There were too many people in Thom Browne last night to fit them all in one post! The Thom Browne looks were mostly on point, with a few exceptions. Demi Moore was having fun in this wide pinstripe structural gown. Im a sucker for a giant stiff accessory and I really like the circular high back. This look is a traditional gown with menswear elements and its well executed. Demi is having her moment and I would love to see her in more shows and movies.
Tramell Tillman, who plays Mr. Milchick in Severance, made me go ooh who is that? He looks so different and expertly on theme. Check out his velvet tuxedo jacket, cummerbund and black and white patent shoes! Hes also in Thom Browne.

| | Priyanka Chopra's Balmain look was more Kentucky Derby than Met Gala | | Added 184 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas are still going strong after all of these years. They both seem to enjoy fashion, and they told Vogue that they coordinated their looks for the Met Gala. They both knew the theme and this was their interpretation. Thoughts? Nick wore Bianca Saunders and I actually think his outfit is fine and on-theme. Priyanka wore Balmain and? this is more like a Kentucky Derby look, right? That was my first thought she would have totally been at home at the derby, not the Met Gala. She was basically the only person in polka dots too everyone else went with stripes, or more specifically, pinstripes. Her Bulgari necklace is spectacular though.

| | Was Miley Cyrus's Alaia one of the worst looks of the Met Gala' | | Added 184 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Given Miley Cyrus?s history of cultural appropriation, I was not surprised that she turned up at the Black Dandy-themed Met Gala. I was surprised that she didn?t seem to want to do anything with the theme. Miley wore a two-piece look from Alaia with Cartier jewelry. This is so? nothingburger. It doesn?t have anything to do with anything, it?s not some kind of obscure reference nor is it any kind of homage. It?s just a boring look. Miley needs to stop messing with her face as well, my god.
Aimee Lou Wood also wore Alaia, and she seemingly came to her first-ever Met Gala at the invitation of her White Lotus friend and costar Patrick Schwarzenegger. Patrick wore Balmain. I fear that he was one of the few white guys who nailed the hell out of the theme. Aimee?s look was? eh. Her ensemble actually telegraphs her Britishness this is exactly what an offbeat British person would choose.

| | Halle Berry wore LaQuan Smith to the Met Gala: what in the world is this look? | | Added 184 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I hate to say this because I usually think so highly of Halle Berry?s beauty and style, but I absolutely loathed Halle?s Met Gala look this year. Halle is all about the history of Black fashion and Halle IS part of that history. She could have done so many different things with the theme, and instead, she wore this LaQuan Smith which is? just bad. It?s unflattering, the design itself is not good (to put it mildly) and Halle one of the most beautiful women in the world looks tired, drawn and cartoonish.
Ciara & Russell Wilson- she also wore LaQuan Smith. I thought they were one of the best coordinated couple-looks. They looked amazing.

I would have loved to see Anne Hathaway in a very sharp suit with fabulous brooches, but we got this instead Anne in Carolina Herrera, with Bulgari jewels and a high ponytail. I actually like this look a lot she looks amazing and timeless. But yeah, it didn?t have much to do with the theme.
Madonna in Tom Ford. Call me crazy, but she nailed this, right? Totally Cab Calloway.
And here?s Nicole Kidman I was very surprised to see her out this year, but she seemed to be enjoying herself and she seemed to think her Balenciaga fit with the theme (it did not, but it?s fine). The most interesting part is that she?s seemingly chopped off her weave and she now has a ?skaterboi? haircut.
And finally, Shakira had no idea what she was doing in this Prabal Gurung. She just thought ?Met Gala = big gown.?

It feels foretold at this point that Zendaya is always going to make the best-dressed list wherever she goes and whatever she wears. She manages to never feel same-y though, which is a gift. That being said, Zendaya interpreted the Black Dandy theme the same as many other women, and I kind of thought other women had more fun with it. Zendaya?s custom Louis Vuitton look was a tribute to Diana Ross in Mahogany. I get that and it totally works! I kind of wish Zendaya had juiced up the look with more jewelry, especially brooches on her lapel.
It was a huge night for Louis Vuitton, especially with Pharrell Williams as co-chair this year (Pharrell is now designing for LV). Pharrell and LV were allergic to pants for women, save Zendaya. Doechii got a very cute shorts-suit ensemble. This was so fun!
Sabrina Carpenter was pantsless in LV, as was Blackpink?s Lisa. Both ensembles are? interesting, I guess.

