Last month, we learned that Sarah Ferguson sent an email apology to Jeffrey Epstein in 2011. The apology, which was full of warmth and flattery, was sent after Epstein threatened to sue Fergie after she publicly ?cut ties? with him, which happened after she was exposed for taking money from Epstein. The email was new-to-us, but people who have followed the story of the Yorks? attachments to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell know that Fergie and Prince Andrew were still in contact for years after Epstein?s initial plea deal for sexually abusing minors. Well, something else happened in 2011 Andrew sent Epstein an email after the publication of the photo of Andrew, Virginia Guiffre and Ghislaine (seen above).
Prince Andrew secretly told paedophile Jeffrey Epstein we are in this together a day after The Mail on Sunday first published the infamous picture of the Duke with his alleged teenage sex victim, a bombshell email reveals. In the astonishing message, Andrew said he was concerned about the impact this newspapers revelations would have on his friend, but reassured the vile billionaire that the pair would rise above press scrutiny. It was sent to Epstein 12 weeks after Andrew had supposedly ceased all contact with the convicted sex offender.
The leaked email provides definitive proof that the Duke lied in his interview with BBCs Newsnight when he claimed he never had any contact with Epstein after the pair were famously pictured walking together in New Yorks Central Park in December 2010.
The revelation comes just weeks after the MoS exposed how the Duchess of York wrote Epstein a gushing message calling him her supreme friend ? despite telling journalists she would never have anything to do with him again. The hugely embarrassing email will heap further pressure on the Royal Family to sever all ties with the disgraced Yorks and raise fresh questions about their future at Royal Lodge, a 30-room mansion in Windsor Great Park.
Writing to Epstein on February 28, 2011 ? the day after the MoS published the now infamous picture of him with a teenage Virginia Giuffre that led to his downfall ? Andrew said: Im just as concerned for you! Dont worry about me! It would seem we are in this together and will have to rise above it. Otherwise keep in close touch and well play some more soon!!!!
Andrew signed off with: A, HRH The Duke of York, KG. KG refers to Dukes Knight of the Garter ? a prestigious position he has held since 2006 and which he still retains.
The MoS has verified the email address used by Andrew, while Epsteins email address has repeatedly appeared in court documents. Prince Andrew last night declined to comment.
[From The Daily Mail]
?It would seem we are in this together? I mean, he is correct, they were in it together, they were abusing girls and women together, they were absolutely birds of a feather. ?Otherwise keep in close touch and well play some more soon.? In 2011?? Yeah, Andrew and Epstein were still in touch long after Andrew allegedly ?cut ties.? Which means he was lying his ass off in that Emily Maitlis interview in 2019. The Mail?s A.N. Wilson who recently did that ?What?s Eating Prince William? piece spelled out how screwed the Windsors are about this, arguing that even though everyone knows that the Yorks need to be completely cut off, the biggest fear is what happens if Andrew decides to write a book.
So now, the questions that the Palace, and the King, have long tried to avoid are growing louder with each leaked email. When will they actually send Andrew packing? When will the King, who is his brothers landlord, say that he and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson simply cannot go on living in Royal Lodge, a 30-room mansion in Windsor Great Park? That they cannot attend royal funerals? That they are not to be lined up with the Royals for church services, Garter ceremonies or anything else? That they are out, completely out?
But royal exile for the Duke could invite even greater problems for the King. The fear is that, untethered from royal protocol, Andrew will become the loosest of loose cannons and his broadsides will splinter the entire Monarchy. For a start, he would need to find an income to fund his lavish lifestyle. Fergie, who has enlisted the help of many a poorly-paid ghostwriter to pen her ludicrously bad childrens books, will no doubt advise Andrew to sign a book deal.
Any publisher would lick their lips at the vault of Windsor secrets he could open, and pay handsomely for it. But they would backpedal fast if Andrew continued to deny any involvement with the Epstein crowd. The only book deal that would be credible is one in which he reveals as much about himself as he does his family, think: Confessions Of A Sex Addict Prince. The Palace must hope that he would not agree to such a memoir as it would be tantamount to admitting criminal offences. However many millions he was offered to write it, he and Fergie would get through the money in next to no time.
