I am profoundly sorry, English Celebitches. I?m sorry that Lindsay Lohan, the American Crackhead, is in London for New Year?s. I?m sorry that she cannot be contained, legally or spiritually. I?m sorry that the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) have not issued a crack contagion. These are photos of LL last night in London ? she?s staying at the Dorchester, I guess, and she went shopping at Harrods and she went out to eat at C London. There were several costume changes involved, and LL stopped to pose for the paparazzi several times.
Considering Lindsay is super-broke and the IRS crack-jacked all of her bank accounts, and considering that Lindsay is facing a slew of criminal charges in LA and NYC and her probation has already been revoked, you might ask yourselves: why London? Why now? And how did she afford to fly there? How does she afford to stay at The Dorchester? My guess? She?s in London for a ?job?. And her john is paying for everything. Maybe it?s some sad, nasty English millionaire, maybe it?s some Saudi or Bahraini prince who wants to ?spend time? with some nasty American ?star?. This makes sense, especially given LL?s insistence that she is not going to be ?partying? for New Year?s ? she?s being paid to be the ?guest of honor? at a private party.
The UK tabloids have a few other theories, though. Some tabloids claimed she had flown to London to crack-stalk Max George of The Wanted again, but no one seems to think that they even ran into each other, and The Wanted will be in NYC for New Year?s. The tabloids also claimed LL might be in town because she had been cast in the UK show Celebrity Big Brother. Apparently, the new cast is going to be announced soon or something, but Lindsay informed TMZ that she?s not doing that:
Cameras follow Lindsay Lohan everywhere she goes, but she’s not about to live with them … telling friends she has no interest in doing “Celebrity Big Brother.”
With LiLo arriving in London yesterday (see above), the rumor mill spun into overdrive … saying Lindsay was in town to film the super-popular British show.
But according to our sources, the idea is “completely untrue” and total “nonsense.” As one source pointed out … how could she lock herself in a home for a few months when she has a court date next month?
If anyone locks up Lindsay Lohan, it won’t be TV producers … it’ll be a judge.

Since you guys can?t seem to get enough of Jessica Simpson?s second pregnancy, or new photos of Jessica, here you go. Like, all of the sites are running with this photo that Jessica tweeted yesterday (message: ?Bumpin? and proud?), and everyone is talking about it?? I don?t really get why Jessica has been tweeting a flurry of new pics, or why everyone wants to talk about them. For this latest stunt, she?s tweeted a selfie of her baby bump in a bikini. A few points: one, Jessica?s bump is bigger than I was expecting, especially if she?s only in her first trimester (which I believe she is, although she was showing really quickly with her first pregnancy too). Second point: Jessica looks GREAT. I don?t understand why anyone would criticize her for anything. Look at how pretty her skin looks! And it?s amazing to me that she gained and lost all of that weight and she doesn?t have any stretch marks or loose skin. She looks really good.
As you can see from the pics, Jessica is still in Hawaii with Eric and her family. I?m still saying that there?s a really, really good chance Jessica is going to have a small wedding in Hawaii. Maybe tonight. Maybe tomorrow. She should totally get married in a bikini. If I looked this good, I would totally do that.
PS… People who are pregnant right now and due around the same time: Jessica, Kim Kardashian and Duchess Kate. EPIC TWINSIES.

Zooey Deschanel covers the February issue of Glamour magazine as photographed by the legendary Ellen von Unwerth. Let me make it quite clear that I find Zooey to be a very pretty woman, and I appreciate that she is willing to run with a personal style that is so different than most other young actresses. However, I can’t stomach Zooey in anything more than small doses. Even though I really loved 500 Days of Summer and Tin Man, she pretty much plays the same part in nearly every movie, and I’ve never watched “New Girl,” but I understand that the show was created and molded around the quirky Zooey persona. Now how about this photoshoot? This shot with the daisy-printed sundress is perfectly lovely.

