Nicole Kidman, like Angelina Jolie, might not be seen for the rest of the awards season. Nicole also got ?snubbed? for SAG, BAFTA and Oscar nominations, so the Critics Choice Awards were possibly the last time we?d see her. What a final appearance though she wore a fresh-off-the-runway look from Saint Laurent, a baggy pantsuit basically. My first reaction was ?nah?? But it?s grown on me, and now I sort of love that she mixed it up. Her hair and makeup look great here as well.
Zoe Saldana also wore Saint Laurent, but we?ll be seeing more of her throughout the season. Zoe picked up the Critics Choice Award for supporting actress for Emilia Perez. The votes were mostly cast before Karla Sofia Gascon?s tweet-history mess, and this is one category which I could see a major ?surprise? come Oscar night. As for her dress? it?s fine. It?s not actively bad. It does feel like a lot of women sort of phoned it in, style-wise, at the CCAs.
Naomi Watts wore one of the most hilariously bad looks I?ve ever seen from her. This is Prada, and at least it was ?on trend? a lot of women are wearing super-structural gowns and dresses right now, especially with this kind of terrible business around the waist and hips.
Monica Barbaro also wore Prada a custom piece. It?s fine for the CCAs.

I fully admit that I have never ?gotten? Schiaparelli. I?m missing that gene, I guess. At the Grammys, one of the few ?fashion conversations? was Beyonce?s ill-fitting Schiaparelli dress it was a custom piece, and you would have thought that meant that it would fit her like a glove. It did not. She was scared of popping out of it all night, and her underwire was exposed in many of the photos. It should have been an even bigger conversation, that Schiaparelli can?t be trusted to provide good looks for women at awards shows. But women are still trusting this couture house. Well, Demi Moore wore Schiaparelli to the Critics Choice Awards and once again, I?m asking WHY? Why do this to your bust, ladies? Why wear such unflattering, ill-fitting pieces? Anyway, Demi won the Best Actress Award, and given the mess with Karla Sofia Gascon (who did not attend the CC), I think it?s safe to say that Demi is a massive front-runner in this Oscar race.
Marianne Jean Baptiste wore Oscar de la Renta. I love this. It?s age-appropriate but it still feels fresh and youthful. It reminds me of something Jill Biden would wear. Marianne was one of several women who were notably ?snubbed? for a Best Actress Oscar nom.
Kathryn Hahn in Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2025. LMAO. She looks like she?s wearing a deconstructed black swan costume.
Sarah Michelle Gellar also wore Oscar de la Renta I like this? We see her so rarely at these awards shows, it?s a nice treat. She just turned up in a relatively ?simple? black dress, really.
Leighton Meester & Adam Brody both wore Dior. Adam won a Critics Choice Award and Leighton was really emotional about it! They seem really solid. I?m fine with her dress, but the bangs are killing my soul.

Here are some photos from Friday night?s Critics Choice Awards. This will probably be Angelna Jolie?s final appearance during the awards season, unless she?s invited to present at the SAGs or Oscars, I guess. You never know she is a two-time Oscar winner already, so it?s more than possible that the Academy would invite her to be a presenter. Anyway, Angelina did not leave the awards season with a bang. She chose this peachy-beige-tea-rose lace Elie Saab Spring 2025 gown which? eh. I?m mad at the color, I?m mad at her hair these days. But overall, I?m happy that it wasn?t a sack dress and it also feels like she?s been venturing out of her comfort zone here and there. It ended up being an okay night for Jolie that POS Chelsea Handler didn?t even say her name, and Demi Moore went over and hugged Angelina when Demi won Best Actress. It feels like Angelina has made some new friendships during this season.
Michelle Yeoh kind of disappointed me too? She wore this absolutely terrible Balenciaga look. Her hair also looked? not-great. She has great hair too, but it?s too ?flat? and lifeless here.
Lupita Nyongo was one of several women wearing Chanel. I, uh, don?t think Lupita got the best Chanel look, honestly. She?s always beautiful, but this is a minidress with black tulle and it looks like a homemade fashion project.
Margaret Qualley in Chanel she?s been wearing Chanel throughout the awards season, and she has a good Chanel contract. I actually sort of like this? It?s more flowy and romantic than I would normally associate with Chanel.
Jodie Foster in Chanel the dress is super-conservative and very ?Jodie,? but can I just say? I love her hair these days. That choppy bob is killer and I love the subtle grey streaks. Her colorist is doing a great job.