So the pair would have to beg for handouts from monied friends, be they paedophile financiers, oligarchs from the ex-Soviet stans or Chinese spies. So this is a real problem, and not only for the immediate family. It is a major crisis for the Monarchy, perhaps the gravest since the abdication of Edward VIII in 1936.
The King and the Prince of Wales cannot be seen to support or underwrite Andrew any more. His very existence as an official Royal is a scandal. So they must cast him out, for if they show him mercy, they are themselves implicated, and we are only a hairs breadth away from a republic.
[From The Daily Mail]
So the argument is? even though Andrew has the power to completely blow up the Windsors and expose a lot of secrets, the Windsors should still completely cast him aside? Interesting. I still don?t think Charles will do that, but it will happen when William is Scooter King.

| Seven charities dropped Sarah Ferguson after her Epstein email was revealed | Added 20 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Since her divorce, the Duchess of York will basically go to any event that pays her. She turns up at some of the most random-ass red carpets and events I?ve ever seen, still, to this day. Besides those paid gigs, Sarah is still the patron of many charities, and to her credit, she?s always shown up for those charities too. She?s shown up more often than many ?working royals,? let?s say that. Well, no more. Over the weekend, the Mail revealed that Sarah Ferguson sent an apology email to Jeffrey Epstein in 2011. The backstory: in 2010, Epstein gave Sarah a lot of money, she gladly accepted the money, then people found out she accepted the huge sum from a convicted pedophile, so she issued a public apology about it. All of that has been well-known for years. What people didn?t know was that following her public apology, Epstein threatened to sue her, so she sent him a sugary apology email, pledging her friendship to him forever. In the 48 hours after the Mail published the email, seven charities dropped Fergie as their patron.
Seven charities have dropped the Duchess of York as a patron or ambassador after an email from 2011 emerged in which she called sex offender Jeffrey Epstein her supreme friend and seemed to apologise for her public criticism of him.
Julias House, a childrens hospice, was the first to remove Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrews ex-wife, saying it was inappropriate for her to continue in the role. The Teenage Cancer Trust, Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, Childrens Literacy Charity, National Foundation for Retired Service Animals and Prevent Breast Cancer also announced they had dropped the duchess as patron. The British Heart Foundation said she would no longer be its ambassador.
A spokesperson for the duchess said she was not commenting on the charities decisions.
It comes after the Mail on Sunday and Sun newspapers published a 2011 email from the duchess to Epstein, which appears to have been sent after she had publicly claimed to have broken off contact with him. In the email, she appeared to privately apologise for her public rejection of Epstein, saying: You have always been a steadfast, generous and supreme friend to me and my family.
That seemed to contradict her public denunciation of Epstein in an interview earlier that year, in which she had said her involvement with him had been a gigantic error of judgement and that: What he did was wrong and for which he was rightly jailed.
A spokesperson for the duchess said her subsequent email to Epstein, describing him as a friend, had been sent because she was trying to counter a threat from him to sue her for defamation and that she still really regretted any association with him.
[From BBC]
As many have pointed out, it feels like Fergie is being targeted. I?m not saying that what she did was no biggie, but you have to keep in mind, we?ve barely scratched the surface of both Fergie and Andrew?s connections with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Literally writing ?You have always been a steadfast, generous and supreme friend to me? in black-and-white to a convicted pedophile will take down most public figures, I just didn?t think it would happen to Fergie before it happened to Prince Andrew or Donald Trump. But yeah, this has the feel of Buckingham Palace tossing Fergie right under the bus. Is this? King Charles?s housecleaning? Settling old scores, future-planning, taking care of some final business?

Sarah Ferguson was in New York two weeks ago, did y?all know that? I didn?t. There was barely any coverage of her visit in the American or British media. She was in NYC for UN Climate Week, same as Prince Harry. She hasn?t said if they saw each other. She was invited to the launch of Youth Impact Council, which has asked her to be a Founding Ambassador. To celebrate, Fergie spoke to People Magazine about her love of New York and her love of America, in general.
Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has a special place in her heart for the city of New York. In an interview with PEOPLE on Sept. 25 during New York Climate Week, the Duchess of York reflected on her experiences in the city. During her visit, Ferguson, affectionately known as Fergie, announced the launch of the Youth Impact Council, a new nonprofit organization where she will serve as Founding Ambassador. The council aims to elevate the voices of youth activists who are making significant strides in climate action, social justice, and innovation.
