Lindsay Lohan hit up the evening wear section of the Frederick’s of Hollywood catalog for the premiere of her new Lifetime movie “Liz & Dick” last night, and if the dress weren’t bad enough, the movie is even worse than expected. The Daily Mail says:
The Hollywood Reporter critic Tim Goodman likened Lohan’s performance “half train wreck, half SNL skit” in his scathing recent review, [saying] the film was “spectacularly bad.”
“Lohan is woeful as Taylor from start to finish,” [says Goodman], “but whatever you do, don?t miss Liz & Dick. It?s an instant classic of unintentional hilarity. Drinking games were made for movies like this. It [actually] gets worse as it goes on… by the time Lohan is playing mid-?80s Taylor, your body may be cramped by convulsions.”
Who needs “fittings” or “stylists” or “a bra” when you’ve got Carole Lombard’s nightgown and a pair of pinking shears. The stolen jewelery really adds a nice touch.
Slip dresses should never have their own jeweled tassels or bellybutton cut-outs unless you plan on swinging around a pole later in the evening. Get a sexy and sophisticated slip dress here from Gold Hawk or here from Ann Demeulemeester.

The ?Real Housewives of Miami? beauty looked gorgeous in a peach dress with a denim jacket as she chatted on her cell phone.
In regards to her recent breakup, the 33-year-old made the shocking announcement earlier that day telling In Touch, ?We got in a huge fight, and I just pretty much got fed up with it.?
?He loves me to death, he wants to be with me, but there's something that's holding him from committing 100 percent,? Miss Krupa added.

Rihanna?s first single from the new album, ?Diamonds?, has already gone to #1. This puts Rihanna in a very elite standing in the music industry ? she has now tied Madonna with 12 number singles on the Billboard Hot 100, and Rihanna is the ?fastest female solo artist? to accumulate that number ? she?s done it all in less than seven years. Rihanna is now looking to break records set by ?the Beatles (20 #1s), Mariah Carey (18) and Michael Jackson (13 solo #1s) for the most Hot 100 chart toppers of all time.? Can I just say? I don?t think ?Diamonds? is a very song. I sometimes find myself liking some of Rihanna?s singles in spite of myself (I loved ?We Found Love? and that one she did with Drake), but I think ?Diamonds? sucks as a song.

It?s the wrong color for her (it washes her out) and she just looks so bloated and dirty. One of the untold stories of LL?s crackie-ness is that her makeup artists hate her. But LL walked the red carpet like she thought she was the second coming of Marilyn Monroe. Crackhead is delusional. Water is wet (also: vodka).

When asked about Barbara Walters, LL said: ?And I love her. I?m a big fan of Barbara Walters. I met her when I was very young. So when it?s right, she knows she?ll be the first person I sit down with.? She also said that she plans to spend Thanksgiving in New York with her family: ?I love to cook. My brother and I usually take over the stuffing and the potatoes. The yams? We do marshmallows on top.? So? when is she getting arrested? Hopefully the LAPD will arrest her before she skips town? Her hair looked much better during this interview:

Amanda Seyfried appears in the December issue of Vanity Fair in a gorgeous photoshoot that VF has just made available online. She’s currently promoting her roles in both Les Miserables and Lovelace, which are two movies that probably couldn’t be more different. Oddly enough, VF describes Amanda as “very pale and very interesting” (which seems like a strange way to describe an actress, right?) The shoot shows her draped in various couture outfits including some selections from Valentino, Dior, and Elie Saab. Mostly, this post is about eye candy because Amanda is so seriously beautiful, but she arrives with very little gossip fodder, so this is merely a chance to ooh and ahh over pretty clothes. Also, this dog is pretty damn cute.
There’s also a brief interview to go along with the shoot, and it’s not terribly interesting stuff, but Amanda does say a few mildly amusing things about Hugh Jackman and going down on a popsicle. Don’t worry — those two topics do not belong together at all. Here are some excerpts:
On shooting Mean Girls: “Back then I thought every movie that was made found an audience and things were all stars and butterflies,” she sighs, “before I developed a relationship with this world.”
On working with Hugh Jackman in Les Mis: “There is nothing bad to say about Hugh. He isn’t human. I bet you anything he’s got some kind of superhuman capabilities, beyond just being just the kindest, gentlest soul I?ve come across.” Plus, she says, he has a wildly inappropriate sense of humour, which she shares. Together they invented alternative story lines that transformed their characters’ tender relationship into something altogether less innocent, like the old Renault “Papa!” and “Nicole!” ads gone wild. “We sexualized everything as much as we could. It was really funny, the moments we could find . . . It’s like every movie has another version, another satirical version of itself.”
On the challenges of Lovelace: “We were doing a scene where I was supposed to be going down on Peter Sarsgaard. We used a popsicle, and I had my arms covering the popsicle. It was footage that he was going to show the Deep Throat guy, to get her into the movie, to get her cast. I was laughing hysterically throughout. I couldn?t stop laughing.”

