Preparing to make her executive producing with NBC's "Ready for Love" and Lifetime's "Devious Maids," Eva Longoria spruced up to cover the November 2012 issue of Latina magazine.
Showing off her voluminous brunette locks, the 37-year-old actress posed in black leather top for the front page shot while dishing about everything from missing "Desperate Housewives" to how she spends her downtime.

On missing "Desperate Housewives":
"I do [miss it]. I miss the consistency of going to the same place every day. I miss the girls. I miss the crew and I miss seeing their faces everyday. But no Gabby withdrawal. We did it all with that character. We fully explored every aspect of Gabby over eight years."
On staying connected through technology:
"I have to have my Blackberry because I can only type fast on that but I also have the iPhone of course, I just cant type as fast. Plus on [the iPhone] I have autocorrect, which sometimes I don't like. iPad, iPhone, blackberry -- I'm connected. A mobile office if you will. It's so funny because I don't even know where my laptop is. I was looking for my laptop the other day and I haven't used it in months."
On how she spends her downtime:
"I meditate a lot in the mornings and at night and I work out. And cooking, those are my downtimes. I have so many new recipes now that I'm working on because I'm on this whole health kick."
On staying educated:
?As an actress, there?s a stereotype that we can?t be smart, we can?t be political, we can?t be civic-minded or engaged. We just have to stay in front of the camera and look pretty. No, I?m human. I can do more.?

She?s the envy of millions of women the world over, but it turns out Kristen Stewart really isn?t all that pleased with her life.
The ?Snow White and the Huntsman? actress recently told Marie Claire magazine that she hasn?t really found lasting happiness.
Stewart explained, "I'm a miserable c***! I'm not sure if I'm most happy when I'm comfortable and content or when I'm pushing myself to the limits. There are such different versions of happy. And I really appreciate both."
When asked what she?d do if she wasn?t acting, Kristen noted, "I'd probably go back to school, read a lot and figure out what I should do."
Regarding her ?Twilight? character Bella Swan, Miss Stewart shared, "I always wanted Bella to be unassuming, yet cooler than everyone else. We both wear lots of casual clothes. But her actual style is very far away from mine.?

In family news, the blonde beauty recently spoke to Parents.com about her fears of bringing her son Luca up in the spotlight.
"I'd say, 'Are you sure?' (if my son wanted to act). My sister and I said that same thing to my mom, and she encouraged us. I'm so happy she did, and I would not change my life for anything. But it's tough, and it's totally different than it used to be,? Hilary said.
"I am even scared of (Luca) growing up getting his picture taken all the time and feeling different. I saw a rag magazine the other day - I was having my hair done or something - and the headline said, 'Who Wore It Better?' and the photo showed (Tom Cruise's daughter) Suri Cruise and so-and-so's kid. They had the same dress on, and (magazine editors) put these kids up against each other. I'm just thinking that this is sickening. Now that I'm a mom and I have a child, I can't imagine. It's not right."

Payne explained, ''I think Nicole's very qualified. I remember being a judge on a show called 'Popstars' years ago which is where I found her, and was very insistent in her continuing on in the process through the auditions.?
''She always thanks me for that, but I saw in her that she was a star and she just needed to be discovered. I met her in Chicago. Anyway, she was the only one who showed up to the screening wearing this fancy white, cleavage baring dress. Everyone else wore black, browns or at most red. I’m not sure what fashion experts would say about that but whatever it is, I’m sure it’ll be fascinating. Taylor Swift showed up to a Kennedy family event with Conor Kennedy over the weekend, but that didn’t stop her from making out with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son Patrick while she was there. Radar Online says:
“Taylor was making out with Patrick all night,” a source [said]. “The previous day, she was all over Conor, so she hooked up with two cousins on consecutive nights!”
“Taylor and Patrick weren’t kissing out in the open, but she wasn’t being as subtle as she thought she was,” the source says. “Conor doesn’t know, but everyone else in the family does.”

