Taking care of her to-do list, Ellen Page showed up at Whole Foods grocery store in West Hollywood on Thursday afternoon (August 1).
The ?Inception? hottie picked up a few items following her business meeting at a nearby office building.
And while she?s had plenty of success in Tinseltown, Ellen previously lamented the plight of females in Hollywood.
Page explained, "Oh my God, yeah! It's constant! It's how you're treated, it's how you're looked at, how you're expected to look in a photoshoot, it's how you're expected to shut up and not have an opinion."
"If you're a girl and you don't fit the very specific vision of what a girl should be, which is always from a man's perspective, then you're a little bit at a loss. Only 23 percent of speaking roles in films today are for women. It feels we've gone backwards."

While performing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Taylor Swift chipped her tooth while singing “I Knew You Were Trouble.”
As she explains it, she went full retard when she pulled the mic to her mouth and ended up uppercutting her tooth with it. She explained to Rolling Stone,
“Tonight I was particularly hung up on not chipping another tooth like last show in Pittsburgh, definitely. It had a tip on [the tooth] and it doesn’t anymore.
“I try to be really quick with the microphone, so I’m not standing there just waiting to sing with my mic right next to my face, so I really quickly pulled my mic up to sing and basically uppercut punched myself in the tooth.”
Now she sings with a lisp and her entire career is over. Just kidding. That was mean. I didn’t mean to get your hopes up.

In it is your usual Agent Provocateur commercial. Only this time with a lot more ass shots and women dressed in lingerie bending over doggy-style, lining the walls, spread eagle on a floatie and lounging seductively. Some even walk right up to the main guy and spread their legs. It looks like that dude is getting heart palpitations from just being there. Poor guy. Surrounded by all those beautiful women in lingerie. No, wait, fuck you.

These are photos from the We’re the Millers premiere featuring Jennifer Aniston in a tight, strapless eggplant Burberry dress. The dress is very formfitting and unforgiving. Very few women could pull off a fitted dress like that. At least one of our photo agencies posed the “is she pregnant” question, but I think it’s just the way the dress fits. I would look way more pregnant than she does in that dress. I wish she would mix it up with some prints or different styles, but she prefers solid colors and classic fashion.
Anison paired this with some peep-toe suede sandals which don’t seem to go with the elegant look she was going for. She’s wearing her hair in a simple blow out, the way she always does, and her makeup is pretty but understated, which is what we usually see from her. It works for her, I’d just like her to switch it up. I do like how she matched her nails and toes with the dress color.
Also there we have Olivia Wilde, in bright red Osman. She’s not in this movie and a striking red dress seems a little “look at me,” but that’s a minor complaint. Her nude strappy sandals are a nice complement to the dress. Wilde’s fiance, Jason Sudeikis, costars in We’re the Millers. Here they are acting very couple-y. He plays a drug runner who pretends to be married to Aniston’s stripper character.
Emma Roberts wore this very fug black mullet dress. I can’t look at Emma the same after her domestic violence incident. Something nice: her sideswept wavy hair and makeup are so pretty. I would love to get my hair to look like that.

