Here is Taylor Swift appearing happy and relaxed when she was snapped out and about in the Big Apple in New York
Dressed in an olive green romper with white T-shirt layered under, the 1985 singer looked chic and casual.
Later she rocks a cute denim shirt as she heads into the gym with her friend Martha Hun.

| Mel C on why she's not doing the Spice Girls reunion: 'I?m not a celebrity' | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Back in 1998, this Spice Girl fan saw a Ginger Spice-less Spice quartet perform in Atlanta. And, believe me, I was not happy about it, although it was still a fun show. Now, it appears the band is a trio. The British girl group, who shot to the top off the charts 20 years ago with “Wannabe” and became insanely famous worldwide, is planning a reunion starting with a one-off concert in London?s Hyde Park. The reunion could extend to new songs and possibly a tour (fingers crossed!)
Sadly, the only girls currently on board are Geri ?Ginger Spice? Halliwell, Emma ?Baby Spice? Bunton and Melanie ?Scary Spice? Brown, a/k/a/ Mel B. Victoria ?Posh Spice? Beckham has refused to be a part of the reunion since the get-go (devoting her time to fashion) and now, Melanie ?Sporty Spice? Chisolm is the latest Spice Girl to go back on the shelf.
The 42-year-old singer, who has had quite a few hits in the UK, recently wrote an essay for Britain?s Love Magazine, where she talked about her rise to fame, the ever-changing music industry and why she has chosen not to join her fellow Spice Girls on stage. It?s a lengthy, worthwhile read if you?re a fan, but if you don?t have that kind of time, here are some excerpts:
For a few years, with four other girls by my side, we achieved exactly what we set out to do. Thankfully, we all wanted the same thing. We still to this day believe a big part of our success was due to our absolute unquestionable belief that we would indeed become the biggest band in the world.
But my relationship with fame has changed over the years and at times of personal struggle (remember the angry rock chick years?) when you?d rather nobody knew who you were I?d have to remind myself that without fame from the band it would be far more difficult for me to do the thing that I love. You see, I?m a singer and songwriter. Not a celebrity. The two are very different things. You can earn a fortune being a ?celebrity? depending on how much dignity you want to keep in tact.
Look, I will be a Spice Girl until I die. But the continuous speculation on whether we will reform to celebrate 20 years of Wannabe has been particularly exhausting. Don?t get me wrong – I totally get it. But is it a new rule that bands have to reform? Why can?t we just be remembered for our incredible achievements in the nineties.
We?re constantly reminded of our famous line from Wannabe ? friendship never ends. There will always be hurdles with friendship. I love the girls dearly. We have a very unique bond that will never be broken and I will continue to support them all as much as I can.
Also, I am under no illusion that my solo work will ever come close to a fraction of the impact that we make as the Spice Girls. I love the band I am beyond proud of my past and will always embrace and celebrate being a Spice Girl, It?s what I am.
[From Love Magazine]
I get Melanie?s reasons for stepping back from the reunion, but do I detect a little shade towards Mel B., who is pretty much the de facto ringleader of the reunion? The Hyde Park concert has already been booked, and I?m hoping to win the lottery before July of next year so I can get a ticket and head on over to jolly old England to see my complete guilty pleasure group. Besides, there were reports just a few weeks ago that Mel C. was considering taking legal action to stop the reunion. Not sure if the words she penned in her eloquent essay are ringing so true now.
Mel C. could be missing out on quite a payday, with reports claiming that each of the Spice Girls who performs at the Hyde Park gig stands to make around $14 million. For just one show? I?d certainly take that paycheck. She should reconsider, not only because I selfishly want to see as many of them together as I can. (There?s no hope for Victoria, and she reportedly had her mic turned off during live shows anyway, as she recently admitted.)
I don?t think Sporty wants to end up like band mate Geri, who regretted leaving the band?s 1998 tour. On last Saturday?s episode of Oprah Winfrey?s Where Are They Now?, she confessed that her actions were ?immature?, adding, ?There was a bit of ruction in the band. It was like, ?You?re getting on my nerves and I don?t know how to talk this through, so I?m out of here.?? C?mon ladies, let?s get over this ruction and please, Mel C., say you?ll be there.

