George Clooney and Steve Wynn are snipingateach otherafter a drunken fightat a Las Vegas hotel. Not a fight with fists or anything. A fight with words.
During a group dinner at Botero in Wynn’s Encore hotel where everyone was drinking, things got heated when one of the CAA execs at the table told a joke about former Soviet Union President Mikhail Gorbachev. That didn’t sittoo well with Clooney who got all huffy when the subject turned to Obama.
?He stood up and threw a hissy fit? at the CAA guy, Wynn said in a telephone interview, his first comments on the dust-up.
?Then he sat down and started talking about the Affordable Care Act, and that?s when I spoke up,? said Wynn, a frequent critic of Obamacare. ?He didn?t like that either. I think my discussion about the Affordable Care Act was the straw that broke the camel?s back.
?When he?s drinking, he considers himself a close personal buddy of the president.
?He got up and said, ?I don’t have to listen to this (expletive) stuff. The only person who got excited at the table was George, and he ran off to another bar.?
Clooney?s partners were ?mortified,? Wynn said.
?Clooney?s fun to be with when he?s sober,? Wynn added. ?If you have a chance to drink with him, you want to get there early, and don’t stay late.
?Everybody who?s in my business, the casino business, knows to take actors with a grain of salt.?
Shots fired. Clooney issued his own statement which paints a different picture.
There were nine people at that table … so you can ask them. … Steve likes to go on rants.
?He called the president an asshole … that is a fact … I said the President was my longtime friend and then he said ?your friend is an asshole.? … At that point I told Steve that HE was an asshole and I wasn’t going to sit at his table while he was being such a jackass.
?And I walked out. There were obviously quite a few more adjectives and adverbs used by both of us. Those are all the facts. It had nothing to do with politics and everything to do with character.?
When Clooney and Wynn fight it’s pretty boring since it’s pretty muchlike two girls getting bitchy at each other. If this were Sean Penn, there’s no doubt he’d ask someone to hold his weavebecause shit was about to get real.

Cameron is still promoting The Other Woman, which means she’s still talking about cheating. I’m starting to wonder if she accepted this role simply for the press tour. It might feel good to make us all wonder who cheated on her in the past: Justin Timberlake, Matt Dillon, Jared Leto, or A-Rod? Maybe a combination thereof.
Cam’s having fun with the cheating topic, and I can applaud that spirit. Cameron told E! Online, “You know what? I feel like I’ve missed my opportunity [for revenge]. I really wish I had the stomach for it, and I’m not planning on going out with anyone who cheats on me again.” I think this tour is Cameron’s revenge. Also on the agenda? Convincing people to stop using antiperspirant:
Cameron Diaz says the world would smell better if people stopped using antiperspirant.
“I don’t believe in antiperspirant,” the actress told me at last night’s premiere of her new comedy, The Other Woman (in theaters on Friday). “It’s really bad for you. I haven’t used it for almost 20 years.”
Really?
“You’re stinky, because you use antiperspirant,” Diaz said. “It keeps all the stink in.”
Even men should go without? Yup!
“Let it go and just trim your armpit hair so it doesn’t hold onto the scent,” Diaz said.

Are people really “stinky” as a result of antiperspirant? I never thought of it that way. I won’t assume that Cameron is a stinker because she might use a deodorant that isn’t coupled with antiperspirant. She’s probably not going full Shailene Woodley. There’s also something to this mini-rant from Cameron. Many people consider antiperspirants toxic because they contain aluminum and could pose a breast cancer risk. The American Cancer Society says these claims are untrue, but you never know. I still use antiperspirant because I don’t want to offend my fellow gym-goers! They probably don’t even notice. So much for polite manners.
Cameron also appeared on Jimmy Fallon last night. Cam was actually Jimmy’s first guest when he took over Late Night from Conan O’Brien in 2009. Here’s a video of Cameron talking about Drew Barrymore’s new daughter. She also admitted pranking Jimmy’s first baby.
Cam also played roller golf with Fallon. This portion of his show is always ridic.

Here are some new photos of Kim Kardashian out and about in LA yesterday. If you think this outfit is one of the fuggest things you?ve ever seen, just wait until you see it from behind. Let?s deconstruct: a half-sheer black blouse WITH A BELT. The blouse is unflattering and baggy, and it makes her look heavier. It also makes her boobs look super-fake, which I?m already sure they are. The belt is just awful. Then we get to the skirt ? a weirdly dusty-looking grey leather that would make for a better club chair. And Kim?s ass has stretched out the leather in the seat of the skirt so that the whole thing just looks grossly baggy. And then Kim finished it off with awful booties and ?North? earrings. Girl, why can?t you dress appropriately?
In other Kim news, she was spotted buying up multiple copies of her Vogue issue. It?s weird that she was doing it at the last minute, right? The issue has been on the stands for weeks, and the Emma Stone cover will probably be on newsstands this week. She was filming for her reality show, but still? it doesn?t make much sense.