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom are still together. For now. Disappointed or happy? After a lot of talk and a lot of gossip, Miranda and Orlando reunited in California for the holidays. Miranda even made sure some paps got some nice photos of the happy family arriving at a friend?s house just after Christmas ? go here to see those pics. Miranda and Orlando have been photographed separately throughout the holiday too ? I?m including photos of Orly and Flynn taking a hike in Runyon Canyon, and Miranda going solo at a ?business meeting? (side-eye) at a hotel, and then she went to Whole Foods. Trampire! No, we have no idea what she was doing (or who). Perhaps it?s legit.
What?s interesting to me is that the gossip has become so consistently bad that Miranda and Orlando are now actively combating the rumors. Miranda issued a statement to a UK newspaper a few days before Christmas, and even Orlando?s family is getting involved. Orly?s mom told the press that ?everything is fine? between her son and Miranda, and a source told The Mail, ?All these rumors are utterly false. They’re spending the holidays together with Orlando’s family. Both have been working on opposite sides of the world, and it will be their first opportunity to spend some time together.? Personally, I think it?s a good sign that Miranda and Orlando are making the effort to combat the rumors ? it means they still see something worth saving? maybe. My take is that HE will never leave her. I just don?t think Orlando is a dumper, you know? So if Miranda isn?t feeling it at some point, she?ll be the one to leave. But not today. Not this week. Maybe in a month or two??

Matthew McConaughey and his girl Camila Alves have welcomed their third baby after what felt like a three-month gestation. With some of these ladies, it feels like they?re pregnant for a year and a half, and then some of them seem to keep it under wraps successfully for a while. Anyway, they had a son, who will join big brother Levi and big sister Vida. Before I talk about this little boy?s name, some backstory? Matthew?s big breakout role was in Dazed & Confused, where his character?s life motto was ?Just Keep Livin??. As MM became more famous, he adopted the motto as his own, and his production company is called JK Livin and he has a foundation called JK Livin too. So what did he name his son? LIVINGSTON. As in, JK Livingston. LOL.
Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves are now the proud parents of another baby boy!
Though the spouses were rumored to have welcomed a baby girl, the Magic Mike actor set the record straight via Facebook Dec. 29.
“Camila Alves gave birth to our third child yesterday morning. Our son, Livingston Alves McConaughey, was born at 7:43 a.m on Dec. 28, 2012,” McConaughey wrote. “He greeted the world at 9 lbs. and 21 inches. Bless up and thank you for your well wishes.”
The couple’s new arrival joins older siblings Levi, 4, and Vida, 3.
McConaughey, 43, announced his wife’s pregnancy via Twitter July 4, just weeks after the couple tied the knot in Austin, Texas. Together since 2006, the couple swapped vows in front of several A-list pals, including Reese Witherpsoon and Woody Harrelson.
Several months into her third pregnancy, Brazilian model and handbag designer Alves, 30, told Us Weekly her two children were eager to welcome another sibling. “I think they fully understand that it’s a little baby coming,” she said in September. “They love it.”

Is it weird that I don?t hate the name? Granted, ?Livingston? is a weird name for a baby, but I think the boy will grow into the name rather well. Especially if he ends up being called by a nickname, like (O I DON?T KNOW) ?JK?. Levi and Livingston McConaughey? that sounds okay.

