Taylor Swift?s Eras Tour was the biggest concert tour of all time. The tour took Taylor into the stratosphere, and she was already arguably one of the most powerful pop stars of all time. Eras was its own economy, and each tour stop brought in tons of revenue not only for Taylor, but for the cities hosting her. Taylor already put together a concert-documentary which was (obvs) wildly successful as well. But now she?s got the behind-the-scenes docuseries about everything that went into making the two-year extravaganza of the Eras Tour. It?s called The End of an Era, and the series began airing on Disney Plus on December 12. Here?s the trailer:
My favorite parts of the trailer: seeing a blink-and-you?ll-miss-them glimpse of Taylor?s kitties (she has three); seeing Travis Kelce and his respect for what she?s doing; the focus on all of the production people who kept this behemoth on the road for two years. I give Taylor credit for a lot of things, but she deserves a lot of praise for figuring out a way to do this huge tour with so few screw-ups or tragedies. There were no rumors or reports of production disasters or mass firings or whatever. No one sued anyone. It?s remarkable, really.

| | Mail: Kim Kardashian is furious over the Sussexes' photo consent issues! | | Added 8 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

The British and American media has now spent three solid days talking about why Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian deleted their photos of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at Kris?s party. It sounds like Team Sussex tried to do some damage control on their end, leaking it to a few outlets that the Sussexes actually checked the ?no, please don?t share my photos online? box within the party. But it also sounds like Team Sussex doesn?t care that much that the photos are out there. The snafu if there was one and this wasn?t by design is on the Kardashian-Jenners? end. In any case, I wish people would take it down several notches, because the Daily Mail?s Amanda Platell is already ranting about how Harry is obviously miserable in LA and he should have been ?back in England,? being snubbed in person on Remembrance Sunday! The Mail also had this exclusive about how the Kardashian-Jenners are absolutely furious at Harry and Meghan now:
The furore over deleted pictures of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry inside Kris Jenners 70th birthday party has allegedly bewildered the Kardashians and wont be easily forgiven in Hollywood, it was claimed today. Candid photos of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex cosying up to the birthday girl and Harry sashaying towards her on the dancefloor were all mysteriously scrubbed from social media.
People Magazine, the Sussexes preferred publication in the US, has claimed that Meghan and Harry asked that no photographs of them inside the James Bond-themed party were published. A source close to the Kardashian camp has said they are baffled given the Sussexes were happy to be pictured inside the Baby2Baby Gala hours before the party, where they posed with friend Serena Williams.
Another Daily Mail source in LA has confirmed that Harry and Meghan are believed to have ticked no on a photo consent form before going to the ball thrown for Kris Jenner by Jeff Bezos and Lauren Snchez at their $165million estate in Beverly Hills. Kris Jenners Instagram post-party round-up showed a series of pictures of her with Meghan and Harry. Her daughter Kim shared a picture of herself posing with Meghan. But these were later deleted, reportedly due to the Sussexes consent form.
A California-based source told the Daily Mail today that Kim is fuming. Another expert said that Harry and Meghan have risked losing support from Hollywood A-listers that they need now more than ever.
Kim was like you?ve already been papped outside and you were at the Baby2Baby event the same night being photographed like Meghan Trainor and Paris Hilton so what?s the problem?, the Mails source said, adding: Kim is pi**ed off.
Former executive editor of the American edition of Ok! magazine, Rob Shuter, who also acted as a publicist for Britney Spears and J-Lo, say Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian view the request to delete pictures as a snub.
You cannot ghost the Kardashians, one LA source told him. Another insider added: Kim doesn?t do take-backs. If you show up to a Kardashian production, you?re part of the machine. Meghan?s made another Hollywood enemy. And unlike royals, Kardashians don?t forgive easily.
[From The Daily Mail]
Keep in mind, at no point has anyone confirmed that Harry or Meghan reached out to Kris or Kim, demanding the removal of the photos. By ALL accounts, everything happened on Kris and Kim?s end, the posting of the photos and removal of the photos when they double-checked the alleged consent forms. The British tabloids believe they have another ?wedge issue.? Look, proof that the Sussexes aren?t popular in LA! Kim is furious, we promise! I bet you anything that both sides are mortified that this story has blown up the way it has. I?d also be willing to bet that there are no hard feelings in either direction.
