The SI Swimsuit issue hitting newsstands Monday will be accompanied by a new smartphone app with the usual mix of news, photographs and video, as well as, for the first time, a VR component featuring three former cover models ? Nina Agdal, Hannah Davis and Irina Shayk ? who were shot on location in the Dominican Republic.
Several of these shots are monumentally awesome.

Bella looked relaxed and flashed her toned tummy in the cute bikini with a front bow tie.

Before hitting the Grammys stage to deliver a pretty solid version of Lionel Richie’s “Hello” (which Lionel himself and Bruno Mars thoroughly enjoyed), Demi Lovato was confident on the red carpet in a suit by Norisol Ferrari. It’s alright, I guess, nothing spectacular. With the plunging neckline, the jacket does lend an edge to the ensemble, and I’m sure the former Disney star turned a head or two with this outfit. I am fascinated by the necklace. It’s giving me a “soda can pull tab” vibe. She wore a white version of the same jacket, paired with black pants, for the Lionel tribute. I did notice that she wasn’t wearing the ring she got from Wilmer for Valentine’s Day. Girl got a weave too. As a blonde who once got extensions (hey, it was the 90s), weaves look better on dark haired women, they’re not quite so obvious. I dig it. Well played for your Grammy debut, Demi.
Chrissy Teigen looked positively angelic in a white gown by Yousef Al-Jasmi. The 30-year-old model dazzled in the neoprene gown, complete with a bling encrusted cape, that showcased her growing baby bump (she and husband John Legend are expecting their first child, a girl). Chrissy accessorized her dress with 20-carat diamond stud earrings and a rectangle ring, both by Lorraine Schwartz, and a second diamond ring by Ofira Jewels.
Apparently the choice to wear this particular gown came sort of last minute for Chrissy. She told People magazine that regarding her fittings, ?I grow two inches every 12 days…not that anyone?s counting. They?re different every time because I keep growing like crazy. But we?re looking at two very different options.? I think she definitely made the right choice here. Hubby John, who won a Grammy for best song written for visual media for ?Glory? (awarded prior to the televised portion of the ceremony), looked dapper in a Gucci tuxedo with copper accents. John also took part in the Lionel Richie tribute, singing the Commodores hit “Easy”. These two are “easy” on the eyes. They make a gorgeous couple.
Best New Artist winner Meghan Trainor wore a sparkly black Michael Costello gown on the red carpet. The singer’s date for the evening was her Dad (which is kind of sweet) and she used the occasion to not only show off a new auburn hair color, but announced that her new album would be available for pre-order “around March 4th.”
Not only did she sing “You Are” during the Lionel Richie tribute, she also delivered an emotional acceptance speech after winning her award. Through her tears, she thanked her team for ?looking at me like an artist? and her parents for ?always believing in [her].? Before leaving the stage, she said, ?I?m a mess, I have to go cry.? So, the dress. It’s elegant, it is situation-appropriate. That’s about it. It looks a little dated (are shoulder pads back?) and makes her look a little bit too old for her 22 years. Her hair looked great and I do love the clutch she’s carrying.

Just FYI: Russell Wilson still isn?t sleeping with Ciara. Last week, she spoke to Cosmo about their abstinence and how difficult it is to maintain. She said: ?We’re hanging in there. I’m not gonna lie. I’m human, so it is not easy, especially when I look at him and I think he is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen ? that I’ve ever laid my eyes on, to be honest. I’m like, Look the other way! Look the other way!? Keep that in mind when you look at these photos.
Personally, I think Ciara is one of the most beautiful women out there. But her style tends to be all over the place, and she loves to wear risqu styles. A lot of people talked about her Alexandre Vauthier dress because it was one of the most revealing dresses on the Grammy red carpet. But? I like that not everything is hanging out. Yes, that slit is really, really high. But it was actually on trend for the night, because a lot of women (even Taylor Swift) were showing off their legs. As for the actual structure and design of the dress? it?s okay, not great. I think I might have liked it more if the entire dress had been sequined.
So, here?s my question: if you and your man were trying to stay abstinent, would you wear this dress?

Let?s get the superficial stuff out of the way first. Taylor Swift was set to own this year?s Grammys ? she was one of the top-nominated artists, she was widely expected to win at least one of the big awards (which happened), and she?s one of the biggest things in music today. So why choose this Versace two-piece? Why try to dominate the conversation with a new haircut which is neither flattering nor cute? Every time Taylor tried to walk in this hot Pink mullet skirt, the skirt billowed open revealing Taylor?s matching panties, and there was some bagginess there which made it look like she was wearing a diaper. As for the hair? it looks like Anna Wintour?s exact haircut. Taylor IS one of this year?s Met Gala co-chairs, so maybe that?s it? I?m all for Taylor getting a short haircut, you know, I just don?t think this is the cut.
Taylor?s date last night was her BFF Selena Gomez, which was cute. Selena wore a Calvin Klein gown and Selena seemed to have pre-gamed pretty hard, like she seemed sort of baked on the red carpet. Selena was just there as a presenter and Taylor?s date, and it seemed like they spent the whole night gossiping and having fun, which is cool. If you?re wondering why Calvin Harris did not escort his girlfriend? E! News says Calvin and Taylor are fine, they?re not breaking up, he was just in the studio and couldn?t get away, and Taylor was always going to bring Selena as her date.
As for Taylor?s opening? she did ?Out of the Woods,? which (just my opinion) isn?t her strongest song off of 1989. The whole thing felt very jazz-handy and LIZA WITH A Z.