When asked about her plans during her time in N.Y.C., Fergie referenced a quintessential delicacy ? a hot dog with mustard, ketchup, sauerkraut and relish!
It was so good! And everyone laughed at me, saying, You can?t possibly eat the hot dog. And I said, Oh, yeah, got in the car, and what did they do? [They] all wanted to eat it! she tells PEOPLE.
I like to get yellow cabs, the Duchess of York, 64, shares about her N.Y.C. traditions. My favorite film is An Affair to Remember, so every time I see the Empire State Building I think of Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr. I know youve seen Sleepless in Seattle, but I remember An Affair to Remember with Cary Grant.
New York has been my home. The American people are extraordinarily kind to me, Fergie tells PEOPLE. I feel I am very Anglo-American. I know the language. I got it down. I don?t say lift, I say elevator. When I arrive in America, I speak American. Sort of. With a posh voice, she jokes.
[From People]
Fergie has never really talked sh-t about America America gave her a second chance, she made a lot of money in America, and she clearly enjoys the vibe here. She, more than anyone else associated with that family, understands why Harry chose to move to California. A fully-loaded hot dog though?? Even I wouldn?t do that. Okay, maybe I would get one without the sauerkraut.

| Sarah Ferguson offered to 'entertain' a charity auction bidder at Royal Lodge | Added 444 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

It?s still sort of amazing to me that Sarah Ferguson has continued to receive invitations to glitzy charity balls and galas around the world. She really is a ?royal for hire? in that sense, although I?m not saying that Fergie lacks a charitable spirit. She shows up for charities consistently and good for her. But she?s also getting those invitations because of her title, because charities want someone with some kind of vague royal connection. So it was when Fergie got invited to the Knights Of Charity Gala at Chateau de la Croix des Gardes, in the south of France. She was even tasked with ?helping out? with an auction, and she decided to throw in a special offer. From Richard Eden?s Mail column:
King Charles is said to be determined to evict his brother Prince Andrew from Royal Lodge, but the Windsor residence has lost none of its cachet. For I can disclose that Sarah, Duchess of York, who lives at Royal Lodge with her ex-husband Andrew, used the 30-room mansion to lure a plutocrat into donating 100,000 euros [84,000] at a charity gala on the French Riviera this week. Fergie berated the audience at the Knights of Charity Gala at the Chateau de la Croix des Gardes, in Cannes, for lacking energy on Monday evening.
She then helped top auctioneer Simon de Pury raise money by volunteering to entertain a super-rich bidder at the royal residence which used to be home to Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.
What Im offering is a unique experience with me, wherever you want to go in the world, whether it be Samoa, or whether you come with me in one of my charity adventures, or it could be in London or at the Royal Lodge, she told guests, who included the Hollywood star Orlando Bloom. Anywhere you want to go. You dont know where youre going to end up, but itll always be something different.
The duchess, 64, wore a monochrome gown complete with black opera gloves, which she said was a style tribute to Alfred Hitchcocks 1955 film To Catch a Thief, which starred Cary Grant and Grace Kelly. It was filmed at the chateau where the gala was held in partnership with Ulyssia.
I like the theme, you know, of Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly, she tells me. And I can wear my gloves. No, I dont feel hot in them, I love them. I think its rather nice to keep up with this. I just like wearing gloves.
Fergie will resume her Australia book tour in November, after cancelling her scheduled appearance at a literary festival in Perth the previous month because she didnt want to clash with the King and Queen Camillas visit Down Under.
[From The Daily Mail]
While there?s definitely a sleazy element to this, I don?t know, it was for charity?? That?s the whole reason she was there, to be loud and to convince people to donate more. ?You dont know where youre going to end up, but itll always be something different.? Fergie is so wild. But yeah, she should probably stop offering up private dinners at Royal Lodge in exchange for cash, even if that cash is going to charity. Because we know that she probably still offers access to the Windsors for cash privately too. That being said, King Charles does the exact same thing only much worse.