Additionally, Sussex sources are now telling People and TMZ that there were NO consent forms or releases to sign either way, that guests were simply asked to check their phones at the door, and the party wasnt even filmed for Hulus The Kardashians. So why did Kris and Kim remove the photos? Perhaps they just didnt want the deranged community to blow up their mentions? I dont even know at this point.

In September, the first teaser trailer for Emerald Fennell?s Wuthering Heights was released to widespread derision. We got a glimpse of Fennell?s vision for the classic novel and that vision was? not great. Fennell doesn?t care about period details, she doesn?t care that her teenage heroine is being played by 30-something Margot Robbie, and she doesn?t care about the actual original text by Emily Bronte. To make matters worse, Fennell organized some test screenings for the film and those people TALKED. They said the film is ?aggressively provocative and tonally abrasive, leans hard into Fennell?s now-familiar brand of stylized depravity. It?s a deliberately unromantic take on Bront?s novel, stripped of emotional nuance and full of salacious detours that serve shock value.? Well, there?s now a full-length trailer and it honestly looks like they?re trying to ?soften? the imagery:
LOL, I?m out. While this trailer is at least attempting to connect the film to the book, it?s beyond clear that Fennell took some really wild liberties with the text. It?s crazy because I love Margot Robbie and I genuinely believe she?s an underrated actress, but she was miscast here, and that?s such a central thing. I do think Jacob Elordi would have been a decent Heathcliff in a straight adaptation, but who knows what he?s doing here.

| | Humphrey Ker: Prince William was 'sweet & sensible,' Harry was a 'maniac' | | Added 8 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
|
Last year, on St. David?s Day (March 1), Prince William made his way to Wrexham. His wife was still missing at this point, no one had seen her for about ten weeks. William?s behavior during this time was bizarre. He was allegedly in Wales to do some Welsh-themed events for the holiday, but his very first stop was at a Wrexham pub where he pulled pints with Rob McElhenney and got a good buzz on. If memory serves, William?s next stop was a primary school. He must have reeked of booze by the time he staggered into that school. Anyway, I bring up that very odd moment because it turns out that William?s old school chum was also in that pub. Humphrey Ker works with Rob and Ryan Reynolds on Welcome to Wrexham, and Ker was there to help facilitate the ?day-drinking? event. Well, Ker is something of a jack of all trades an actor, writer, reality personality, football manager, and royal gossip. Ker spoke to the Telegraph about his school friends, William and Harry, and how William was always the sensible one. Suuure.
His classmate Prince William: When Humphrey Ker was a seven-year-old boy, eager but wet behind the ears at Ludgrove School in Berkshire, his teacher asked the class to write a few sentences about what they would like to be when they grew up. ?It was as much to teach us about paragraphs as anything else. But we went round the room reading them out. Some people said fighter pilot, Arsenal striker, this and that, the usual,? Ker recalls. And then came the turn of Ker?s dormitory mate, an immaculately behaved little boy called William. ?He said, ?I want to be a policeman.? And everyone burst out laughing, because of course he wasn?t going to be a policeman, we all knew everything that was going to happen in his life ? he was going to be king.? Poor old Prince William, who still hasn?t made it to Scotland Yard. He and Ker were schoolmates through both Ludgrove and Eton.
In a dorm with William: Boarding school, which Ker loved, started at seven. Chance saw him put in a dorm with the future Prince of Wales at Ludgrove, and the young Ker very much knew who he was. Just as he did William?s younger brother. I?m imagining protection officers under the bunkbeds. ?Oh yeah, they were there. Trevor and Graham. ?Crackers?, was Graham?s nickname. I remember even aged saven I felt for those kids. It was during that period when Diana was front page news every single day. Everybody knew everything going, and it just seemed totally miserable. [William] was always very sweet and sensible. He just knew what his responsibilities were. Harry was much more of a maniac: great fun but much more badly behaved. I?m sure it?s exactly the same dynamic [with George and Louis] now.?