I wonder exactly what Lovelace will do for Amanda’s career. This isn’t the same movie that once starred Lindsay Lohan (that was Inferno and went on to cast Malin Akerman), so it’s probably not quite as trashy as any pic that involved itself with a Lohan. Still, playing a pr0n star seems like an unconventional choice for Amanda Seyfried, who does best in romantic comedies, musicals, and weepy Nicholas Sparks films. Oh well, here’s some more clothing pr0n!

These are some photos of a very low-key-looking Sarah Jessica Parker, out and about in NYC a few days ago. Yes, I said low-key. This is HER low-key. My version of low-key is sweatpants and slippers that double as outdoor shoes (for real). SJP?s version of low-key is printed skinny jeans, a loud, polka-dotted puffy jacket and what I?m assuming are $2000 boots and $500 sunglasses. Still, don?t call SJP a ?fashion icon?. In a recent interview with People Mag, SJP admitted (?) that she never ?identified? with Carrie Bradshaw?s label-consciousness.
Sex and the City?s Carrie Bradshaw is considered a fashion icon to many women, but the woman who played her says she doesn?t identify.
?It?s not an identity that I ? connect to. I?m grateful if anyone says anything kind, and if they say something less kind, I take that as a part of anyone talking about you at all,? Sarah Jessica Parker told PEOPLE on Wednesday night at the Barneys New York and Walt Disney Company ?Electric Holiday? launch. ?It?s not how I think of myself and I think it?s probably the healthier approach.?
Don?t get her wrong ? the actress still appreciates a good outfit. ?I love beautiful things,? she said, ?and I?m privileged to borrow a beautiful dress. I feel really lucky and I genuinely enjoy it. I feel like [fashion] has a proper place in my life.?
But let?s just say you won?t catch her in a tutu at the grocery store. ?It?s just not a reality ? not when you have three kids and you go to the market and there are hungry people at home. You have a limited time to do it. There?s just no time to let vanity enter into that,? she said.
While picking the right dress was a priority for Wednesday night?s event (Parker, who hosted, wore L?Wren Scott), the star said the main goal of the evening was helping superstorm Sandy victims. Select Barneys stores and Barneys.com are donating 25 percent of sales from the Electric Holiday product collection to the American Red Cross for relief efforts.
?Everybody?s in serious need and this is going to go on for a while,? Parker said. ?I?ve been giving back in a way that I feel I can and should and it?s not going to end in the next week. There?s still going to be a lot of opportunity in the future to see how people are doing and what they need.?

Good on her for the Hurricane Sandy benefit and all of that ? even though I have my issues with SJP, I have to admit that she does a lot of excellent work with New York charities and she has a long history of giving back to the community. As for the stuff about fashion? I?m of two minds. One side, I do believe her when she talks about what a ?privilege? it is to borrow clothes, and I think she really does get a child-like glee from playing dress-up. On the other side, SJP LOVES fashion. She flat-out loves it. She loves creating big fashion moments and she loves working with designers and she loves clothes, and she has a long history with all of that too. So I don?t understand why she?s trying to suddenly rebrand herself as somehow too down-to-earth to enjoy fashion. What?s the deal?

