Miley Cyrus gave a new interview to the Toronto Sun, and it’s mostly about her hair. I know, her hair! But we’ve all kind of stopped talking about Miley’s drastic haircut from last year since she’s been doing so many other attention-grabbing things like going grocery shopping in barely there outfits, twerking in a fuzzy diaper, and wearing a tacky grill. So I guess Miley wanted us to focus on the bigger picture again.
Miley talks about other stuff here too like her “We Can’t Stop Video,” which was of course both outrageous and cringeworthy. But in Miley’s mind, it all comes back full circle to her hair, and she’s very proud of being named #1 on the Maxim hot 100 with her ultra-short hair. This haircut was “life-changing,” y’all. You know, I heard that term twice at the salon a few weeks ago while I was saying goodbye to my highlights (I had to pay for the last time to cover them up because I didn’t want to end up with green hair) forever! We women take our own hair very seriously, and Miley is no exception:

They?ve both proved elite in the music world having two of the biggest selling albums this year and now Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis lead the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards nominations list.
The ?Thrift Shop? singers and ?Mirror? crooner each scored six nods, while Bruno Mars follows closely behind grabbing four VMA nominations. In addition, P!nk, Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus and Thirty Seconds To Mars each scored three.
Other musicians in the mix include Taylor Swift with a nomination for Best Female Video and Fun. for its ?Carry On? video.

Here?s Jennifer Aniston?s latest advertisement for SmartWater. Whoops, I mean here are some candid photos of Jennifer on the set of her new film, Squirrels To the Nuts. With bonus SmartWater product placement. Considering how heavily-endorsed Jennifer is these days, I?m kind of surprised she?s not wandering around the set, flashing a bottle of Living Proof shampoo. And a bottle of Jennifer Aniston: A Perfume By Jennifer Aniston. And a bottle of Aveeno.
Anyway, Squirrels to the Nuts is Jennifer?s latest film endeavor. I keep meaning to remind everyone: We?re the Millers comes out in early August. Prepare yourselves for an Aniston onslaught. But for now, enjoy these photos. This film is one of the ?reasons? why Jennifer and Justin Theroux aren?t married yet. Jennifer is just so, so busy! And Justin doesn?t want to get married, obviously, but also ? she?s busy!
I for one am glad Jennifer made the terrible sacrifice to film this movie in NYC since she?s so opposed to spending any time in New York if Justin asks her to. I bet Jennifer made this terrible sacrifice because she really wanted to work with the director, Peter Bogdanovich. It?s his first directorial outing in 10 years, and it?s taking three whole years to get all of the financing and casting issues done. The film stars Jennifer, Owen Wilson, Jason Schwatzman, Eugene Levy and Cybill Shepherd. I think Owen Wilson plays a ?married Broadway director? who falls for a ?hooker-turned actress? played by?? Dunno. All I know is that Jennifer isn?t playing the hooker.
PS? It was over 100 degrees yesterday in NYC. How is Jennifer so cold that she has “fripples”? Must be the SmartWater!!