| Sarah Ferguson wants to host an American talk show to support her ex-husband | Added 732 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Sarah Ferguson started a podcast months ago, before she was diagnosed with breast cancer. I have no idea if her pod is successful, but I would assume most people really just don?t care. Still, because Fergie is toeing the Firm?s line for the most part, she must be hyped as the next big thing in? American broadcasting?? The Mail is trying to start the rumor that Fergie might end up hosting an American talk show. Like? this isn?t a real thing. It seems the real story is that Fergie is back to scheming for a way to make money so she can ?support? her ex-husband.
The Duchess of York is hoping to land a lucrative chat show in America in a bid to help her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, pay his mounting bills. TV producer Amy Rosenblum told The Mail on Sunday that she met Sarah Ferguson at New Yorks Regency Hotel last month and discussed possible formats. Ms Rosenblum, one of the most respected figures in US television, who was a long-time producer of Americas top-rated breakfast programme, NBCs Today Show, said: Sarah told me, I want a show! I want a show! I did a pilot with her about 15 years ago. We were up against Ellen DeGeneres and ultimately they went with Ellen. But Sarah was really good when we did the pilot. We have been friends since then.
Ms Rosenblum declined to comment on specific pitches which may be in the pipeline. But an insider at ABC TV, part of giant Disney Studios, said: Fergie could reasonably expect to earn around 2million a year, but that figure would go up considerably should her show be a hit.
Shes always gone down well in America. Shes never been too proud to promote the heck out of anything, be it one of her books or WeightWatchers. Americans respect someone who hustles.
The ABC source said: Ellen has retired so there is a gap in the market.
Fergie is reportedly keen to help bankroll 2million worth of essential maintenance work at Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park.Andrew had faced losing his 30-room mansion until he paid 200,000 for urgent roof repairs this summer. A source told the Mail on Sunday: Its true Sarah wants to help Andrew stay in what she considers their family home. She lives at Royal Lodge when shes in the UK. Its very much their familys base. Andrew has lost so much. She will do everything she can to help him keep the house, even though it may prove untenable in the long term.
Friends say that the Prince has been left bereft by events and is a lost soul.
He rides his horses and goes for long walks but he is a lost soul and veers between bafflement and feeling bereft by the turn of events, said one woman who is in touch with members of his inner circle. He has always maintained his innocence and those close to him believe him absolutely. He is struggling. He was able to pay for the emergency roof repairs but that was very much an interim fix. The overall repair bill is considerably higher and you have to factor in the day-to-day running costs of a place like Royal Lodge.
Money, or the lack of it, has been a constant in Andrew and Sarahs relationship. She will do everything she can to support him now, just as she always has.
[From The Daily Mail]
The Mail also name-checked Kelly Clarkson and Drew Barrymore (but failed to mention Jennifer Hudson) as talk-show hostesses who are trying to fill the daytime market following Ellen?s exit. Again, Fergie isn?t getting a network talk show. Americans wish her well, but we?re not dying to see her on a talk show, and these days, her baggage (Andrew, Jeffrey Epstein) would weigh down the show. As I said, the real point of this story is ?poor broke Andrew.? ?He is a lost soul and veers between bafflement and feeling bereft by the turn of events? He has always maintained his innocence and those close to him believe him absolutely.? Bafflement? Does he not remember all of the teenage girls procured for him by Jeffrey Epstein? Did someone force him to settle out of court with Virginia Giuffre? Did someone force him to lie his ass off in a BBC interview? Good lord. The Yorks are a complete disaster, and I really hope that Eugenie and Beatrice are smarter about money and their associations.

Sarah Ferguson is on a book tour in New York this week to promote her latest historical romance. She stopped by Good Morning America in a segment which aired Tuesday, and after she spoke about her book, she gave even more quotes about the Windsors, how much she adores and respects King Charles, and how much she likes the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
After QEII?s death, she ?feels liberated?: ?Its like Ive taken the mental shackles out of my brain. I dont know whether its the queen passing on that I now think I can just sort of say openly what I want to say without worrying Im going to offend somebody. Im really truly authentic Sarah now.?