| | Gisele Bundchen welcomed a baby boy, and his middle name is River | | Added 364 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Gisele Bundchen apparently welcomed her third child at some point recently, my guess is that she gave birth about a week ago? TMZ announced that she had given birth, but there were no details on the gender or name. Until now! People Magazine says that she welcomed a baby boy, and they have a tip about the kid?s middle name.
Gisele Bndchen is a boy mom again! The Brazilian supermodel, 44, welcomed a baby boy with her boyfriend Joaquim Valente, a source tells PEOPLE, adding that one part of his name has a sweet nod to nature. Although his first name is still unknown, the insider shares that his middle name is River.
Bndchens sons moniker continues her sweet tradition of her kids having water-themed middle names ? she is also mom to daughter Vivian Lake, 12, and son Benjamin Rein, 15, who she shares with ex Tom Brady.
[From People]
I totally forgot about the water references for her children?s middle names. Honestly, years later, Vivian Lake Brady is a really nice name, and so is Benjamin Rein. I wonder if this third kid?s name will be Anglo. Brazilian mother, Brazilian father, I could see them going with a Brazilian/Portuguese first name. Let me look up popular Brazilian boy names? Carlos, I could see. Gabriel, I could see that. Afonso? Bernardo? Joao? Benecio? A lot of names will sound good with Valente, although we don?t know if this kid will get his father?s surname. This kid might be a Bundchen.
Meanwhile, I was wondering about Tom Brady, and Page Six ran an exclusive about his reaction to Gisele?s new baby. A source says that Tom is ?happy? for Gisele and ?wishes her nothing but the best.? An insider says that Tom ?reached out to Bndchen to congratulate her.? I mean? they share custody of Benjamin and Vivian. It would be weird if they weren?t in communication. Tom might have even stopped by to see the baby when he was picking up the kids, you never know.

| | A Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot starring Sarah Michelle Gellar is in talks with Hulu | | Added 365 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Today in ?OMG you guys? news, there?s a Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot in the works?and it?s probably going to star Sarah Michelle Gellar. Right now, the reboot is still in the early pre-production stage, but a pilot is being written for Hulu by Poker Face showrunners Nora and Lilla Zuckerman, with Chlo Zhao directing the pilot, which Hulu is likely to order. After years of saying, thanks but no thanks to the idea of a potential reboot, SMG changed her mind after guest starring on an episode of Dexter: Original Sin. Thankfully, Joss Whedon has no involvement in the reboot.
More than two decades after Buffy the Vampire Slayer ended its seven-season run, the beloved supernatural drama is eyeing a revival with a new chapter in the franchise. A followup series is nearing a pilot order from Hulu, with Sarah Michelle Gellar expected to star, reprising her signature role as Buffy Summers, sources said. Oscar winner Chlo Zhao, a self-professed lifelong Buffy fan, is set to direct the pilot, written by Nora and Lilla Zuckerman (Poker Face).
The reboot hails from Buffy the Vampire Slayer studio 20th Television and Disney sibling Searchlight TV where Zhao has been under a first-look deal. Beyond the pilot order, I hear the reboot is starting a writers room soon, a sign that Hulu and the studios have high expectations for the project going to series. It is unclear yet whether other original Buffy cast members would return; that is considered likely.
Described as the next chapter in the Buffyverse, the new incarnation is executive produced by Gellar, Zhao, Nora and Lilla Zuckerman as well as the original series? executive producers Gail Berman of the Jackal Group and Fran Kuzui & Kaz Kuzui via Suite B. Also executive producing the pilot is Dolly Parton whose company Sandollar was producer on the original.
Buffy creator Joss Whedon, who also wrote the 1992 movie the series was based on, has no involvement in the reboot. He has not worked in Hollywood in any official capacity since facing a slew of misconduct allegations in 2021.
If the Hulu pilot goes to series, it would be the third in the franchise, following mothership Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which aired on the WB for five seasons from 1997-2001 before dramatically moving to UPN for two more, and spinoff Angel, which ran on the WB for five seasons (1999-2004).
Berman, Fran Kazui and Kaz Kazui previously teamed up with 20th TV in 2018 for a potential Buffy The Vampire Slayer reboot written by Midnight, Texas creator Monica Owusu-Breen, on which Whedon was an executive producer. That project, whose lead was envisioned as a Black woman, didn?t move forward. Still, fans of the show have continued to lobby for a revival, their hopes fueled by a couple of high profile cast reunions.
Parton indicated a year ago that a Buffy return was still in the works, saying in an interview that ?They?re still working on that. They?re thinking about bringing it back and revamping it.?
Gellar, who had been opposed to revisiting Buffy as recently as 2023, expressed openness to the idea in a December interview promoting her latest series, Dexter prequel series Original Sin, on which she is a special guest star.
?It?s funny, I always used to say no, because it?s in its bubble and it?s so perfect,? she said. ?But watching Sex and the City and seeing Dexter, and realizing there are ways to do it, definitely does get your mind thinking, ?Well, maybe.??
As to whether a potential Buffy revisit has to be a prequel, she said, ?No, it could be anything. It?s a universe. And it makes you realize that in this world, we need those heroes, I think, more so than ever.?
According to sources, negotiations with Gellar for the Buffy reboot had started when she made the comments. Those negotiations are now in their final stages.
[From Deadline]
So, thoughts on a Buffy reboot? I?m undecided. On the one hand, how do you say no to more Buffy? But, on the other hand, do we really need it? Reboots can be so hit or miss, that I?d be afraid that it would take the X-Files route vs. the Karate Kid (Cobra Kai) route. Sarah Michelle is right that the OG series is in its own perfect little bubble, so why mess with it? That said, I am a big fan of Zhao and the Zuckerman sisters? work, which puts me back into the more optimistic category. I don?t know! I am very glad, however, that Whedon won?t be involved in any capacity because f-ck that guy. I bet his absence is also a big part as to why Sarah Michelle agreed to do it.
Off the top of my head, these are the franchise reboots that are in the works: The Office, Practical Magic, The Princess Diaries, Suits, and The X-Files again. And thats not even counting the reboots that have already begun airing. Oh boy, I wonder what we?ll revisit next.

