In a weekend post the infamous ?laying pipe? story we talked about Taylor Swift?s visit to Kansas City last week, and how her security people were seen in Travis?s neighborhood. Page Six had photos of the exterior of his (very pretty) house too. I mentioned that I was surprised that Travis doesn?t live in a gated community, and many commenters mentioned that many ?local athletes? in various cities tend to live in regular neighborhoods, not gated communities, and that most locals look out for their biggest celebrities and protect their privacy. Sure, but now Travis Kelce is dating one of the most famous women in the world. There were world leaders pleading with her to bring her tour to their countries. So? Travis needed to ?level up? in a hurry. Looks like he? just bought a house in a gated community.
Travis Kelce has snapped up a $6 million mansion in Kansas City in a desperate bid for more privacy surrounding his newfound romance with Taylor Swift, Page Six can confirm. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, and the 12-time Grammy winner, 33, have been enjoying frequent rendezvouses in recent weeks, and were photographed holding hands in NYC last week.
On Tuesday, Kelce signed on the dotted line to close the deal, making him the new owner of a plush pad that boasts a waterfall, swimming pool and mini golf course, TMZ first reported. The luxe home is nestled in a gated community, offering unparalleled privacy for Kelce and any guests that stay over in the future.
Kelce began his quest of searching for a private estate after it became clear to him how accessible his previous home was, according to the outlet.
Kelce already owned a custom-designed, seven-bedroom mansion based in Kansas City?s ritzy Briarcliff West neighborhood, which he purchased for $995,000 in 2019, and an Orlando condo which he grabbed for $355,000 in the same year.
Kelce, who has an annual salary of $14 million, signed a lucrative four-deal deal with the team worth $57 million in 2020. The hefty sum does not include paid partnerships, which earn him millions alone.

As soon as I saw photos of Taylor Swift?s security in SUVs around Kelce?s neighborhood, I figured this would happen. Still, I?m a little bit surprised it happened so fast Taylor just spent the night last week and he?s already buying a new home with added security! It?s not like Taylor walked into his house and was like ?this is a dump.? It feels like he just wants to ensure that Taylor has nothing to worry about when she visits him in Kansas City. I really respect Travis here he?s doing everything he can to show Taylor that he?s serious and locked-in, and planning for the future. Hope his new house has a bedroom which can be converted into a closet for Travis?s wardrobe.

Gwyneth Paltrow is launching ?Good Clean Goop,? a mass-market extension of Goop Beauty and her Goop wellness supplements. Good Clean Goop will be available at Target and Amazon and she?s seemingly put some effort into making products at an affordable price point for peasants. We?ll see! To promote this new thing, Gwyneth gave a lengthy interview to Bustle. She talked about the products, of course, but in typical Gwyneth fashion, she also touched on the ?nepo baby? issue and the fact that she didn?t watch Prince Harry and Meghan?s Oprah interview. Some highlights from Bustle:
The Sussexes? Oprah interview: ?Do you know I?m the only person in America that did not see that interview? Well, I didn?t watch it at the time, and now I can?t I don?t know where to find it. I?m so out of it culturally. It?s really embarrassing. Oh, my God, you have no idea. I was sitting with a friend yesterday, and she was like, ?Did you see something, something? about?? I was like, ?What?? She goes, ?What is wrong with you?? It was like three big things in a row, and I was like, ?I have no idea what you?re talking about.?
Launching Good Clean Goop at Target & Amazon: ?We actually started the conversations with Target years and years ago. I really like Target. I think it?s a great brand. I?ve been spending a lot of more time in Target lately, just looking at the breadth of what?s available. They have cool spins on things, and they seem to care about aesthetics. Then Amazon, the consumer is there, and so you want to make it easy.
Her life is messy: ?I?m in a phase where I feel like things are just extra, extra messy because I have so much to do. My son and stepson are both seniors in high school, and sometimes I feel like the college process is a full-time job in and of itself. So I?m trying to keep the domestic stuff on track, and we have a lot going on at the company So I?m just f*cking up. I?ve burned three things in the oven this weekend, just stuff like that, where you?re like, ?What the f*ck?? I should say I?m trying to learn to be more tolerant with myself when I make messes, because I really don?t like it. It?s just one of those seasons. It?s like this fulcrum of life. I thought in my 50s I could downshift for some reason. I don?t really know why I thought that would happen. I was talking to my friend who?s in her 60s, and she?s like, ?Oh, no. No way. You got 15 more years.? I was like, ?Oh, my God.?
Turning 50: ?Fifty was great. I was concerned I was going to feel a lot of grief or fear because I remember when I turned 40, the anticipation? I really flipped out. I didn?t have that at all at 50. I was like, ?I love my friends. I love my husband. I love my kids. Yeah, my job is hard. But this is good.? To your point, it?s like: I don?t give a f*ck what anyone says about me, thinks about me, this is who I am. I felt like 50 was a deepening into myself. And, apparently, that just keeps getting better.
Having a 19-year-old daughter: ?It?s so fun to have a daughter that age, especially because she?s into clothes and skin and all that kind of stuff. She?s more girly than I am. She?s really good at doing makeup and loves to do it. I just don?t wear makeup that requires skill. I can wear lip balm, I can wear cheek color and mascara, and that?s as far as I go. It?s great because she?s plugged in to the cool stuff, and not the rubbish-y, depressing part of our culture. We were FaceTiming yesterday, and she was telling me how she uses all the Goop products. I never pushed anything, but over time she?s just migrated over to it, and so I was beaming from ear to ear. She?s such an eminently nice person, and her values are in the right place.
The nepo baby conversation as it might pertain to Apple: ?Now there?s this whole nepo baby culture, and judgment that exists around kids of famous people. She?s really just a student, and she?s been very She just wants to be a kid and be at school and learn. But there?s nothing wrong with doing or wanting to do what your parents do. Nobody rips on a kid who?s like ?I want to be a doctor like my dad and granddad.? The truth is if you grow up in a house with a lot of artists and people making art and music, that?s what you know, the same way that if you grow up in a house with law, the discussions around the table are about the nuances of whatever particular law the parents practice. I think it?s kind of an ugly moniker. I just hope that my children always feel free to pursue exactly what they want to do, irrespective of what anybody?s going to think or say.