| | Eva Amurri got her 32Fs reduced & she's been documenting the process on her IG | | Added 189 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

One of the most bizarre things, to me, is that Eva Amurri ended up moving away from an acting career to turn into a full-time influencer. She?s been an influencer and high-strung mommy blogger for a decade or longer. She must do well in the influencer business, because it?s really the only thing she does at this point. Anyway, I never really thought that Eva looked much like her mother (Susan Sarandon), but Eva did inherit two things from her mom: the incredible bust. Seriously, Eva had three kids and her girls were still large, round and perky. But they were also very big, and she decided to get a breast reduction. Now that I?m looking through her IG, I see that this whole process was extremely well-documented, but it was news to me and news to People Mag.
Eva Amurri has been documenting her recovery from breast reduction surgery, sharing that sleeping ? and coming to terms with giving her body time to rest ? has been the hardest part of recovery.
The actress 40, explained that she?d made the decision to have her 32F breasts reduced in a post on her lifestyle site, Happily Eva After, titled Bye, Bye, Boobies. As she wrote, larger breasts ?can make you extremely self-conscious and insecure. They hurt your back, they?re hard to clothe, and most importantly: you can?t take them off and take a break. That?s been the hardest part.?
Amurri, the only child of Susan Sarandon and Franco Amurri, continued, ?Having huge boobs has been a blast at times! When I want to feel extra sultry or sexy, they?ve been super fun! In the bedroom? FANTASTIC. When I want attention? Perfection. But what about those days that I didn?t? What about when I would have done anything to not have to carry 10 extra pounds on the front of my body or have breasts I couldn?t put away or ignore??
Amurri, who shares daughter Marlowe, 10, son Major, 8, and son Mateo, 5, with her ex-husband, soccer player Kyle Martino, said that pregnancy and nursing caused her breasts to get bigger and smaller. ?The yo-yo-ing size contributed to drooping and sagging.?
She finally explained that she was having the reduction ? celebrating with a ?Bye, Bye, Boobies? cake ? and shared her reluctance was due to her fears around anesthesia. She shared a loopy post-surgery video, filmed while her husband, chef Ian Hock was driving her home, where she said she was obsessed with everyone, admitted that she had a mental breakdown before the procedure ? and then broke into tears when she realized her surgeon, Dr. Umbareen Mahmood, gave her chocolate.
Recovery has been tough, Amurri revealed, explaining she?s ?so uncomfortable? and cant sleep. ?The truth is that until I can sleep on my side ? I just feel like I?m in the newborn phase of motherhood where I?m up pretty much constantly,?
[From People]
As a fellow big-rig hauler, I have to admit, I?ve fantasized about getting the reduction surgery too. Like, I genuinely think my life (and my back/shoulders) would be much better with perky C-cups. Alas, I?m also scared of the anesthesia, plus I just don?t want anyone cutting into me for any reason, you know? I?ve heard horror stories of how long it takes to recover from the reduction surgery too. Eva?s been documenting that on her social media too, that she can?t sleep properly and she?s in too much pain to lift her arms. Hm.

| | Gwyneth Paltrow is getting 'a little bit sick' of her latest diet, the Paleo Diet | | Added 190 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