Last October, we heard the surprising news: Gisele Bundchen was expecting her third child, first with her boyfriend Joaquim Valente. Joaquim was Gisele?s jiu-jitsu trainer and friend, then their relationship turned romantic during or after Gisele?s divorce from Tom Brady. Most people thought Joaquim was a shoulder to cry on, the first boyfriend as she transitioned out of her marriage. But it turned into something else, and now they?ve welcomed their baby.
Gisele Bndchen is a mom again! The Brazilian supermodel, 44, has welcomed her third baby, her first with boyfriend Joaquim Valente, TMZ has reported.
No further details ? including the sex and name of the baby ? are known yet.
Bndchen is already mom to daughter Vivian, 12, and son Benjamin, 15, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Brady, 47.
After news broke that Bndchen was expecting again, a source close to the model exclusively told PEOPLE that she was ?excited to embrace this new chapter openly.? Bndchen ?received many positive messages and congratulations,? said the insider, adding that she ?wanted to keep it private for as long as she could, doing so was starting to be a challenge.?
Bndchen has been dating Valente, a Jiu-Jitsu instructor, since June 2023.
[From People]
TMZ?s sources say that Gisele is ?super happy? and ?mom and the baby are healthy. Its unclear when the new bundle arrived but were told it was recently.? So? she got pregnant last April? I?m just working through the timeline. I mean, I think this was probably a surprise baby given her age, but surprise doesn?t mean ?unwanted.? I?m sure she?ll enjoy this the third time around, and I wonder how Vivian and Benjamin are doing. I also wonder how Tom is doing, even though this is really a case of FAFO for him.

| | Angelina Jolie did 'quiet luxury' at the Santa Barbara Film Festival: love it or hate it' | | Added 365 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

As the Karla Sofia Gascon catastrophe unfolded in the past two weeks, my anger towards Netflix grew. Netflix should absolutely regret putting so much money and effort behind Emilia Perez and not Maria. We could have had Angelina Jolie at every awards show if Netflix had supported her the same way they supported Gascon. But here we are Jolie was snubbed for Bafta, SAG and Oscar nominations. But she has still been receiving awards at film festivals and various events over the past four months or so. Last night, Jolie was in Santa Barbara for the 40th Santa Barbara International Film Festival. She received the Maltin Modern Master Award. She walked the carpet and took part in a career-retrospective Q&A session with Leonard Maltin.
Style-wise, Jolie?s look was sort of a meh/mixed bag. I?m so tired of this washed-out blonde color and I?m dying for her to go back to a strong brunette. On the plus side, at least she didn?t have those assy bangs front and center. She wore a silky cream slipdress (with pockets!) and a matching jacket. I?m not wild about it because it feels sack-dress-adjacent, but it?s far from her worst look. British Vogue even said this was Angelina doing the ?quiet luxury? trend.
Meanwhile, this week there were some absolutely bizarre rumors about Angelina and her humanitarian work. The backstory is idiotic and awful Donald Trump has basically shut down USAID (America?s foreign aid) and now Russian and MAGA people are spreading lies about how USAID was handing eight-figure checks to celebrities to ?support? Ukraine. They?re claiming that the American government paid Angelina $40 million to support humanitarian effort in Ukraine or something like that. It didn?t happen, none of it. Angelina has always paid out of pocket to support refugees and do her international work.