BBC will air Taylor & Burton, starring HELENA BONHAM CARTER and Dominic West, next week. So this week is full of promotional stuff for the movie, which is exciting. I hope it airs in America sometime soon, maybe on PBS or something? I?m including some promotional images of HBC and West ? Dominic doesn?t really look like Burton to me, but I think he?ll probably do Richard Burton justice as an actor, and with his voice. But maybe that?s just me being a Dom West fan-girl. As for Helena? look at her! She doesn?t really look like Elizabeth, but Helena looks STUNNING. So pretty! And Helena will be able to bring out Dame Elizabeth too. Here?s the trailer:
It looks good. The story focuses specifically on the time frame of Liz & Dick just before Richard?s death, and after their second divorce. They agreed to do a play together ? Private Lives. According to the historical record, Elizabeth was a mess of booze and pills. Richard was trying to maintain his sobriety, and he was remarried. Does HBC think Liz & Dick would have gotten back together if he had lived? ?I feel yes, there would have been a third time around. She often said that and I think it would have been interesting once both of them were sober, then maybe there?d have been a future.?
HBC almost didn?t take the role: “I nearly didn’t take the role. When I first found out about it, I thought, ‘Elizabeth Taylor? I should run a mile.’ Even my mum said, ‘Don’t touch that with a barge pole.’ But it was the script that won me over – it was such a touching, sweet story. The fact that it was about two of the world’s most famous stars was incidental.”
HBC is a huge fan of Elizabeth: “I don’t look like her at all. But I had to forget about what she looked like and think about the woman. She was phenomenal. What was inside was extraordinary – which is impressive considering how beautiful she was on the outside. She was fun, witty, practical, clever and wise. She had an amazing strength of character and was never a victim. To sustain that amount of fame and beauty from such a young age – look at stars like Marilyn Monroe and Judy Garland and what happened to them. Liz Taylor lasted eight decades. She survived all those drugs, all that fame and drink. She loved life and had a great appetite for it. There will be no one like her ever again.”
HBC on her costar, Dominic West: ?I think we have great chemistry. I try to lure him back into my bed but he won?t have me. Dominic’s very funny. I didn’t want it to end.?
HBC consulted an astrologer to find out more about Elizabeth: ?She was really insightful. She told me Elizabeth was a water person. Water is sexual and sensual and that?s the place she operated from. She had a big appetite for life. She was a good eater. Unlike actresses these days, she liked her food.?

I didn?t even realize it (how is that?!), but LeAnn Rimes appeared on Monday?s episode of The Talk. I watch The Talk sometimes when I?m at the gym. I can?t say it?s a good show or even a so-bad-it?s-fun show. It?s just boring and monotonous and Julie Chen plucks my last nerve. So what a perfect show for LeAnn to appear on as she tries to half-heartedly promote Spitfire, which was absolutely a FLOP. First, LeAnn spoke to the ladies about the pregnancy rumors (spoiler: she?s not pregnant) and she also ?confirmed? the Radar story from two weekends ago about Brandi drunkenly causing a scene at Nobu:
Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes are not on the best of terms and the country singer confirmed the tension in their relationship on The Talk saying that their most recent encounter was ?awkward.? As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, LeAnn and her hubby Eddie Cibrian ran into his ex-wife and children at a tony Malibu restaurant Nobu and the confrontation was made for TV style drama.
After managing to avoid each other for most of the night, the new Mr. and Mrs. Cibrian stopped by The Real Housewives of Beverly Hill star?s table on their way out of the restaurant to apparently say goodbye to the kids, who had been criss-crossing from table to table during dinner.
But instead of pleasantries being exchanged, Eddie and LeAnn were ?confronted by Brandi who raised her voice and glass of wine at them,? one eyewitness told Radar.
?It was so obnoxious that other people at the restaurant turned their heads to see what all the commotion was about.?
LeAnn played a game called ?Rimes on the Record? with the ladies of The Talk where she addressed a series of reports and whether or not they were true or false.
As for the run-in with Brandi LeAnn was succinct.
?Awkward,? she said when asked about the incident. She confirmed our story, saying ?No wine was thrown. I?ll leave it at that.?
According to our eyewitness at the restaurant Brandi yelled at the couple as they left, saying: ?Is that a hi or a bye??
The Spitfire singer also address a slew of other reports on The Talk, saying that she is NOT pregnant, despite looking healthier and like she?s put on a few pounds.
?I am not pregnant. I?ve been pregnant in tabloids like five or six times now. I should have had several children. I eat a hamburger and then all of the sudden I?m pregnant!
Is she doing a reality show?
?We have been in talks about a show?a unique show, it wouldn?t be like a strict reality show with cameras following us around?people think they know all about our lives. We have been dabbling in that idea of something that would be unique.?

Does anyone else suspect LeAnn (or Team LeAnn people) of being the source for Radar?s reporting of the original incident at Nobu? As I said at the time, I have no doubt that Brandi said something rude or made a minor scene, I just question the whole idea that the whole restaurant was ZOMG scandalized by Brandi snarking on LeAnn. As for the continuing stories about LeAnn?s faux-reality show? I?m starting to wonder if she and Eddie have gotten any interest whatsoever from any cable channel. I?ll buy that LeAnn and Eddie have taken meetings and that they?re actively shilling this BS, but I don?t think anyone is interested.

