.
Billie Eilish wore Chanel and she and her brother Finneas won their second Oscars! Ridiculous! While I did not like her Chanel outfit whatsoever, I fking loved her hair and makeup. The blowout was such a great look and her makeup was gorgeous. I hope she sticks with that glam team, they know what they?re doing.

Some people have expressed surprise that Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater are still together. They started up in the spring, by what I can tell, and their affair ruined both of their marriages. By July, Ariana had left Dalton Gomez and they would eventually settle their divorce very quietly. Ethan?s situation was more complicated, given that he had a wife and baby at home and Ariana had even tried to befriend Lilly Jay (Ethan?s wife). All of that went down this summer, but it?s been relatively quiet in recent months. Every now and then, we?ll hear about Ariana supporting Ethan in New York, and Ari is still trying to rewrite the narrative. Anyway, they?ll stay together throughout 2024, that?s my prediction. Wicked the film where they met won?t be out until November. They?ll try to stay together through the promotion. Meanwhile, People Magazine had this exclusive:
Things are getting very real for Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater. A source tells PEOPLE that things are serious between the 7 Rings singer, 30, and the Spamalot actor, 31, who have been confirmed to be dating since July.
?Ariana is serious with Ethan, they said. She loves being with him.
The insider added that while the pair go out occasionally as Grande puts the finishing touches on her upcoming album, they mostly enjoy staying in. It?s a very normal relationship.
On Saturday, the couple was pictured together for one of their first times out together.
The singer and Broadway star were photographed during a night out in New York City when a source close to Grande told PEOPLE they ate dinner with her father Ed Butera at her family?s favorite Italian restaurant before seeing Slater in Spamalot.
Grande sported an all-black with a furry bucket hat, mini skirt, and black top with furry cuffs. Meanwhile, Slater opted for a more athletic getup with a zip-up, joggers and running shoes.
They love to support each other in their work, the source said. When she?s done with work, Ariana loves going to the theater when she can.
Grande shared a carousel of photos to Instagram earlier this month, which featured one image with a Spam can ornament hanging on a wall Christmas tree made of green garland. The ornament is, of course, a shoutout to Spamalot, the 2005 Tony-winning musical adaptation of Monty Python and The Holy Grail. Slater is currently starring in a revival of the comedy on Broadway.

It happened to Taylor Swift when she dated Matt Healy the Swifties panicked because the guy sucked and he was pretty racist to boot. From what I?ve seen of the Arianators online, they?re counting down the days until Ari dumps Ethan, and they?re grossed out by the fact that Ethan looks so much like her brother Frankie. The only part of Ariana Grande?s chaotic and cockamamie PR I believe this year was the part where she claimed that she and Dalton Gomez had been on the rocks long before she started up with Ethan Slater. The scandalous part of Ariana and Ethan?s adultery was that Ethan?s wife Lilly Jay had no idea, and that Ari and Ethan were going around behind Lilly?s back. Dalton wasn?t around Ariana had basically already left him, although I?ll also buy the idea that she kept giving him just enough emotional incentive to stick around in case she needed him. In any case, Dalton was also the most quiet of the four people in this toxic situation he didn?t make a big stink, he didn?t pile on, he didn?t sell his story, he didn?t chat with Page Six. He and Ariana quietly worked through their sh-t, filed for divorce simultaneously, and Dalton is walking away with a seven-figure check for his trouble.
Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have made quick work out of their divorce, settling up just weeks after they filed to end their marriage. There werent a whole lot of contentious issues there was a prenup, and, as we reported when we broke the story, Ariana cut Dalton a check and according to the settlement Dalton will receive $1,250,000, tax-free. Dalton is getting the money upfront, so there will be no spousal support.
Dalton will also receive 1/2 of the net proceeds from the sale of their L.A. home. And, Ariana will pay up to $25,000 of Daltons attorneys fees.
A source close to the situation tells us, There is still a strong mutual love and respect between Ariana and Dalton and they wanted to make sure everything was done right in lockstep with one another.
The settlement is standard operating procedure for Arianas lawyer, disso queen Laura Wasser, who tries usually successfully to quickly settle even the most contentious divorces. Youll recall, she recently settled the bitter divorce between Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner.
The settlement has been filed with the court, and all thats left is for the judge to sign and they will be single again. Ariana is in deep with her newest boo, Wicked co-star Ethan Slater, and were told Dalton is dating as well. The date of separation on the divorce docs is February 20, but they didnt file for divorce until last month.

