Fresh off her "Woman of the Year" announcement, Emma Watson lands the cover spot of British GQ's October 2013 issue.
While striking a few poses for the gorgeous spread, the former "Harry Potter" beauty opened up about how she keeps herself calm during those intense Hollywood moments.
"I meditate to stop the noise. I'm in my head a lot," the 24-year-old actress explained. "I needed to slow down my thought process so everything gets a lot quieter."
After being presented with the award, Miss Watson took to her Twitter account to announce her appreciation to British GQ.
"@BritishGQ Mud throwing, general hilarity and great company at the awards tonight," she tweeted. "Very proud to be part of your female contingency.thank you!"
Emma later added a snapshot of the publication's latest issue, which fans everywhere have continued to raved about. They tweeted compliments such as, "Flawless," and "Congrats Emma!"

However, Patton?s rep stated, ?Paula was with him all night. Scolaro is just a girl looking for attention. Paula and Robin aren?t concerned and are happily vacationing in Florida.?

Tourmate Ed Sheeran told Cosmopolitan magazine that the ?I Knew You Were Trouble? songstress was actually responding to her gal pal Selena Gomez's remark regarding her chances of winning a trophy.
Sheeran shared, "Taylor was like, 'I think I messed up.' Selena said, 'I think Miley's gonna win [over me].? And Taylor was like, 'Shut the f*** up!? That's all that was!?

Michelle Pfeiffer is 55 years old. Did I just blow your mind? Here?s a question, and I?m honestly looking for your thoughts: has she had any work done? I?m not sure. My guess would be that she hasn?t had any surgery, but maybe some Botox and fillers here and there, nothing overzealous. The secret, I believe, is knowing when to stop and having realistic goals. If you?re 55 years old, you shouldn?t try to look 30. You should try to look like a well-preserved 43. Which is exactly what Michelle looks like ? like a still-beautiful 40-something.
Anyway, Michelle is promoting her new movie with Robert DeNiro called The Family. She?s married to DeNiro, a mobster, and they go into Witness Protection? in France. The movie actually looks really stupid (Emma Roberts is in it!!), but it?s nice to see Michelle work with DeNiro. To promote the movie, she covers the October issue of Ladies? Home Journal. Some interview highlights:
She didn?t mean to take time off: ?I didn’t decide to take that time off. It just sort of happened. When the kids were small I used to take them with me on location. But as they got older I didn’t want to pull them out of school, and the idea of traveling to make a movie became harder and harder. I started putting caveats on everything — like I’ll do a movie only at a certain time of year, or in a certain location — and I negotiated myself out of work. If I was going to do something that took me away from my kids, it had to matter. Moms often think, ?Oh, I should be home when the kids are babies.? But I think they need you more when they’re a little older.?
She?s a painter too: ?I was so busy with my kids, which was incredibly creative and improvisational and certainly challenging. But I’m a real homebody. I’m happy puttering around the house and doing my own thing, even if it’s isolating. When the kids were in school I painted, mostly portraits. Both painting and acting are about paying attention to detail and seeing things in a different way. I got so immersed in painting that I didn’t read scripts or return my agent’s calls. I probably would have done more movies had I not taken up painting. Of course, once my kids got older they started saying, ?Mom, aren’t you going back to work soon?? They missed the craft services table [laughs]. We don’t keep junk food at home.?
She still thinks she?s about to get fired: ?I still think I’m going to be fired in the first week of every new job I take. Always. In fact, before I even start a movie I’ll try to get myself fired or think of a reason I should quit. I guess it’s fear of failure. I tend to choose parts that are a stretch for me. It’s like I’ll throw myself into the deep end and think I’m going to drown for a very long time.?
Aging in the industry: ?Having to watch yourself age on a giant movie screen is simply not natural. It can wreak havoc on your psyche. My dermatologist said to me once, ?You know that 10X magnifying mirror that you have in the bathroom? Throw it away.? It was the best advice anybody ever gave me. Of course, now my eyes are weaker and I can’t see to put my makeup on without that mirror! But once you get over a certain hump there actually is less pressure. You can begin to look great for your age. You don’t have to look young anymore. I’ve moved over to that other side — I’m 55, which is a little too close to 60, but looking great for my age is okay now.?
She?s become a vegan: ?A few years ago I saw a special on CNN, ?The Last Heart Attack,? about how to prevent heart disease. I’m not really at risk for that but my father died of cancer and my mother has advanced-stage dementia. And I have people close to me battling cancer. Seeing both of my parents suffer has made me think a lot about longevity and quality of life. And while it’s open to debate, if there’s any chance we can prevent a lot of chronic illnesses by the way we eat, why not try it? So I cut out meat and dairy and after two months my cholesterol shot down 83 points. I also try to exercise five days a week — I run, do free weights. But I haven’t always been healthy. When I was in my 20s I smoked two packs of cigarettes a day. I lived on Marlboro Lights and Coca-Cola.?
Sacrifices: ?The toughest thing for me has been balancing being a working mom. I learned early on that you can have it all but you can’t do it all. I sacrificed some things in my work to be a better parent — but I also sacrificed some parenting in order to do what I love.?
Empty-nesters now that their kids are in college: ?My husband and I sit around and talk about what we want to do and where we want to live. I’ll say, “Honey, should we take up golf? Do you want to play golf together?” And he’ll say, “Golf? I don’t know. That takes so much time.” Then I’ll say, “Maybe we should plant a vineyard. Why don’t we make wine?” Besides working a little more, I don’t know what we’ll do. It’s scary, but it’s also exciting to think about. Once I get past the shock of having an empty nest, I’m going to be really happy with my newfound freedom.?

