In recent years, Jennifer Aniston has spoken out about her fertility struggles, and how she absolutely tried to get pregnant for many years, to no avail. She?s never really specified the time frame, but I?ve always assumed that she?s talking about her 30s and 40s especially, like when she was married to Brad Pitt and possibly when she first started up with Justin Theroux. It?s also possible she tried to have a baby as a single woman, in between relationships. At no point has Aniston ever tried to adopt and it doesn?t sound like she?s ever tried or considered surrogacy. Well, in her new Armchair Expert interview, Aniston spoke about why she never wanted to adopt.
Jennifer Aniston doesnt want to adopt children despite her infertility struggles. During an appearance on a Wondery+ early access episode of the Armchair Expert podcast, The Morning Show star, 56, revealed the relatable reason why shes never been interested in adoption.
Aniston has previously been open about her infertility struggles, including going through in vitro fertilization (IVF) and getting to the point where she doesnt think about pregnancy anymore.
The topic of adoption came up after co-host Monica Padman discussed her experience freezing her eggs. After Padman said she was indecisive about whether she wants children, noting that maybe its okay that I dont, she asked Aniston if she has found peace being on the other side of that.
Its so peaceful, Aniston replied. But I will say theres a point where its like out of my control. Theres literally nothing I can do about it. When people say, But you can adopt, I dont want to adopt. I want my own DNA in a little person. Thats the only way, selfish or not, whatever that is, Ive wanted it.
Although Aniston said its something she really did not want to talk about, she acknowledged there have been moments where she has met someone and thinks that they would have made some good kids. However, its a sentiment that will pass within three seconds.
The actress said its something you ultimately romanticize after being on the other side of it because its out of your control. It just wasnt in the plan, whatever the plan was, she said, adding later that its very emotional, especially in the moment when they say thats it, because there is a weird moment when that happens.

Several points/beliefs/thoughts. It?s fine to want your own biological child, and it?s fine to be against adoption for yourself, for how you see your own family (as opposed to being against adoption for everyone, which sucks). I think there are a lot of people who feel that way, that they only want biological children. It?s better to know that and NOT adopt than find that out about yourself after you?ve adopted a child. Additionally, there are many people who see a baby or a child and instantly feel a connection, regardless of biology. With some people, you can just hand them a baby and they?re ready to take the baby home. Angelina Jolie is that way, she loves her adopted children with ferocity.

Technically, Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria are based in the Hamptons. They own a place in New York City, but they spend most of their time in Amagansett and that?s where they raise their eleventy billion children. The ?Balwinitos? have been on the move in recent weeks because Hilaria competed on Dancing with the Stars, only to get eliminated somewhat quickly (shes currently blaming ?bullies? for her elimination). Well, in any case, Alec was in East Hampton on Monday, driving Hilaria?s Range Rover, with his brother Stephen riding shotgun. Alec plowed into a tree and totaled the Range Rover.
Alec Baldwin and his brother Stephen Baldwin were involved in a car accident in which their vehicle crashed into a tree in the Hamptons amid a noreaster impacting the greater New York City area. Alec, 67, was driving the vehicle, according to Page Six and TMZ. The hood of his white Range Rover SUV appeared significantly damaged by the impact of the tree in East Hampton, N.Y., in video footage obtained by Page Six on Monday, Oct. 13.
Alec wore a gray polo shirt and pants paired with black sneakers, while Stephen, 59, wore a camouflage raincoat paired with denim shorts layered over olive green sweatpants. The brothers were seen speaking with police at the scene and exited the vehicle without major visible injuries.
PEOPLE reached out to a representative for Alec, who had no comment regarding the accident. The brothers were reportedly in town for the Hamptons International Film Festival, which began on Oct. 5 and concluded on Oct. 13.
In a video shared on Instagram after the accident, Alec said, I?m fine, my brother Stephen was visiting me. He also expressed gratitude for the TIFF staff, sharing that there were too many names to thank everyone involved in the festival.
Then, Baldwin started sharing more details about the accident. A guy cut me off in a truck. A big garbage truck the size of a whale, he said in the video. It must have been something commercial, taking away material from a construction site. It was the biggest garbage truck I?ve ever seen.
Baldwin then shared that, in order to avoid hitting the truck, he swerved and hit a big fat tree. I crushed my wifes car, he added. Im fine, my brothers fine. Later, he offered gratitude for the East Hampton police officers who rendered aid after the accident, saying that the officers on scene were as nice as can be and pleasant about the whole thing. He added that his wife Hilaria Baldwins car is pretty smashed up because of the big fat tree.
I?m going to LA to see my family, can?t wait. Going to California to gather my family out there for a few days. I?m still so proud of my wife. Hilaria, I love you more than anything. I?m fine, the actor concluded the video.

