Kim Kardashian is from LA. Her father, Robert Kardashian, was born in LA. But Robert Kardashian Sr. was a second-generation American his grandparents were Armenian. That was very important to Kim?s father, and it?s become more important to Kim as she gets older. She?s been exploring more and more of her Armenian roots, making trips to Armenia and looking up second-cousins and third-cousins and all of that. So when it came time to baptize her children, she didn?t want them baptized in Kanye West?s hokey fake-ass church. She wanted them baptized in Armenia:
Happy baptism to Kim Kardashian West?s kids! Kim and Kanye West?s three youngest children ? Psalm, 4 months, Chicago, 20 months, and Saint, 3 ? were baptized Monday morning at the Etchmiadzin Cathedral in Vagharshapat, Armenia, as their aunt Kourtney Kardashian and her kids (Reign Aston, 4, Penelope Scotland, 7, and Mason Dash, 9) joined them for the ceremony, a source confirms to PEOPLE.
Video footage on one Instagram account showed Kim, 38, walking to the ceremony with all three of her younger kids plus her oldest, 6-year-old daughter North, followed by sister Kourtney, 40, and her three children. In a clip on her Instagram Story, the KKW Beauty founder held Psalm as they walked toward the cathedral.
The source tells PEOPLE that Kim and Kourtney are staying with their kids in the nearby capital city of Yerevan, pointing out that the ?Etchmiadzin Cathedral is the mother church of the Armenian Apostolic Church.? (West, 42, is not along for the trip.)

That upsets me a little that Kanye didn?t bother to come. Those are HIS kids and they?re being baptized! That?s a big deal. Kanye could have spared a few days to go. I get that it was probably something Kim wanted to do and maybe it?s not a big deal to her. After all, I get the feeling that she?s just used to making all of those kinds of decisions by herself. Anyway? Armenian baptisms! I was wondering why North wasn?t being baptized on this trip too, but then I remembered the trip Kim, Kanye, Khloe and North made to Armenia in 2015. I think North was baptized during that visit.

We often hear about actors visiting a person theyre about to portray on screen to seek their blessing. Alas, if the person has passed on, the actor can?t do this? unless, of course, that actor is Helena Bonham Carter. HBC will portray the late Princess Margaret in the newest season of The Crown. But she wasnt about to let something as trivial as death keep her from contacting her subject, so she consulted a physic to see if Princess Margaret approved. According to HBC, not only did Princess Margaret sign off on her, she gave HBC notes!
Some actors avoid excessive research, but for HELENA BONHAM CARTER to play Princess Margaret in The Crown meant reading all the biographies, talking to friends, ladies-in-waiting and relatives, and consulting an astrologer, a graphologist and a psychic.
The last meeting meant she could talk to the princess herself, the actor told Cheltenham literature festival.
?She said, apparently, she was glad it was me. My main thing when you play someone who is real, you kind of want their blessing because you have a responsibility.
?So I asked her: ?Are you OK with me playing you?? and she said: ?You?re better than the other actress? ? that they were thinking of. They will not admit who it was. It was me and somebody else.
?That made me think maybe she is here, because that is a classic Margaret thing to say. She was really good at complimenting you and putting you down at the same time.
?Then she said: ?But you?re going to have to brush up and be more groomed and neater.? Then she said: ?Get the smoking right. I smoked in a very particular way. Remember that ? this is a big note ? the cigarette holder was as much a weapon for expression as it was for smoking.??

Of course she did. Of course HBC consulted a psychic for approval. And of course Princess Margaret said fine, but clean up your act. This is one of the most Helena Bonham Carterest stories I?ve read. I?m willing to accept it, though. After all, Princess Margaret and HBCs paths did cross in the corporeal world a few times. Princess Margaret was friendly with HBC?s uncle, Mark Bonham Carter and they would, on occasion, end up at the same soiree. At one get-together, Princess Margaret presciently asked HBC, ?Oh Helena ? You are getting better at acting, aren?t you?? I guess that explains why she was compelled to give HBC notes during their sance.
In addition to conjuring the princess, HBC met with some ?very close relative and some really close friends,? as well as three of Princess Margaret?s ladies-in-waiting. HBC said of their meetings, ?they loved the woman and were very happy to talk about her because they miss her.? Maybe it?s because I?m still under the influence of cold medicine, but that comment made me emotional. Like HBC gave them all a small moment to spend with Princess Margaret once again while reminiscing about her. No wonder why Princess Margaret said okay to HBC, she knew her friends would be cool with it.

One of my favorite things this week is that Disney sent Angelina Jolie and Michelle Pfeiffer to Europe to promote Maleficent: Mistress of Evil by themselves. No Sam Riley, no Chiwetel Ejiofor, no Elle Fanning. Just mature vampire goddesses looking magnificent together. Yesterday, we saw the amazing pics from the Rome photocall, where Angelina wore COLOR (Givenchy) and she and Michelle looked like they were maybe thinking of making out. Hours later, they did the Rome premiere and it was also amazing? even though Angelina went back to black.
Angelina?s dress is Versace, big surprise! I actually love this dress? yes, we?ve seen her in a million glittery black dresses, but this is slinky and sexy and it looks great on her. I actually thought her hair looked way better at the photocall though. Michelle wore Monique Lhuillier a long-sleeved velvet-looking gown which looked great on her, and looked great beside Angelina?s Versace. Did they coordinate their looks on their girls? trip to Europe?
Someone said yesterday that Angelina?s kids (minus Maddox) made the trip to Rome too, so it?s not *just* a vampire-girls trip. Shiloh and Zahara walked the Rome red carpet with their mom for a bit too I love how Zahara is getting all dressed up for these premieres! Shiloh did not really dress up though? that looks like an ?80s style windbreaker. *gasps in Versace*
