Looking to pick up some primo vino, Diane Kruger paid a visit to a winery in West Hollywood on Monday afternoon (August 5).
The ?National Treasure? star brought a male friend along for the errand, looking cute and casual in a black and white striped top with jeans and black heels.
Diane has been hard at work on her show ?The Bridge,? and it sounds like the gig has caused some friendly envy within her boyfriend Joshua Jackson.
?He was actually very jealous. He was on a network sitcom, so his days were crazy long. A regular day would be 14 or 15 hours of shooting. Now, I?ve been home for dinner pretty much every night since we started the show, so he?s just a tad envious.?

Sporting a sleeveless black maternity top and belted distressed jeans, the ?Dark Tide? dame carried a few bags and chatted with her adorable little girl, who looked cute in a colorful dress.
Last month, Halle and her beau Olivier Martinez tied the knot at a secret ceremony in France, and she?s due to give birth to their first child together later this year.
Of the nuptials, an eyewitness previously told press, ?White marquees were put up around the grounds and everyone was very discreet because it was a showbusiness wedding, but generally it was pretty down-to-earth. There were around 60 guests in all, and the majority were on Olivier?s side of the family.?

Taylor Swift has a very Taylor Swifty new interview with Rolling Stone. She did the interview on the road during her Red tour, which is grossing crazy money at this point. You can read the full RS piece here ? there are some interesting details about random stuff, like Taylor knows a lot about hydraulic stage-lift systems and she?s pretty much touring only on weekends (which I didn?t know). I found Taylor?s pop culture references more interesting, which I?ll get to at the end. I?ll just say that I think Tay-Tay has finally been reading some Kerouac.
RS: Onstage, you discussed writing a lot of songs in your bedroom at 2 a.m. What’s it like to go from that to playing it for a huge stadium?
TS: I think the most miraculous process is watching a song go from a tiny idea that you have in the middle of the night to a song that a group of 55,000 people is singing back to you so loudly that you can hear it louder than your own voice coming out of the speakers, in a concert in a stadium. And I think that for me, that’s the final part of the process. You know, I’m still so in love with songwriting because it’s never the same. You never get the same fragment of information as an idea. It’s never just a chorus or a first line ? it’s always something different. And to piece it together in the crossword puzzle that ends up being your song and have it end up here is so rewarding, you know.
You also talked about the “fiery, difficult, complicated emotions” that drive those songs. You seem very comfortable talking about those emotions at length onstage.
I am getting to a point where the only love worth being in is the love worth singing about. And kind of mad love. I think that for me, when you experience something that’s worth writing a song about, chances are it’s the same kind of intense feeling that someone else has felt, and it has led them to be sitting on a bedroom floor crying, or walking through a crowded room feeling alone or feeling misunderstood by the person who’s supposed to know them better than anybody else. Those are things that make you feel really alone, and if someone’s singing a song about that feeling, then you feel bonded to that person, and I guess that’s the only way I can find an explanation why 55,000 people would want to come see me sing.
The show gets pretty dark. During “Red,” there’s a moment where what looks like blood is spilling across the video screens. Is that somebody’s blood?
Actually, no. I’ve never been into shock value and gory and scaring people. It’s actually paint, so it’s actually just supposed to be the general concept of something red and something flowing ? just red things. Like, there’s red fabric, red paint being thrown against a wall. It’s not blood. “God, we went to Taylor’s show ? it was really violent!”
How do you feel you have grown as a performer, especially in stadiums?
I feel like you have to push yourself in order to become a better performer, and I never want a fan to leave the show saying, “That was just like the last tour.” I like touring extensively because I think the more hours you spend onstage, the more you know who you are onstage. The more you throw yourself out of your comfort zone in the studio, the more colors you have to paint with when you go into the design stages of your tour. At the end of the day, the sound of a screaming crowd is my favorite sound, and the sight of a sold-out stadium is my favorite view. Everything derives from that and revolves around making those people dance, sing along, feel like they aren’t alone, and ultimately want to come back and see me next time.
You posted some images from your Fourth of July party you had this summer. What are your other favorite offstage moments of the summer so far?
I think the Fourth of July was way up there, just because anytime there’s face-painting and frolicking involved, I’m really excited about all of those things. I’ve loved really being with my girlfriends a lot. Like, there have been a lot of kitchen dance parties with my girlfriends. The wonderful thing about playing a lot of stadiums is it’s the equivalent to playing three or four arenas, so you have a few more days off. So I’ve really enjoyed getting to have a summer and also have a really high-intensity job waiting for me.
So you’ve been hanging out in Rhode Island a lot?
I’ve been in Rhode Island a lot. I’ve been in L.A. a little bit. Man, Rhode Island’s a good place. It’s a really good place.
Are you reading or listening to anything at the moment that you’re excited about?
I’m going back and revisiting Carly Simon a lot. I’m listening to a lot of Carly Simon. And I have a copy of [F. Scott Fitzgerald's] Tender Is the Night that I’m about to start reading, because I read it a long time ago and I want to reread it. I’ve been reading a lot of different things, but I really like [Gillian Flynn's] Gone Girl and [Jess Walters'] Beautiful Ruins. They’re great stories. They kind of take you away.