After months of rumors about their marriage being on the rocks, Lily Allen and David Harbour confirmed earlier this week that they?ve separated. David and Lily got together after meeting on the exclusive dating app Raya in early 2019 and got married in Las Vegas in September 2020. Over the past few months, there?s been rumors that they were having problems because Lily caught David cheating or that Lily had relapsed. Lily addressed that gossip on a recent episode of her podcast, Miss Me?, saying it wasn?t true. She didn?t do much to quell rumors of a split, though, when she admitted that she?s was not in a good place and felt herself spiraling. And now we have confirmation thanks to a People exclusive.
Lily Allen and David Harbour are calling it quits. The Smile singer, 39, and the Stranger Things actor, 49, have separated after four years of marriage, multiple sources confirm to PEOPLE.
Her marriage has been crumbling, an insider tells PEOPLE exclusively, and they have split.
Reps for Allen and Harbour did not immediately respond to PEOPLEs request for comment.
Allen ? who married Harbour in 2020 after meeting on the celebrity dating app Raya ? alluded to a recent tough time on the Dec. 16 episode of her BBC podcast Miss Me? with co-host Miquita Oliver.
Though Allen did not offer additional details as to the source of her trouble, she said it was affecting her mental health and causing her problems with her eating.
[From People]
According to an ?insider,? Lily is ?devastated and not in a good place? and that the separation has been ?very hard? for both her and her two daughters, Ethel Mary, 13 and Marnie Rose, 12, who were close with David. I know Lily can be problematic as hell, but I do feel for her and I kinda liked them together. She seemed to really love David and whatever the ultimate cause of their split was, I bet she felt they could work it out. I also truly feel for Ethel and Mary. If they were as close with David as we?ve heard they were, then they must be going through a tough time right now. I hope Lily can keep herself together emotionally to be there for them. I am also certain that this is only the beginning of these types of exclusives and we?ll totally find out what went down sooner rather than later.

| | Blake Lively did not get a gag order on Justin Baldoni & his lawyers | | Added 367 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
|
Over the weekend, Justin Baldoni and his lawyers launched the much-anticipated website. For weeks, they?d promised to publish all of the communications between Baldoni and Blake Lively, and relevant communications around the film. I have not gone through all of the documentation Baldoni has provided, but I?ve seen the coverage lots of texts from Blake which definitely chip away at her claims that Baldoni was being overly familiar or inappropriately flirty with her. Baldoni also included at least one text from Ryan Reynolds. You can see the website here.
On Monday, Blake?s lawyers and Baldoni?s lawyers were in court for another hearing. Top of Blake?s agenda was getting a gag order on Baldoni and his lawyers. She didn?t get that, but the judge did warn both sides to stop with the pre-trial PR war, and the judge also threatened to expedite the trial if both sides didn?t shut up.
A New York judge cautioned Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni?s lawyers not to litigate their legal battle in the press as the two sides faced off in court for the first time since their clients sued each other. Lively, 37, is accusing her It Ends With Us costar and director Baldoni, 41, and others of damaging her reputation in the press after she reported sexual harassment on set. In turn, Baldoni has filed defamation lawsuits against her, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and The New York Times. His lawyer, Bryan Freedman, is also running a PR campaign to fight back against her claims.
Livelys lawyers attempted to limit Freedman, asking the judge to stop him from speaking to the press in ways that could influence the jury. They also expressed worries about a website Baldoni and his team recently launched in an apparent attempt to bolster his accusations against Lively.
At the Monday, Feb. 3 pretrial conference at United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Judge Lewis Liman addressed the issue. He threatened to expedite the trial if the parties do not rein in the public relations war outside the courtroom. The judge also instructed both parties to comply with the New York Rules of Professional Conduct, which prohibit attorneys from making comments that could have a substantial likelihood of biasing a jury.
Freedman said his ?clients are devastated financially and emotionally.? The It Ends With Us actors are preparing to head to trial in March 2026.
Michael Gottlieb and Esra Hudson, attorneys for Lively, said in a statement, ?We are pleased with the result of today?s hearing and eager to move forward immediately with discovery in this case. The court granted our request that all attorneys in the matter actually follow the rule of law and not make any statements that could prejudice a jury, they continued. This case deals with serious allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation. We will hold the defendants accountable, and we are confident that once all the evidence is submitted in this matter, Ms. Lively will prevail.
Freedman told reporters outside court, according to The Hollywood Reporter, ?I couldn?t be more pleased with how the case was handled today. We?re going to move as quickly as possible and prove our innocence.
[From People]
Blake?s side is trying to put a happy face on the fact that they didn?t get what they wanted, a gag order on Baldoni and his lawyers. They also didn?t get Baldoni?s website shut down, although who knows, that might work in their favor (it doesn?t seem like many people are willing to dive into all of the documentation and annotated legal filings). To celebrate the lack of gag orders on either side, Blake?s team ran to People Magazine with another exclusive. A ?source close to Lively? told People that ?Blake is surprisingly calm and just tries to focus on family life. Shes in constant contact with her team. She sees the whole lawsuit drama as a necessary bump, but shes not letting it take away from her main focus, which is her children.?