Last night saw the special screening of Seven Psychopaths in NYC, and Abbie Cornish was (I guess) the big fashion star of the evening. Actually, Abbie was merely the only one who stood out in this relatively casual event because she chose a boob-flaunting Roland Mouret floral-print dress with a fishtail and bustier top. It really seems a bit too much (and too springlike) for an October screening in New York, but maybe Abbie feels as if she’s finally arrived and should dress the part too.
To date, Abbie occupies an awkward spot in Hollywood, for she’s been working consistently in movies and television for over a decade, but a lot of people still think of her as the chick that Ryan Phillippe was screwing around with during the last gasps of his marriage to Reese Witherspoon. As such, Abbie enjoys a bit of name recognition and usually gets good reviews for her performances, but she’ll never be a box-office draw on her own. She’s a very pretty girl though, and her hair and makeup match the dress even if the entire look is a bit out of place.
Lots of other celebs were at the event too, and Jewel and Gabourey Sidibe both went for basic black. Jewel chose a kicky cocktail dress, and Gabby went with lace, sheer sleeves, and bold red pumps. Both of them look occasion appropriate and great.
Kelly Bensimon opted for understated elegance in a brown dress with a strange black pattern. It looks better from a distance than up close, but her hair and accessories are quite fitting for the evening.
Helena Christensen chose an oddly matched tan jacket with a black top and navy skirt. With that figure, she can get away with almost any outfit, but this one is a miss.
Meanwhile, the dudes couldn’t be bothered to either show up (in the case of Colin Farrell and Woody Harrelson) or dress up. Here’s Christopher Walken, Billy Connolly, and Michael Pitt. While I admire Walken (despite the fact that he’s done as many bad movies lately as Al Pacino) and adore Connolly, I wish they’d made a bit of effort like Michael Pitt. I guess guys just don’t have to worry about looking good when it comes to their careers. That sucks!

Anyway, did you hear the casting rumors that Miley was going to play ?Bonnie? in a Lifetime miniseries remake of Bonnie & Clyde? True story. I mean, Lifetime was actually going to make that miniseries, and I think they still are going to make it, and Miley might have been their first choice for the role. Unfortunately for all, Miley just quit that bitch:
This is pretty uncool: Miley Cyrus is no longer in the running to play the female lead in Bonnie & Clyde, a four-hour miniseries in development for cable siblings History and Lifetime, TVLine has learned exclusively.
Cyrus had been in negotiations to play Bonnie in the project, which is being shepherded by Smash exec producers, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.
It?s not clear what led to the breakdown in talks.
Later this month, Cyrus kicks off a multi-episode arc as a love interest for Angus T. Jones? Jake on CBS? Two and a Half Men.

Taylor Swift has yet another interview in a major magazine ? earlier today, I already covered some early excerpts from her Rolling Stone piece too, and now here she is in Esquire. You would think that Esquire speaking to Swifty would be 10 kinds of wrong, considering that Esquire?s target audience is probably ?men in their 30s or 40s, who listen to jazz or classic rock.? Basically, the Esquire audience would probably want nothing to do with Swifty?s sparkle-pony routine in any way, shape or form. But the piece is actually half-decent, mostly because Swifty and the interviewer have a decent rapport, and there are some good quotes that come out of it. You can read the full piece here, but I?m including the whole thing anyway (it?s short and breezy):
ESQUIRE: How’s it feel to be named a Woman We Love?
Taylor Swift: That made me so happy when I heard that. That’s awesome.
ESQ: We should celebrate by talking about your new album (Red, out October 22).
TS: It’s a sonic departure from what I did on my last album. So I’m so excited that people really embraced the sound of the first single ["We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together"].
ESQ: That title’s a bit long, don’t you think?
TS: We had lots and lots of discussions about what to call this song. For me, from the time I wrote it, it was always “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”
ESQ: It certainly seems more final and authoritative this way.
TS: It’s very final, it’s very aggressive, and it’s not subtle.
ESQ: And you didn’t use parentheses, which I appreciate.