I have Beautiful Ruins sitting beside my bed, but I haven?t started it yet. But anyone who describes Gone Girl as a ?great story? which ?takes you away? might not have really read it. Gone Girl is a good book, for sure, but it messes with your mind. Unless Taylor is acknowledging that she might be cut from the same cloth as Amazing Amy? That’s not such a stretch. And of course she?s reading F. Scott Fitzgerald ? that reference is so obvious! But her talk about ?mad love? seems like a reference to some Beat Generation literature.
?I am getting to a point where the only love worth being in is the love worth singing about? = she?s going to keep on singing songs about all of her boyfriends. Forever and ever. That?s her shtick and she?s shticking to it.

Having left rehab, Lindsay Lohan is now traveling with a sober coach for the next week to make sure she doesn’t give in to the sweet temptation that is alcohol.
In addition, she’s been asking hotel rooms and dressing rooms to remove any traces of alcohol. She even wants her mom to remove all the alcohol from her home. Something that probably won’t happen considering alcohol is Dina’s life force. It’d be like asking a human to stop breathing or Jessica Simpson to stop shoveling pies in her mouth.
Below is a preview of Lindsay’s interview with Oprah where she’s grilled on how much of a screw-up she is. You could probably cut and paste all the clips from her past interviews she’s done after jail/rehab and it’d be exactly the same.

After teaming up with lensman Scott Trindle, the "Spring Breakers" cutie dished about looking up to "Oh La La" hitmaker Britney Spears and reveals what she was like growing up.

On her former personality traits:
"I was actually really shy as a child. My first audition did not go well. I was very awkward. It was in front of a bunch of suits at Disney and I definitely felt I blew it. It took me a long time to let go."
On her favorite moments in acting and singing:
"I love doing shoots overseas. Actually being there and feeling the environment adds a realness to the shoot. It's so easy to wear incredible, beautiful dresses and look super glamorous, because you have the power of Photoshop, but a shoot that's really stripped-down and raw is really fun to do. I was being rained on, it was freezing, I was covered in a giant sweater and my hair was all over the place. I got to just be in that moment and feel like I was there."
On seeing Britney live:
"The Baby One More Time... concert was amazing. I sat all the way up in the nosebleeds and I could barely see her,but I remember it being the best day of my life. I had my hair in a ponytail and I knew all the words to the songs. I'll always remember it."

Here are some new pap photos of Lindsay Lohan out and about in NYC yesterday. I haven?t seen anyone so happy to see the paparazzi in a long, long time. She looks like she?s about to throw herself a giant party right there on the street. Chica loves attention. Anyway, it?s no surprise at all that Lindsay is back in NYC, and all I can really do is warn all of the New York Celebitches that the Cracken walks amongst you and to watch your back (and your front). But what about the Cracken?s grand scheme to celebrate her ?successful? rehab completion with an escort?s tour of Europe? Oprah talked her out of it, apparently.
Lindsay Lohan will NOT be going to Europe for a 3-week vacation like she planned … because Oprah convinced Lindsay she’d relapse if she went, TMZ has learned.
TMZ broke the story … Lindsay booked a one-way ticket to Europe while she was still in treatment, planning to reward her successful rehab stint with a lengthy vacation in the Old World.
Lindsay’s flight was scheduled to take off tonight in New York — with no return date set — but sources close to Lindsay tell us, the actress just pulled the plug on the trip.
We’re told Oprah — who struck a deal with Lindsay to do a post-rehab docuseries later this month — told Lindsay she should avoid the vacation so soon after rehab because the temptation to relapse would be too great.
We’re told Oprah called Lindsay multiple times over the past 24 hours to convince her to stay put … and Lindsay bought it, believing she needs to focus on her sobriety right now — not jetsetting around the world. Impressive.

Oprah has been giving interviews to promote The Butler, and it?s becoming clear that Oprah has been sipping from the Lohan Cup of Crack Delusions. Pretty soon Oprah is going to be crying about Lindsay just being a linnocent cracked-out child. Oprah told MTV:
“I just interviewed her [Saturday], and I was deeply moved by her desire to move forward in her life at this time,” Winfrey said, before adding, “And I asked her, ‘What’s different about all the other times, ’cause it’s been six times [in rehab] now, so what’s different about this time?’ ”
“I really do believe that she’s ready,” Winfrey continued. “This is what I want to say [to] everybody who wants to judge: Everybody has been in places in their life ? how many times have I said, ‘Come Monday, I’m gonna go on a diet! This is really it! ? and everybody knows that to do anything, you’ve gotta make a decision and really be fully ready. And that there are times when you think you’re ready, but you’re not there.”
“I’m rooting for her … because I think you keep getting chances,” Winfrey said, her voice falling to a near-whisper, “until you take your last breath.”