The nepo baby conversation and Gwyneth?s disdain for the ?ugly moniker? is so funny, given that Gwyneth was the biggest nepo baby of the 1990s. That was her whole deal, she was ?Blythe Danner and Bruce Paltrow?s daughter? and Gwyneth milked her ?Hollywood royalty? status. Now, I also think Apple seems harmless and she?s barely doing nepo-baby things. She?s a college student who went to one Chanel show and gave one interview to People. Maybe Apple will nepo-baby out in the future, but for now, she?s fine.
As for not watching the Sussexes? Oprah interview? it does come across as out-of-touch. It comes across like Gwyneth lives inside her ass and doesn?t realize that there are other big cultural moments outside of Goop-ville.

I really do find myself subscribing to Mariah Carey?s holiday ideology more and more as I get older. Like, as soon as Halloween is over, I?m ready for the Christmas season. I?m fine with a two-month-long ?holiday season,? which includes Thanksgiving for Americans. I used to be like ?why are they pumping Christmas music into every store on November 1st?? But now it?s lovely to me. I love this time of year, minus my least-favorite holiday, Halloween. Anyway, Mariah gave an exclusive interview to People Magazine to promote her new ad campaign with The Children?s Place (a kids? clothing retailer), featuring her two 12-year-olds, Monroe and Moroccan. Dem Babies are on the verge of their teenage years! Some highlights:
Monroe & Moroccan turn 13 next April: Dont rush all of our lives. Theyre still 12. According to Carey, getting to watch Moroccan and Monroe grow into young adults is actually really beautiful. Theyre good, nice kids. Theyre kind-hearted people, and I really enjoy being around them and watching them grow up into the people that theyre ultimately going to become.
The kids are involved with sports: She doesnt want to be that overbearing person that talks about all the stuff that they do?[but] Theyre into activities like physical sports and stuff like that, which I was hoping they would be, because when they were little, I had them doing that. Then, when it was COVID, they really couldnt go anywhere and do anything. So now theyre both really enjoying activities and sports and all of that.
Her holiday plans: I keep that part as secret as possible until we get everything set. Its just one of those things I do every year, where I make everybody wait to play Christmas music until Im ready to take it in and feel like, Okay, now its time for the holidays.' Carey also says that she, Moroccan and Monroe do the holiday season a little bit differently than most people, but notes, We have a great time. We have our traditions, like rolling in the snow, jumping in the hot tubs ? stuff that most people dont do, but its just that were all kind of daredevils. We also sit and play games, like Heads Up! or Taboo. For the past four years, I?ve been trying to make my traditional Christmas meals, like my dad?s recipe for linguini and clam sauce. I like to make sure Monroe and Rocky come in and cook with me.
She hopes her kids love Christmas too: All of us spending time together is more than enough as a gift for what I want for Christmas, and what I want for my kids for Christmas is to just enjoy themselves, be happy, enjoy being with family, and feel loved.?

