Looking straight out of a magazine photoshoot, Karolina Kurkova stepped out in Tribeca in New York City on Thursday (March 28).
The former Victoria's Secret Angel looked gorgeous in a cream cable knit sweater, black wool coat, floppy black hat, knee-length skirt, and tall leather boots as she gave a slight smile to photographers.
Happy to help fans with free beauty advice, the Czech model shares quick tips via her personal Twitter account.
On Thursday, Karolina advised, "The lipstick u wear 2 a business meeting (try serious wine shades) should differ frm meeting the parents (think pink)!" and "Dipping freshly manicured nails into a bowl of cold water for a minute can help nails dry MUCH quicker."

On Tuesday, the "Argo" star retweeted a message from President Obama saying, "Same-sex couples should be able to get married" with the simple comment, "I agree."

Mary Elizabeth Winstead is in the March 2013 issue of Zooey Magazine where she looks really pretty and ethereal. Hopefully this is what I see at the foot of my bed when I’m about to die. That would make the whole death thing suck a little less.
In the issue, Winstead talks about her height (’5’9”) and how some actors have to stand on boxes to film a scene with her. “I can’t even tell you how many chemistry reads I’ve been on that I know right when I walk in the room that they’re not going to think it looks right because I’m taller than the actor that’s already been cast.” This brings up a very important question. Is Hollywood just a bunch of Hobbits running around?
Winstead has also been with her husband since she was 17. So if you were hoping for stories about her whoring around, tough luck.
Anyway, we basically learn she’s a very normal 28-year-old who probably hasn’t evenorchestrateda nip slip in her entire career. Boo. Hiss.

These are photos of the NYC premiere of The Place Beyond the Pines, and Eva Mendes could have made an impressive turn (this is her “big star” moment, right?) in some serious fashion. Instead, she chose this long-sleeved, orange Prada dress that follows the recent orange trend, but the look as a whole is kind of awful. It doesn’t make much sense as a red-carpet ensemble for a leading lady — there’s soo much fussiness with the sheer fabric, frou-frou bodice, and holy crap, the encrusted butterfuly nonsense going on at the waist. Those shoes are really ugly too.
Overall, this is an underwhelming dress although her hair and makeup look fine. There’s no real drama here, and Eva is fully capable of bringing the drama in more ways than one. I’m not anti-Eva like many of you. She seems pretty harmless as a Hollywood player even if I can’t stomach the fact that she uses a shock collar on her dog, and she has no fashion sense of which to speak.
Ryan Gosling wore a black velvet suit that gives me the heebie jeebies. I would never be able to date a dude who wore this suit and was serious about it, but I’m not a Gosling die hard devotee. He seems so overrated and kind of full of himself, and I don’t find him physically appealing either. Maybe that’s why Eva doesn’t bother me that much.
I’m including photos of Bradley Cooper (looking like a Muppet serial killer and trying to rock the Brad Pitt World War Z hairdo) as well as Ray Liotta’s amazing Botox forehead and the revolting Terry Richardson … being revolting as usual.

You know that Kim has worn a few pieces of Chanel during her pregnancy, right? Well, Karl Lagerfeld was asked about Kim during a recent interview, and Karl was actually sort-of nice about it. He said: ?It?s very pretentious to say ?I don?t want to see this on that person, etc.? Everybody is allowed to buy it, to enjoy it. I?m not there as a fashion judge, I?m there as a designer.? Which is as nice as Karl Lagerfeld gets, truly. He didn?t call Kim names, he?s just like ?Well, anybody can buy the clothes, whatever.?
As for Kim?s Tonight Show appearance? I?m including the videos below. Kim?s girlie-stripper voice annoys me, but the interview isn?t terrible. Kim admits that her pregnancy was ?a pleasant surprise? it wasn?t really planned.? As for baby names, she says: ?We have a list. And some of them are ?K? names some of them aren’t. North is not on our list? but you know what name I do like – but it probably won’t be on [our list]… I like Easton – Easton West – I think that’s cute.? In Part II, Kim talks about her weight and the media and how she doesn?t appreciate being called ?fat?.