These photos are a welcome sight — Miley Cyrus is doing something normal that doesn’t scream, “Look at me!” Miley is walking one of her dogs, Happy, who just happens to be the one that she rescued from outside a Walmart when it was “starving and scared,” and (as strange as it sounds) I’ve really missed Miley being herself. Remember when we all used to get irritated about her constant Twitpics of dogs? Now that seems like a luxury in comparison to the “We Can’t Stop” era.
Some of you will probably think that Miley was still begging for attention by getting papped, but I don’t think she was looking to be snapped without makeup and without her grills. She was just walking one of her dogs, you know? Miley has also given a interview (remember, she’s on a media blitz thanks to the wily ways of Larry Rudolph) to the HuffPo’s UK extension, and she actually doesn’t sound like a douche. Well, not a total one who is talking about how singing about drugs is proof of being a grown up because she worked so hard to build an empire by age 11. Instead, she’s talking about her new BFF, Britney Spears:
It’s tough making the transition from family-friendly youngster to an adult in the public eye, something Miley Cyrus – who has been blasted for her latest raunchy video – knows all too well. So who does she call up when she needs some advice and understanding? Britney Spears, of course.
The former Hannah Montana star told The Huffington Post UK her close friend Britney is the “one person in [her] life who gets it”.
The “it” she is referring to (we imagine) is the constant paparazzi intrusion and headlines regarding her personal life, on everything ranging from her new image, to drug use and alleged relationship crises.
Asked whether she thinks she and Britney have shared a similar journey, Miley said: “Everyone goes through a time in their life where they don?t want their picture taken everyday. She just never had that time where she could say ‘I?m going through something right now and need to shut down’.
“I also don?t have that, so it?s good to have that one person in my life who gets it.”
Asked whether Britney has been a role model to her, 20-year-old Miley revealed: “I just think it?s never blaming you or making you feel like ?you?ve got all this going for you,? it?s like she knows. Sometimes life just steps in the middle of your career the way life always does for anyone – it?s just ours is a little more 24/7.”

This seems sweet, right? I mean, Britney and Miley are both former child stars from the Disney fun-factory of doom, and I bet they could have conversations about their similar experiences. And I would be willing to be that Miley’s “going through something right now” has to do with the Liam Hemsworth mess as well as her parents’ constant habit of filing divorce papers and retracting them. It’s good if Miley has “that one person” whose experience mirrors her own in some ways, and I wouldn’t doubt that Miley could find comfort in Britney’s words. All the same, I remain slightly skeptical that Britney’s handlers even let her freely (and I mean without a chaperone) talk to Miley, who is clearly into the party scene, drugs, etc. Is this another Larry Rudolph scheme?
In other Miley news, she supposedly is the only person who found Nick Jonas’ hilarious shirtless selfie (complete with a million Instagram filters) to be “super hot.” Not hot enough to leave Liam, mind you. Also, Miley made out with a man dressed as a baby in London last week. Tongue and all. Gross.

It?s becoming increasingly common in Hollywood AND Washington for celebrities and politicians ?in trouble? with varying controversies to do some sort of ?cleaning house? move where they fire prominent people on their team. I always think it?s one of the lamest tactics out there, usually because ?the problem? a celebrity or politician is having is of their own making, and it feels like they?re blaming their staffers for their own mistake. So it is with Reese Witherspoon too ? after the hit her ?good girl? image took after her liquor-soaked American Citizen Arrest in Georgia a few months ago, Reese has decided to fire her manager. I don?t know, y?all. Was her manager the one hanging out of a car, drunkenly sassing a cop?
One of the longest-running relationships between an actress and her manager has just come to an end. I?ve confirmed that Reese Witherspoon has exited Management 360. That ends the 19-year long run between the Oscar-winning actress and her manager Evelyn O?Neill. I haven?t heard a specific reason for the exit, but it has to be a tough day for the founding partner of Management 360, who guided Witherspoon?s career since she was a teenager.
The split is amicable, per both sides. Witherspoon?s star power was at its highest when she headlined comedies like Legally Blonde and Sweet Home Alabama and won her Oscar for 2005?s Walk The Line, but she has been doing fine as an actress and producer. She most recently starred in the Jeff Nichols-directed Mud and has the Atom Egoyan-directed Devil?s Knot opening in Toronto. She next stars in The Good Lie and Paul Thomas Anderson?s Inherent Vice. She?s also a producer on numerous projects including Gone Girl, which is David Fincher?s next film with Ben Affleck starring.
Witherspoon remains with CAA. Said O?Neill: ?The time has come for us to go our separate ways after 19 years. I am so proud of her career and everything we accomplished together.? O?Neill continues to rep clients that include Julianne Moore, Salma Hayek, 42?s Chadwick Boseman, Zach Braff, Bryce Dallas Howard, Greta Gerwig, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bartha and Michael Chiklis.

