Demi Moore was one of many celebs clad in Thom Browne at Monday?s Met Gala, but her look was truly unlike any other. Her gown was literally a necktie! The bodice from the waist up was the knot, the sculpted arc framing her head was the loop around the neck, and it was hard to see in motion and on the blue carpet, but the front and back of the dress were cut to perfect chevron points. Amal Clooney has been married to George Clooney, an American citizen, for eleven years. In all that time, she apparently never sought American citizenship. She has retained her British citizenship, and the Clooneys live in their homes around the world George?s bachelor pad in LA, a place in NYC (where they are now, as George works on Broadway), a country home in England, a home in Como, Italy. Oh, and they bought a home in France too. Well, there are reports circulating that Amal might soon be banned from entering the US or working at the United Nations.
Several top British lawyers, including Amal Clooney, have reportedly been warned about receiving sanctions from President Donald Trump that could affect their ability to enter the United States.
The Financial Times reported last week that the U.K. Foreign Office has cautioned several high-level barristers about the Trump administration leveling sanctions due to the legal advice they provided to the International Criminal Court in a war crimes case against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
In February, Trump issued Executive Order 14203, Imposing Sanctions on the International Criminal Court, which named British lawyer and ICC prosecutor Karim Khan in its annex ? the first barrister to face U.S. sanctions for advising in this case.
If sanctions against more U.K. lawyers are, in fact, handed down, Amal, 47 ? who holds British citizenship ? might be prevented from entering the U.S., where she owns a property with husband George Clooney.
Born in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1978, Amal and her family emigrated to the United Kingdom two years later to escape the Lebanese Civil War. She was raised in Buckinghamshire before studying at Oxford and NYU. She is qualified to practice law in the United States ? after being admitted to the New York bar in 2002 ? as well as England and Wales.
She and Clooney married in September 2014, and share 7-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander. PEOPLE has reached out to the U.K. Foreign Office, as well as representatives for Amal and her legal chambers, for more information about possible sanctions. A rep for George declined to comment on the Financial Times report.

Last year, there were reports that one of the big reasons why George Clooney did his ?civic duty? by writing that horrid NY Times column about Joe Biden was because Biden refused to take his calls regarding Amal?s work for the ICC. As in, the Biden administration criticized the ICC, specifically regarding the case Amal had advised on, and George got mad and tried to complain to President Biden. After that there was a series of unfortunate events leading to Donald Trump?s reelection, and Amal Clooney?s potential ban from the United States. But Biden?s age, amirite? Granted, the Clooneys will be fine no matter what. Their money insulates them and Amal will obviously still be able to enjoy the Clooney properties in England, France and Italy.

Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner walked their first red carpet together, after more than two years of dating! To be fair, we?ve gotten used to Kylie attending Timothee?s work events, and there were plenty of photos and videos of them together at the Golden Globes and Oscars. But Kylie had never posed on a carpet with her boyfriend before now! Timmy took his lady to Rome this week, and Kylie was his plus-one at the David Di Donatello Awards. Timmy is being honored with the ?David for Cinematic Excellence.?
Timothee wore Tom Ford, a very elegant black velvet suit with a fantastic cut. Kylie coordinated with her boyfriend, wearing a sultry Schiaparelli dress with a black-on-black pattern. She also wore Schiaparelli earrings which are too much for the look she should have just gone with diamond studs and let the dress be the focus. Kylie?s proportions are wild (and they did not occur naturally) but overall, she looks nice. I think she?s been easing up on her cosmetic tweaks. Timothee obviously loves the way she looks and he seems really hot for her.
Anyway, I think he loves her. He seems to care what people think of him as an artist, but he doesn?t give a sh-t what people say about his personal life. His fans are always like ?but he?s a super-sensitive artiste!? Sure, he is that, but he?s also just a guy from New York who likes the fact that he?s dating a rich single mom with her own power and fame. I think Kylie adores him too, and she?s become quieter and more elusive because of him. All of that to say, these photos are adorable.