Well, this story comes as quite a surprise. The world doesn’t know too much about Emma Roberts except that she’s a bit of a Hollywood party girl who constantly gets papped exiting nail salons and blowout bars in between regular shopping jaunts. She’s also a semi-successful actress in that she gets regular work in moderate-to-small budget films, but Emma is a pretty one-note emoter.
Of course, Emma’s also the niece of Julia (and daughter of Eric Roberts), and she has a real chip on her shoulder when it comes to the topic of nepotism, which is “obviously not true.” Emma also tends to date rather nondescript dudes who are in the business but aren’t any more famous than she is. Like, she went out with Chord Overstreet for awhile and then dumped him and generally treated him like crap. Now things have gotten far less bland in Emma Roberts land — girlfriend has been arrested for domestic violence in Canada after she allegedly beat up her current boyfriend, actor Evan Peters (who she has been dating since last October). Supposedly, these two were going at it in a hotel room and were both hitting each other, but Evan was the one with a bloody hose and a bite mark, so Emma was the one who was arrested. This is such a crazy, disturbing story:
Emma Roberts was arrested for a domestic violence incident in Canada — after allegedly bloodying her boyfriend, Evan Peters … TMZ has learned.
22-year-old Emma — Eric Roberts’ daughter and Julia Roberts’ niece — was taken into custody early July 7 in Montreal after getting in an altercation with Peters … who stars in “American Horror Story.”
According to Montreal law enforcement sources … someone called police to report a fight in Evan and Emma’s hotel room.
We’re told when cops arrived … they observed Evan with a bloody nose. Emma was immediately arrested. One law enforcement source tells us Evan also had a bite mark.
Emma was released hours later because 26-year-old Evan did not want to press charges.
Sources close to Emma tell TMZ … Emma and Evan were hitting each other and she was arrested because he had obvious physical injuries. The sources deny Emma bit Evan.
Our sources also say the couple — last seen in public at the The Lone Ranger premiere (above) — is back together and both are working on “American Horror Story.”

Sad. Basically, nothing will come of this particular incident from a legal standpoint because the dude didn’t want to press charges, but it’s safe to say that Emma and Evan are in the midst of a rather violent relationship. And since they’re probably trapped in a cycle of physical arguments, this will happen again until one of them decides to press charges against the other. Nothing good can possibly come of this relationship, but at least the story might spread the message that women are not the only victims of domestic violence. Men can just as easily be physically abused by women, and it sounds like these two need some serious intervention.
Oh, and Emma and Peter are keeping a united front and have already released a joint statement to Us Weekly: “It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding. Ms. Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it.” Do with that what you will.

Emma Roberts, currently in Montreal shooting season 3 ofAmerican Horror Story, was arrested on July 7 after getting into a fight with her co-star/boyfriend Evan Peters.
Citing law enforcement sources, TMZ says someone called the cops when they heard some ruckus coming from Evan and Emma’s hotel room. Apparently it was from Emma beating Evan like he was Rihanna in the passenger seat.
Cops came and discovered Evan had a bloody nose and a bite mark. Emma was immediately arrested and taken into custody. She was released hours later because Evan didn’t want to press charges. Probably because she only gets like this when she drinks. She’s a good person. It was his fault, really.
Sources say they were both hitting each other and Emma was arrested because Evan was the only one with obvious physical injuries.
I think it’d be funny if, when the cops came, Evan started shouting, “How can she slap?! How can she slap?!”

Lining up her next big project, Reese Witherspoon has signed on to star in Oscar-nominated writer Nick Hornby's "Wild."
Based on the New York Times #1 best-seller by Cheryl Strayed, the film follows a woman who has lost all hope, and makes the decision to hike more than a thousand miles of the Pacific Crest Trail alone.
Speaking on the role, the "Water for Elephants" actress said, "We are so excited to be working with Fox Searchlight to bring 'Wild' to the screen.