Good news everyone — these are brand new Tom Cruise photos! I’ve been jonesing for a few weeks as Tom has geared up for his Oblivion promotional tour because when it comes to the Cruise, I’m a lot like Kaiser with Tom Hiddleston photos, but very different too. I mean, it’s obviously not a sex thing (ha!) with Tom. I just need to see the lifts every so often because I see it as a sign of balance in the universe, so when I saw that Tom attended the Buenos Aires premiere of Oblivion, and we didn’t have access to the photos, I grew dispondent. Kaiser and CB thought my reaction was hilarious, but honestly, I started to whine pathetically like that heroin girl in the Evil Dead red-band trailer. I solemnly said to the internet, “You. Need. To. Get. Me. Those. Lifts. NOW.” Sadly, no dice.
As a close second (as in no lifts), here are some photos of Tom in Rio de Janiero on Thursday. His hair looks very Simon Cowell-esque, don’t you think? His eyes are especially crazy. I implore you to enlarge this photo and gaze into the madness.
Hopefully, we’ll see some actual premiere pictures soon. In the meantime, a story in this week’s Enquirer puts forth the amusing scenario of Tom being all upset with Katie Holmes for daring to sex it up a little bit in some recent jewelry ads and her oily, beachy Allure spread that (to quote Kaiser) made Katie look “like she’s been boning someone hot at the beach.” Allegedly, Tom is all kinds of angry that Katie would shame Suri by daring to be a little sexy instead of continuing to act like a perfect Scientology Stepford wife. Here are the details:
An irate Tom Cruise is upset with his ex Katie Holmes over her steamy poses in a series of eye-popping photos, sources say. The doe-eyed beauty let it all hang out in a sizzling new ad campaign in wich she’s made to look naked and barely covering her breasts with her hands.
Besides that, 34-year-old Katie got wet and wild on the cover of the April issue of Allure magazine, appearing to be topless and dripping wet with a sultry, come-hither look on her face.
“Tom is fit to be tied over Katie’s red-hot new image,” and insider told the Enquirer. “It is sure to burn him up because he thinks Katie is deliberately trying to rub his nose in her sassy single-girl persona.
“It seems as if Katie’s trying to get back at Tom for forcing her to live under his controlling ways for so long. The pictures might also be a way of Katie pointing a finger in Tom’s face and saying, ‘Eat your heart out, buddy — this is what you’re missing!”
Katie’s provocative poses made worldwide headlines, and the 50-year-old Mission: Impossible hunk read her the riot act for putting herself on public display like that, says the source. Tom is concerned about her sweet motherly image going to pot and their 6-year-old daughter Suri being embarrassed by the photographs, according to the source.
“The bottom line is that it galls Tom to no end that he doesn’t have the power to call the shots with Katie anymore,” says the source.
The former “Dawson’s Creek” cutie shredded her girl-next-door image by appearing in various states of undress in an ad campaign for the upscale Brazilian jeweler H. Stern. In one phot, she appears to be slipping out of her bikini top, while other shots show her flaunting her sexy body.
“The photos in the H. Stern ads are extremely hot,” noted the source. “If Katie were still married to Tom, there’s no way he’d have signed off on them. Katie had to know that releasing the photos now would drive Tom crazy.” Katie has posed for two previous H. Stern ad campaigns, but neither was as sex-sational as her latest photos.
“In the Allure magazine photos, Katie has tousled hair, wet skin, and smudged makeup,” said the source. “It seems as if she’s trying to recreate the look of a woman who’s just emerged from a wild lovemaking session.”

Call me crazy (not like Cruise), but I honestly don’t think Katie did these steamy shoots to get back at Tom and show him what he’s been missing. I don’t think she puts that much thought into the dude other than to continually attempt to shake off the PTSD associated with six years of marriage to the tiny tyrant. I think Katie did these shoots to further her career and (hopefully) show Hollywood that she’s still capable of playing “sultry.” As for Tom’s feigned concern on behalf of Suri, I just have to say …. Tom-bitch, please. Katie wasn’t showing off anything improper at all. Tom’s just mad that he can no longer tell Katie what to do.