Of course she?s staying with CAA ? her husband Jim Toth is a prominent and well-respected agent at CAA. If she fired CAA, that would be hitting much too close to home, so to speak. So instead she?s firing her manager of 19 years, the woman who guided Reese?s career from childhood. It seems? wrong. But maybe I?m reading this the wrong way. Maybe Evelyn O?Neill is happy to be rid of Reese too. They?re making such a big deal about how the decision is ?mutual? so I guess Evelyn doesn?t need the headache either.

I can?t think of any younger celebrity couple that I would consider the ?next Brangelina?. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are definitely more than the sum of their parts, a concentrated whirling dervish of A-list careers, charity work, money, fame and controversy. How in the world would Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds even compete with that? And why would they want to? But according to Star Magazine, Blake and Ryan do see themselves as the heirs-apparent to Brangelina. Huh? I?ll buy it about Blake wanting to be more like Angelina, but I don?t know about Ryan.

Blake and Ryan have also talked about their desire to have a large family. A source says, ?They definitely want to have a couple of children biologically, but they love the idea of adopting from Third World countries in order to draw attention to the places, like Brad and Angelina have done.?
Blake once said, ?I don?t have that whole Angelina Jolie air to me. I wish that I did.? A source says, ?Blake constantly monitors Angelina?s clothing style on and off the red carpet.? Star also points out some other similarities ? the age gap between Blake and Ryan is 11 years, same age gap between Brad and Angelina. Brad and Ryan have both been People?s Sexiest Man, both Ryan and Brad ride motorcycles, and both couples met on-set, working on a film. Eh. Blake could have been a more scandalous and more Jolie-esque person if she had owned some of controversies, but she traded in a potential ?wild child? image for something much more wholesome. And I think that?s what she wants, that?s how she wants to be seen, as a wife and a cook and whatever. As for Ryan? he wishes he was seeing some of Brad?s scripts.

Yesterday, I wrote about Jennifer Aniston?s appearance on Chelsea Lately, but, like, none of you read it. Which doesn?t bother me that much, because the interview was incredibly boring. At least, I thought it was boring until I came across some quotes from the interview which were not included in the video excerpts being disseminated. Apparently, Chelsea was telling Jennifer about a recent appearance she (Chelsea) made on Katie Couric?s daytime talk show, and Aniston interrupted Chelsea to shade Couric. Hard.
Jennifer Aniston has never appreciated people prying into her personal life — least of all Katie Couric, who hosts her own syndicated daytime talk show. During a July 31 appearance on E!’s Chelsea Lately, Aniston dissed the 56-year-old TV personality and debunked a recent tabloid rumor about life with Justin Theroux.
Aniston’s BFF Chelsea Handler began by reading an except from a recent magazine article which claimed the couple are nudists: “Jen’s started to embrace her curves at home since longtime lover, nudist Justin, has persuaded her to join in on the fun,” the comedienne read. “She was hesitant at first but now she finds it extremely liberating and they spend entire days at home without any clothes on and even cook naked.”
Theroux’s fiancee rolled her eyes and asked, “What are you reading? Star magazine? We don’t walk around nude, darling.”
Handler then told Aniston, “I’ve seen Justin nude, I hope you know that.” The We’re the Millers star laughed and replied, “Yeah, well, that’s because you barge into places you shouldn’t be. But he’s comfortable enough in his skin.” In regards to the Star story, Aniston clarified, “That’s not true. It’s B.S.”
Handler then admitted to Aniston that it’s difficult being friends with someone so famous. “Katie Couric was asking me on her show about your wedding and I had to act like I didn’t even know you were engaged because I didn’t know that was out,” she explained. “Then she was like, ‘Well, everyone knows about it!’ So, I felt really stupid.”
Clearly annoyed, Aniston, 44, asked, “What’s Katie Couric? Is she a legitimate journalist? Is she getting tabloidy? Wasn’t she on the Today show?”
“She was on the Today show,” said Handler, who accompanied Couric to the White House Correspondents Dinner in May 2010. “She got a demotion to her own show.”