His thoughts on William?s life now: They lost touch at Eton, and then entirely, as William went to St Andrews and Ker to Edinburgh. He?s since met the Prince of Wales and the King when they have come to gladhand at Wrexham. ?Again, I just feel so sorry for them. It?s that gilded cage thing. It just looks miserable. I think what Charles would really have been happy doing is running some eco business out of his house in Gloucestershire, just quietly getting on having a nice time with Camilla and the dog.?
On the celebrities he?s met: ?I?ve been fortunate enough to rub shoulders with lots of very famous people, and it looks completely miserable. I wouldn?t say they are miserable, but the lives they lead are not for me.?
Ker has lived in California for 12 years but now wants to move back to England: ?We?re now quite eager to move back, for a variety of reasons ? some of which I don?t want to print, because I?ll get thrown in a detention centre.? He?s half-joking. ?Loads of American friends are moving here now. I know about five or six couples who?ve just gone, ?You know what? We?ve had enough.??
[From The Telegraph]
I looked up Ker?s age he?s 43, like William, which makes sense because they were in the same class. It doesn?t even sound like Ker would have had much interaction with Harry, given Harry is two years younger? It feels like another ?Sussex tax? everyone has to say something rude about Harry or Meghan or else. ?Harry was a maniac? he was a neglected child! Jesus. And William has never seemed ?sweet.? Or ?sensible? for that matter. William certainly didn?t look sensible day-drinking with celebrities on St. David?s Day while his wife was missing and (as we now know) in very poor health.

| | Royal insider: The Sussexes' attendance at Kris Jenner's party was 'unconscionable' | | Added 8 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
The ?Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian deleted their photos of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex? story has now consumed the British and American gossip media for almost the entire week. Personally, I think the Sussexes? attendance at the party was always going to be one of the major gossip stories of the week, but the posted-then-deleted party pics took the story to the next-level as everyone tried to figure out what happened behind the scenes. It?s become a complete gossip sh-tstorm because it?s not just ?sources close to? the Sussexes and the Kardashian-Jenners talking to the media, there are also PALACE sources trying to add commentary. We saw that earlier this week, where Prince William?s office clearly threw a tantrum to Page Six about how Harry and Meghan are ?so tacky? for attending an A-list Hollywood party. Well, it looks like royal sources also cried to NewsNation. Apparently, Harry & Meghan?s party attendance is ?unconscionable.?
Royal insiders in England are aghast at Prince Harry and Meghan attending Kris Kardashian?s 70th birthday party last weekend at the home of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez.
?It?s unconscionable,? one insider gasped. ?The day we remember our war heroes, our veterans ? of which Harry is one! ? and he goes off to a ball!?
While Harry did wear a poppy flower pin to signify the day, his wife did not.
?It?s galling ? they should never come back to England,? the insider added. The couple?s glamorous night out came on the eve of Remembrance Sunday ? the most solemn occasion on the royal family?s calendar.
To make matters worse, in years past, Harry had made sure to spend Remembrance Day weekend honoring fallen soldiers. In 2023, Harry and Meghan visited Camp Pendleton in San Diego to meet with U.S. servicemembers, veterans and Gold Star Families ahead of Remembrance Day ? and a year later, also gave tribute to fallen soldiers. This year, however, was different.
The couple chose to party with Adele, Mariah Carey, Bill Gates, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Mark Zuckerberg, Oprah Winfrey and Stevie Wonder instead.
?Why didn?t they just come in the side door like Beyonc and Jay-Z?? One Hollywood type wondered. ?There are absolutely zero pictures of them arriving and perhaps one of Beyonc inside ? but none of Jay-Z. If Harry and Meghan didn?t want attention, they should have just asked for the side door. But then again ? Meghan loves the cameras.?
It was not only bad optics, but bad for the Sussexes? business. While they did hobnob with Hollywood elite and execs ? in hopes of gaining more business ? the couple were again slammed when they forced Kris Kardashian and Kim Kardashian to take down several pictures of them on the Kardashian Instagram. According to People: ?The Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn?t agree to have photos of them taken inside the party shared, and checked ?no? on a photo consent form, leading to the images posted on Instagram to be removed.?