There were too many people in Thom Browne last night to fit them all in one post! The Thom Browne looks were mostly on point, with a few exceptions. Demi Moore was having fun in this wide pinstripe structural gown. Im a sucker for a giant stiff accessory and I really like the circular high back. This look is a traditional gown with menswear elements and its well executed. Demi is having her moment and I would love to see her in more shows and movies.
Tramell Tillman, who plays Mr. Milchick in Severance, made me go ooh who is that? He looks so different and expertly on theme. Check out his velvet tuxedo jacket, cummerbund and black and white patent shoes! Hes also in Thom Browne.

Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas are still going strong after all of these years. They both seem to enjoy fashion, and they told Vogue that they coordinated their looks for the Met Gala. They both knew the theme and this was their interpretation. Thoughts? Nick wore Bianca Saunders and I actually think his outfit is fine and on-theme. Priyanka wore Balmain and? this is more like a Kentucky Derby look, right? That was my first thought she would have totally been at home at the derby, not the Met Gala. She was basically the only person in polka dots too everyone else went with stripes, or more specifically, pinstripes. Her Bulgari necklace is spectacular though.

Given Miley Cyrus?s history of cultural appropriation, I was not surprised that she turned up at the Black Dandy-themed Met Gala. I was surprised that she didn?t seem to want to do anything with the theme. Miley wore a two-piece look from Alaia with Cartier jewelry. This is so? nothingburger. It doesn?t have anything to do with anything, it?s not some kind of obscure reference nor is it any kind of homage. It?s just a boring look. Miley needs to stop messing with her face as well, my god.
Aimee Lou Wood also wore Alaia, and she seemingly came to her first-ever Met Gala at the invitation of her White Lotus friend and costar Patrick Schwarzenegger. Patrick wore Balmain. I fear that he was one of the few white guys who nailed the hell out of the theme. Aimee?s look was? eh. Her ensemble actually telegraphs her Britishness this is exactly what an offbeat British person would choose.

I hate to say this because I usually think so highly of Halle Berry?s beauty and style, but I absolutely loathed Halle?s Met Gala look this year. Halle is all about the history of Black fashion and Halle IS part of that history. She could have done so many different things with the theme, and instead, she wore this LaQuan Smith which is? just bad. It?s unflattering, the design itself is not good (to put it mildly) and Halle one of the most beautiful women in the world looks tired, drawn and cartoonish.
Ciara & Russell Wilson- she also wore LaQuan Smith. I thought they were one of the best coordinated couple-looks. They looked amazing.

I would have loved to see Anne Hathaway in a very sharp suit with fabulous brooches, but we got this instead Anne in Carolina Herrera, with Bulgari jewels and a high ponytail. I actually like this look a lot she looks amazing and timeless. But yeah, it didn?t have much to do with the theme.
Madonna in Tom Ford. Call me crazy, but she nailed this, right? Totally Cab Calloway.
And here?s Nicole Kidman I was very surprised to see her out this year, but she seemed to be enjoying herself and she seemed to think her Balenciaga fit with the theme (it did not, but it?s fine). The most interesting part is that she?s seemingly chopped off her weave and she now has a ?skaterboi? haircut.
And finally, Shakira had no idea what she was doing in this Prabal Gurung. She just thought ?Met Gala = big gown.?

It feels foretold at this point that Zendaya is always going to make the best-dressed list wherever she goes and whatever she wears. She manages to never feel same-y though, which is a gift. That being said, Zendaya interpreted the Black Dandy theme the same as many other women, and I kind of thought other women had more fun with it. Zendaya?s custom Louis Vuitton look was a tribute to Diana Ross in Mahogany. I get that and it totally works! I kind of wish Zendaya had juiced up the look with more jewelry, especially brooches on her lapel.
It was a huge night for Louis Vuitton, especially with Pharrell Williams as co-chair this year (Pharrell is now designing for LV). Pharrell and LV were allergic to pants for women, save Zendaya. Doechii got a very cute shorts-suit ensemble. This was so fun!
Sabrina Carpenter was pantsless in LV, as was Blackpink?s Lisa. Both ensembles are? interesting, I guess.