Yeah, I don?t know? It could be just as he says he was cut off by a large truck, he swerved and lost control of the SUV. Or it could be weather-related. Or it could be something else entirely. Last week, Angelina Jolie responded to Brad Pitt?s demand, in their long-running lawsuit over Chateau Miraval, that she turn over her private communications between her lawyers and her team from 2016 and 2017. Angelina?s lawyer argued that the communications are about attorney-client privilege. Angelina is now asking the court to order Pitt to pay for the specific legal fees around this issue, and as part of that, she submitted a declaration in which she described what happened and her actual mindset in the early years of the divorce. As in, after Brad abused her and their six kids and terrorized them on a private plane in 2016, Angelina left Brad, never once stepped foot in Miraval ever again and never asked for alimony as a way to ?calm? him. Brad, in turn, has spent the better part of a decade smearing her and punishing her for leaving. On the heels of Angelina?s declaration becoming public, you?ll never believe the exclusive published in People Magazine.
Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon, his girlfriend of three years, have taken the next step in their relationship. A source tells PEOPLE that Pitt, 61, and de Ramon, 32, are now fully living together and have moved into a new home.
Brad is really including Ines in all his travel plans, and when they are home, they just relax together, the source says. They are really making their home into a home.
The F1 actor and de Ramon have been linked since 2022, but only made their red carpet debut at the 2024 Venice Film Festival. This year, the jewelry designer was by his side for much of the press run for the Formula One-inspired movie.
They are happier than ever, another source says, noting the couple is going really strong. Of Pitt, the insider adds, Hes so happy and in love as the pair plans for the future.
Following de Ramons appearance alongside Pitt at the F1 world premiere in New York City in June, a separate source told PEOPLE that Pitt loved having Ines by his side. Shes no drama, very supportive and theyre doing really well,? the source added at the time.
Later in August, after Pitts mother, Jane Etta Pitt, died at age 84, a source told PEOPLE that de Ramon was supporting Brad as he grieves his mothers loss. She wants to be there for him, and Brad is very much letting her be that person, the source said.

If I worked for People Magazine, I would be embarrassed to run such naked pro-Pitt propaganda in the wake of Angelina once again speaking about Pitt?s financial, physical and emotional abuse. My guess is that Pitt?s team probably wanted some specific slams about Angelina in this piece, and People?s editors were like ?yeah, we?re not going to do that, but we?ll use the stuff about Ines.? At least I hope that?s the way it was handled. As for the story itself? lets hope Ines is getting something out of this. This relationship has always had the whiff of ?arrangement? to it, but she better get a bonus for moving in with him. Twenty bucks says she?s still keeping her own apartment though! I hope Ines is paying attention to what Angelina is saying too once Angelina left, Brad didn?t even allow their children to return to their LA home to pick up their clothes or toys. She always attends the NYC Ballet?s galas, and last night was the annual fall gala to mark the new fall and winter shows. The gala performance featured costumes designed by Iris van Herpen. So? that?s why Sarah Jessica is dressed this way. She wore a huge, winged Iris van Herpen design to the gala to support the ballet company?s latest costume designer. I get it, but I also feel like? she could have gone smaller and still made a big fashion impact. I also think her styling is rather blah, but she?s probably doing that on purpose so that people focus on the dress.
Nicole Ari Parker and Julia Fox also attended the fall gala and both wore Iris van Herpen as well. Don?t hate me but? Julia looks the best in Van Herpen. So many women really need to let go of this idea that slicked-down, severe center-parts are flattering. I fully believed Nicole was Emily Blunt.
Mick Jagger and Melanie Hamrick were also in attendance. Do you know they?ve been together for more than a decade? Time flies they got together in 2014, and they welcomed their son Deveraux Octavian Basil Jagger in 2016. They?re engaged but I bet they never marry. She?s a ballerina, or a former ballerina. So that?s why they?re supporting the NYC Ballet.