It can be clean-cut like this when there are no kids involved and one spouse feels a bit guilty and wants to write a check so that her ex will be able to land on his feet. As I said before, I wonder who ?managed? this for Ariana, because this was the only part of the drama which was handled correctly and efficiently. I guarantee Ari got an NDA attached to the settlement and Dalton would never break it. It?s good that he?s also getting half of the profit from the sale of their home that will probably be more than his cash settlement, considering the real estate market in LA. I wish Dalton well and I?m sure Ari does too. And yes, she?s moved on. She moved on while she was still married.

I?m still shocked that Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater are together. They got together, from what I can see, in the spring of this year. They were in London, working on Wicked, and both of them conveniently forgot that they were married to other people. Ariana?s marriage to Dalton Gomez crashed and burned and Dalton has kept quiet about it. Ethan?s wife Lilly Jay chose a different path, pushing back against Team Grande?s narrative that Ethan and Ari only got together when both of their marriages ended. So here we are, with both married couples going through divorces and Ari and Ethan are still happening. Their cheating asses went to Disneyland last Friday.
Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater are going strong amid their respective divorces. The couple was spotted linking arms while walking around Disneyland on Friday night, according to photos obtained by celebrity blog Deuxmoi. The pair, whose faces can?t be seen, were photographed from behind while waiting for a ride.
A video from the outing showed the ?Wicked? co-stars ? who were joined by a couple friends ? getting a tour from one of the theme park guides.
Grande, 30, and Slater, 31, appeared to be trying to stay under the radar in baggy sweatshirts and baseball hats. However, the ?7 Rings? dressed up the casual look with a pleated skirt and black sheer tights.
The outing came less than one week after the pop star filed for divorce from her estranged husband, Dalton Gomez, after two years of marriage. According to the filings, Grande requested that their prenuptial agreement be honored. She also wants some of her pricey jewelry to be considered separate property and assets. Despite their split, sources told Page Six that everything has remained amicable between the ?Positions? singer and Gomez, 27, who filed divorce papers the same day.

After the Manchester bombing at Ariana?s concert in 2017, Ariana?s team finally looked professional and competent, and Scooter Braun got a lot of credit for organizing the One Manchester concert for Ariana within two weeks. Ever since then, Ariana?s team has gotten high marks and she?s been pretty scandal-free. Then she started banging her married costar Ethan Slater and she dumped her husband simultaneously. Suddenly, it was amateur hour from Ari?s team as they navigated a quickie divorce storyline while also rolling out a series of lies about when she and Ethan started. Ethan?s wife started talking and it became a huge PR disaster for her. So, where was Scooter Braun, her manager? On vacation. And that?s apparently why Ariana is dropping Scooter.
Ariana Grande?s team were reportedly unhappy with Scooter Braun after he allegedly refused to cut his vacation short and help tackle the media storm surrounding her rumoured relationship with Wicked costar Ethan Slater.
Grande is among the music stars to have reportedly cut ties with the music manager in recent months. The Independent understands that Demi Lovato and Frozen star Idina Menzel have parted ways with Braun?s SB Projects, while Justin Bieber is also reportedly seeking legal advice to end his contract with the mega-manager. So far none of the artists have responded publicly to the reports. Braun appeared to mock the rumours earlier this week by joking that he was ?no longer managing himself?.
In a new report on Friday (25 August), Puck writer Matthew Belloni, who first reported news of Grande?s exit, claimed that tensions with the ?thank u, next? singer were amplified by Braun?s reaction to her relationship controversy earlier this year.
In his report, Belloni writes that Grande?s team wanted Braun to fly from his holiday in Europe to New York in order to help quell the media furore, which he reportedly refused to do.
?I deserve a vacation,? Braun is said to have told Grande?s team, according to Belloni?s sources.
The Independent has contacted Braun and Grande?s representatives for comment.

Ariana fked up her PR and instead of working with the managers Braun put in place at SB Projects, Ariana threw a tantrum that a billionaire CEO wouldn?t cut off his vacation just to rescue her from her self-made catastrophe? Yeah, I?m on Braun?s side here. It?s not like he?s the Ariana-whisperer either she?s 30 years old, she has her own dedicated team PLUS the SB Projects team. To recap what we know thus far, Ethan Slater and Ariana Grande?s affair began several months ago on the set of Wicked. While I believe Ariana?s marriage to Dalton Gomez was pretty much over in all but name, Slater was very much with his wife, Lilly Jay, at the time. Lilly and Ethan welcomed their first child last year, and Lilly and the baby even visited the London set of Wicked. Reportedly, Lilly even spoke to Ariana, let Ari hold the baby and talked to Ari about how Ari wants a baby. Ari was even ?liking? Lilly?s Instagram posts at the same time Ari and Ethan were carrying on. Ethan reportedly only told Lilly about his affair just days before Ari?s team broke the news to People Mag. What followed that People Mag story has been non-stop drama, mostly because Lilly Jay is not going away quietly. Lilly spoke on the record to Page Six, saying that Ariana is ?not a girl?s girl? and that the real story is Ariana and Dalton?s split. Ethan and Ari then ran straight to TMZ to complain:

Sources tell us Lilly told Ethan she did not understand what it meant that she was on the record when she made the comments. Its unclear what Lillys position is regarding co-parenting, but Ethan adamantly wants to raise his son.
TMZ broke the story Ethan filed for divorce on Wednesday. If theyre at odds on who raises the child, ultimately a judge will decide.