On the Chubbly: She also still believes in the ?absolute unequivocal institution of the monarchy? and is looking forward to her former brother-in-law King Charless coronation in May. ?I totally support the King and the Queen Consort?Ive known them all my life,? she said, although she added that shes not sure whether or not she will be invited to the big event. The duchess added that she has ?adored? Charles all her life and believes ?he is an extraordinary person.?
On Harry: What Im thrilled about is seeing Harry so happy. Hes got his lovely wife and hes got beautiful children. He deserves to be loved.?
[From VF]
She?s also said (a few times) that she hasn?t been invited to the coronation but she adds that the invitations haven?t gone out yet. It sounds like she?s prepared to sit at home and eat a sandwich during the coronation. She also says that if Diana was still here, the two of them would be having a ?granny-off,? and that Diana would be immensely proud of her grandchildren. Of course, she also says tons of sh-t about Prince Andrew. My favorite part is when she says outright that QEII told her to keep writing shes practically giving her books the royal warrant.

Sarah Ferguson is still promoting her latest romance novel, which is why she keeps giving interviews where she talks about her ex-husband?s family. To be fair, everyone asks her about the Windsors and she?s just answering those questions as diplomatically as she can. She still adores her human-trafficker rapist ex. She also says nice things about King Charles and the coronation. She saves her warmest answers for the late QEII. But she also answers questions about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex with a surprising amount of? grace?? Is that the right word? Some highlights from Fergie?s Telegraph interview:
On QEII: ?She understood all of it. Everything. And it wasn?t even about forgiving, but a way of life. Duty, sense of purpose, but of course never judgment.? The Duchess will always be grateful to have had ?even a minute of HM?s time. Because also, during the last three years, her poor son [Prince Andrew] has been going through such a tumultuous time, and I think HM was very relieved I could help her with him, so we became even closer, then. But I?ve always admired and adored her. Really, she was more of a mother to me than my mother.?
Being a princess: ?The thing is, I had the great honour of being the Queen?s daughter-in-law, and therefore I couldn?t not see every single second as a great learning curve.? OK. But having to get all dressed up for royal functions? ?Loved it.? Having to sit through those functions? ?Loved it. Loved it. Listen, if every little girl?s dream is to be a princess, then your job is to uphold that dream. So I don?t ever want to let it down.? For that reason, she has always said to her daughters: ?Even when you?re just walking out of your own front door, always smile. Uphold all that. No one wants to see a grumpy princess.?
Whether the Duchess of Sussex is a ?grumpy princess?: ?I don?t really know Meghan. I haven?t really met her. I spoke to her at the funeral, and I thought she looked absolutely beautiful. I think she is beautiful.?
Has Meghan damaged the Royal family? ?It is absolutely not my place to answer that. She has made Harry very happy, and that is so nice. Honestly, he?s so happy with her. She really loves him. And I think that?s beautiful ? and that Diana would be proud of him and her lovely grandchildren.?
Whether she watched the Sussexes? Netflix docuseries: ?I?m just trying to think? Right.? She?s formulated a response. ?So, I think I?m a devourer of information on Netflix.? OK? ?And I love watching everything on Netflix.? What am I supposed to do with that? She chuckles. ?I also think that one day I?d like to do a documentary.? A similar one? ?I don?t know. I can?t be led,? she says, shutting me down. ?Not on this.?
Does she think fleeing Britain really will turn out to be Prince Harry?s best chance at happiness? ?I can?t speak for him, but I will say that after I got divorced, I spent 12 years in America, writing books, and it was a wonderful place for me. I felt free there. And I can?t thank Americans enough for the way they were with me. So, I can understand why he would [do that].?
King Charles is brilliant: ?I think it?ll be an extraordinary moment. And I feel really strongly that the King is brilliant. He upholds everything that is good. I mean, what he?s done for the environment! What he?s done in his life! How he loves to paint, how he loves to walk, how he loves to be. He is a very special person. So for him to have a moment where everybody looks up and understands how hard he and the Royal family has worked, is important.?
The coronation: It should, Sarah believes, ?be a moment when the entire world will say, right: we?ve got this. And now we?ll unite again and go on again. We are not?? she laughs, corrects herself, ?they are not celebrities. They are part of an extraordinary institution, and they go out and do their work. That?s what I did when I became a princess. Whatever happened, happened. We don?t go back. But whether I?m in or out, I?ll always uphold it.?
