She has repeatedly described herself as a homebody, and whenever we do see her out in public, it?s at a Hollywood event or a fashion show (repping her Louis Vuitton brand ambassador contract) and she?s almost always with Joe at those events. We have tons of photos of celebrities falling out of clubs she?s never in those pics. Page Six picked up on Team Jonas?s dirty work by going through Sophie?s social media to find a few pics of her drinking beer, like that?s evidence of her ?partying.? Page Six is also laying it on thick that Joe had no choice but to divorce Sophie because she wouldn?t agree to be his tradwife.
Joe Jonas tried to ?salvage? his four-year marriage to Sophie Turner before filing for divorce Tuesday, a source close to the family tells Page Six exclusively.
?Divorce was a last resort for Joe. He never wanted to break up his family, but he had to take what he felt was the best course of action for his girls,? the insider says, further giving insight into the demise of their relationship.
?An unhappy home isn?t a home, and the truth is that he and Sophie were going through it this year. There?s a lot of noise out there, but it wasn?t a straw-that-broke-the-camel?s-back situation like it?s being reported.? The insider adds the estranged couple, who tied the knot in May 2019, had ?many disagreements.?

My take is still: they welcomed their second baby last year and afterwards, Sophie was eager to get back to work and (it sounds like) socialize a bit after having two babies in quick succession. It really does feel like Joe is throwing a tantrum over Sophie refusing to stay home and raise their daughters full time. But we?ll see. Joe Jonas filing for divorce from Sophie Turner on Tuesday did not come as a surprise to the people around them, as they spent the whole summer apart, according to a source who knows the couple.
They were not separated but theyve been living separate lives for months, the source said.
The filing comes days after PEOPLE reported Jonas, 34, had retained a divorce lawyer despite continuing to wear his wedding band. According to the source, Jonas and Turner, 27, havent gotten along in a while, but theyre hoping to resolve this all amicably.
As far as custody goes, this literally all just happened, so theyre figuring it out in real time, the source says. They did have a prenup. As a family, they were based in Florida. The kids were with him the last few months, traveling with him with family while hes been on tour. Sophies been working in the UK.
Jonas claims in his divorce papers that the couples two daughters have been living with him as of late.

Some commenters mentioned the fact that Sophie has been in the UK this summer, filming an ITV miniseries called Joan. It?s true there are photos from the location shoot. It feels like Sophie went back to England to work, she left the kids with Joe for a few months (she?s reportedly flown back to the US several times) while she?s working. Welp, Joe Jonas has officially filed for divorce from Sophie Turner. We got a little preview during the Labor Day weekend, when Joe?s people briefed TMZ and People Magazine with the news that he had met with divorce lawyers and hired one of them. TMZ?s story was dripping with casual misogyny about Sophie not having a lot going on career-wise (she had two babies in three years) and something about Joe looking after their kids while he was on tour. TMZ also broke the ?he filed for divorce? story, and they added some new layers:
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are headed to divorce court, because TMZ has learned Joe has filed legal docs to end his marriage. Joe is asking for joint custody of their 2 daughters, 3-year-old Willa and their 1-year-old.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ Joe and Sophie have a prenup something Joe also addresses in his divorce docs, obtained by TMZ. Theres more in here as it pertains to their kids including the fact that Joe wants a judge to establish a parenting plan between him and Sophie that allows for frequent and continuing contact with both parties.
Another interesting tidbit in his petition Joe confirms what weve known since this weekend namely, that the two children have been residing with him of late. Here in the docs, though, he makes sure to note where Miami, as well as other locations throughout the United States. In other words, hes been taking them with him on the road as hes toured.
The issue of child support is also addressed in Joes docs he says both parents can pay to support their children and that they should both be required to do so. With that said, JJ wants a Florida court to establish whats fair and to take health insurance for the kids into consideration in determining that.
TMZ broke the story the couple has been having problems for around 6 months. Joe has been shopping for divorce lawyers for at least a week. He filed in Florida. Hes repped by Tom Sasser, who handled Tiger Woods divorce.
As for why Joe filed for divorce a source with direct knowledge tells us this She likes to party, he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles.
As we reported, Joe has been taking care of the children pretty much all of the time over the last 3 months. When it comes time to hash out a custody arrangement, he could ask for significantly more than 50% physical custody, and our sources say thats likely.

