We recently heard that Elizabeth Olsen and Robbie Arnett had become engaged. They?ve been dating for a few years and even though Olsen?s romantic life was messy/shady at one point, pre-Arnett, there doesn?t seem to be any drama with their relationship. They just seem solid and fine and I bet they?re really happy together, but again, what do I know.
Anyway, we?re now at the point where we can talk about something fun: Elizabeth?s engagement ring! Elizabeth was pap?d out and about this weekend and she was wearing a big rock on her ring finger. According to People, it appears to be a big emerald with a square cut, with a diamond surround. People Mag actually calls it a halo, but I dont think this surround qualifies as a halo. In 2014, Elizabeth Olsen was engaged to Boyd Holbrook, a wonderful character actor mostly known for playing dirtbags. They seemed happy and quiet, and they were together for about three years. Then suddenly in late 2014, the engagement was off and almost as suddenly, there were rumors about Olsen and Tom Hiddleston, whom she was working with on I Saw the Light. Later, in December 2015, we found out from Boyd Holbrook that Elizabeth broke off their engagement and dumped him over the phone in October 2014, on the same day his best friend died. Cold as ice!! A while after the Hiddleston thing fizzled away, she began dating Robbie Arnett in early 2017. It seemed notable at the time because she seemed to be full-on pap strolling with Arnett, whereas the thing with Hiddleston was very secretive (and honestly, I?m still not 100% sure they dated). Well, anyway? Elizabeth Olsen is engaged again. To Robbie Arnett.
Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Elizabeth Olsen! The Marvel actress, 30, is engaged to Milo Greene frontman Robbie Arnett after three years of dating, a source tells PEOPLE.
The couple made their first public appearance as a couple in September 2017 when they attended the Gersh pre-Emmys party together where they were photographed. The private pair were first romantically linked in March 2017 after they were spotted walking arm-in-arm in New York City. Arnett is the lead singer for Milo Greene, which formed in 2009.

Congrats to her and I?d love to see the ring! I bet it?s something simple and maybe even rather delicate she doesn?t seem like a ?big diamond? kind of person. Will her sisters design her wedding gown? Sack dresses for everybody! Anyway, I hope this engagement goes the distance and that Robbie doesn?t end up getting dumped with a phone call. Here?s hoping.

I get it I?m known for my bangs hatred and my button fascination. I?m also pretty obsessed with wiglets and who is and is not wearing said wiglets. Weirdly, I think my bangs hatred is the one thing that gets the most ?push back.? There are a lot of ladies out there who have bangs or will defend bangs to the bitter end. *shrug* I am not one of you. I cannot think of one single woman who looks BETTER with bangs. The most you can hope for with bangs is to draw even, no better and no worse, just a different look. But I swear to God, ladies just need to stop attempting certain kinds of bangs beyond the age of, like, 10 years old? This is an example.
These are photos of Elizabeth Olsen at this weekend?s Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards in LA. She kept it simple with her dress this is a cute A.L.C. little black dress, flattering and pretty. Unfortunately, Olsen decided to debut her new bangs. I?m honestly on the fence about them, I?m 50% ?it?s about the same? and 50% ?she looks worse.? It?s a different look, and it emphasizes her strange nose, which many of you claim is the product of a bad nose job when she was younger (I?ve never been sure of that). I just feel like the bangs just emphasize the weirdest parts of her face. Plus, the bangs themselves aren?t great she?s trying to do those ?70s style, half-shaggy, half-styled bangs and they?re too long and stringy.
Anyway, I just wish she had stayed un-banged. It was a much more sophisticated look.

Elizabeth Olsen covers the latest issue of Modern Luxury. It?s actually a lovely shoot! I used to think that Elizabeth?s face looked slightly ?off,? like she had some plastic surgery that didn?t quite suit her face, but nowadays? I appreciate that quality about her. She doesn?t look like a plucked, sucked and tucked p0rn star. She actually got a sort of young-Meryl quality about her. Anyway, Elizabeth is currently promoting Ingrid Goes West and Wind River, but you won?t catch her giving in-depth, confessional interviews. She learned from her sisters that it?s better to leave some mystery, even in interviews. Some highlights:
On cultivating an air of mystery: ?I was not caring what I was saying [in interviews] because I?d assumed no one would read it. [My sisters would] say, ?You know, even if you don?t think anyone?s going to read this article, someone might pull the quote later for [something else].? It?s all part of how you hope someone interprets you, and how they frame who you are and the work you do. They?re very tight-lipped ? notoriously so.?
Anxiety: ?I still deal with so many anxieties of how I come across. I?ll go home at night, spinning with a guilt complex of, ?Did I say something stupid to that person who I respect? Do they think I?m a freak?? I don?t want to think like that anymore.?
She?s 28 and looking forward to her 30s: ?Your 30s sound like the best decade for a woman. What?s so beautiful about being older and wiser is you are sitting heavier in your shoes with your feet on the ground. I can?t wait!?
She purchased her first house & she?s been renovating it. ?[It] has been so much fun and stimulating creatively? I was also thinking, ?There?s this small room upstairs, which would be good for a kid.? I don?t know where things will lead, but I do think about it in that way: ?I think I could raise kids here.’?