[From The Telegraph]
This is the fundamental thing which the family doesn?t understand or want to understand: ?She has made Harry very happy, and that is so nice. Honestly, he?s so happy with her. She really loves him.? Meghan has made Harry happy, Meghan loves him and adores him and vice versa. I think there was always this fundamental misconception within the family that Meghan was expendable to Harry, or that they could convince him to leave her, or they could treat her terribly and convince her to leave him. The Windsors fundamentally do not see it as a plus that Harry and Meghan are a love match.
I also think Fergie is flat-out copying what Meghan has said about being a princess and how she feels she has to carry herself a certain way because she knows little girls are watching her. Like? Meghan said all of that last year. I also like that Fergie is just defending the idea that America is a nice place to live. Anyway, I?d rather ignore all of the crazy sh-t she says about Andrew. Whatever.

| Sarah Ferguson: QEII 'was my total idol, she was so brilliant at putting you at ease' | Added 954 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
Sarah Ferguson already arranged for this People Magazine exclusive before the news broke about King Charles trying to evict Prince Andrew from Royal Lodge. Charles?s plan is to remove Andrew from Royal Lodge? and put him in Frogmore Cottage, because Charles is evicting the Sussexes. This affects Fergie because she?s been living at Royal Lodge rent-free for more than a decade. She has her own room or suite, she films videos at Royal Lodge and conducts interviews there and all of that. Y?all know Fergie is going to spitting mad about all of Charles?s schemes, but maybe she was already preparing for them too. In any case, Fergie spoke to People Magazine about QEII, the corgis and her latest book.
QEII was her idol. She put you at ease straightaway . . . because its terrifying, you know? I used to sit there for hours thinking, Oh my gosh, this is somebodys lifetime to have an audience with the Queen, and Im sitting having a cup of tea.? She was so brilliant at putting you at ease. She had the most incredible faith of any single person Ive ever met. She just knew what to do. She knew how to make people feel good. She never took it onboard as about her. Its about the monarchy, about making someone feel good. She was my total idol.
Her fiction book, A Most Intriguing Lady, explores history?s invisible women: I have been invisible for my own self for a very long time now, and so now Im just beginning to sort of liberate and sort of test the waters, right? So invisible women for me, and a voice from the grave is crucial for me, which is why I chose this period in history. Because for example, Lady Margaret and Lady Mary [the real-life heroines of her two novels], all their brothers were written about but they werent. So I think my real love is to take an invisible woman from the grave and say, Right, this is your story. How would you like it to be told? And just tell it.
The tension between lineage and duty: I think its much easier for me to answer that now that the Queen is not here. A lot of my sense of duty was because I wanted to uphold exactly the way the Queen did it, and my father before that, and my mother before that. I do think that its your own value system that you have to uphold ? and your own rule book of life.
If she were to talk to Queen Elizabeth today: She would tell her about the magnolia trees in the garden, because she loved that, and the primroses on the banks of Windsor, and the snowdrops. She would love that her doggies were walking wherever she walked before.
Adopting the corgis after QEII?s death: They are national icons, so every time they run chasing a squirrel, I panic. But theyre total joys, and I always think that when they bark at nothing, and theres no squirrels in sight, I believe its because the Queen is passing by. Theyre with me a lot, and they think Im very funny.
[From People]
Kind of tacky, right? All of this cozying up to QEII?s memory to shill her tacky book. That being said, QEII was somewhat fond of Fergie, probably because of QEII?s love for Prince Andrew. As for all of the stuff about the dogs? Fergie and Andrew both keep trying to make that story happen. The thing is, QEII only had those two dogs for a matter of months, and the dogs were given to the Queen BY Andrew and Fergie. They wanted her to have puppies in the last months of her life.
Also: Fergie talking about a ?value system? is something else. She cheats, she lies, she protects rapists and pedophiles, she sells out everyone she?s ever known, she steals, she?s made and lost fortunes, she takes shady loans and sells access, and on and on. While she?s not claiming any moral high ground, please don?t act like Fergie has ever tried to behave with dignity or decorum.