Taylor Swift stepped out last night in NYC, her first pap stroll outing in months. She went to the Eighty Six, a steakhouse. Taylor really went underground following the Super Bowl, and while she has been out in New York this year, shes only been photographed very rarely. Taylors sending a message here: Im back! Talk about me! Her skirt is way too short, btw. But obviously, she loves autumn. She loves boots and cute sweaters. Well be seeing more of her like this in the coming months.
Meanwhile, Taylor released The Life of a Showgirl last Friday, to mixed reviews and a fanbase which seems to be growing more disenchanted by the year. There are discussions about Taylor ripping off other artists with little to no credit. There are discussions about Taylor?s problematic behavior towards other women in the industry. There?s the ?Opalite? discourse about the imagery and message she uses to discuss Travis Kelce?s Black ex-girlfriends (specifically Kayla Nicole). There?s also a discourse about Taylor?s romantic history, especially when she was an adult woman literally dating a kid in high school (Conor Kennedy). Anyway, you get the idea a lot of people are talking a lot about Taylor and her album, and there are ongoing critiques of the music and Taylor herself. Well, Taylor welcomes those discussions! At least that?s what she claimed on The Zane Lowe Show:
Taylor Swift shared her candid thoughts on the passionate range of reactions to ?The Life of a Showgirl.? She thanked the fans who ?immediately? got the album?s emotion and themes ? but she also had words for the critics. While appearing on Apple Music?s ?The Zane Lowe Show,? Swift said she ?welcomes the chaos? seeing that it?s a ?rule of show business?: ?If it?s the first week of my album release and you are saying either my name or my album title, you?re helping. And art, I have a lot of respect for people?s subjective opinions on art. I?m not the art police. It?s like everybody is allowed to feel exactly how they want. And what our goal is as entertainers is to be a mirror.?
The record has received mixed reviews from critics with some praise for its unabashed, joyful sound, while others criticize the lyrics for their perceived lack of depth.
?Oftentimes, an album is a really, really wild way to look at yourself,? Swift told Lowe. ?What you?re going through in your life is going to affect whether you relate to the music that I?m putting out at any given moment.?
The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter also made a revealing statement about what empowers her to make music: ?We?re doing this thing for keeps. I have such an eye on legacy when I?m making my music. I know what I made. I know I adore it, and I know that on the theme of what the Showgirl is, all of this is part of it.?

Taylor talking about ?legacy? is wild. I expect an artist like Beyonce to talk about her artistic legacy, and working on legacy projects (which is exactly what the Renaissance trilogy is, a transcendent legacy project). But Taylor? She?s a 35-year-old who is still singing about high school and her fiance?s redwood dong. She?s still scrapping with pop girls and gaming the charts with variants (she?s released like 20 variants already, in like the past 72 hours). But she?s right, if people are talking about her, that?s good for sales and it means her promotion is working. It?s just that I don?t believe that Taylor has a que-sera-sera attitude about people critiquing her music or her celebrity persona.

Last year, when Taylor Swift released The Tortured Poets Department, she really didn?t do much dedicated press or media for the album or the singles. It was a Beyonce-esque move, a power move to say that she doesn?t need to hustle her album for it to be successful. So what do we make of Taylor?s promotional tour for The Life of a Showgirl? She?s been on a tour of British radio stations, she?s been doing TikTok dances and last night, she made her first appearance on the Tonight Show in years and years. Jimmy Fallon obviously didn?t ask Taylor any hard questions, because he knows how to stay on Taylor?s good side. He did ask her about the Super Bowl and whether she has been offered the Halftime headliner gig before. She said something really interesting about Roc Nation and Jay-Z.
Taylor Swift, 35, appeared on the Monday, Oct. 6 episode of The Tonight Show for a conversation with host Jimmy Fallon, where the pair went through a list of rumors, with Swift confirming or denying them. One of the revelations from Swifts appearance was her explanation for why she will not do the Super Bowl halftime show. When asked by Fallon about the rumor that [shes] turned down the Super Bowl because of performance footage,' Swift replied No.
She then launched into a lengthy explanation. Heres the thing, she began. Jay Z has always been very good to me. Our teams are very close. They sometimes will call and say how does she feel about and thats not an official offer or a conference room conversation. Were always able to tell him the truth, which is that I am in love with a guy who does that sport on that actual field.
Swift reflected on how stressful it is to watch her fianc Travis Kelce play on the field ? and how that plays into her consideration of potentially doing the halftime show. That is violent chess, Swift said. That is gladiators without swords. That is dangerous. The whole season I am locked in on what that man is doing on the field. Can you imagine if hes out there every single week putting his life on the line, doing this very dangerous, very high-pressure, high-intensity sport, and Im like, I wonder what my choreo should be. I think we should do two verses of Shake it Off into Blank Space into Cruel Summer would be great.'
The music star clarified, This is nothing to do with Travis, he would love for me to do it. Im just too locked in.
During the segment where Swift debunked rumors, she was also asked if she joked to Selena Gomez on the actress wedding day, Hey you beat me to the altar. Swift shared that the answer is another no. I got to see her be the most elegant, gorgeous ? not only bride but just ? vision that Ive ever seen in my life. Ive never seen anything so beautiful as her on her wedding day, she said of Gomezs Sept. 27 wedding to music producer Benny Blanco.
And she deserves all of this happiness. Benny is so funny. Hes the best. I did make a speech. But I actually made a point not to mention anything about my engagement. No one wants you to be like, Hey, I know this is your wedding day but?' with a raised hand showing off her ring. I was like, Dont mention it.'