As soon as Sophie went back to work, started hanging out with friends and enjoying herself without him, suddenly Joe wanted a divorce. I mean, that?s just my interpretation maybe Sophie has been out partying (there have been zero photos of that) and maybe she?s not a super-engaged mother. But this framing feels so dirty to me and I feel sorry for Sophie, because no matter what, he?s trying to paint her as a bad mother from the very start of this divorce.

This Joe Jonas-Sophie Turner story is so weird. TMZ got the ball rolling during the Labor Day weekend, a time when celebrities would dump their bad news and hope that people aren?t paying attention. But TMZ?s report wasn?t ?Joe and Sophie are definitely over and he?s filed for divorce.? It was more like: Joe has been meeting with divorce lawyers, he?s mad about taking care of his children, Sophie isn?t around?? Like, was this a real split announcement or was this a warning shot from Joe to Sophie? It does feel more like things are unsettled between them but that it?s not completely broken. In a series of photos posted by Pop Crave on Twitter, now known as X, Jonas? gold wedding band could be clearly seen on his left hand as he performed on stage at the Moody Center.
A source confirmed the news of Jonas retaining a divorce lawyer to PEOPLE on Saturday.
Jonas was pictured without his wedding ring on Aug. 11 while picking up an iced coffee in New York City.

People are mad at me for supporting Christine Baumgartner in her divorce drama with Kevin Costner! I get it, Christine comes across as somewhat ridiculous in much of the coverage. But I am on her side it?s clear that Costner was financially abusing her for years, all to keep her entirely dependent on him. Now that she?s broken free, he?s doing what all abusers do: punishing her, humiliating her and nickel-and-diming her. You also have to remember that part of the reason why Christine looks ridiculous in the coverage is because Costner has a world-class PR team and crisis management team, because he learned from what happened during his first divorce. In any case, Christine and Kevin were in court last week for a child support hearing. Christine wanted the court to order Costner to pay roughly $168K a month in child support. He countered with an offer of $60K a month and he told Christine to get a job. The judge agreed with him. Christine is getting hosed by this judge, ISTG.
Kevin Costner just found out how big of a check he has to cut to his estranged wife Christine Baumgartner each month for child support and hes going to be happy. The judge in Kevin and Christines divorce ruled Friday that Kevins going to be forking over $63,209 thats exactly what he said was appropriate. $63k is less than half of what she was getting in temporary support $129k. And remember, she originally asked for $248k a month.
During Fridays hearing, Kevin took the stand and answered some questions from his lawyer, Disso Queen Laura Wasser, saying Somehow in this unusual world we didnt make it and Im sorry. Kevin said his biggest concern going into the relationship with Christine was having kids and getting divorced because he had 3 kids with his first wife and got divorced. Kevin and Christine ended up having 3 kids and getting divorced too.
Remember Christine originally asked for $248,000 a month in child support, but Kevin claimed she was padding the bill simply because he could afford it with Costner claiming the actual amount she needs for their kids is around $51k a month. In the end, the judge went closer to Kevins figure.
The actors testimony also featured Kevin saying he wanted to pass his properties down to his kids and he said, I dont hide money from my wife.

So she?s going to have to ?make do? with the $1 million she got from the prenup, plus the $63K a month in child support and that?s it. Ten bucks says this judge will tell her that she has to pay for her lawyers and Kevin?s lawyers too.

An underrated indicator that a couple is headed for divorce: when a tall wife stops caring about her shorter husband?s feelings and starts wearing high heels around him. I apologize to all of the short kings out there, but it?s true. In every photo of Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas in the past year, she?s wearing sky-high heels and towering over him in photos. The marriage was doomed! Sophie and Joe have been together since 2016 she was 20 years old at the time and starring in one of the biggest shows in the world. Joe was a 27 year old pop star at the time. I honestly thought Sophie was way too young to jump into a serious relationship/marriage at that point, but they did get married (in 2019) and they had two children in 2020 and 2022. It sounds like the marriage kind of fell apart soon after they welcomed their second kid.