Even though there are probably only a dozen well-known lesbian celebrities, I still get confused sometimes. Jodie Foster had a long-term partner for the better part of two decades. Then they split up, and it was all very hush-hush because Jodie hadn?t even confirmed anything about her sexuality. Until last year?s Golden Globes, which was the weirdest ?coming out? speech I think I?ve ever heard. Anyway, Jodie Foster has a new partner, Alexandra Hedison. Alexandra was also with Ellen DeGeneres before Ellen got with Portia de Rossi. Alexandra and Jodie have apparently been together for less than a year (???) and now they?ve tied the knot!
Congrats to Jodie Foster and her new wife Alexandra Hedison. I can exclusively reveal that the Oscar winner and her photographer girlfriend of almost a year got married this past weekend. A rep for Foster confirms the happy news.
As E! News first reported, the two started dating sometime last summer.
“It’s pretty serious,” a source told us in September. “They’re totally in love.”
Internet chatter about the two began in the summer when the two were photographed together at a technology seminar at Fox Studios in Los Angeles and out to dinner with friends a few days later. Both were at the opening of Alan Cumming’s Macbeth in NYC back about a year ago, but they weren’t photographed together.
Hedison, who dated Ellen DeGeneres for about three years before things ended in 2004, has had her photography shown in New York and Los Angeles. She also has several acting credits, including playing Dylan Moreland on Showtime’s hit lesbian drama series, The L Word, for three seasons.
In accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award at the Golden Globes last year, Foster thanked her ex Cydney Bernard, spoke of her need for privacy and also declared that she did her “coming out a thousands years ago, in the Stone Age.”
Foster and Bernard, who are coparents to sons Charles and Kit, called it quits after 20 years in 2008.

You?ve got to wonder: Jodie was with Cydney for 20 years and there was no ring? And then Alexandra swoops in and she?s got the ring in less than a year? I ain?t saying she a golddigger. But I am saying she?s like THE trophy wife/girlfriend to the most powerful lesbians in Hollywood. Anyway, congrats to Alexandra and Jodie. This is possibly the funniest boy-on-boy drama of the year. It?s like the Selena Gomez-Taylor Swift dramz, only for the over-50 set. Apparently, George Clooney was recently in Las Vegas to promote his Casamigos tequila (the brand that he started with Rande Gerber). George was at some kind of private dinner with assorted friends, business associates and Vegas hotelier Steve Wynn. Apparently, Wynn is pretty conservative and anti-Obama. And y?all know Clooney is BFFs with President Obama. So hilarity and boy drama ensued. What makes this particularly hilarious is that we?re actually hearing from Clooney and Wynn themselves. Like, they?re getting into a pissing contest by issuing statements to a Las Vegas newspaper. It?s the over-50 equivalent of a Twitter rant.

Clooney and his Casamigos business partners Rande Gerber and Michael Meldman had joined Wynn and a group that included Wynn?s wife, Andrea Hissom, Larry Ruvo, founder of Southern Wine &Spirits, and two executives with celebrity powerhouse Creative Artists Agency.

Sounds like two drunks fighting about politics. Because that never happens. It?s the way everything is playing out in the media that is SO GREAT. After the Review-Journal published this story yesterday, Page Six got a ?leak? from Clooney?s camp. A source told Page Six:
?George and Rande were in Vegas for a party for their Casamigos tequila and had an early dinner with Wynn and other associates. Things turned nasty as Wynn was provoking George, talking about politics. At first George just wasn?t responding. He just sat there politely listening,? our source said. But ?Steve kept pushing and pushing, then started raising his voice. George still didn?t respond, he really didn?t want to get into it.? But finally, Wynn figured out how to push the ?Gravity? star?s buttons. ?Discussing Obamacare, Steve called Obama ?an a?-?-?hole,? ? said our source. ?George responded, ?President Obama is my friend, don?t talk about him like that.??? Wynn then shot back, ?Your friend is an a?-?-?hole!? George glared at Steve and said, ?No! You are an a?-?-?hole, and I?m not going to sit here any more and listen to this!???
The sources said while Clooney stuck up for the president, he pointed his finger at Steve, and ?Wynn?s three goon-like bodyguards immediately loomed up behind Rande and George.? But ?before Wynn?s bodyguards could touch them, George and Rande got up and walked out.?

What really happened? I have no idea. I have no doubt that tempers flared and harsh words were spoken. The thing is? I can fault Clooney for a lot of things, but he seems pretty even-tempered about politics. What I mean is that he?s not the type to froth at the mouth and start screaming at people who don?t agree with him. But he is the kind of person to call Steve Wynn an ?a?hole? to his face.