People always forget, and Swifties always forget that Taylor is legitimately really close to Beyonce and Jay-Z. They?ve all been close for many years. Still, I?m surprised by Taylor?s description of her team?s closeness to Roc Nation. We didn?t know until now that Rox Nation, who produces the Halftime show, has periodically gone to Taylor to take her temperature about the Halftime show. That?s interesting. One of the funny things about the Duchess of Sussex?s weekend appearance at Paris Fashion Week is that she really blew away all of the other celebrities who were in town for the shows. Kim Kardashian really thought she was going to be the talk of PFW! Oh well. Kim has gone back to being a PFW regular after skipping Paris for many years following her 2016 robbery. While it used to be big news whenever Kim went back to Paris, it?s really not anymore. That being said, I doubt Kim minded that much about being overshadowed by Meghan. The Sussexes seem somewhat friendly with the Kardashian-Jenner clan, for what it?s worth.
So, here are some photos of Kim in Paris. She attended multiple shows and posed for the paparazzi on the street. She wore Gucci (the fur coat), she rocked a pixie-cut wig for the Alaa show and she also wore a midriff-baring Maison Margiela ensemble. As the NYT noted, ?It takes a lot for the jaded fashion crowd to get excited about a celebrity. Even Kim Kardashian?s appearance at Maison Margiela with cropped hair that made her look like she was cosplaying her mother merely elicited amused grins.?
While Kim does look so much like Kris with that pixie wig, I don?t think it?s flattering whatsoever, and I?m someone who really liked Kris?s old hairstyle. It looked cute and appropriate on Kris it just looks terrible on Kim. Nothing is worse than that Gucci coat though. My god.

Two years ago, Pamela Anderson showed up to a Vivienne Westwood show at Paris Fashion Week without makeup. It was the official debut of her au naturel era. Well, Pammy is back in Paris for PFW 2025 and she?s done it again! This time, the big reveal was a new hair cut and color. Famously blonde Pam is now sporting short red hair. Pamela took her new hairdo out in different styles to a few PWF events. The first night, she showed up in a shaggy mullet while at the Tom Ford show, she wore a cool, slicked back look. The next day, at the Mugler show, it was curly. Apparently its for a role.
The Baywatch alum debuted a drastic new do, ditching her signature blonde locks for a shorter, shaggier chop in a striking red color.
Pamela showed off her shocking transformation in photos taken by Marco Bahler at a Cond Nast Paris Fashion Week party, where she wore a sleeveless ivory satin dress with draping details that hung down her back.
The 58-year-olds new look was done by John Nollet, and the Paris-based hairstylist confirmed on his Instagram Stories that the transformation is for an upcoming film role of hers.
Pamela is set to star in Michael Ceras upcoming directorial debut Love Is Not the Answer opposite Steve Coogan and Jamie Dornan, Variety reported back in May.