I continue to be surprised by the fact that all of the tabloids ? save for People Mag, I guess ? are running stories about Amber Heard and Johnny Depp and how they?re either back on or how they never even split up. I?ve said before, and I still believe: I think Depp and Heard really did take a break over the summer and only recently got back in touch and started something up again. I think they both realized they were getting bad press with their ?out of nowhere? intensity and romance, so they decided to cool it down and return for more later. Later happened, and now they?re going strong? Perhaps. Last week, the tabs claimed that Johnny was ?blinded by love? for crazy hippie-dippy free spirit bisexual Amber, and this week Us Weekly is saying that Johnny has even TOLD Amber that he loves her. *clutches multiple scarves*
Clandestine couple no more! Johnny Depp and girlfriend Amber Heard indulged in a rare date night out at Los Angeles? AV Nightclub November 5.
After arriving at 11 p.m., the twosome ? who kicked off a romance in late 2011 during their Rum Diary press tour ? settled in on the patio, where, a witness says, they sipped nonalcoholic beers sitting side by side.

Lindsay Lohan has an interview in the new issue of Us Weekly, and I don?t want to oversell this thing, but it is one of the saddest/funniest/craziest/most delusional things you will EVER READ. In your life. I?m guessing that Lindsay agreed to do a sit-down interview with Us Weekly because A) Maybe People Mag wouldn?t play ball and B) Because she?s promoting Liz & Dick in all of the Lohan-friendly press outlets, and Us Weekly was more willing to simply sit back and ?Let Lohan Be Lohan?. And good God, it is crack magic! Some highlights:
She?s finally getting her act together: ?I want to be known as an actress, not a troubled starlet. People can think what they want, and the only thing I can do is prove them wrong.?
She wants kids: ?I want to adopt a son.?
Love and Oscars: ?I?m not focused on that yet. I want to do a ton of movies first. After I win an Oscar, I can start thinking about love. I think there are a lot of directors and producers who know I?m a good actress. I just want them to get past the misconception that I?m not reliable, because I am. I?m going to make them believe in me again.?
She regrets nothing, because she her struggles make her a better actress: “[I regret] nothing, because then I wouldn’t have been able to cry in scenes at the drop of a hat. I have it tattooed: LIVE WITHOUT REGRETS. I’m not saying I wanted to go to a jail cell, but I’ve drawn from all of it.”
Comparing herself to Elizabeth Taylor: “Elizabeth was drunk on sets. I’ve never been drunk on set, ever. I did my time and I respect the law.”
Lockup: “As hard as it was for me to admit it when I was in denial, it was a blessing in disguise,” she said of her stint behind bars. “I was in solitary confinement and I took the time to really get into the right headspace.”
Comparing herself to Marilyn Monroe: “Marilyn Monroe went to an institution and said, ‘I may not belong here like the world thinks I do, but I might as well take what I can get here and use it and help other people. I think that?s what everyone should take from those experiences.”
What she would tell her 16-year-old self: “Don’t drink and drive. And be careful who you surround yourself with.”

Even though Lindsay Lohan’s probation might soon be revoked, she seemed in pretty high spirits at theLiz & Dick premiere at the Beverly Hills Hotel last night. Though why wouldn’t she be. This is the biggest project she’s worked on in years where she’s the lead. Sure there wasLabor Pains in 2009 and I Know Who Killed Me in 2007 but those were terrible, awful movies that should have been aborted. This one could end up with similar reviews but it’s a Lifetime movie and is to be expected.

Walking the red carpet with the film's main character conspicuously absent, the stars of "Hitchcock" gathered for a grand west coast premiere in Beverly Hills on Tuesday (November 20).
Though Anthony Hopkins - who plays the legendary filmmaker - was nowhere to be found, Jessica Biel certainly satisfied those on hand as she showed off her gorgeous self while working the Samuel Goldwyn Theater arrivals area in a glam black frock.
Also on hand to support the Sacha Gervasi film were Helen Mirren, Toni Collette and Jamie Lee Curtis, who wowed in white while tending to media duties alongside her supportive sister, Kelly Lee.
Also starring Scarlett Johansson, Kurtwood Smith and Tara Summers, the upcoming biopic follows the love story of Alfred Hitchcock and his wife Alma Reville during the filming of "Psycho" in 1959.
The PG-13 motion picture is set for a limited theatrical release this Friday, November 23rd.

As for Lindsay's new Lifetime film, critics are already bashing what was supposed to be her ?comeback role.?
In recently released reviews of the movie, Variety called her performance ?adequate? while Newsday agreed, dubbing her acting skills as ?rudimentary ? made rustier by a long absence and a lot of extracurricular activities.? The Hollywood Reporter also chimed in by explaining that LiLo?s recent gig was ?spectacularly bad? and causes ?unintentional hilarity.?
