The couple “were so cute and super PDA all night,” an on-looker tells. “Casper just kept kissing her, and telling everyone how proud he was.” After the show, PEOPLE caught up with Smart, who called it “the best show not only in Vegas, but anywhere.”

They?ve been together for less than a year and now Mariah Carey has accepted a marriage proposal from James Packer, her Australian billionaire beau.
The ?Always Be My Baby? songstress, who was previously married to Tommy Mottola and Nick Cannon, was given a 35-carat diamond ring by her fianc as he popped the question and obviously she said yes.
Carey and Packer first met thanks to the craftiness of mutual friend Brett Ratner. Mariah has four-year-old twins from her marriage to Cannon while James has three children and has been married twice before.

Things took a turn for the worse on Thursday (January 22) for Kristin Cavallari, as she was involved in an auto accident outside of Chicago.
The ?Laguna Beach? alum was driving solo when her vehicle was struck by another driver, and she was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
Cavallari?s husband Jay Cutler rushed to be by his wife?s side and thankfully everything seems to be okay. Her rep told GossipCop, ?She was hit by another driver in Chicago. She is doing fine and will be discharged from the hospital shortly.?

Stacey Dash is 49 years old and she?s worked as an actress somewhat consistently since the 1980s. She?s worked on a variety of projects, from mainstream films to network TV shows to cable shows on BET and VH1. It?s the BET work that came back to haunt her this week, when Stacey ? a self-styled conservative pundit ? went on Fox News to discuss the absurdity of discussing #OscarsSoWhite. She ended up saying that we need to get rid of the BET channel. And the NAACP Image Awards. And Black History Month. Because? reasons. Well, BET trolled her with an Instagram by reminding her that they once signed her paychecks. So of course Stacey had to respond, because unhinged morons always have to have the last word. Stacey has a Patheos blog (just like Bristol Palin!) and she wrote a lengthy post about BET and more ? you can read the full piece here. Some highlights:
Ever since I said THIS on Fox yesterday, Black Entertainment Television has been throwing shade. They reminded me ? and the rest of America ? that I appeared on a show called The Game, which appeared on BET.
?Soooooo @realstaceyldash, can we get our check back? or nah?? the Instagram caption read. ?#Remember #YouWereOnTheGame #AndWeDontMeanTheRapper.?
Well, here?s the thing. Thank you for reminding me, since most people have never heard of that show. Why? It?s on BET. Quick. Name the top shows on BET. Drawing a blank? I think I?ve made my point.
I?m thankful for all of the acting jobs I?ve had. But I look forward to the day when people don?t self-segregate based on skin color, while loudly complaining about a segregated society. That might be hard for the people at BET to understand, especially after I read this quote from a BET exec about the Oscars: ?It would be great if the Oscar nominees represented even closely the percentage of moviegoers who are of different ethnicities, but they don?t,? said Stephen Hill.
Wow. Apparently, Mr. Hill doesn?t understand what an Oscar is. Oscars are awarded to the actors and actresses who excel? not the audience. What?s next? Awarding $1 million to the guy sitting in his pajamas on the couch watching Survivor? Giving a blue ribbon to the kid who stayed home from field day? Giving a Nobel Peace Prize to a President who escalated wars in Iraq and Afghanistan? No, that would be unreasonable.
My problem goes back to the notion that every area of life needs to break down exactly according to demographic ratios except in those areas in which black people have decided they want to have their own space. I don?t have a problem with black people having their own space. I have a problem with the folks at BET absolutely freaking out when other institutions don?t match up to what they think is best? Lord help the institution that doesn?t measure up to the standards of ?diversity? they deem is acceptable. BET lies to American black people by telling them that the rest of America is racist, so stick close to your own kind. Anything that promotes segregation is bad! And they?re absolutely mortified that someone like me ? an independent-thinking black woman ? dares call their bluff.

This is basically the chicken vs. egg argument about racism in entertainment. What came first, niche programming and entertainment tailored to specific demographics, or mainstream entertainment actively ignoring demos that weren?t white, hetero and (mostly) male? And again, I have to ask ? because I?m legitimately confused about this ? why are there people in this country so dreadfully butthurt that such niche programming exists, or that there are awards shows dedicated to recognizing talented and racially diverse artists? Especially in the past two years, when ?mainstream? awards shows have made it clear that artists of color are never good enough?
Also: Stacey Dash is such an idiot. I?m choosing not to be upset about it, but it does bug.