Scarlett Johansson covers the February issue of Elle UK to promote her role as Janet Leigh in Hitchcock. Exactly what is going on with her hair on this cover? Obviously, I’m a fan of the bedhead look, but it’s got no place on an otherwise sleek cover filled with neutral colors and fug, peep-toed booties. This look is neck-to-toe Victoria Beckham, and it’s nice to see that Vicky is now actively marketing her clothing to the greater-than-size-0 market. Other than the out-of-place hair, the editorial is pretty gorgeous and flattering to ScarJo’s figure. I really do like this blue and white satin dress with a bit of sexy thigh flashing through an asymmetrical sheer panel. The interview isn’t bad either, and here are some excerpts:
On turning 30 soon: “I feel like I’ve been transitioning from young woman into womanhood for a very long time. Now as I approach 30, with the last few years behind me, I feel like growing pains are behind me. It’s just nice to feel happy.”
About the phone hacking of her nude pics: “It was a crazy time. I had some problems in my family and publicly, my relationship — all that stuff. It was like ‘Oh man what next?’ But life has ebbs and flows, don?t you think? Things are more manageable now, but I?m sure something will crumble. I keep it together. I am relatively composed but I can also lose my s***. I?m pretty controlled, and probably controlling too, for better or worse. I?m working on it.”
She’s not looking to get married again: “I got married when I was young and it was incredibly romantic and I liked being married, actually. But it is different. It?s hard to put into words. To me, being in a functioning relationship doesn’t mean you have to be married. I never think about marriage. Is that weird? The only time I ever think about it is when people ask me. ‘Would I get married again?’ It’s really not important to me. It has no relevance to me right now. I?m not having kids any time soon, I’m in a nice relationship, I’m working a lot and, like I said, it’s not important to me.”
On dating outside of the acting pool: “I think there are challenges whether that person?s in your profession or not. It?s nice that [fellow actors] can relate, and you have a shorthand when you?re talking about work, but that can also be monotonous. For me, most importantly, I look for a partner who is creative. I like people that have a colourful way of looking at things, that are inspiring and like art, music and film’.”
On her unwitting “sexy” image: “I think any woman who is curvy and wears a gown to an event is, like, super-sexualised. I mean, at the time I was 18, 19. I was young. I?ve always been curvy. It runs in the family. Throw on an evening frock and it?s like all of a sudden you have boobs and everyone is like: ‘bombshell!’ Instantly it was: ‘The new Marilyn’.”

Okay, I can appreciate that Scarlett is still really tired of being considered a sex symbol, but there’s no way she can claim to have not channelled Marilyn Monroe in a recent Dolce & Gabbana advertising campaign. Although I guess she may have had no input in her styling for those shots, but I still think Scarlett must have at least been flattered by the comparisons during her earlier career. Now she’s wary of anyone even noticing that she has boobs.
As for Scarlett’s comments about marriage and how she’s not about to go there again (at least not anytime soon) as well as her thoughts on having kids … well, I guess we really now know what happened to her and Ryan Reynolds, right? He was probably disappointed that she didn’t want to give up her career and start having babies right away, and I guess they (like so many other couples) just didn’t know each other well enough before getting married. Hopefully, Blake Lively will have better luck in the long run.

The Los Angeles Times did a long, magazine-like profile of Anne Hathaway, all part of promotion for Les Miserables and for Anne?s Oscar campaign, of course. It?s an interesting piece ? you can read the whole thing here. The article doesn?t editorialize as much as a magazine piece would, but the vibe is definitely ?Annie suffers terribly because she?s always trying to break out of the goody-two-shoes mold.? There?s also a vibe of ?Annie suffers terribly because she?s such a perfectionist and so, so neurotic.? Which she is, in all honesty. She?s a perfectionist, she?s really neurotic about doing a good job and not letting anyone down, and good for her. When men have those qualities, we consider them geniuses. So I?m fine with that, but this whole ?Annie doesn?t want to be seen as a princess? thing is kind of meh. She has a lot of fans because women young and old think she?s classy and a half-decent role model for young women. Of course, that was before Annie flashed her biscuit. Anyway, here are some highlights from the piece:
Attending Vassar and NYC (to get a BA): “I felt a certain degree of failure in going to school at first because I couldn’t put it off by having a job” in acting, she acknowledged.
On the criticism for her co-hosting the Oscars in 2011: ?I walked around feeling sick to my stomach for a week,” she admitted.
Comparisons: “I see the sort of work that people like Meryl Streep and Cate Blanchett and Kate Winslet can do, and I want to do that level of work so badly,” said the actress, who was nominated for an Oscar for “Rachel Getting Married” but didn’t win (the three women she referenced all have Oscars to their names). “But I don’t believe I’m as gifted as them. So the only thing I can control is how hard I work at it ? how much do I commit to it? How far will I take it?”
Losing weight for Fantine: “Tom [Hooper, the director] didn’t like what I was doing, but he understood why I was doing it,” Hathaway countered. “No one liked what I was doing. By the end, people were hugging me and they would get emotional because I felt so frail.”
She?s neurotic: “If I have an extra glass of wine the night before I shoot a scene,” she said, “I don’t feel good about myself because of that. If I see it on-screen, the guilt is immediate. I feel like maybe I’ve let the scene down.”
She really felt it when she sang ?I Dreamed a Dream?: “The second all of those feelings that Fantine was feeling were turned on me, they were savage ? they were animalistic, they had teeth and talons and they were shredders,” she said. “I tried not to think about myself that day because I was in a very unkind place. Fantine did nothing wrong. And I think that’s where I was getting in a lot of pain because of it. She’s innocent.”
Inherited perfectionism: “I think I’ve always taken acting very seriously and almost with a certain degree of earnestness because my mother was so talented and didn’t work a lot,” she explained.
Her career post-Fantine: “I just feel that now I’m being viewed very differently,” she said. After other roles, she said, “I’d think ? ‘Oh, this is the moment’ ? I’m playing a recovering drug addict. But there was always a kind of push back, like, ‘Oh, she’s not that sexy.’ People were trying to put me in the good girl category or the bad girl category, and this is the first time I’ve ever been seen as a whole.”
Marriage: “I know it sounds really eager, but I’m super psyched to be married,” she said. “I feel very blessed in this moment, because I’m going through something that you could easily get swept up in, and I just want to go home and hang out with my husband every day. Letting yourself be taken care of is the most remarkable experience. I don’t fall apart as much, because I know I can.”