I understand what Oprah is saying, don?t get me wrong ? she?s making a larger statement about her faith and doing her Lord?s good work, and how we all have to keep working to improve ourselves every day. Scarlett Johansson covers the September issue of Harper?s Bazaar Australia, and I think she covers the American edition too, although Bazaar hasn?t released that cover yet. ScarJo did a photo shoot with Karl Lagerfeld, styled by Carine Roitfeld, and these are the two pics we have ? the Australian cover and the editorial photo.
Carine Roitfeld did something extremely boring ? she made a short list of all of the women she thinks are ?living icons? and she made a slideshow of them. You can see it here. ScarJo is the top lady ? she?s described as a ?modern Marilyn? because of course she is ? but Carine also included Lily Collins (the hell?), Dakota Fanning, Gabourney Sidibe and Zoe Kravitz. Blah. I get so tired of people comparing ScarJo to Marilyn. She helps it along too ? she always says ?yes? to being styled like Marilyn Monroe. It?s boring.
Also ? ScarJo is still active in New York City politics, as always. Scarlett has thrown her support behind Scott Stringer for NYC Comptroller. Lena Duham is supporting Stringer too. You know who else is running for Comptroller? Eliot Spitzer.

I used to be a huge Law & Order: SVU fan-girl. Like, I was obsessed with it. I?ve probably seen all of the SVU episodes up until? I don?t know, Season 7 or 8? I stopped watching it when they were doing too much stunt-casting and the shenanigans with the revolving ADAs was terrible (ugh, Sharon Stone). Then Christopher Meloni left and I was glad I was no longer watching. Still, I have an abiding love and admiration for Mariska Hargitay/Detective Olivia Benson. What I love in particular about Mariska is that she completely owns the role of Det. Benson and she?s used that role and her position to speak for real-life victims of sexual violence and rape. She founded a charity to support victims of sexual violence called The Joyful Heart Foundation. And now she?s using her fame to bring attention to an urgent and important criminal issue: the backlog of untested rape kits.
?Law & Order: Special Victims Unit? star Mariska Hargitay is helping victims of rape off-screen, too. Hargitay was spotted at restaurant Sienna in East Hampton saying she?s campaigning for law-enforcement agencies to deal with a national backlog of untested ?rape kits.?
?There are hundreds of thousands of untested rape kits in police and crime- lab storage facilities,? she wrote in a recent column online. ?Every year, thousands of individuals take the courageous step of reporting their rape to the police . . . The evidence is then collected in a ?Sexual Assault Evidence Collection Kit? ? a rape kit . . . And yet, hundreds of thousands of times, a decision is made not to process the evidence. Too difficult to prosecute, too murky, too expensive ? not a priority.?
A source said Hargitay will shoot a documentary on this subject in two months. She has a producer for the project and is meeting with directors. The actress was overheard further explaining, ?When you don?t test a rape kit, it sends the message that?s it?s not a serious crime, and I?m beyond outraged.?

God, how admirable. What an important issue and what a great spokesperson for the issue. I LOVE HER!! Seriously, I remember reading about the rape kit backlog a few years ago, and I believe that one of the pressure points of the Violence Against Women Act reauthorization (which was left unauthorized for a whole year in 2012 before being reauthorized this year) was dedicating funding to work through the rape kit backlog. Still, this is a vital issue that needs more attention and I love that Mariska is doing her part.

Kaley Cuoco already has a new boyfriend! Which is not scandalous at all. No one expected her to light a candle every day for a year for Henry Cavill after they broke up after just a few weeks of famewhore-tastic dating. What is interesting though is that Kaley is already out and about with her new lovah, and there are photo-ops and everything. Much like Henry Cavill?s situation in London with those random ladies, except we actually know the name of Kaley?s new guy.
She?s dating a tennis player named Ryan Sweeting. I follow tennis a little bit, but I only really pay attention to the big names in tennis, and I had never heard of this guy. Let?s see what I can find out about him? he?s 26 years old (she?s 27), he?s ranked #518, which is just sad. Has he been injured or something? Still, tennis players have great bodies. Maybe it?s just sex with a nice guy who isn?t going to go limp at the first hint of media criticism.
Speaking of media criticism, a few days ago Kaley tweeted: ?Those of you who think I’m “paying paparazzi” to follow me around are poorly mistaken. I feel sorry for your ignorance and obvious boredom.? Oh, honey. No one thinks you?re paying the paparazzi. We just think you?re calling them and telling them where you?re going to be.