But as someone who knows the Kardashians scoffed, ?That is ridiculous. Everything the Kardashians do is for public consumption, which leads to business. Harry and Meghan know that. They can?t have their cake and eat it too. They messed up big time by going to that party. They should have either stayed home or gone in through the side door. It gives (Prince) William more ammunition to dispose of them once he becomes king.?
[From NewNation]
The sourcing is absolutely bizarre. ?Someone who knows the Kardashians? said ?It gives (Prince) William more ammunition to dispose of them once he becomes king???? And a royal insider describing party-attendance as ?unconscionable,? a word no royal insider has ever used in connection to Andrew Mountbatten Windsor?s unconscionable activities with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Is this just Prince William and his office continuing to throw a sh-t fit? Are Kensington Palace insiders posing as ?someone who knows the Kardashians??
Incidentally, Harry asked to have his wreath laid at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday in 2020 and the palace refused and openly berated him for asking. Just as the Windsors refused to recognize his service on every Remembrance Day since 2020. Just as the Windsors have refused to acknowledge, celebrate or congratulate British Invictus competitors. Just as the Windsors refused to attend the Invictus service marking the tenth anniversary of the founding of the games last year. There?s a word for that? it?s on the tip of my tongue? maybe ?unconscionable??

Kensington Palace has been trying to do some clean-up on a pretty terrible PR crisis for Prince William in recent weeks, if not months. Personally, I think this latest crisis started in September, when Prince Harry spent four days in England, then traveled to Kyiv, Ukraine. The British media couldn?t hide the fact that William was close to a nervous breakdown because? Harry got good press and Harry met with Charles. It?s been downhill since then, with William and Kate?s refusal to work, their unpopular move into Forest Lodge (a move where they grabbed 150 acres of a public park and shut down a children?s center), and the pice de rsistance, the Earthflop debacle in Brazil, during which William?s big-boy thunder was stolen by his family. We should also note that William surrounds himself with clowns as advisors, which we?ve also seen in recent years, with their horrifically bad crisis management. Which means their version of ?clean up? is just ?declare victory and pretend that everything is going to plan.? From People Magazine?s curious article:
Optimistic Huevo: He?s leaving Rio with a renewed sense of optimism about what Earthshot can deliver. We?re seeing the impact Earthshot finalists are delivering. The momentum is really feeling unstoppable, a palace source tells PEOPLE in this week?s issue.
Credible Bill: He?s a very credible voice,? the U.K.?s ambassador to Brazil, Stephanie Al-Qaq, tells PEOPLE. ?He?s more than ready to step into that space.? Adds Jacinda Ardern, the former New Zealand prime minister and an Earthshot trustee: ?He?s pretty consistent. It?s been, ?How do we do more? How do we scale? How do we better support the finalists?? ?
The Prince Andrew mess: ?William has a strong personal core,? as does his wife, Kate Middleton, says a close source. Together, the insider adds, they embody values such as constancy, consistency, steadiness and a safe place for the country to reach out to.
William wants Andrew to be dealt with quickly: In the weeks prior [to Earthshot], the family had confronted the fallout from his uncle?s royal scandal. While William fully supported his father?s decision, there are those who believe he urged closure sooner ? and more strongly. ?There was pressure from William, who would not want to inherit the headache,? says a source close to the royal household. Adds a palace insider: ?He would want it dealt with as quickly as possible.?
Intense Bill: In Rio, William?s environmental purpose took on an unmistakable intensity. From the Sugarloaf summit to Copacabana Beach, the Prince of Wales carried himself less as a royal guest and more as a global advocate. ?He?s a door-opener,? says Runa Khan, founder of Friendship, a nonprofit aiding climate-affected communities in Bangladesh, and an Earthshot winner.
Statesman Bill: On Nov. 6, he brought that energy to Belm for the world leaders? COP30 summit. Stepping off the plane alongside U.K. prime minister Keir Starmer ? who had also attended the Earthshot Prize the night before ? he looked at home among politicians and heads of state. Following in his father?s footsteps on climate advocacy, William delivered his speech in his own empathetic style, reminiscent of his late mother, Princess Diana, who made her own memorable visit to the country in 1991.