Surprising absolutely no one, Britney Spears has revealed that Justin Timberlake cheated on her when they were together circa 2001-2002. Twenty years later, we?re finally getting that vindication and that truth. For years, Justin ?slut-shamed? Britney and left enough breadcrumbs to lead fans to believe that he dumped Britney for cheating on him. When really, he got Britney pregnant, convinced her to get an abortion, cheated on her and then wrote ?Cry Me A River? about Britney cheating on HIM.
Britney Spears took most of the blame for years after she and Justin Timberlake split due to speculation she cheated but shes accusing him of doing the same with another celebrity one of many revelations in her new memoir.
Britneys Woman in Me doesnt drop until next week, but the cheating claim is just another chapter when it comes to her relationship with the *NSYNC star. Remember, we were first to report Britney also says she and Justin got pregnant when they were 19, and she claims he pushed for the abortion she eventually had.
In the book, were told Britney doesnt name the person with whom Justin allegedly stepped out, saying the woman now has a family Brit doesnt want to embarrass which means fans will, inevitably, start trying to connect dots on their own.
Of course, Justin dropped his massive hit Cry Me a River in 2002 admitting he wrote it after a nasty argument with Spears with many believing she had cheated on him.
Britney never denied the claims, and released her song Everytime the following year a song her writing partner says was a direct response to Cry Me a River. Britneys lyrics in the song include, I may have made it rain. Please, forgive me. My weakness caused you pain. And this songs my sorry.
However, since we broke the story of the abortion, some fans have speculated Everytime is actually about the pregnancy and abortion especially because the music video features a woman giving birth at the end.

Man, post-9/11 gossip was apocalyptic. I?ll admit that I missed much of this stuff at the time because I was actually paying attention to the war in Afghanistan and George W. Bush, etc. Anyway, it was well known that JT cheated on all of his girlfriends. That man just loves infidelity. What he did to Britney was disgusting.

Real talk: before this week, I wasn?t really looking forward to Britney Spears? memoir, The Woman in Me. I was worried that it would be either a massively sanitized version of her life, or it would be a big ball of chaos. People Magazine has published extensive excerpts (along with an interview with Britney) and I have to say, I was wrong. Britney?s writing is clear and simple, and she tells some truly ghastly stories in her punchy, nonchalant Britney ?voice.? Here are some of the excerpts which caught my eye:
Day drinking with her mother in eighth grade: ?For fun, starting when I was in eighth grade, my mom and I would make the two-hour drive from Kentwood to Biloxi, Mississippi, and while we were there, we would drink daiquiris. We called our cocktails ?toddies.? I loved that I was able to drink with my mom every now and then. The way we drank was nothing like how my father did it. When he drank, he grew more depressed and shut down. We became happier, more alive and adventurous.
She?s glad she wasn?t cast in ?The Notebook?: ?[Crossroads] was pretty much the beginning and end of my acting career, and I was relieved. The Notebook casting came down to me and Rachel McAdams, and even though it would have been fun to reconnect with Ryan Gosling after our time on the Mickey Mouse Club, I?m glad I didn?t do it. If I had, instead of working on my album In the Zone I?d have been acting like a 1940s heiress day and night.
The early days of her conservatorship: ?I?d been eyeballed so much growing up. I?d been looked up and down, had people telling me what they thought of my body, since I was a teenager. Shaving my head and acting out were my ways of pushing back. But under the conservatorship I was made to understand that those days were now over. I had to grow my hair out and get back into shape. I had to go to bed early and take whatever medication they told me to take. If I thought getting criticized about my body in the press was bad, it hurt even more from my own father. He repeatedly told me I looked fat and that I was going to have to do something about it. I would do little bits of creative stuff here and there, but my heart wasn?t in it anymore. As far as my passion for singing and dancing, it was almost a joke at that point.
What her father did to her: ?Feeling like you?re never good enough is a soul-crushing state of being for a child. He?d drummed that message into me as a girl, and even after I?d accomplished so much, he was continuing to do that to me. I became a robot. But not just a robot ? a sort of child-robot. I had been so infantilized that I was losing pieces of what made me feel like myself. The conservatorship stripped me of my womanhood, made me into a child. I became more of an entity than a person onstage. I had always felt music in my bones and my blood; they stole that from me.
She thinks she would have figured out her life without the conservatorship: ?If they?d let me live my life, I know I would?ve followed my heart and come out of this the right way and worked it out. Thirteen years went by with me feeling like a shadow of myself. I think back now on my father and his associates having control over my body and my money for that long and it makes me feel sick. Think of how many male artists gambled all their money away; how many had substance abuse or mental health issues. No one tried to take away their control over their bodies and money. I didn?t deserve what my family did to me.