And they recently sold their Miami mansion. They bought that place just a year ago and sold it fairly quickly, for a decent profit.
Joe and Sophie first linked up in 2016 and got engaged a year later. In 2019, they were married Vegas-style and have been living the family life ever since quickly welcoming their first kid in 2020 and another in 2022. A lot has happened for them in 4 years.
Professionally, Joe and Sophie have been busy mostly JJ, though. Hes gone on tour with his brothers recently and is scheduled to perform through the winter. Sophies done some TV/movie stuff in recent years but isnt nearly as active as she was during her GoT days.

It honestly took me a good ten minutes to figure out what the hell was happening here. But now I get it Hailey has done a ?collaboration? with Krispy Kreme and her Rhode label. Basically, Hailey is offering Rhode peptide lip treatments in Krispy Kreme flavors, and Krispy Kreme is bringing back Strawberry Glazed Donuts in association with their Rhode collab. Truly, we all win here.
So, these photos are of HAILEY and Justin BIEBER going into a Krispy Kreme in New York and just? talking with staff and posing for photos. Hailey was all dolled up in a great red (?strawberry?) minidress, while Justin wore Crocs, shorts, a hoodie and a baseball cap. He really made a point of not dressing up for her event, although he did promote her sh-t on his Instagram. Are you getting some kind of vibe from them? The vibe I get from her is that she?s increasingly embarrassed to be seen with her perpetually underdressed husband. After the trip to Krispy Kreme, they went to lunch at Bar Pitti. She booked it out of the restaurant too, like they had a fight.

Back in the day, Angelina Jolie loved being in London, and she did a lot of work there. She was made a Dame by QEII for her work with refugees and survivors of sexual violence. Dolly Parton has revealed the hilarious reason why she turned down an invitation for tea with the Princess of Wales. The country singer, 77, explained she received the coveted invitation from Kate Middleton, 41, whilst she was in London for work.
Whilst sharing her love of the capital, the Jolene singer admitted she almost brushed shoulders with the residents of Buckingham Palace, but unfortunately couldnt go.
Dolly said during an appearance on BBC Radio 2: This time, Lordy, I even got invited to have tea with Kate but I couldnt even go. I thought it was very sweet and nice of her to invite me and one of these days Im going to get to do that ? that would be great.
Then, in true Dolly Parton style, she cracked a joke as to what made her decline Kates invite. She said: But she wasnt going to promote my rock album so I had to say no.

Ariana Grande?s team were reportedly unhappy with Scooter Braun after he allegedly refused to cut his vacation short and help tackle the media storm surrounding her rumoured relationship with Wicked costar Ethan Slater.
Grande is among the music stars to have reportedly cut ties with the music manager in recent months. The Independent understands that Demi Lovato and Frozen star Idina Menzel have parted ways with Braun?s SB Projects, while Justin Bieber is also reportedly seeking legal advice to end his contract with the mega-manager. So far none of the artists have responded publicly to the reports. Braun appeared to mock the rumours earlier this week by joking that he was ?no longer managing himself?.
In a new report on Friday (25 August), Puck writer Matthew Belloni, who first reported news of Grande?s exit, claimed that tensions with the ?thank u, next? singer were amplified by Braun?s reaction to her relationship controversy earlier this year.
In his report, Belloni writes that Grande?s team wanted Braun to fly from his holiday in Europe to New York in order to help quell the media furore, which he reportedly refused to do.
?I deserve a vacation,? Braun is said to have told Grande?s team, according to Belloni?s sources.

Ariana fked up her PR and instead of working with the managers Braun put in place at SB Projects, Ariana threw a tantrum that a billionaire CEO wouldn?t cut off his vacation just to rescue her from her self-made catastrophe? Yeah, I?m on Braun?s side here. It?s not like he?s the Ariana-whisperer either she?s 30 years old, she has her own dedicated team PLUS the SB Projects team. That?s easily 20 people, all of whom could have helped crisis-manage this situation. It?s actually insane that she wanted Braun to cut off his vacation for THAT.