?Is she a legitimate journalist? Is she getting tabloidy?? Says the woman who organizes ?Five Years After Brad? People Magazine covers. Who uses a Vogue Magazine interview to slam Angelina Jolie. I?m just saying? I have no idea why Jennifer Aniston is getting on her high horse (operative word: high) about the tabloid media. For the love of God, SHE SAID THAT ON CHELSEA LATELY. Maybe in Jennifer?s mind, Chelsea Handler is a legitimate journalist? Like, Chelsea Lately is the New York Times of talk shows? And Katie Couric is not? Also, I think it?s a bit rich for any American celebrity to be like ?Who?s Katie Couric? What is she? What?s that?? We can argue about Katie Couric?s journalistic credentials, but don?t try to pull some half-assed shade by pretending not to know who she is or what she does.
In addition to that mess, you?ll note (again) that Aniston bashes Star Magazine. Which is fine. Star Magazine is not Katie Couric. But it?s funny considering this week?s Star Mag is running a ?new interview? with Aniston. For the record, I don?t believe Jennifer sat down for an interview with Star. I think Star culled these quotes from Aniston?s first press junket for We?re the Millers, because several of these quotes have already been used by the AP, USA Today and other outlets. But it just struck me as funny. And there are new quotes:
On her wedding plans: ?There have been no canceled or postponed weddings. There have been no arguments about where to get married. We have yet to set any date. We just want to do it when it?s perfect, we?re not rushed and no one is rushing from a job or rushing to a job. And you know, we already feel married.?
Playing a stripper: ?They had to drag me out of that strip club every night! It was a little uncomfortable at first. You?re on set with a bunch of crew, but when they rolled the cameras I just had to bite the bullet. I worked with this amazing choreographer and learned some pretty amazing moves, so it just became easy and really fun. I have a stripper pole in my house now. Me, Paris Hilton and Kate Hudson.?
Does she think she?s sexy? ?Nobody thinks of themselves as sexy, really. Some days you go, ?Hey, I?m not doing too bad today.? But if you try to be sexy, you?ll never be sexy.?

Amber Heard covers the September issue of Flaunt magazine, and for such a gorgeous girl, magazines really don’t know what to do with her. This shoot is worse than Amber’s recent cheap-looking Bullett spread because Flaunt has managed to make her look lifeless. Clothing by Marc Jacobs, Jason Wu, Gianni Versace (vintage), and Christian Louboutin has never looked so lackluster.
The interview is slightly more interesting though because Amber has a bit of a chip on her shoulder, to say the least. Sure, she’s not the typical starlet who shares everything with the world for publicity’s sake, but Amber honestly seems pretty pretentious in this interview. Off the top of my head, I’m trying to recall her performances in various movies, and she usually doesn’t make much of an impression on me. Like, she was okay in The Stepfather remake and All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, and she was decent as an infected brain-eater at the beginning of Zombieland. But otherwise, she’s forgettable. I’ve watched every single episode of “Californication” and don’t remember seeing her at all, but anyway. This journo makes special mention that Amber drives a powder-blue ’68 Ford Mustang, which leads me to believe that she’s quite fond of both antique cars and antique men. Is that a low blow? I don’t know.
She doesn’t have a driver: “At a certain point, you just have to say, OK, I?m not going to let other people dictate how I run my life.”
Don’t ask about Johnny Depp: “It’s not part of my professional life. I want to be an artist. I don’t want to be a celebrity.”
How she keeps a low profile: “You think I?m going to tell someone in the media my strategies for staying out of the media?”
Don’t ask about her looks either: “Someone will ask me a question about my looks, like something about my hair, and then in the magazine it sounds like I came in and said, ‘You know, what I’d really like to talk about is my hair.’”

She prefers horror over romcoms: “At least the female characters in horror movies fight back and do something for themselves. They’re not just sitting around waiting for a man to save the day.”
On Paranoia: “Paranoia was an interesting script. I loved how you’re dealing with a lot of old themes like greed and power, but it’s such a modern story. My character basically had to be smart enough to manipulate Liam Hemsworth’s character. Yes, there are sex scenes, but it wasn’t like she was falling at his feet. [The script] doesn?t say that these characters are ‘sexy.’ I?m not picking them because of that. I take roles that are interesting, and scripts that have female characters with depth. I?m working with what I?ve got.”
On Machete Kills: “Robert [Rodriguez] understood why this role was totally perfect for me. She’s a beauty queen from San Antonio, but she’s got this whole other side.”
She carries a gun: “Gun ownership needs to be regulated, not banned.”
Any co-stars with amazing chemistry? “You don?t really expect me to answer that, do you?”