| Chloe Moretz & Brooklyn Beckham are no longer cool for the summer | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

It felt like Chloe Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham had been dating for a while, right? I think it felt that way because they were so public about it. I mean, they had only been going out a month when Chloe began to refer to Brooklyn as her ?boyfriend? in interviews. Chloe and Lil? Becks started up in April of this year, officially. That was when the first sightings of them started happening. They had a full-blown relationship throughout the summer. You might even say that they were cool for the summer? (I’m so “hip.”) But now it?s over.
Victoria and David Beckham?s son Brooklyn is back in London after sources tell us he?s split with his girlfriend, actress Chlo Grace Moretz. Beckham, 17, spent the summer in LA hanging out with the ?Kick-Ass? star, 19, who announced they were a couple in May on Bravo?s ?Watch What Happens Live,? with Andy Cohen.
Spies tell us that over the past few weeks they were in the same city, but were not spending time together. Beckham was spotted at LA hot spot the Nice Guy solo. Reps didn?t comment.

I always forget that Brooklyn is only 17. Does he go to school? Or does he just ?work? on random nepotism-friendly jobs? Anyway, I?m a little bit sad about this, just because Chloe really did love to talk about her boyfriend in interviews, and they seemed well-suited for each other overall. Maybe this split isn?t forever though ? if there?s one thing I?ve noticed about these celebrity kidz, it?s that it?s never really over.

| Emma Stone in Versace & Giambattista Valli in Venice: gorgeous or twee? | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some photos of Emma Stone at the Venice Film Festival on Wednesday. I?m including photos of Emma at the photocall and premiere for La La Land. The premiere dress is the sparkly silver Atelier Versace, and the photocall dress is the green and Pink Giambattista Valli. The photocall pics came out early in the day on Wednesday, and I made the choice not to post them immediately because I thought the Valli dress was so unimpressive. While I?m always happy to see Emma doing the film festival circuit, that dress in particular did nothing for me. But the Versace? I love it. It?s so dramatic, especially for Emma (who doesn?t always do ?drama!?).
Until I sat down to write this post, I had not watched the trailer for La La Land, the film starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, which premiered last night in Venice. I honestly hadn?t paid attention to what the film was about, I only knew it involved Gosling and Stone. Then I heard that it involved singing and I was like, ?Nah, pass.? So I watched the trailer and?I still feel that way.
Don?t get me wrong, Emma and Ryan are beautiful and they seem to have so much chemistry together. But I?m probably still going to give this one a pass. Is it because I?m cynical? Is it because seeing two beautiful young people fall in love whilst singing doesn?t do much for me? Perhaps I am cynical. And Emma says that younger people (not me, then) should stop falling into the Cynicism Trap. Emma told the Daily Beast:
?What I would hope young people would take away from it is, I don?t know if you remember when Conan O?Brien left his show? but he made a speech at the end of it, and he said ?to let go of cynicism? and that ?cynicism was the ugliest quality? to him. And I think something about Damien [Chazelle, the director] and what Damien created, and the hopefulness and the joy and the beauty of this medium but also this story? this movie is in no way cynical. It?s about dreaming, and hoping, and working toward something to achieve something, and I think young people have fallen into a lot of cynicism, and making fun of things, and pointing out the flaws in everything, and this movie is anything but that. So it?s a huge joy to be a part of it and show it to young people. This is what I hope young people will do?work hard to achieve their dreams and hope, instead of be cynical.?
[From The Daily Beast]
Sure. I understand that, the plea for less negativity, less judgment, less cynicism, less jaded hopelessness. The thing that always happens with me is that I think I?m so jaded and over it, then a commercial will make me cry, or I?m genuinely moved by some inspirational news story. Or I?ll meet someone truly negative, and suddenly I become the most positive person ever (?I disagree, everything is awesome!?). But will all of that help me enjoy a movie that looks hella twee?