Then when Taylor won Album of the Year, she decided to say something directly about the Kanye West situation:
“I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame. But if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, some day when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there and that will be the greatest feeling in the world.”
I?m totally fine with Taylor framing the issue this way, and speaking to young women about her experiences being underestimated, being publicly slammed, and having Kanye West take credit for her fame. I even enjoy the fact that she basically calls Kanye a sideshow. But? did she and Kanye ever have dinner and talk about his album or what? I guess this is Taylor?s denial that it ever happened.

Carrie Underwood was one of the first celebrities on the red carpet at The Grammys and she was nothing if not predictable. Carrie was in a strapless black Nicolas Jebran gown with a high slit and a bow on the side. This is some prom level fug, as Kaiser put it to me. Carrie usually goes for big gowns and this was no exception. She’s ditched the big hair, although this slicked back look isn’t much better. Giuliana Rancic was crowing that she had the same hairstyle, which has been inexplicably popular lately. Carrie had better hair on Talking Dead Sunday night. Oh and she said the necklace was a Valentine’s gift. If she wasn’t joking then damn that must have cost a fortune.
Carrie performed a mashup of Take your Time and Heartbeat with Sam Hunt (you can see a clip here). It was the second performance of the night and one of way too many slow songs. I mean the performances were incredible but I wanted more high energy numbers and dancing. Show me dancing and sets! We didn’t get a choreographed number until Kendrick Lamar performed nearly two hours in. (Yes there was Hamilton too.) Some people are comparing Carrie and Sam’s performance to Grease, but again there was no dancing so I’m not seeing it.

Zendaya was in this Dsquared2 black power suit but everyone is talking about her mullet wig. I like the choice of a suit, but given how high she’s set the fashion bar this is somewhat of a letdown from her. She towered over Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet, which makes me wonder what kind of shoes she’s wearing under there. They look like platforms. She’s a chameleon with her looks that’s for sure.
Elle King looks just like my neighbor. I think they have a similar kind of cherubic face, or maybe they’re both drunk all the time, six to one. She was wearing black lace and fringe Christian Siriano. At least this dress is one solid color but it looks too busy. Fringe and lace do not belong together. Plus there are feathers! It’s like an art project. Those shoes are all wrong too.
Tove Lo, also in black, was in a terrible lingerie look Malene Birger gown. I think I actually owned a cheap nightie cami like this at some point. On every level this is bad and it’s even got a see through skirt. Look at her styling. She has pink-orange eyeshadow and nude lips. It looks like she’s ill. Tove’s nosering is Givenchy, if it matters. This is even worse than the same one-note look Tove wore to the AMAs.

Last week, I posted about Demi Lovato’s recent appearance on Ellen, in which she implied she’d like to see a ring from her beau, Wilmer Valderrama. It looks like the wish fairy showed up at Demi’s doorstep with her requested bling.
Demi, who recently joined Snapchat under the user name @theddlovato (and appears to be still trying to get the hang of it, if this recent Tweet is any indication) re-posted a Snapchatted picture of her new ring on her Instagram account. The photo, of the couple holding hands, was captioned “You are my world, my life, my best friend, my love and my purpose. I love you so much Wilmer…” quickly followed by the disclaimer, “y’all are crazy btw… That is my RIGHT hand and my MIDDLE finger ? I am NOT engaged.” Side note, do Wilmer’s fingernails look a bit janky? My ex-hubby worked a blue collar job and has better looking fingernails. Sorry for that mini-vent, I have a “thing” about guys’ hands.

Here is our Open Post for this year?s Grammy Awards, held tonight on CBS at 8 pm EST and likely go on until 11:30 or longer. I always forget that too, that the Grammys are one of those neverending shows. Your Open Post hosts are two couples from Clive Davis?s annual pre-Grammy party (which was held Sunday night). First, we have Miranda Kerr and her billionaire boyfriend Evan Spiegel. I had been saying Miranda looked knocked up last week, but in these photos, she looks like she?s back to her slim self. So? no billionaire-baby YET. The second couple is? Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger. Are they back together? Are they still split up but just friendly? I have no idea.
As for the Grammys, my God, this is going to suck so hard. Prepare yourselves. LL Cool J is the MC/host of the night. Taylor Swift is opening the night. Lady Gaga has eight minutes to pay tribute to David Bowie. Ellie Goulding is doing a collaboration (her voice irritates me), Justin Bieber will perform with Diplo and Skrillex. Johnny Depp and the Hollywood Vampires will perform a tribute. I?m looking forward to some stuff though: Adele is performing, as is The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar (not together). The cast of Hamilton will perform. Gary Clarke Jr. is performing Bonnie Raitt and Stapleton, which actually sounds sort of brilliant.
All that being said, it?s going to be a terrible night for fashion, so buckle up and drink something caffeinated, because there are going to be some extreme lulls during this show.