Taylor Swift?s The Life of a Showgirl is out now. The good news is that Taylor is a stand-alone industry and a monoculture, which means that everyone has an opinion on her life and her music. On Thursday, leaks of TLOAS were being widely circulated online, and the Swifties were already in the trenches and fighting with everyone. The thing is, 90% of the music industry is in awe of Taylor and fearful of her enormous power. Which probably explains why even though early listeners of TLOAS are disappointed, the mainstream media?s reviews of the album are glowing and extremely positive. Variety and Rolling Stone led the way in praising the album and calling it yet another perfect classic. The Guardian?s critic was more honest, and this is the review getting much more play, some highlights:
There are albums for which vast success seems preordained, and then there is The Life of a Showgirl. The podcast on which Taylor Swift announced the release of her 12th studio album ? her fiance Travis Kelce?s ordinarily sports-focused New Heights ? garnered half a billion views, breaking a record set by Donald Trump?s appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience in the process. A ?launch event? film, featuring the kind of lyric videos and backstage footage that anyone else would release on YouTube, is instead set for a theatrical release in more than 100 countries: in the US alone, it sold $15m worth of tickets in 24 hours. The album itself has been pre-saved more than 5m times on Spotify, breaking another record in the process. ?I?m immortal now,? Swift sings on the title track, which seems less like an extravagant boast than a statement of fact.
In contrast to last year?s The Tortured Poets Department ? which by the time she?d finished releasing expanded editions and bonus tracks, was nearly two and half hours long ? it offers a crisp 12 songs in 40 minutes. Her recent collaborators Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner are nowhere to be seen. Swift made The Life of a Showgirl in between Eras dates with Max Martin and Shellback, the Swedish duo who co-wrote and produced her most forthright pop bangers of the 2010s: Shake It Off, Blank Space, Don?t Blame Me, Bad Blood.
But anyone anticipating something similar from Showgirl is in for a shock: the fizzing electronic pop of Reputation and 1989 is conspicuously absent. Instead, its primary currency is breezy, easy-on-the-ear soft rock: acoustic guitars, misty synth tones, subtle orchestrations and breathy backing vocals. Wood?s laid-back take on disco recalls not the sweaty hedonism of the dancefloor but the late 70s moment where four-to-floor rhythms and chicken-scratch guitar temporarily invaded the oeuvres of west coast singer-songwriters.
More startling still is the distinct lack of undeniable hooks and nailed-on melodies. The songs are well turned, but in terms of genuinely memorable moments, Showgirl evinces just one killer chorus (Elizabeth Taylor), some impressively unexpected key changes on Wi$h Li$t and the authentically heart-tugging Ruin the Friendship, which finds Swift returning to her home town for the funeral of a high school boy she regrets not dating. There?s a fantastic chord sequence on Actually Romantic, but, alas, 37 years ago Frank Black wrote a very similar one for Where Is My Mind? by Pixies, a song you can literally sing along to Actually Romantic. The rest floats in one ear and out the other: not unpleasantly, but you might reasonably expect more given the amassed songwriting firepower behind it, and Swift?s claims of ?keeping the bar really high?.
Cancelled! deals with the Kim-and-Kanye-adjacent controversies that beset Swift in 2015 and 2016, and Father Figure concerns former label boss Scott Borchetta, both in needless-to-say-I-had-the-last-laugh style. There are some spiky lines here and there ? ?you made a deal with this devil / turns out my dick?s bigger? snaps Father Figure ? but they don?t really click. Perhaps that?s because Cancelled! and Father Figure revisit very well-trodden ground, while eviscerating a rival when you?re the world?s most successful pop star is, by default, punching down, even if she did apparently call you ?boring Barbie? behind your back.
Then there?s Wood, a song that, metaphorically speaking, drunkenly clambers on a table in Wetherspoons pub with a skew-whiff bridal veil on its head and an L-plate around its neck and favours everyone in earshot with a loud paean to the size of her fiance?s penis, which it variously describes as his ?magic wand?, his ?redwood tree? and his ?hard rock? (there is also a regrettable degree of punning on the word ?cocky?). Of course, Swift is perfectly entitled to write about whatever she wants, TMI or not, but there?s no escaping the fact that comparing her partner?s knob to a magic wand constitutes weak writing from someone who made her name, at least in part, by being a sharper, wittier, more incisive lyricist than her peers.
In fairness, Wood is one clanging misstep on an album that isn?t terrible: it?s just nowhere near as good as it should be given Swift?s talents, and it leaves you wondering why. Perhaps romantic contentment simply writes whiter than vengeful post-breakup bitterness, or perhaps it wobbles your judgment. Perhaps it was rushed. Or perhaps its author was just exhausted, which would be entirely understandable. Even the immortal, it seems, sometimes need to take a break from pop?s constant churn and unceasing clamour for content.

The fact that it?s not full of more revved-up songs is what surprised me, given the name of the album and Taylor?s return to working with Max Martin and Shellback. I was expecting upbeat pop bangers, and not? this. I also don?t understand Taylor?s need to churn out albums every year, especially when it certainly feels like she?s running out of good material. That?s the larger point though Taylor?s in such rarefied air, she believes/knows that her fans will buy every single song, every album, every variant she sells, regardless of quality. Every artist makes dumb songs very few artists release all of their dumb songs because they feel the need to churn out an annual album.