| Last year, Sarah Ferguson bought her '4.25 million London home upfront?' | Added 961 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
|
Last year, Sarah Ferguson mysteriously ?purchased? a 4 million home in the Mayfair district of London. Fergie has lived with her ex-husband Prince Andrew for years, at Royal Lodge in Windsor. King Charles has always been perturbed by Fergie?s presence in Royal Lodge, but still, that?s been the Yorks? living arrangement for years, mostly because they?re always ?broke.? Too ?broke? to buy their own home, too broke to pay off all of the loans and liens on their Swiss chalet (which they mysteriously bought, even though everyone thought they were broke). Fergie?s purchase of this Mayfair home did not go unnoticed, but there has been precious little follow-up on the initial reporting. No one knows how Fergie can afford it or why she hasn?t moved into the property or what the hell any of this means. Well, here?s a minor update:
Given Sarah, Duchess of Yorks well-documented financial mishaps, it was something of a surprise that she was able to splash out on a 4 million home in London. Now the mystery over how she afforded the Belgravia property has deepened after it emerged she cannot sell it without written consent signed by her daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
Official Land Registry documents obtained by The Mail on Sunday reveal the unusual restriction was placed on the pretty mews terrace when Fergie, 63, bought it in June last year. The deeds also reveal she paid 4.25 million outright without need of a mortgage.
Last night, a top legal source told the MoS that the restriction placed on the property suggests that her daughters may have stumped up the funds. That could be one explanation, they said, adding: But it also could mean that whoever purchased the property wants to make sure that her daughters ultimately benefit from it. Usually a restriction like this one is needed to stop conmen taking advantage of vulnerable elderly relatives and selling their house from under them when they are in a care home, but I dont think that applies in this case.
A source close to the Duchess last night declined to discuss whether she had paid for the mews home herself, stating it was a private matter, however, they alluded to Fergies recent publishing success, adding: She has bought it very much as a nest egg for the girls so it does not surprise me at all that she has put that kind of provision in.
[From The Daily Mail]
Yeah, I have more questions than answers. She paid for the home upfront, without a mortgage? She had that kind of money? I actually doubt her daughters have that kind of money, and even if they did, would they spend it on buying Fergie a home (which she?s not even using)? And I doubt that Fergie has gotten that kind of advance from her latest publishing contract too. All in all, it?s bonkers. I would really appreciate someone, anyone doing a deep dive on the Yorks? finances because every time we?re talking about money, Fergie and Andrew, it always sounds like they?re con artists knee-deep in like twelve different scams.

Sarah Ferguson has always made a lot of money in America. Once she and Prince Andrew divorced, she became a spokesperson for Weight Watchers and got a publishing contract for her line of children?s books. She honestly made enough to pay off all of her debts and live quite comfortably for years? except that Fergie is terrible with money and she?s always working a million different scams. All of which to say, she?s made and lost several fortunes already, and she?s currently rebuilding her finances yet again with a brand new book contract and a promotional book tour. Fergie is coming to New York in early March and the press release about her appearance is getting a lot of attention:
The Duchess of York will speak about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during an appearance in New York City while she will be promoting her romance novel, A Most Intriguing Lady.
Sarah Fergie Ferguson, 62, will be appearing at the cultural center 92nd Street Y on March 6. According to the press release, the duchess will also be talking about her relationship with the Queen and answer a few questions about Harry and Meghan.
The press release describes Fergies novel as drawing upon historical characters and biographical elements from the Duchess royal life and family lineage.
The release also refers Fergie as the former sister-in-law to King Charles. Between 1986 and 1996, the duchess was married to the kings younger brother, Prince Andrew, who has been widely criticized in recent years for his close relationship with financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

I mean? this isn?t some new thing. Whenever she gives interviews, she talks about her ex-husband?s family and her ex-husband. She still lives at Royal Lodge with Prince Andrew, and once Prince Philip passed away, Fergie has even been included in tons of family events. Do I think it?s tacky AF that Fergie?s team put Harry and Meghan?s names in the press release? Yes. It is, just as it?s tacky to put QEII?s name in there too. This is the kind of tackiness the Windsors were expecting from the Sussexes, by the way. They thought Harry & Meghan would be desperate and grasping for any connection with royalty.