Here are some photos of Eva Mendes out and about in New York this week. Eva isn?t important enough to do, like, breaking-news coverage of her street style, but I still enjoy looking through the photos. I really don?t think Eva?s street style is as great as she seems to think ? the ankle booties are unfortunate, her prints are too busy and that white dress makes her look like she?s the bride at a shotgun Texas wedding.
Eva?s been everywhere this week because she?s promoting The Place Beyond The Pines, which? I?ve seen some reviews, and they make it sound like the film is completely boring, overwrought and Lifetime-esque. So, chalk up another bad movie for Eva! This shall be one of many bad Eva Mendes films. I know it?s mean to say, but she?s really not anything special as an actress. She?s pretty, she has great hair and she?s sexy and she’s a complete dud as an actress. But in Eva?s mind, she could be just as good as Jessica Chastain, if only someone would hire her!
Eva Mendes is so jealous of Jessica Chastain?s success, she?s ordered her high-powered agent to go after the same roles, according to a Hollywood insider.
?Eva?s been almost obsessed with Jessica since she played the part of Maya in ?Zero Dark Thirty?, a role Eva wanted for herself,? a close friend told The Enquirer. Jessica won an Oscar nomination and a Golden Globe for the role, and now sources say Eva wants to pursue more serious parts instead of just banking on her sex appeal.
Eva, 39, is taking advice from boyfriend Ryan Gosling, who?s convinced her to chase prestigious parts that can bring her an Oscar. Since Ryan and Eva began dating in September 2011, friends say Ryan has given her a ?complex? over her career.
?I think he is very controlling and tells her he thinks she can do better,? said the friend. ?It is as if Eva lives to please Ryan and is desperate to impress him.?
To further boost her career, Eva listened to Ryan and signed on with super-agent Hylda Queally ? who also represents her rival Jessica.
?It?s no coincidence that she?s now with Hylda? aside from Jessica, Hylda looks after Cate Blanchett and Marion Cotillard, so she knows her stuff. Eva told Hylda to send her to whatever auditions Jessica attends. She?s tired of being typecast as the love interest and wants to be a leading lady. But Eva?s problem is she?s just too sexy. She?s got a real mountain to climb to really get away from bombshell roles.?

This is the same problem that I had with Jessica Alba too, remember? The ?I?m too pretty to be taken seriously as an actress? problem. There are plenty of beautiful women who manage to ?make it? as serious actresses. Many serious actresses are sexy, attractive, accessible, and enchanting. The problem isn?t that Eva Mendes (or Alba, for that matter) is ?too pretty? or ?too sexy? to be taken seriously, it?s that when they?re given the opportunity to develop their questionable talents outside of the standard, one-dimensional ?pretty girl? roles, they fail miserably. Besides that, no one forced Eva to take those ?bombshell? roles or to take modeling contracts or to play up her sex-bomb image for years and years.
As for the idea that Ryan is pushing Eva to become more of a ?serious actress?? I believe that too. Ryan seems like that kind of guy. He can?t just date a hot girl and own his superficiality (?I?m dating her because she?s beautiful and amazing in bed?), he wants to think that his girlfriend is super-talented too, and that he?s genuinely disappointed in her because she doesn?t have a career like Jessica Chastain.

TMZ has had several stories about Lindsay Lohan?s work on the set of Anger Management. It got to the point where I pretty much figured that Lindsay was calling them directly and announcing all of her spectacular feats of professionalism, like showing up on time and knowing her lines. A ?source? told TMZ, ?Lindsay knew her lines cold and her timing was perfect. She was really funny.” Lindsay was also described as ?incredibly nice? and some idiot said her first day?s performance ?proved she has talent. You watch her and you know why she became a star.” Well, that was the first day of work. For the second day, El Cracko made an appearance and it wasn?t pretty:
After two days of tardiness, it appears that Lindsay Lohan is at least going to make it to Brazil on time. The 26-year-old actress was spotted at LAX tonight to catch her flight?and we wonder if her ears were burning.
A source from the Anger Management set exclusively tells E! News that, by the time Lohan was done shooting her guest spot on Charlie Sheen’s FX comedy, the cast (Sheen included) and crew were thinking that hiring her wasn’t worth the aggravation, despite her considerable acting talent.
“She was a colossal pain in the ass,” the source says. “It’s a shame, because when she actually gets on camera she is good and has comedic timing. But she comes with so much luggage it’s not worth it.”
“The first day was fine,” notes the insider. “She showed up early and did her job.”
But, the source adds, “from the moment she arrived yesterday she did nothing but hold up the production. She would sit in her trailer and stall and she delayed until she up and left for her boyfriend’s concert…She held everyone hostage.”
At one point, the source adds, they were “so pissed they almost called police to escort her” off the set.
The feeling, however, apparently wasn’t mutual: Lindsay tweeted yesterday, “I just had such a wonderful day on set of #angermanagement with @charliesheen & @LIGHTAARON @SaveTheSociety @jazejazz7 and the entire crew!”
An insider from Lohan’s camp, meanwhile, refutes the accusations, claiming to E! News that Sheen was happy with the actress’ work and that any insinuations that Lohan deliberately held up the production were wholly untrue.
E! News first reported that, that Lohan?who arrived early on Monday?was on time to the set Tuesday but then ran behind for almost all of her scenes.
After originally only being scheduled to shoot Monday and Tuesday, Lohan had to return to the set to finish up today. She worked “a couple hours” and left, a source says.
A rep for Sheen, whose scenes with Lohan included a snuggly bedroom encounter, had no comment.