| | Sharon Stone on having a stroke: don't ask your friends what to do, call 911 | | Added 367 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
Sharon Stone had a devastating stroke in 2001 that completely altered the trajectory of her life. She references the stroke a lot, I think because A) it was, to quote our dearly missed president, ?a big f?king deal,? and B) because she doesn?t want it to happen to you. Sharon just hosted the American Heart Association Red Dress Collection Concert last week, and once again she took the time to describe what she came back from, reiterating that ?I can do it, and I made it, and you can too.? One thing she said in particular that should definitely be amplified, is the reminder that if you?re experiencing any symptoms (like numbness, especially on one side of the body, confusion, difficulty speaking or understanding words), get yourself to a hospital ASAP. Do not wait or hesitate!
?I walked out of that hospital, unable to write my own name,? Stone, 66, tells PEOPLE exclusively while hosting the American Heart Association (AHA) Red Dress Collection Concert on Jan. 30. She said following the stroke, she was ?unable to remember anything.?
And yet, the Basic Instinct star tells PEOPLE, ?I?m right here hosting this ball on two feet in five-inch heels, and I can do it, and I made it, and you can too.?
After a ruptured vertebral artery bled into her brain for nine days, Stone says there weren?t rehabilitation programs that could help.
?When it happened to me, there wasn?t a program that would help me walk again. There wasn?t a program that would stop my suffering,? Stone explains. ?There wasn?t any aftercare, and certainly, insurance companies are f?king us right and left, and there wasn?t any insurance to help me. There wasn?t anything. And I?m sure that there?s probably even less now.?
Her situation was made worse by a turbulent personal life, as her husband Phil Bronstein divorced her during her recovery.
But the Casino alum said she wants people to know they can ? and should ? fight to survive: ?I want to say to people, ?You can do it.? And I want them to look at me and know, [I had] a husband that was divorcing me, with everybody fighting to take everything, with the bank, who had taken $18 million all my life savings. I had nothing. I had no money. No career.?
?I was destitute with a 1% chance of surviving,? Stone, who calls herself a ?proud survivor,? tells PEOPLE.
The Emmy winner urges people to pay attention to stroke symptoms and to advocate for themselves, warning, ?If your face starts to fall in any way or has numbness, if your arm feels strange or numb in any way, if your speech is weird, or you say something and it?s not what you were trying to say, or your speech is slurred ? you have no time, call an ambulance.?
?Don?t ask your friends. Don?t ask your husband or someone else, ?What do you think I should do?? 911, no questions asked,? Stone continues. ?I called people. They hung up on me, left me on the floor, didn?t help me. I was alone for three days on the floor.?
?Get an ambulance and get to the hospital. Walk into oncoming traffic and wave your arms,? she says. ?Do not hesitate.?
[From People]
Divorcing your spouse who?s in intense recovery from a stroke is so despicable, this one sentence is the only time I?ll waste on him. I applaud Sharon for raising awareness through her own, hard fought experience, because the advice she shares will be news to someone. The Cleveland Clinic gives the same warning to call 911 immediately. If you?re worried someone is having a stroke in your presence, run through the BE FAST acronym, gauging the person?s facility with Balance, Eyes-Face-Arms movement, Speech, and noting the Time symptoms started. (I?m linking to Cleveland Clinic?s stroke page here, which has more details on how to do BE FAST tests.) I would add that for any suspected head injury, not just stroke, you should go to the doctor immediately. I?ll never forget the lovely Natasha Richardson falling while skiing, but politely declining treatment because she said she felt fine. By the time she felt a headache and finally agreed to go to the hospital, it was too late.
So that?s my PSA courtesy of Sharon Stone with a cameo from the gone-too-soon Natasha Richardson. Now pass it on! (Though maybe not the bit about walking into oncoming traffic; that could end badly.)