I find it interesting that Amber claims to be such an “artist” yet she chose to star with Eddie Cibrian in the short-lived “Playboy Club.” Oh, and she got Johnny to score her a nicer set trailer than Gary Oldman’s, while Gary is obviously the true artist on any film set. Although I do appreciate that Amber waited so long to make an official couple debut with Johnny (they dated for for nearly a year beforehand, depending on whose timeline you believe), but it’s hard to claim that you’re not a “celebrity” when you’re using your boyfriend’s connections to get more perks on the job. You know?

Britney Spears sings ?Ooh La La? in ?The Smurfs 2?, but the song title took on a very different meaning as the pop star showed for grocery shopping in Thousand Oaks, CA on Thursday (August 1) decked out in a verrrry tight T-shirt that sported the words ?The Bigger the Better.?
Also making news, the 31-year-old songstress' former ?X Factor? colleague, Simon Cowell, took veiled jabs at her judging skills. At a conference with TV critics, Cowell compared the last season of his talent search show to a bad dinner party.
?You invite people for dinner and sometimes it's a fun night and other times it's not as fun as you hoped it would be,? he said.
In addition to Spears and Cowell, Demi Lovato and L.A. Reid were on the panel last season. Cowell said he knew the show wasn?t working from ?day one.?
The new season, premiering this fall, will add Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio as judges, ?This [season] is a fun dinner party,? Cowell promised. Lovato will return as well.

The "Almost Famous" star looked fit as a fiddle in a black sports bra, cropped black workout tights, and bare feet as she held her son Bingham on her hip.
Recently, the 34-year-old actress divulged her own brush with the royals as the world goes gaga over Prince George. With her mom being Goldie Hawn, famous faces were likely to drop by their home.
Sharing the little connection she has with the Princes, Kate explained, "Prince William and Prince Harry actually stayed at our house in Colorado when they were kids. We were all in L.A. and they were staying with their mom at the time and we get this phone call at the house. Sure enough, I think it was Prince William calling my dad to ask if he could use the ATVs, the four-wheeler things." Afterwards, "My dad goes, 'That's a really well-raised boy.' It was pretty cool."

And by the looks of her perfect posture it did her some good, as the "Spring Breakers" star left looking refreshed in a floral skirt and white sleeveless top.
Hudgens can next be seen on the big screen on August 23, when her latest film, "The Frozen Ground" hits theaters. She?s also been busy lending her voice to an animated film, "The Great Migration.?
The 24-year-old is now in talks to star in ?Kitchen Sink,? a movie that revolves around a group of teens who form an ?unlikely alliance with vampires and zombies in order to take on an alien army.?
She?ll definitely need to see the chiropractor again after finishing that flick!

Kate Hudson wore a patchwork denim minidress from the Balmain Resort 2014 collection (strike TWO, Balmain Resort 2014!) to the “Clear History” premiere yesterday in Hollywood, and if the words “patchwork denim minidress,” didn’t already tip you off, it’s hideous. The top half is boxy and shapeless, the bottom half’s too short, and the entire thing screams Happy Hands at-home craft circle. It’s nice that the dress has built in hip holsters for her six-shooters, though. You can’t wear a dress made of bedazzled denim oven mitts and not expect to get attacked at some point in the evening.

Chatting with her well-known bestie, Chelsea Handler told the "Friends" star that people constantly ask her about Jen, noting that Katie Couric asked about her wedding while the blonde host appeared on her daytime show.
Disappointed in the 56-year-old host's behavior, Ms. Aniston said, "What's Katie Couric -- is she a legitimate journalist? Is she getting tabloidy? Wasn't she on the 'Today' show? It's Katie Couric!"