Man, I always forget how much I like Michelle. She?s a cool lady, isn?t she? She seems? pragmatic, realistic, classy, honest, refreshing and very much like a cool, hands-on mom. As much as we hear from the current generation of celebrity moms, Michelle actually DID go away and raise her kids away from the spotlight and she was able to still work here and there and retain some mystique. Personally, I welcome her back to the Hollywood table. I hope she works more now that her kids are grown.

Here are some photos from last night?s New York Fashion Week kick-off event, The 2013 Style Awards, which were very poorly attended. It was like a who?s who of C-listers. Jesse Matcalfe was there. Exactly. That?s pretty much all you need to know. As Bedhead discussed earlier this week, Kate Upton was named this year?s ?Model of the Year?. So Upton was at the event and she was seriously the biggest name. Poor Kate.
Kate wore this Altuzarra ?Walker? dress which, according to RCFA, is a ?fitted jersey v-neck three-quarter-sleeve dress with a gunmetal-tone asymmetrical zip and a mesh panel in the skirt.? You know what? I don?t really have a problem with this at all. It?s a cute LBD. My only issue is that Kate needs better support for her girls ? they look kind of saggy in this dress, but I suspect that?s because Kate needs better ?foundation garments?. Oh, and she should ditch the shoulder pads.
Bedhead didn?t get to this quote when she was covering Kate?s Vanity Fair cover the other day ? Kate told VF: ?I?m not going to name names, but one agency told me, ?You?re too American, and everybody knows American women are lazy.? I was so offended! I?ve never been so offended! I was like, ?You know that you?re in America, right?? And it wasn?t ?American models??it was ?American women are lazy,? period! I feel like a lot of women would disagree with that. A lot!? Kate was told by an agency IN AMERICA that all American women are lazy? Yikes.

Eva Mendes has kept a pretty low profile lately, but she covers the October issue of Lucky magazine. While her aggressively arched eyebrows usually drive me crazy, she looks quite beautiful in this shoot. The clothes are also pretty cool with the exception of the cover. That jacket looks so plasticky and not comfortable at all, but the other outfits are totally things that I would wear.
The interview is kind of weird though because Eva is playing the innocent card when it comes to her own fashion sense. She alludes to her own fashion line, which is supposed to launch sometime this fall, but she’s playing it coy by claiming not to like form-fitting, sexy clothing. That’s a strange assertion from a woman who tries so hard to be sexy that she once claimed to have had sex in all 50 states. Eva also sort of explains that bizarro quasi turban from last year:
She’s so method: “I’ll do anything for a role! For A Place Beyond the Pines, I exercised a lot. I wanted my character to feel really depleted. My mom didn’t understand why I would want to look that way. She’s constantly telling me I’m too skinny!”
Her mom loves to keep tabs: “The way my mother keeps track of me is looking me up. I say, ‘Please, Mother, don’t Google me!’”
No dishing on the Gosling: “You can ask about my boyfriend. I just won’t answer.”
About that turban: “There are days when I don’t feel great, but I put on my favorite dress and throw a scarf in my hair, and it makes all the difference. Hopefully my line can do that for women. Even if you’re not feeling your best, let’s admit it, the right outfit–it helps.”
On her style: “Every time I wear something body-conscious, I regret it. I feel better in a demure look.”