But Harry got attention: The royal remained engaged even as his estranged brother Prince Harry unexpectedly announced a trip to Canada for his own series of Remembrance events ? catching palace aides by surprise, despite Harry?s team saying it had informed them.
[From People]
I find it embarrassing when American outlets cut-and-paste from palace emails. This kind of embiggening coverage is horrible for both People Mag AND William. Once you see how William and Kate force the press to treat them like reluctant toddlers who need wall-to-wall praise for every single thing, you can never unsee it. ?William delivered his speech in his own empathetic style, reminiscent of his late mother, Princess Diana.? You are a liar telling lies. ?The Prince of Wales carried himself less as a royal guest and more as a global advocate?? They?re still trying to force people to forget those volleyball photos. And the ?credible voice? stuff is hilarious Kate gets the same fluffery too, she?s a ?credible expert? on the Early Years, don?t you know. Will and Kate really are the two most credible experts in environmentalism and childhood development, we swear! They?re both global statesmen! William is just like Diana! No, Kate is just like Diana! Embarrassing.

All of the drama around this story is strange, right? Last Saturday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended Kris Jenner?s 70th birthday party. So many A-listers and billionaires were in attendance, and Meghan and Harry happily posed for photos with Kris and Kim Kardashian. On Monday, Kris and Kim posted party photos on their respective Instagram accounts, then within a few hours, both women edited their carousels and deleted some of the photos, including pics of Harry and Meghan. Now the deleted photos have become a stand-alone scandal, because people are being ridiculous. It feels like the campaign to treat the photo-deletion is yet another attempt to smear the Sussexes. As in, ?Kris deleted those photos because she HATES the Sussexes and/or they weren?t even invited!? Please, that was never it. Still, there were questions about what happened behind the scenes, whether it was Team Sussex politely asking for the photos to come down, or whether it was Kris trying to protect H&M. Well, The Royalist Substack is on the case:
Online, theories soon started to circulate, which can be boiled down to a) the Sussexes were snubbed by not being included, or b) the Sussexes got the pics taken down either because they i) didn?t look good or ii) because of the whole Remembrance Sunday context.
The truth, according to a source in Harry and Meghan?s camp with direct knowledge of the arrangements, is actually b) iii) that Harry and Meghan, along with other guests, were asked beforehand if they consented to images of them at the party being shared and had said ?no? (despite, perplexingly, apparently allowing themselves to be photographed arriving).
Photographic consent forms are now routine at high-octane gatherings, and the Sussexes, fully in line with Hollywood etiquette circa 2025, ticked ?no? for inside shots.
Someone on the Jenner social team missed the memo, the shots went live, a klaxon sounded somewhere, and down they came.
I?m told Harry and Meghan were not particularly bothered by the photos being published, which is lucky, as they have now been saved by an army of Redditors. Turns out, deleting a post of your hubby looking daft on the world?s biggest digital megaphone produces the opposite of disappearance (the aged among us will know this as the Streisand Effect).
[From The Royalist Substack]
?Turns out, deleting a post of your hubby looking daft?? Meghan wasn?t the one deleting anything and Harry didn?t look ?daft.? If Sykes is interested in a daft-looking prince, perhaps he should check out Prince Huevo?s ?I can read, I swear? photo-op on a private plane in Brazil last week, or perhaps check out those volleyball photos again. I also think it?s a bit ?daft? to assume that Kris Jenner was sitting there, personally adding or removing photos to her carousel. She has staff! She has a social media team, as does Kim. But sure, I believe that the A-list guests were probably given waivers or whatever and they had to check a box saying ?I?m cool/not cool with these photos being posted to social media.? I also believe Harry and Meghan probably didn?t care that much either way I mean, Kris didn?t remove the photos of Beyonce and Tina Knowles, you know? If Beyonce doesn?t give a sh-t, why would the Sussexes?
Also: a party insider (??) told Page Six that Meghan ?was definitely in networking mode. She schmoozed with a lot of power players? at the party, and that Meghan came across as ?cool.?
After I wrote all of this, People Magazine confirmed the basic gist of Sykes exclusive their Sussex sources are saying the same thing, that Harry and Meghan checked no on the consent form.