One of Gwyneth Paltrow?s greatest passions is ?diets.? She loves a diet. She loves trying new diets. She loves mixing and matching different crazy diets. I remember in the early days of her Goop newsletter, every other week she was on some kind of ?juice cleanse? or starvation diet (?fasting? for elites). Over the years, she?s promoted strict elimination diets, macrobiotic diets and Paleo diets. At one point, she even admitted that her doctors basically told her that she was making herself really sick with all of the dieting, and that her bones were really fragile (because she hasn?t ingested vital nutrients in thirty years). Oh, and don?t forget that she?s a regular IV user too, because she?s literally so food-disordered, she can?t just eat like a peasant or swallow vitamin supplements. Well, big news! Gwyneth has given up her Paleo diet.
Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed shes ditching her ultra-strict Paleo diet after years of being obsessed with eating healthily and restricting bread, cheese and pasta. The actress turned wellness guru, 52, who founded her wellness company GOOP in 2008, admitted shes sick of the caveman diet.
In recent years, Gwyneths diet involves drinking coffee for breakfast, bone broth for lunch and vegetables for dinner. The idea of the Paleo diet, also known as the Paleolithic or caveman diet, is to eliminate modern foods and eat what our ancestors would have. It advocates eating meat, vegetables, nuts and limited fruit, and excluding grains, legumes, dairy, salt, refined sugar and processed oils. Although its followers boast of benefits including weight loss, a smaller appetite, and more energy, there has been little research into its effects.
The Hollywood star turned to the Paleo diet a few years ago alongside her TV producer husband Brad Falchuk, 54. Speaking on her Goop podcast, she said: I went into hardcore macrobiotic for a certain time, that was an interesting chapter where I got obsessed with eating very very healthily. I really deepened my connection with food and the whole philosophy around macrobiotics which is essentially just how they eat in the mountains of Japan, so very local and seasonal. Lots of fish, vegetables, rice, no diary, no sugar etc. I think that period of time I might have got a little didactical about it.?
I was just so amazed that we had this power in our hands that if we treated ourselves well and hydrated and ate whole foods that we could just feel so much better. I was sort of intoxicated by that idea and I still feel that way to this day. Things have gotten a little more complicated with me and longer term with inflammation and stuff. Its the reason Brad and I became Paleo a few years ago now. Although I?m a little bit sick of it, if I?m honest. I?m getting back into eating sourdough bread, cheese ? there I said it. A little pasta after being strict with it for so long. But again I think its a good template, eating foods that are as whole and fresh as possible. I dont think there are any doctor or nutritionist that would refute that.
[From The Daily Mail]
?Things have gotten a little more complicated with me and longer term with inflammation and stuff.? ?And stuff? is doing such heavy lifting. Like? she has consistently refused to put it together that she?s made herself sick over the years by adhering to these extreme diets, in between starving herself and using IV drips. I can?t even imagine being this food-disordered for so many years and creating a whole ?wellness? company around it too. Gwyneth is in her 50s and she?s still got all of these hang-ups over food and it?s just, like? leave us out of your disorder, you know?

| | Brad Pitt cast in the lead of A24's adaptation of Tim Winton's 'The Riders' | | Added 191 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Brad Pitt was filming his (stupid) Formula 1 movie for more than 18 months, no joke. You could say that the 2023 writers strike and actors strike affected the production, but you would be wrong the production kept working in Europe during the strikes, and no one said sh-t about it. I think the F1 movie finally wrapped last December, and it?s scheduled to come out in June. It was produced by Apple and it will eventually come out on AppleTV, but it?s supposed to get a wide theatrical release. Where have we heard that before? Oh right, Wolfs was also produced by Apple and also supposed to get a wide theatrical release last summer, but then Apple realized they had a big, stinking turd on their hands and they shuffled it off to streaming quickly after a one-week limited theatrical release. I kind of wonder if the same thing will happen with this F1 movie, or if Apple is in too deep on this one. Reportedly, the F1 movie cost over $300 million to make. Wonder if Variety will make a big stink about it, or if they only reserve that kind of hysterical reporting for Black directors.
I bring all of this up because I?m tired of Hollywood investing this kind of money or any kind of money in mediocre white men, if not terrible white men. Since 2016, Pitt has only made two films (I think?) which have made money or broke even. His track record sucks and his violent personal history weighs down productions and promotional tours. But Pitt has just been cast in yet another movie:
Brad Pitt and Conclave director Edward Berger will team on A24 feature The Riders. The Riders is based on Tim Winton?s novel of the same name, which was shortlisted for the Booker Prize in 1995 and follows a man who travels around Europe with his daughter looking for their wife and mother who has gone missing. David Kajganich is adapting for the screen.
Ridley Scott is producing via his Scott Free banner with Michael Pruss. Kajganich will also produce alongside Berger?s nine hours banner and Pitt, Jeremy Kleiner and Dede Gardner for Plan B Entertainment. Production will start in early 2026, shooting in multiple locations across Europe.
Berger, Kajganich and Scott Free previously worked with on AMC series The Terror. Pitt was last seen starring opposite George Clooney in the action comedy Wolfs and will next be seen in Formula One movie F1, both out via Apple.
[From THR]
I haven?t read the book, but I read some summaries of the book a man?s wife goes missing and he and their daughter go hunting around Europe to figure out what happened, when it becomes increasingly clear that the wife simply didn?t want to be married to this guy anymore. You also never hear the wife?s side of things, and the guy might be an unreliable narrator. Like? enough. Pitt shouldn?t have been cast.