I know some of you will throw a ?bitch please? at Anne for name-checking Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett and Kate Winslet, but in her defense? she?s not outright saying ?I am their heir? or ?I?m going to be just like them!? It feels more like she?s fan-girling, and honestly asking ?I?m not as good as them, what can I do to be as good as them??
By far, the most interesting part of the story was when they go into how Anne filmed ?I Dreamed a Dream?. Anne kept asking the director for more takes, and she kept going and going until she had sung the song more than 20 times. Tom Hooper kept telling her that she gave the perfect take on Take 4, but Anne kept trying to be MORE perfect. Finally, Hooper told her to stop and Anne says, “And I was like, ‘Fair enough.’ I never bettered it.? When asked if she liked the version that ended up in the film, her reply is ?Eh.? I mean? she?s a perfectionist. She?s neurotic. She IS a goody-two-shoes. But why is that a bad thing?

I?m pretty laissez faire when it comes to celebrities doing bad stuff to themselves alone, so if Jennifer Aniston wants to lay out every day, tanning like an old-school beach bunny who has never heard of skin cancer, so be it. What is interesting to me is that JustJen aren?t just doing a romantic beach holiday for two. Late last week, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski flew in, and sources claim they?re actually staying at the same resort/rented home thing as JustJen. Oh, and Jimmel Kimmel and his wife are there too. And then Page Six claimed this:
George Clooney and girlfriend Stacy Keibler shared a cozy couples? dinner with Jennifer Aniston and her fianc, Justin Theroux, at El Dorado, the luxury Mexican resort where the stars are staying to welcome in the New Year. Sources said Gorgeous George and his leggy blond girlfriend joined Aniston and Theroux for a private dinner Thursday night. The resort in Cabo San Lucas is owned by Mike Meldman, who traditionally throws a huge annual bash, which is taking place [Sunday night].

So Jennifer and Justin want you to know that they?re super-duper-close BFFs with Krasinski, Blunt, Kimmel, Clooney and Keibler. Eh? once again, it?s fine. It?s a much smarter insider-Hollywood strategy to vacation with Krasinski and Clooney as opposed to Chelsea Handler. Or is Handler there too? I wonder why she?s not there?? And where?s Courteney Cox? Maybe Justin really did prune Jen?s Goddess Circle.
I?m including the mandatory butt shot of Aniston (it?s like an annual thing) and a shot of Justin leaning down and kissing Jennifer while she lounges by the pool. Last thing: Justin looks like oily beef jerky.

Fresh off their Nashville holiday, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian arrived in Los Cabos, Mexico on Sunday (December 30).
Dressed for travel in an olive-green knee-length dress, the 30-year-old songstress helped her hubby keep track of their bags as they were loaded in the car.
The couple and Eddie?s children returned to Los Angeles from their trip east yesterday with just enough time for LeAnn to repack her bags and head south of the border.