In mid September, Dolly Parton abruptly canceled a Dollywood appearance. Fans were concerned, but Dolly explained that she was suffering from a kidney stone and needed to take some time to put her health first. She announced a couple of weeks later that she was postponing her Vegas residency by nine months. In a follow up video posted in early October, Dolly shared that she was OK now, but had been neglecting her health while taking care of her husband Carl, who passed in March. Thankfully, Dolly?s taking her doctor?s orders seriously and has been laying low. She also just released a new book called Star of the Show: My Life on Stage, which features 350 photographs and personal stories from over the course of her career. In honor of the book?s release, Dolly sat down with People sometime over the summer for a cover story to talk about the book, her legacy, and how for her, age ain?t nothing but a number. A source also gave People an update about Dolly?s health.
?Dolly is getting better every day,? a source close to Parton tells PEOPLE in this week?s cover story.
?She is at home taking care of herself while many friends and family visit her,? the source adds of Parton, 79, who just released her new book Star of the Show: My Life on Stage. ?In true Dolly spirit she has already started decorating for the holidays ? her favorite time of year.?
Nearly two months before she postponed the string of concerts due to ?health challenges,? Parton sat down with PEOPLE for a cover shoot and interview. During the discussion, she opened up about her busy schedule, as well as her upcoming 80th birthday, which she?ll celebrate in January.
?People say, ?Well, you?re going to be 80 years old.? Well, so what? Look at all I?ve done in 80 years. I feel like I?m just getting started,? she tells PEOPLE. ?I know that sounds stupid, but unless my health gives way, which right now I seem to be doing fine . . . I think there?s a lot to be said about age. If you allow yourself to get old, you will. I say, ?I ain?t got time to get old!? I ain?t got time to dwell on that. That?s not what I?m thinking about.?
In her new book Star of the Show, Parton looks back at her seven-decade career and what she?s learned.
?I?m at that point in my life where I just want to be able to do good things that can be carried on,? she says. ?I?m proud of my legacy so far, and I hope to just continue to do things that might be of use to other people.?
[From People]
I hope to have Dolly?s attitude and fire (and her looks and athleticism) when I?m 80! She has that Alexander Hamilton ?non-stop? energy. I have no doubt that she?s going to continue to work for as long as she can because she truly loves what she does. That said, Dolly has always been a very private person, so I won?t speculate beyond what?s already been made public, but it sounds like she?s taking her health seriously, and it?s great to hear that she?s on the mend. I truly admire her work ethic and her spirit, but I hope she continues to listen to her body and get rest when she needs it. Of course she?s already decorating her house for Christmas! I love decorating for the holidays, so that would make me feel happy and relaxed too. Also, her book looks fantastic. I need to put that one and Michelle Obama?s new coffee table book on my Christmas list.

A few days ago, Netflix released the air date and poster for With Love, Meghan?s holiday special. It will be released on December 3. There was some muttering about Meghan ?choosing? a release date which would be on or around the Princess of Wales?s big Christmas caroling event. Considering Kate hadn?t released any confirmation of anything yet, it was funny to watch the deranged community get huffy about it in advance. Well, good news for Kate her Christmas event will be staged two days after the release of WLM?s Holiday Special.
Kate Middleton is continuing a Christmas tradition ? with a little help from a Hollywood star. At midnight on Nov. 13, local time, Kensington Palace announced that the Princess of Wales, 43, will host her fifth annual Together at Christmas Carol Service on Friday, Dec. 5, at Westminster Abbey in London.
The announcement also revealed that Kate Winslet, Hannah Waddingham, Dan Smith and Chiwetel Ejiofor are all involved. Winslet, an Academy Award-winning actor, will attend after her appointment as an ambassador for The Kings Foundation, one of King Charles personal charities, in June.
As for whats to come at the festive event on Dec. 5, a palace statement said, Combining traditional and modern elements to encompass people of all faiths and none, the service will see the world-renowned Westminster Abbey choir sing some of the nation?s most beloved carols, alongside musical performances and readings by guests including Hannah Waddingham, Dan Smith, Kate Winslet and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
The Service will also showcase stories of some of the incredible guests in the congregation, who are leading by example and helping to create a more connected society, it continued.
The theme for this years event is love in all its forms.
