Rounding out the week with some media duties, Rihanna headed over to ABC Studios in Times Square, New York City on Friday morning (March 13).
Joined by costars Jim Parsons and Steve Martin, the ?Run This Town? songstress plugged her new movie ?Home? on ?Good Morning America? ahead of the March 27th theatrical release.
Per the synopsis, ?When Oh, a loveable misfit from another planet, lands on Earth and finds himself on the run from his own people, he forms an unlikely friendship with an adventurous girl named Tip who is on a quest of her own. Through a series of comic adventures with Tip, Oh comes to understand that being different and making mistakes is all part of being human. Anna Faris covers the April issue of Health magazine. She gives lots of quotes about food (loves it) and exercise (mostly hates it). I’m including excerpts where she talks about how Chris Pratt won’t let her cook fattening meals anymore. Chris previously acknowledged that Anna misses his chubby physique: “She likes me fat.” He understands, but he’s in the position where Marvel actually visited his home to check his weight. Chris also admitted to being an emotional eater and how he feels much better now that he’s fit. Anna gets it, but she still misses her giant teddy bear. I think they’re fine.
Anna discusses her acceptance of the paparazzi. She sees their presence as part of her job. She doesn’t mind when they follow her family and take photos. Anna talks about “some celebrities” being “so mean.” Is she shading celebs like Kristen Bell who have actively campaigned against the paps? I don’t know. Jennifer Garner and Halle Berry testified for the anti-pap bill, and Garner says the legislation made her kids’ lives easier. Paps CAN be obnoxious to kids – remember when one shouted insults at Suri Cruise? Awful.
There’s another side of the pap equation too. Celebrity photos are a huge industry that spawns a symbiotic relationship in many cases. Anna realizes this and doesn’t fight the tide:
On diet & exercise: “I do kind of have to watch it, but things are working in my favor right now. My job is so physical. I just don’t have time to sit down. I’ll get, like, a 15-minute break to eat a little bit, and then they’re like, ‘C’mon, we have to go!’ The other thing is that Chris is on a diet, which is helping me. I love to cook big, fattening meals. I make a really good roast chicken with homemade croutons that are fried and delicious. I used to be able to spend all day making a meal–drinking wine, cooking and watching television. Right now, I’m chasing Jack all day long. As he gets older, I’ll find it trickier to keep the weight off because we’ll start to sit down for meals. And Chris won’t let me cook those meals for him anymore. It’s just sad.”
She doesn’t mind paps: “I don’t know if my husband would necessarily agree, but most of them are pretty nice guys, just trying to make a living, and a lot of them are apologetic. I think some celebrities are so mean to them and resent them so much. I mostly feel scared just going out without makeup on. [Paparazzi] are a part of the job. Yesterday Chris and I took Jack to the train museum. There were paparazzi, but we were just like, ‘It’s an odd thing that’s happening, but let’s not stress or stress Jack out.’ At one point, Chris turned to me and said, ‘I don’t think I’ve ever been happier in my whole life.’ And I felt the same way.”
She’s not fussy with her appearance: “I would love to be in a place where somebody comes to my house and just, like, spray-tans me and does my roots. But I just don’t have the patience for it. I don’t want to spend my free time doing that stuff. Even with massage these days, I’m like, ‘Ugh.’ I like to unwind with some wine and movies, and spend time with Chris and Jack.”
Yoga is not for her: “I want to do yoga, which is so good for me, but when I have to be quiet, I just kind of go crazy. I put mental pressure on myself, like, ‘Am I supposed to be feeling something? My mind is not clear. My mind is not clear.’”
When she feels sexiest: “Probably at home with my husband. He makes me feel really beautiful even when I’m feeling disgusting. I’ll be in boxer shorts and a grubby T-shirt with greasy hair, and he’ll still be like, ‘Whoa, honey. Whoaaa.’”

Anna’s attitude towards paparazzi seems so laid back. I’m reminded of the time when Nicole Kidman bought beer for all the photogs on her wedding day to Keith Urban. It’s like, “I’m happy and don’t see the point of letting a flashing mob bring me down.” But I’m not saying some celebs don’t have the right to complain, especially when kids grow scared of shouting men with cameras.
I appreciate how Anna pays lip service to the unimportance of spray tans and constant root touchups. Raising a small child on top of a job swallows the day, and she’s prioritizing. Why doesn’t Anna just go with a darker shade of hair? Then she could skip the maintenance appointments.

Stepping out for some promotional duties, Sean Penn attended the Los Angeles premiere of his new film ?The Gunman? at Regal Cinemas LA Live last night (March 12).
The ?Mystic River? hunk was joined by his lovely lady Charlize Theron as he posed for photos ahead of the big screening.
Slated to hit theaters on March 20th, ?The Gunman? also stars Idris Elba, Ray Winstone and Javier Bardem. Per the synopsis, ?A former Special Forces soldier and military contractor, suffering from PTSD, goes on the run from London to Barcelona and across Europe.?

She has a killer body, so she can wear pretty much anything. Am I the only one wondering what Charlize?s reaction was to Robin Wright?s Vanity Fair cover interview? Robin threw some magnificent shade at Sean, making him sound cruel and like he wasn?t really all that great as a lover. Which is weird, because I kind of think Charlize has been in a total sex haze for the past year with Sean.
Meanwhile, Penn appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night (was he there at the same time as Pres. Obama?!) and Penn mentioned that he and Charlize watch The Bachelor together. Which is? um???? If you care about The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Penn is Team Kaitlyn (for the new Bachelorette). Penn also says that he and Charlize argue about what parts they should fast-forward through, because he doesn?t ?really want to hear the conversations?I want to know the decisions. Is he gonna decide on this one or this one? And I want to see somebody cry. And then see somebody get ecstatic ? and then see them cry.” This is like the very definition of random.
Oh, I?m also including photos of Pamela Anderson with her son Brandon Thomas Lee. Good God, look at Brandon!!! He?s 18 years old now. Pam looks good, although that hair is totally Laura Bush. I get that Pam wants a more conservative look, but there are many other cute, age-appropriate hairstyles .