Julianne Hough is preparing for her role as Sandy in Fox?s Grease: Live, for which Olivia Newton John gave her her blessing, and an as-yet unplanned wedding to Brooks Laich. She also appears as Zac Efron’s character’s fiance in Dirty Grandpa, the ?Why DeNiro???? ribald comedy coming out next week. In the meantime, Julianne has collaborated on a Spring/Summer workout line with MPG Sport. To promote this, Julianne recently spoke to New York Magazine?s The Cut about her diet and – wait for it – working out:
How I start my day: Right now, because I?m rehearsing for Grease, I wake up at 6 a.m. I take my dogs outside and walk around a bit and let them go potty, then have a juice or a half a protein bar, like a Perfect Bar. I don?t eat a terribly big breakfast because I don?t like to be too full when I go work out. I also don’t like to get too comfortable before I go work out, or I don?t want to go. When I get home, I steam eggs in the pan and have some avocado and tomato and a cup of tea. I like PG Tips English Breakfast. I grew up in England, so that was my go-to.
How I sweat: I like to switch it up because I get bored. I work out with Body by Simone. I like to do Core Power Yoga. I sometimes work out with a trainer named Astrid, if I need one-on-one strength training. On weekends, I hike.
In the past, I used to decide that day what I was going to do. Now I schedule it out so I?m held accountable. On a good week, I?ll work out five times. But often I?m dancing during the day and get home late, and sometimes I?m just so tired. So it might be three times a week instead.
How I eat when I?m alone: Sometimes I do love to be healthy and cook. But there are times when Postmates is my best friend. I love Italian food like pizza, pasta, and glass of wine. The atmosphere is romantic and really fun. It?s about finding fun ways to make eating an experience beyond just fueling your body.
My wellness shortcut is: There isn’t any, really. But one thing I’ve gotten into recently is juicing. It picks up your metabolism, if you want to call it a shortcut. We bought a juicer and started at first with recipes, but now we started making our own with kale, carrots, apples, ginger, beets, celery, spinach, cucumber, and tomato.
Also, my brother [Derek] is a big advocate of working out throughout the day. So even if you’re hanging out, sit down and do some abs. If you’re walking around the kitchen, do some squats and lunges. Put on some wrists and ankle weights and lift your arms.

This all sounds reasonable to me, actually. Julianne has a dancer?s discipline so obviously a fitness routine is built into her day where some of us work to fit one in. However, she is promoting a fitness line collaboration and most of this is advice I can follow. I might skip the kitchen squats, but I can throw on a few more heavy bangles and reach for stuff off the high shelves. Postmates, though? I had never heard of Postmates ? someone runs around town picking things up and brings them to your house? This is not going to help my motivation or pocketbook.
What does make me sad is how many of these answers I could give similarly and yet, I look nothing like Julianne Hough. Granted I have a couple of decades and kids on her but I schedule a run every morning, try to cook healthy and find ways to work in a few calorie burners into everyday routines. Maybe it?s the juicing, I have never gotten into juicing. I don?t begrudge it, but when I say I am going to drink my dinner, it usually involves a Bordeaux ? does that count?
I want to like this midnight blue Monique Lhuillier dress – the color is amazing – but the fit is off. I don’t mind tent dresses but the patterned netting with a pulled-too-wide sweetheart neckline compete with the drape.

This one is obvious. Of course Mariah Carey and James Packer were always going to get engaged. We knew that as soon as we learned that Mariah was dating a billionaire. We knew it as soon as Packer slammed other singers. We knew it as soon as we learned that Mariah and James were having sex. Of course he proposed. Thankfully, he waited until she had (mysteriously) lost weight over the holidays.
Congratulations are in order ? Mariah Carey and James Packer are engaged! The proposal took place in her hometown of New York City on Thursday evening, PEOPLE has learned. Carey, 45, and Packer, 48, ? an Australian businessman ? first met at the Hercules premiere “a few years ago”, she told Steve Harvey last year. They made their red carpet debut in September last year at The Intern premiere in New York City after being photographed getting cozy while on an Italian vacation in June.
Shortly before Christmas, the couple headed to Aspen, Colorado with the singer’s 4-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-husband Nick Cannon.
This will be the third marriage for Carey, who was also previously married to music executive Tommy Mottola. Packer has three young children with his ex-wife Erica Baxter.

He really does ?get? Mariah, I?m not sure if we?ve said that before. He gets that she needs jewelry, praise and attention all the time. He gets that she?s a princess and she needs her men to spoil her. And now he gets to be her third husband. And you know what? I don?t hate it. Mariah snagged a billionaire in under a year. She should teach a class. Miranda Kerr would sign up for it.

The insider reveals the details of his new diet to Life & Style, on newsstands now. Here?s the thing: I believe Brad Pitt is vain, but do I believe he?s THIS vain? I don?t. I think he would go in for some facial peels and some Botox. Star Magazine is reporting that my favorite couple, Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber, split up back in November and that they’re “trying to keep things as amicable and normal as possible for the boys.” Naomi and Liev have been together for over ten years and have two sons together. If this report is true I’m really sad, but just read it and take it for what it’s worth:
A source tells Star that the King Kong actress, 47, quietly called it quits with the father of her children back in November after 10 years together. ?Simply put, Naomi and Liev grew apart,? reveals the insider. ?And they?ve decided it?s best for everyone to go their separate ways.? While reps for the pair deny the split, Naomi did not accompany the Ray Donovan star, 48, to the Golcen Globes on Jan. 10 – and in December, the couple put their Hamptons hideaway on the market. ?They?re trying to keep things as amicable as possible for the boys,? says the source, noting how the proud parents, who just finished filming the boxing biopic The Bleeder, took Samuel, 7, and Alexander, 8, on a recent family vacation to Australia. ?Their main focus right now is making sure their sons are okay.?

Ok so Star’s evidence seems to be that Naomi didn’t go to the Globes with Liev and that they’re selling their house in the Hamptons. Maybe they don’t want to go to the Hamptons anymore because they’re sick of the place. Maybe Naomi didn’t go to the Globes because she was busy working or had to stay home with the kids. Their reps denied it! Here’s my evidence that Naomi and Liev are still together – she Instagrams photos of him all the time. They just went on vacation to Sydney for the holidays and she posted a nice pic with him a week ago. They were papped out together looking cute and matchy in their winter jackets just last week. (Those photos are below.) They didn’t break up in November! Why do you have to be so specific with the lies, Star?