This year, the Service will bring people together to celebrate love in all its forms ? whether it?s love within families, through friendships, across communities or even through powerful moments of connection with strangers. In a world that can often feel fragmented and disconnected, love is the force that reconnects us all ? spanning generations, communities, cultures and faiths, the statement said.
As we approach the Christmas season, we are reminded of the power of togetherness. The evening will highlight the transformative power of investing in one another with compassion, presence and joy, it added.
[From People]
Hannah Waddingham is showing up the opening of an envelope these days, especially when it comes to anything royal or royal-adjacent. Good for her, in general, to strike while the iron is hot when she got her biggest break in her 40s. Kate Winslet is another one cozying up to the royals a lot lately, and I have no idea why. But Chiwetel?? Hm. Anyway, I?m sure the Princess of Wales will have all three kids there and maybe William will show up too. While this is barely discussed in the British media, the viewership for these specials has cratered in recent years. It will be interesting to see if any outlets try to do a head-to-head match-up between ?Together at Christmas? and WLM?s Holiday Special.

Ali Larter is currently co-starring in Taylor Sheridan?s (creator of Yellowstone, et. al) ?new? Paramount+ series, Landman. I call it ?new? because while it?s about to start its second season on Sunday, it?s not set in the Yellowstone universe. It?s actually based off a podcast about the oil industry in Texas called Boomtown. Landman also stars Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, and a huge ensemble cast.
Ali plays Billy Bob?s ex-wife, Angela, a role that requires her to wear a lot of sexy outfits, including low-cut, skin-tight dresses and bikinis. This past spring, Ali had to defend Angela?s sensuality and wardrobe, saying, ?If there was something I was uncomfortable with, I wouldn?t do it.? To promote the second season, Ali did an interview with People. When asked about her fitness routine, she was honest about how much work goes into maintaining her physique.
Ill tell you what. I work really hard, okay? Im not pretending that I dont, she tells PEOPLE in this weeks issue. Im up at 4:30 [a.m.] on Mondays. I go for a run. Its only 30 minutes. I try to eat very clean, but I eat. Im one of those protein mommies. I eat so much protein all day long. It works for me.
On top of morning runs, Larter does a lot of strength training, but the physical training is ultimately only one piece of the puzzle for her.
In the end, anytime you have to put on a bathing suit and walk in front of anybody, its really difficult, she admits. When I look around, the sexiest women I know are the women that own it. So part of getting there with Angela is owning it.
Once she enters the zone for a scene as Angela, particularly one where she might feel more exposed given her outfit, Larter says, There is no space in my mind for insecurity. Im not allowing any of that into my space when I play Angela.
Adding, I wouldnt be able to do it if I allowed insecurity to creep in. And I really do believe, sexiness ? yeah, shes sexy on the outside, but guess what? Shes owning it on the inside, too.
Larter admits that when shes not filming the show in Fort Worth, Texas alongside costars Demi Moore, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland and Kayla Wallace, she takes her time off seriously. I fall apart on the weekends. I lay in bed, sometimes 12 hours, she says. Im not kidding you.

Ali?s hard work is certainly paying off because she looks absolutely fantastic. If I looked like that at 49, I?d be bragging to People magazine, too. I?ve always been a sucker for celebrity fitness stories and it?s refreshing to hear an actress admit that she works her ass off to look a certain way rather than give the ol? ?It?s good genes; I eat whatever I want!? line. I?ve been in an exercising slump for the last month or so. I got bored with all of my go-to workouts and just fell off the wagon. Ali?s inspiring me to get back into a good fitness routine again. I also love that she admits to enjoying her days off by lying in bed for 12 hours. Rest and relaxation are good for the soul. In the same interview, Ali also admitted that while walking around in a bikini on set could be ?really difficult,? she thinks the key to true sexiness is to ?own it? by feeling comfortable in your own skin. She is so right about that. Self-confidence is very sexy.
Oh, and Sheridan is the new ?it? showrunner, isn?t he? All of his shows have ensembles made up of big name casts. Like Shonda Rhimes, Ryan Murphy, David E. Kelley, and Aaron Sorkin before him, it seems like everyone wants to be cast in his shows.