Yesterday, we heard about Olivia Wilde?s public statements regarding her marriage to Tao Ruspoli at an event in NYC a few nights ago. The event was call ?These Girls? and it was sponsored by Glamour Mag ? it was a series of monologues about being a woman, sex, relationships, etc. Olivia took part, and during her monologue, she said about her marriage to Tao, ?I felt like my vagina died. Turned off. Lights out . . . you can lie to your relatives at Christmas dinner and tell them everything on the home front is just peachy. But you cannot lie to your vagina.? During her monologue, she also said she and Jason Sudeikis ?have sex like Kenyan marathon runners.?
After her monologue, she told Vulture ? a gossip/entertainment column in New York Magazine ? that ?Sometimes your vagina dies. Then you know it?s time to go. There?s no reason to sacrifice your womanhood and femininity for some sort of weird feeling of responsibility to something that may not be right. I feel like far too many women do that. [Men] are not allowed to be the only ones thinking with their genitals.? Do you see what happened there? She gave a monologue at a womanity event, fair enough. After her monologue, she talked to a member of the press. I?m just being specific, because Olivia is trying to back-track on her comments after they caused so much controversy. She tweeted:

I get what she?s saying with the part about the monologues ?were not meant for publication, and, in context, were a celebration of LOVE, girls, and honesty.? I truly understand, and I think it would be interesting to hear all of it in context. BUT!! She was still performing at a pub, in public, with people around. Can you still claim privacy if you?re performing this super-personal (and somewhat bitchy) monologue in front of an audience?
But that?s not even the worst part, in my opinion. The worst part is ?Sneaky recorders are everywhere these days, but performance art doesn’t always translate accurately to tabloid interpretation.? Really? Dear Olivia Cockburn: YOU SPOKE TO A MEDIA OUTLET. Don?t claim that it?s a matter of ?sneaky recorders? or that all of the comments Vulture used were straight from your monologue. You actually spoke to a press outlet, and they quoted you. If the quotes were inaccurate, that?s a separate issue. But she?s not saying the quotes weren?t accurate, just that they were ?sneakily recorded?. When she was talking to a media outlet. UGH. Ol’ Cockburn strikes again.
PS… You know what makes it worse? Her parents are journalists. For real. Certainly they would have taught her that when she speaks to a media outlet, the media outlet will report what she said?!

Taylor Swift covers the new issue of Rolling Stone. Thoughts on the cover? I don?t mind the bangs here. I don?t mind the letter jacket or the sleepy-crying eyes. I don?t even mind the position of her leg, or the headline ?The Heartbreak Kid?. What I mind is the way her hand is positioned between her legs, and the way that you have to do a double-take to make sure that she?s wearing shorts. Because that whole effect is really, really gross.
Anyway, the print issue comes out later this week, and I?m sure it will include some crazy, Swifty things that will make us go ?Bunny boiler.? Blake Lively of course wore Chanel to the Chanel Bijoux De Diamant 80th Anniversary party in New York last night, a backless silver silk dress that no doubt cost more than my car. It’s a pretty simple dress for couture, really. It almost looks like one I wore to homecoming in 10th grade. Granted, that dress didn’t start out backless — I kinda hulked out of it during a particularly vigorous bout of the Macarena — but I still made it work for me. That’s called “fashion improvisation.”

Kicking off her fourth headlining tour, Kelly Clarkson took the stage in front of a packed audience in Dublin, Ireland on Wednesday (October 10).
The former ?American Idol? winner rocked skinny jeans and an 80?s-inspired top, belting out some of her biggest hits.
Before heading to the O2 Arena for the first stop on her "Stronger" Tour, Kelly tweeted, ?Are you ready Dublin?!! We have Extreme Rhythm playing with us tonight! It's gonna be a great show! We're also singing my new single woohoo!?
Miss Clarkson also just released her latest single, ?Catch My Breath,? earlier Wednesday.
The catchy tune is the lead track from Kelly?s upcoming Greatest Hits: Chapter One album, which will hit stores on November 16th.