After her fashion week visit, Katy immediately went back to touring. She does work hard, but she’s in Amsterdam now, so will she party hard? Katy called Elvis Duran yesterday to talk about how she won’t partake of Amsterdam’s abundant marijuana supply:
She doesn’t like pot: “I’m going to go to the red light district tonight, actually, but let me just say this. Weed doesn’t agree with me! I turn into more of a weirdo than I actually am. I don’t really even do cocktails anymore. There’s a certain point in your life where you just turn to red wine, and that’s kind of the point I’ve turned to … A nice Malbec–I love a nice Malbec.”
Her current food habits: “I’m eating myself around the world. I was doing that kind of pseudo-Paleo think before the Super Bowl, because I had like a real goal,” she said. “And then, like the moment I got offstage, I had a Papa John’s pizza waiting for me with extra garlic sauces! I’ve just been kind of eating! I’ve been to all these great places in Italy, and all of these great place in France and had all the food that goes along with it. But I do have to shoot something important coming up in about three weeks, so I’m back to like digesting oatmeal and asparagus.”

Kanye didn?t travel with them, so I?m kind of wondering if ?Ye is going to stick around Paris for a while with Riccardo Tisci. Perhaps. Considering these photos include some close-ups of Kim?s hairline roots, I thought this would be a good opportunity to discuss all of the myriad conspiracy theories involved with Kim?s now eight-day-old blonde hair. You?d be surprised just how many variations there are.
*In Touch Weekly says that Kanye ?made? Kim go blonde and she hates it and can?t wait to go back to brown/black.
*Kim told Us Weekly that after the initial ?one-take? process in LA, she added $500 worth of highlights in Paris because she didn?t think her LA hair people ?fully got the color right.? She also says that she went blonde for fun, because ?why not??
*Radar says that Kim?s hair is now completely damaged and some stands are ?starting to break off.? Kim ?feels like she?s going bald. She?s freaking out that it won?t grow back the same.?
*Radar also has an insider who theorizes that Kim didn?t actually go completely blonde. The insider says Kim is wearing a partial blonde wig and ?the first top quarter of her hair in the front is bleached, but the rest isn?t. It?s bleached on the top and sides ? and the rest is a wig. It?s parted perfectly and at different lengths and you always see the front of her head so it looks like it?s all normal, but it?s trickery. The rest of her hair is still brown. Just watch, you?ll see her go back to brunette like it?s no problem at all complete with healthy, shiny hair. That?s because it?s fake. It?s definitely not all bleached.?
So you think she?s wearing a wig? I do not. It?s not that I think that kind of attention-grabbing stunt queen move is beyond her, it?s just that I?ve been looking at her hair from all angles for a week, and I feel pretty confident saying that she really did bleach all of her hair. You can see her roots coming in from all angles too. Yeah? stunt queen is stunt queening, but she really did do the stunt. She really did go blonde.

Is Christina Aguilera a diva? Is water wet? Is the sky blue? Does People Magazine Photoshop babies to look like robot dolls? The answer is yes, of course. But how much of a diva is Christina Aguilera these days? I feel like we?re supposed to think that her baby girl, Summer Rain, changed her and made her less crazy. But? probably not. Star Magazine says that Christina went WAY overboard with her demands when she made a guest appearance on Nashville:
Christina Aguilera may be the new kid on the set of Nashville, but she?s already too big for her britches. The Voice star recently arrived in Tennessee to begin filming her guest role ? a pop princess named Jade St. John who?s looking to go country ? but ABC insiders say she?s brought her L.A. attitude with her!
?She?s asked for not one but three hairdressers to be on call 24 hours a day because she?s so worried about what the Nashville weather will do to her hair,? an on-set source reveals. ?And her wardrobe options are twice the size of anyone else?s. She insisted that she looks sexier than any other cast member and even wants her heels to be the highest.?
But the diva?s demands are off-key with the rest of the cast. ?Everyone else on set is very down to earth,? the insider adds. ?Hopefully Christina won?t alienate herself.?

When Nashville was first on, I remember thinking that Hayden Panettiere might be difficult to work with, but you rarely hear any stories about any kind of diva behavior from her, right? I think Hayden is just happy to be working. Christina Aguilera might benefit from that kind of outlook, because I always feel like she?s just one diva tantrum away from getting herself booted from all of network television.
Incidentally, Radar recently had a story about Christina coming back to The Voice after her maternity leave and how everyone on the show just remembered how much they hate her. A source told Radar: ?Christina is such a terror to work with. She is frequently late and she doesn?t even seem to care or apologize for holding up the filming of the show. To make matters worse, she is constantly fighting with Adam. They cannot stand each other.? I thought she had a crush on Levine? She must be pissed at him for getting married.
People want Gwen Stefani and/or Shakira back, because Gwen and Shakira were actually nice, polite and professional. The producers were actually hoping to bring back Gwen or Shakira on a temporary basis, but Aguilera apparently shut it down ? she wants to be the only woman on the show. I have to think it?s a contractual issue, right? Because why would you bring back Aguilera when you could have Gwen or Shakira? I assume whenever Aguilera has fulfilled her contract, the producers will replace her permanently.
PS? She also needs someone to take away her orange paint gun because OMG.