I feel like this is the new thing for actresses in their 20s, to talk hopefully about how their 30s are going to be so amazing. That, to me, is strange. American culture worships youth: teenaged and 20-something women are the most everything in our society, the most desirable, the most culturally elevated, the most catered-to demographic. That being said, I feel like a lot of women, famous or not, in their 20s feel like it?s a garbage decade – they?re in debt, they?re in sh-tty relationships, they?re still figuring out their lives, their work, etc. Here?s the thing, though – IT DOES NOT GET BETTER LADIES. I?m in my 30s. And while I?m more content and I have fewer f–ks to give with each year that passes, let?s be clear: your 30s are probably going to suck too. Sorry.

Elizabeth actually has eclectic taste in fashion, and she makes some interesting choices. Olsen hasn?t been to Cannes in six years – it was in 2011 that she ?arrived? in the middle of Cannes with her breakout performance in Martha Marcy May Marlene, which was the first time she got big critical acclaim. Olsen knows how to work Cannes, is what I?m saying, and she knows how important it can be to her career. So she came to the premiere of her latest, Wind River, in this jaw-dropping Miu Miu look. This is the ?sexiest? and most vampy she?s ever looked, right? She really brought it. And minus the shoulder pads, this dress is the bomb.

My vote for worst dressed of Cannes might be Elisabeth Moss. She wore this Oscar de la Renta ensemble to the premiere of The Square. WHY? Just no. She?s such a talented actress and you know that she enjoys fashion and styling. Why did they do this to her?
Did someone ask for an explosion at the Ruffle Factory? This is Araya A. Hargate in Zuhair Murad. I love the color and I don?t mind the giant puffy dress. This is why people come to Cannes: to wear giant puffball dresses that make them look like they?re being eaten alive by Ruffle Bacteria.
Liya Kebede in Paco Rabanne. I enjoy a metallic dress and I don?t mind if it?s gold. I also like Liya Kedebe. But? this is not very good, right? This is more of a cute party ensemble rather than a dress for the red carpet of Cannes. Plus, I don?t think gold is her color. A silver or maybe even a bronze would have looked better.

I?m not sure anyone will care about these photos as much as me, but here we go. Elizabeth Olsen was photographed with a ?mystery man? yesterday in New York. Seriously, outlets were calling this guy Mystery Man. No one knew who he was. Even the Daily Mail – an outlet which is pretty good at problem-solving when it comes to romantic mysteries – couldn?t figure out this guy?s identity. It took hours before he was ID?d as Robbie Arnett, a member of the ?cinematic indie pop band? Milo Greene. So? everybody?s sure that Robbie Arnett is Elizabeth Olsen?s boyfriend. Because of the body language, and because of her smile and her awareness of the cameras. This seems like an old-fashioned pap-stroll to announce one?s new boyfriend.
So, why is this notable? To me, it?s interesting because Olsen is so obviously pap-strolling with a boyfriend after making such a big deal about how ?private? she was/is. Remember that? Remember when she and Tom Hiddleston kept playing games about whether they were dating? That was pre-Tiddlebanging. Olsen dumped her boyfriend right around the time she started working with Tom. Then Olsen somehow ended up in Hawaii with Tom while he filmed Kong: Skull Island. Then she and Tom were photographed at dinner in London, and they were seen out together by Twitter-stalkers too. While promoting their film, Tom and Elizabeth played endless are-they-together games and Olsen always said that she likes to keep her private life private.
So, a brand new outlook on being public with a boyfriend? Who knows? Robbie?s cute, btw. He reminds me of a less craggy Ron Livingston.

It?s become somewhat of a yearly tradition following the Golden Globes and Oscars for all of us here at Celebitchy to be too tired to cover all of the after-parties. While it?s exciting to see who attends these parties and what they?re wearing, it?s not AS exciting as the actual event red carpet, so we postpone the afterparty coverage for a day. Which is where we are now. Here?s Elizabeth Olsen at the NBC Universial post-Globes party. She wore Alberta Ferretti and it?s absolutely hideous. Sometimes I don?t see the ?Olsen? in her at all, but in these photos, she looks so much like her sisters. I was also going to theorize that maybe she met up with Tom Hiddleston, but I doubt it. I think they went to separate parties.
Janelle Monae in Georges Chakra. We have yet another case of crazypants. Again, Janelle is lovely but I just need her to change it up or something.
Jenna Dewan Tatum in Julien Macdonald. I like this a lot. It?s a perfect ?afterparty? look.
Vanessa Hudgens in Naeem Khan. For Vanessa, this is a big improvement over the stuff she usually wears. But it?s still not great.
Julianne Hough in vintage Jenny Packham. Too much dress for an afterparty, right? And she looks like Ashlee Simpson.
I had a total WTF-moment because I completely forgot that Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed were married, so I was like, ?When did they get together??? They?ve been together for years. I?m an idiot. She?s wearing Naeem Khan and the whole thing is kind of basic.

We know our kittens well enough to predict that a lot of you are going to have an issue with the mismatched seams here, but we?re afraid we?re too much in love with the print and color and sense of drama here to concern ourselves with it. It?s just so damn refreshing to see a perfect springtime gown in spring. It?s a rarity among the celebrity set.

And in her interview, Elizabeth confesses that despite her current fashion IQ, she used to be a total tomboy- ?Now I like being a woman and I like wearing dresses, but my comfort zone isn?t frilly and [girly]. Diane Keaton is sexy as hell, and I haven?t seen her neck in years. I think feeling empowered as a woman is so different for each person. It?s a personal preference.?