Here?s the thing: while I totally enjoy hearing and reading stories of Lindsay?s crazy, unprofessional, crackheaded antics, at this point I have absolutely NO sympathy for anyone that hires her. I mean, cry me a river, dumbasses. What the hell did you think was going to happen when you hired someone who caused a cracktastrophe every single time she?s been able to beej her way into a job for the past SIX YEARS? Did you think, ?Well, Charlie Sheen is pretty crackie but he shows up on time, so maybe Lindsay will too?? NO. That never happens.

News reports, “According to sources, Lohan also left the set with ‘bracelets’ from the wardrobe department. The reason behind that is not yet known.” El Cracko strikes again! How ever will The Crack Burglar be caught?!

I think it was last week when CB emailed me in a rage about Gwyneth Paltrow?s Goop Store attached to Gwyneth?s Goop self-help site. I stopped paying attention to the Goop Store a few months ago because there is seriously a limit to how many Goop-induced rage-strokes I can have. I previously covered some of the early, ridiculous and overpriced items Goop was shilling: a $90 white t-shirt, $515 sweaters, a $270 acrylic (!!) tray, and $52 wrapping paper (for four rolls). Gwyneth has added a lot of new stuff to The Goop Collection ? go here to see. Three bottles of nail polish for $40, an ?amethyst peasant dress? for PEASANTS priced at $695, a throw blanket for $900. And now there?s something very new and special to the Goop collection! This week?s Goop-letter is devoted to her new cookbook, It?s All Good. Gwyneth writes:

But that?s not the only Goop-tastic goodness she?s giving the peasants. Gwyneth also got to sit down and interview the most interesting person she?s ever met in her life, Gwyenth herself. There?s a Q&A section of her Goop-letter, and there?s no specification as to WHO is asking the questions, so it?s just like Gwyneth is talking to herself and praising herself!
Q: The photos are stunning, and more than just recipes, they emanate this clean and healthy (yet intensely interested in beauty and taste) lifestyle. Has this book of recipes that both taste good and make you feel good affected the way you approach cooking and ingredients?
A: My philosophy is: eat good, fresh food that is totally delicious. It has to taste great and be fulfilling to all of the senses. We know so much now about how inextricably linked our food is to our overall health. The bottom line is, our bodies have a hard time with anything processed. That doesn’t only mean kool-aid and goldfish. White flour, white rice and soy milk are all heavily processed as well. I know from my own research that the more whole the diet, the better I feel. I wanted to do this book so I would have a mini encyclopedia of truly delicious recipes that were healthful and nourishing, and above all easy (I am an insanely busy working mother!).
Q: Wanting to spend more time with family rather than in the kitchen is sometimes stated as a reason people don’t cook as often as they like. Your kids are prominent in this book ? it’s clear that cooking for you is a family affair. How has it happened this way?
A: I?ve included my kids in the kitchen from almost the time they were born. They were always strapped to my back when I was cooking or nearby in a highchair watching and banging spoons. From very early on, I encouraged them to participate and let them do ‘dangerous’ tasks such as cracking an egg or stirring something carefully over heat, and they always felt proud. Later we started doing math with measuring cups and ounces. I was always looking for ways to show the kitchen as a place to acquire vast practical knowledge. My son, in particular, is extremely into it.
Q: Your kids are such good eaters and seem to like all the right foods ? in a world where kids menus and snacks are dominated by high sugars and fats, how can we steer our kids in the right direction?
A: I tried to start them off with all of the right foods but as they got older, the lure of Oreos and cotton candy outweighed the lure of carrots with hummus. And that?s all a part of childhood and I love Oreos too, so I completely understand. I try to make sure that what is on their plate at home is nutritious and tasty and then I loosen way up on the reigns when we are out. They love a brown rice stir-fry but they also love their ‘Coke of the week’. My daughter gravitates toward fresh fruit and raw nuts but will inhale a bag of hot Cheetos at the airport. It’s all about balance.
Q: Even the most avid of home cooks can get stuck in food ruts, making the same recipes over and over (guilty). The recipes in It’s All Good are fresh and exciting while still being very much you. How do you continue to innovate in this way while maintaining your culinary identity?
A: My food comes from me and so it is true to me. I just know what I want to eat. And if I want something, or my family wants something, and it’s on the restricted food or allergy list, I love to find my way around the obstacle. I’m all about finding my way around an obstacle.