That?s the thing, though while I?m 100% behind Lilly doing and saying whatever she wants, the minute that she stops engaging with Ariana and ignores the whole situation is when Ariana will get bored and dump Ethan.

My gossip radar pinged on Sunday, when Ariana Grande turned up at the Wimbledon men?s final, looking blonde, single and ringless. I just didn?t think we would get this announcement right away! So, just before the pandemic hit, Ariana started dating Dalton Gomez. They basically went into lockdown together and their love blossomed. They got engaged by the end of 2020 and they were married in May 2021. Two years later, they?re headed for a divorce.
Ariana Grande and her husband Dalton Gomez have been separated since January, and they are heading toward divorce sources connected to the couple tell TMZ. As we reported, Ariana was not wearing her wedding ring at Wimbledon over the weekend in fact, shes been ringless a lot these days.
Were told a few months back the 2 tried a reconciliation, but it failed.
One source with direct knowledge told TMZ, their relationship is heading for divorce.
Ariana and Dalton have been thousands of miles apart since December, when she started filming Wicked. Our sources say they were having problems even before that. Were told they remain friends and still talk on the phone regularly, but, according to sources, the marriage is kaput.

At Wimbledon, she was sitting in between Andrew Garfield and Jonathan Bailey. Bailey is a gay man, so on that level, of course Ariana would dump her husband and then go drink Pimms at Wimbledon with her gay BFF. But so few people are talking about the fact that she was sitting next to Andrew too. Andrew is single, last time I checked. Something to keep your eye on.

Ariana Grande married Dalton Gomez two weekends ago at their home in Montecito. At the time, Ariana and her people merely confirmed the news to People Magazine and other outlets, and we didn?t even have one wedding portrait to use. I hoped that Ariana would eventually post some photos on her Instagram, and she did. But because she?s Ari, it?s a bit complicated! Vogue Magazine claims they have the exclusive on Ari?s wedding, but Ari just went ahead and posted a dozen of the photos on her IG anyway. It kind of works, and I?m not mad about it. It?s her wedding, if she wants the people to see the photos without going to Vogue, that?s her right. She did give Vogue an exclusive on some of the wedding details though. Vera Wang had promised to do Ariana?s wedding gown: At the Met Gala a few years ago, Ariana and Vera had made a very important pact: On fashion?s biggest night, Vera promised that when the time came, she would create Ariana?s wedding day look?and the iconic designer delivered.
The gown: A custom lily-white silk charmeuse empire waist column gown accented with a sculpted neckline, an exposed bra strap closure, and a plunging back. The dress was accessorized with a shoulder-length hand-pleated bubble veil with a sweet satin bow at the very top. Altogether, the ensemble, styled to perfection by Mimi Cuttrell, was reminiscent of the look Jo Stockton so famously wore in Funny Face. The bride also wore custom Giuseppe Zanotti platform heels.
The earrings: Pearl and diamond earrings by Lorraine Schwartz were chosen to match the bride?s engagement ring?with one upside-down (a nod to her aesthetic that started during the ?Sweetener? era) and the other right side up. The meaning behind this is significant to Ariana, as it represents appreciating the lowest or the ?upside down? moments in her life and how they have contributed to where and who she is now.
Styling: Her polished half-up hair and soft curls were the work of Josh Liu, and her natural makeup, with sculpted brows and a pretty winged liner, were done by Ash K Holm.
They said their vows in a room lit by candlelight: Ariana?s mother, Joan Grande, gave her away, although in real life she did so alongside Arianas father, Ed Butera, which was a personal high point and one of the most special moments for the bride.

It was smart for Ariana to aim for Audrey Hepburn rather than Cinderella-at-the-ball, you know? Ari?s style can sometimes go over-the-top, princess-in-a-ball-gown. I?m glad she went simpler, classic, old-school. The ?Audrey Hepburn? vibe works on Ari because she is so small and simpler styles look really good on her. Now, do I think her dress was the best thing ever? Not really, but she looked pretty and you can tell that she loved her dress. The veil suited her too.