I think about that whenever I cover Kanye West, because if we?re using Britney as ?the standard? for who should be in a conservatorship, surely Kanye meets that criteria. But it?s not even mentioned or discussed, mostly because he?s a man. Jamie Spears is such a deeply horrible man too, the way he treated Britney and emotionally abused her and financially abused her. It?s despicable. And Lynn Spears taking her 13-year-old daughter to get daiquiris? Dear god.

The thing about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce is that they can be two things at once: a real relationship in its early days AND an incredibly convenient duel-marketing event at the highest level. There are layers to the cross-promotional aspect of Traylor, but I also believe that Travis and Taylor are genuinely happening and they?re into each other. Still, it?s amazing to watch Taylor?s PR go into overdrive this week, following a weekend full of Traylor photo-ops. Travis came to New York this past weekend, and they went to SNL, they partied with the SNL cast, and they went out to dinner on Sunday too. People?s ?sources? had all kinds of details about Traylor?s Saturday outing:
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were ?so happy? on their PDA-filled date night at the Saturday Night Live afterparty, a source tells PEOPLE. The pop superstar, 33, and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, enjoyed their time together at the afterparty at Catch Steak following the season 49 premiere of SNL on Saturday in New York City.
?Taylor and Travis were there all night and they were so smiley, they were so happy,? the source says. ?They were so talkative. They were really fun. They talked to every single person in the room that talked to them. They were super cool. Super nice, super happy,? the insider adds, noting that Swift and Kelce stayed at the party ?until after 4 a.m.?
The source also says the pair was definitely not shy with each other. At one point in the night, Kelce ?takes both her hands and puts them on his shoulder, so theyre face to face, and then he takes both his hands and grabs her waist. It was very unexpected for his friends, but hes so into her and very, very happy. Last week we talked about Jerry Seinfeld hinting at a Seinfeld reunion during a standup show. Jerry seemed to suggest that some kind of show is in the works that will somehow address the 1998 series finale, which fans and critics were disappointed with. Setting the divisive finale aside, I suggested that the only viable path for this project was making it about Elaine Benes, because Julia Louis-Dreyfus is the classiest, most talented one of the bunch. Oh, and she also hasn?t made an ass of herself like her former costars in the intervening years. Well, Julia was at the London Film Festival this week to promote an indie film Tuesday (that?s the name of the film, not the date of the premiere, and don?t worry it?s all kosher ? SAG-AFTRA gave the film a waiver) and of course she was asked about Jerry?s recent comments. She very succinctly responded: ?I don?t know what the hell he?s talking about.? Nor do any of us, Julia.
Speaking on his standup tour in the US on Saturday, Jerry Seinfeld told a Boston audience he ?has a little secret? about the show, whose 1998 finale was watched by 76 million viewers in the US when it first aired, but whose plot ? the four friends go on trial for wisecracking when a man is mugged in front of them ? proved divisive.
?Something is going to happen that has to do with that ending. It hasn?t happened yet,? Seinfeld said. ?Just what you are thinking about, [co-creator] Larry [David] and I have also been thinking about. So, you?ll see.?
His words triggered heated speculation all week about what form such a show might take. Stars Jason Alexander and Michael Richards are yet to offer comment, but speaking to the Guardian on Wednesday, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who played Elaine Benes on the programme, which ran between 1989 and 1998, professed ignorance about any such endeavour.

Of all the Seinfeld actors, Louis-Dreyfus is the one who appears to need such a return the least. As well as starring in subsequent hit TV shows such as Veep, the actor has won acclaim on the big screen, most notably for her roles in Nicole Holofcener?s cerebral and sensitive comedies Enough Said (2013) and You Hurt My Feelings (2023).
Her latest project further dramatically expands that range. Tuesday, a contemporary fairytale about grief, had its UK premiere at the Lonon film festival earlier this week, picking up considerable Oscar buzz for Louis-Dreyfus?s performance.
She plays a single mother in denial about the terminal illness of her teenage daughter, Tuesday played by Lola Petticrew. When the grim reaper arrives in the form of a massive, talking macaw, both women try to defer the inevitable by bargaining, battling ? and vaping with ? Death.
Critics praised Louis-Dreyfus as ?a revelation? ? particularly in sequences that see her unleashing a primordial energy unfamiliar to regular fans. ?She?s a performer whose radiant ferocity has never been in doubt,? wrote the Hollywood Reporter, ?but until now we haven?t [sic] seen all sides of the prism.?