First of all, I?m glad that Gwyneth is talking about how she occasionally deigns to allow her kids to eat junk food. It?s good to know Apple and Moses are at least vaguely familiar with soda and Cheetos, just because? (even though I?m not a mom) that?s part of childhood too. Second of all, Gwyneth measures things in ounces?!? How is she not using the metric system? HOW PEASANTY.
Incidentally, Star Magazine has a bitchy story about Chris Martin being really pissed off at Gwyneth for talking about her miscarriage. A source claims, ?Chris has always been a private person and her TMI behavior really bothers him? he?s uncomfortable that everybody knows so many private details about his family.? Ugh. You married her, dude.

Here are some photos of LeAnn Rimes performing at the Country To Country concert event in London a few weeks ago. I never got around to publishing these because they came in too late, but they work perfectly in this post. LeAnn?s new album, Spitfire, comes out next week in England, and it comes out in America the second week of April. I was imagining a larger onslaught of press and tour dates and special concerts surrounding her album drop, but there really hasn?t been that much. Maybe that?s because LeAnn was ?promoting? this album for the past six months and everybody?s already tired of it. Or maybe it?s because LeAnn doesn?t want to fly all over the place to do some huge press tour because she thinks that as soon as she leaves Eddie at home, he?ll pick up the phone and punch in 1-800-DIAL-A-HO?
LeAnn Rimes is putting her career on hold because she?s terrified her marriage is in jeopardy. The 30-year-old singer, who burst onto the country music scene with the No. 1 hit ?Blue? when she was just 13, has only three concerts scheduled for the busy summer touring season ? and friends say it?s because she?s afraid to leave her hubby, Eddie Cibrian, home alone.
?Summer is prime time for country singers to go out and play the festival and fair circuits, and LeAnn is giving up a fortune by not touring,? said a friend. ?She gets $75,000 a show, so she could easily make $2 million or more this summer. LeAnn is in demand as much as ever, but she turns down almost everything she?s offered. She says Eddie doesn?t like to go on the road with her, so she stays home.?
Pals point out that LeAnn has been a stressed-out mess since marrying TV actor Eddie, 39, in April 2011. The couple came under fire for hooking up while both were married to other people, and she was blasted in a bestselling tell-all by Eddie?s ex, ?Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? star Brandi Glanville.
Making matters worse, both Brandi and sexy waitress Scheana Marie Jancon say that they were involved with Eddie AFTER he started his affair with LeAnn. Considering those revelations, it?s no wonder LeAnn entered a treatment facility last August for anxiety and stress. And now she?s telling friends her mental health and her marriage are more important to her than singing.
?LeAnn is worried about hitting the road and leaving Eddie to his own devices,? said another source. ?Even after four years together, she?s not fully confident in their marriage. She knows how they started ? with an affair ? and she fears it could happen again.?

I?m here to tell LeAnn that her fears are completed founded and she has every reason to be concerned. Because she?s married to a dirty dog and if her instincts are telling her that he hasn?t changed, then her instincts are probably right on the money. But! I do question this report for one little reason: ?LeAnn is in demand as much as ever, but she turns down almost everything she?s offered.? O RLY? I mean, I?m sure LeAnn still gets some offers to take part in country music festivals and maybe the odd one-off private performance, but let?s not pretend that she?s Mariah Carey or something. It?s a double-edged sword for LeAnn ? she needs to make money so she can keep Eddie in the lap of luxury (lest he leave her for not providing for him) AND she needs to keep him on Ho Watch lest his dong wander away with the first cocktail waitress with bolt-ons he sees. It?s like Sophie?s Choice!!!!!! Only it’s about wandering dongs, hoes and kept men.
PS… Gossip Cop claims LeAnn & Eddie are pitching a reality show about their lives and trying to get pregnant and all of their drama. HAHAHA.

Good news. Today’s the first day of Kristen Bell getting back to being skinny. She finally popped out that kid living rent free in her stomach for the past 9 months. They named the little girl Lincoln Bell Shepard.