Do you buy that Eva feels entirely uncomfortable in body-conscious clothing? I guess I believe her because while she wears a lot of form-fitting stuff on the red carpet, most of her casual street wear includes sweaters and pants. All the same, she is the type to wander around naked in her own home almost all the time, so maybe her “demure” self-description is merely an act.

When I was covering those photos of Scarlett Johansson in Venice with her boyfriend Romain Dauriac, I noticed that Scarlett was wearing a very beautiful, very large ring on her left hand, but I didn?t discuss it because? you know how Scarlett is. She thinks she?s so ?above? that kind of petty speculation, and I really didn?t want to be all ?what?s with that ring?? and have all the know-it-all hyper-correcters come in and yell at me. But seriously, there was something with the ring. People Magazine reported exclusively (as in, they got confirmation from Scarlett?s publicist) that Scarlett is engaged to her boyfriend of a year, Romain Dauriac:

“They’re engaged and very happy,” a source says of the couple. A rep for the actress had no comment.
The proposal occurred about a month ago. The ring is a vintage Art Deco ring.
Earlier this week, the actress, 28, was spotted wearing the diamond stunner while in Italy promoting her new sci-fi film Under the Skin at the Venice International Film Festival.
Over the past year, Johansson had been spotted wearing diamond rings on her left hand. The last time was in July, when she arrived in Los Angeles wearing an ornate gold ring with a diamond and ruby. That bauble, though, was “simply a piece of jewelry.”

She?s 28 and this will be her second marriage. He?s 31 and I have no idea if he?s ever been married. Not a lot is known about him beyond ?he?s French? and ?he wears unfortunate jeans? and ?he doesn?t wear socks with a tuxedo? and ?Scarlett probably thinks he?s incredibly intellectual.? But maybe that?s a good thing ? I like that she left the Hollywood dating pool and went for a European, and someone who is not an actor. Anyway, I?m happy for her. I get the feeling that she went through a really bad phase, dating-wise, just after she and Ryan Reynolds got a divorce. Remember this douche? How about this one? Romain seems pretty stable and so far, he hasn’t tried to become famous for dating ScarJo. And hey, maybe she?ll move to France for him and have French babies. Why not?

The eldest Kardashian sister looked pretty in a white tank top, turquoise floral kimono, and denim cutoffs as she walked outside with partner Scott Disick and their son, Mason.
This past weekend, the 34-year-old reality star made an appearance at the family's Kardashian Khaos store at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
According to reports, the meet-and-greet came at a hefty price for fans as she allegedly charged $150 for the opportunity.

Titled ?Red Light,? the tune is not the ?Beverly Hills Cop? actor's first foray in to music- he scored a hit with "Party All the Time? in 1985.
The song features lyrics that talk about racial profiling, such as "Broken economy, the streets are dire. Even more than before, I need some betterness to take me higher. Feels like I'm gonna blow."
A music video for ?Red Light? arrives on Monday, September 9. In the meantime, check out the song in the player below.

Hoping to rake in some big bucks, Kate Moss attended the Kate Moss: The Collection auction which sold off artworks of the model curated by Gert Elfering at Christie's King Street in London on Wednesday (September 4).
The 39-year-old supermodel posed for pics before the gavel fell in a silvery outfit including a blazer, T-shirt, shiny pants, and a disco ball-inspired belt.
According to Elfering, "Kate is the ultimate modern muse and we will be seeing her images in major museums and private collections for years to come. She has altered perceptions for women across the globe, encouraging them towards greater individuality and expressive freedom."