?Of all the Seinfeld actors, Louis-Dreyfus is the one who appears to need such a return the least.? This is such a quintessentially British, understated way of saying Julia has grown leaps and bounds past the rest of them. I stand by my earlier statement, if they don?t get Julia on board then it?s not worth watching. I?d rather see this new film next year, despite its grim premise, and experience the catharsis of Julia ?unleashing a primordial energy.? Billed as a fantasy-drama, Tuesday kind of sounds like Yorgos Lanthimos meets Ingmar Bergman based on early reviews. Is it likely to make me howl with laughter like Veep? No (my notorious history of laughing at horror films notwithstanding). Will I still tune in to see Julia play chess against a tall, talking, macaw-embodied Death? Definitely.

Before the snake fam even got the chance to process Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift?s surprise Saturday night outing, Traylor was out again on Sunday night. They hit up the Waverly Inn after Travis attended his brother?s game (the Eagles, Jason Kelce?s team, lost). Taylor?s outfit here isn?t my favorite thing ever, but it?s also got a ?90s vibe which I sort of appreciate.
There?s a lot of gossip reporting about Traylor?s two nights in New York. Reportedly, they were making out in the middle of the SNL afterparty for hours. They also looked ?in love? and like they weren?t even paying attention to anyone else (except Ice Spice).
Taylor and Travis looked very comfortable and happy together. They were kissing openly and weren?t shy with their PDA. When Taylor first arrived, she spent time with Ice Spice and Ice Spice?s friends, the source says.
Another source adds that the pair appeared to be the real deal, and that they didnt hold back when it came to being affectionate.
They were holding hands throughout the night, whispering into each others ear, and they even exchanged some kisses, says the source, who added it wasnt like they were making out, just sweet moments like hed kiss her on her head.
The source added that Kelce was also protective of Swift. At one point, he actually told her security guard that he could step aside, like hed take it from here, the source says.

I?ve already seen some videos where it looks like Travis is having a hard time negotiating Taylor?s security, especially when they?re getting in and out of cars. I think it?s great that he?s protective of her and he thinks he?s got it covered, but Taylor needs to sit down with him and tell him that he needs to let her security do their jobs and theres a reason why she has such a big security detail. Still, it?s also possible that Travis knows what makes a good photo, and he didn?t want Taylor?s security guys in the frame!

Oh, here we go. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were out in New York last night they made surprise appearances on SNL (which Ill cover tomorrow) and then they went to the SNL afterparty at Catch Steak, where they held hands, etc. The Swifties are calling this Traylors hard launch. Like, its been a hard launch for weeks! But I appreciate that we now have photos of them together. He seemed very protective of her! Apparently, they plan to attend the Eagles game tonight (to see Traviss brother play).
Meanwhile, in the first weekend in October, Travis Kelce was in New York ahead of the Chiefs playing the Jets. He came to New York a few days ahead of the game, and he was seen going into Taylor Swift?s apartment building that Saturday night (the night before his game) and leaving the next morning. We can also sort of assume that when Taylor went to Kansas City to see her first Chiefs game, she spent some time with Travis in his surroundings, although we don?t know if she went to his house that weekend. I mean, maybe she stayed at a hotel? Who knows though. Well, Tay was back in Kansas City on Thursday and she went to the Chiefs game. She decided not to stay at a hotel, I guess. The Kansas City paparazzi claim that Taylor spent the night with Travis at his mansion.
Taylor Swift appears to have crashed at Travis Kelce?s home in Kansas City, Mo., Thursday night after cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs star in his game against the Denver Broncos earlier in the evening.
Photos obtained by the Daily Mail show the pop superstar?s security vehicle parked outside of the NFL star?s $1 million property early Friday morning.
According to the outlet, the white SUV is the same car that was spotted picking up Swift, 33, from the airport.
Reps did not immediately return Page Six?s request for comment.
Swift arrived in Kansas City early Thursday to make her way to Arrowhead Stadium for Thursday Night Football.

If you go to that Page Six link, you can see Travis?s $1 million Kansas City home, which is honestly lovely. It has great curb appeal and I bet the interior is really nice too. That home would probably be $8-10 million in LA. One of the photo agencies had photos of Taylor?s security in Travis?s neighborhood, which brings up something weird I guess he doesn?t live in a gated community? I mean, yes, it?s Kansas City, but it?s amazing that people really don?t bother him or come up to his house.
Anyway, it?s sort of like ?two 30-somethings spend the night together, news at seven.? I get that. But Taylor?s parasocial relationship with her fans means that I?m sure there are Swifty Puriteens crying about how Taylor would never have sex with a jock. To those Puriteens, let me say this: I bet it was really good too. That man looks like he knows how to lay some pipe. Taylor wouldn?t be hard-launching this thing if the pipe wasn?t good as hell.
