Major SPOILERS for Sunday?s season finale of Game of Thrones.
Even though I hate (or love to hate?) Cersei, I find Lena Headey absolutely charming. You can just feel that Lena has so much fun playing Cersei on Game of Thrones, and unlike so many actors, Lena doesn?t care if her character is likeable in the least. I honestly thought we would be discussing Lena?s exit-interview following the finale ? I thought for sure that Cersei would die at the end of Season 6. But she didn?t. She played her trump card and burned all of her enemies in one glorious wildfire bang. Then Cersei?s last surviving child, King Tommen, committed suicide rather than be a pawn in his mother?s throney shenanigans. So what was left? Nothing, except to take the Iron Throne by herself. Cersei?s support is a mile wide and an inch deep, and she will obviously not remain on the throne. Even Lena says as much. Here are some highlights from her EW interview, which is all about the finale:
On the prophecy: ?Yes, the prophecy finally comes true. Which is horrible. Yet at the same time, she has her greatest moment of triumph. She gets rid of all her enemies, that she knows of anyway. Then there?s that moment where she goes to see dead Tommen and she thinks, ?Ah. Well. I?ll [take the crown].? It?s so wrong.
Reading the finale script & realizing Cersei was taking out her enemies: ?I was grinning.. Everyone is going to be aghast and thrilled and annoyed they?re on Cersei?s side for a minute.?
On Frankenclegane?s torture of Septa Unella: ?It?s so filthy. It?s so great. Everybody?s witnessed what happened with the two of them. I don?t think people will be able to help going, ?Yes!? But it?s so depraved, it?s brilliant. The scene was meant to be worse, but they couldn?t do it. This is like the tame version. It?s pretty bad still though. I?d take being exploded in the Sept over that any day.?
When she realized Cersei would sit on the throne: ?I couldn?t believe it, obviously. I was really shocked. I read it like nine times, like, ?You?re joking!? Then I?m left to wonder who?s going to take her down. She may only be there for a second. You do think, ?What the f? comes next?? Then we start again to play that game we all play each season, ?Who?s going to be on the Iron Throne next??
Whether Cersei will have a long reign: ?No. Surely not! Not a chance in hell. It?s a moment of punctuation in the madness.?
She hopes next season will have a Cersei-Tyrion reunion: ?I?m as excited as anyone to get Cersei and Tyrion back together. It just works. Those two characters are so interesting because there?s so much hate, yet slight respect too. They?d kill each other if ever given the chance.?
Who should kill Cersei: ?I think it has to be Arya or Tyrion?No one would relish her death as much as [Tyrion] would.?

While I love that Lena name-checked Arya as her would-be assassin ? and Cersei is absolutely on Arya?s much-recited sh-t list ? that would go against the prophecy, all of which has come true thus far. The prophecy was right that she would bury all of her children. And the prophecy is likely right when it predicts that she will die by Volonqar, which is Valyrian for ?little brother.? Cersei is actually the ?older twin,? so both Jamie and Tyrion are her little brothers. Who will kill Cersei? Tyrion or Jamie? Lena?s BFF is actually Peter Dinklage in real life, by the way. They adore each other and spent several years renting a house together during filming of the show. Lena tells EW that if Tyrion is the one who kills her, ?Maybe we could have a dying kiss or something.? She just wants to get a snog off The Dinklage!
Also ? poor Natalie Dormer also gave a short ?exit interview? to People Magazine about how Margaery died because of the High Sparrow?s incompetence. Which is true.

She plays Queen Regent of Westeros on the hit show ?Game of Thrones,? and it turns out Lena Headey can be pretty cold and calculated in real life as well.
The lovely English actress paid a visit to ?Jimmy Kimmel Live? on Monday night (January 25) to participate in a silly segment based on the hit reality show ?The Bachelor.?
Ms. Headey read several selections from the dating program in her intimidating Queen voice, including, ?I don?t think there?s one girl who is competition? I think I?m way prettier than everyone else?? Check the clip!

Here are some photos of the lovely ladies of Game of Thrones at last night’s Emmys. The female contingent of GoT came out to play, starting with Queen Cersei/Lena Headey in this badass Zuhair Murad. I?m sure this isn?t everyone?s cup of tea and I might feel differently about this gown on someone else, but I completely love it on Lena. I think I love it so hard because she paired a great gown in a great color with her absolutely adorable spunky haircut. She?s the best!
Maisie Williams wore Ermanno Scervino and fluffy/furry shoes. A Girl got a lot of Twitter love for the shoes but A Blogger thinks they are too Fredrick?s of Hollywood. A Girl also did a bold, Delevingne-esque brow which? A Blogger has mixed feelings about. A Blogger enjoys A Girl in soft Pink though, so A Girl comes out ahead.
Sophie Turner in a Galvan jumpsuit. I?m not loving this and she?s wearing too much makeup. The whole effect is sort of garish.
Carice van Houten. Melisandre has been hitting the Botox too hard. Her face looks like it?s been touched by The Night?s King. The dress sucks too, much too ?young? for her.
Gwendoline Christie? I wouldn?t have put her in this, but it?s not bad at all.

Game of Thrones Season 5 is 17 days away. Can you feel it? I?m nervous as a cat! Who will die? Are the dragons going to fly free? Will Tyrion meet Dany? Will Ayra survive and thrive? And through it all, Cersei remains as bitchy as ever. It?s going to be interesting to see how she functions without her (spoiler) father. But one thing is for sure: everybody seems to love Lena Headey. She seems like a lot of fun, and she seems to befriend all of the new cast members. Lena is not the queen of bitchery like Cersei, it seems, although I have to admit that I don?t really know that much about Lena in real life. So I was happy to read her cover profile for More Magazine. Some highlights:
Her divorce from ex-husband Peter Loughran: “It?s tough. There?s a lot of hurt and sadness and disappointment. Grief. Massive grief. It?s a mourning process, and yet nobody?s died.”
Her battle with depression: “I haven?t had a spell in a long time. I think some people?s brains are just wired that way if you?re a thinker. People who never get anxious always amaze me. The world could be breaking up and they?re saying, ‘Everything?s fine!’ Getting older and having kids, you learn how to become less serious about it all.”
Her current mystery baby-daddy: “I like to keep my personal life private.?
She loves tattoos: “I always want more. It’s a terrible thing. I’ll be outside a tattoo shop and hear the needle and think, ‘I could just get a little one that nobody would see …’ ”
Peter Dinklage on Lena: “A lesser actress would play a wicked woman. But Lena approaches it as a mother lion?maybe because she?s a mother herself. Cersei will do anything to protect her own.”
Her future: “Nothing is concrete. Right now I?m having a very great moment, but it?s a moment, and I always think, okay, worst-case scenario: Could I survive in my car? Would this be okay? My friends call it disaster thinking. I like to think of it as realism.”

I like that Dinklage in quoted in the article ? it feels like he doesn?t really do that much press around GoT (he receives a lot of press though), so it?s nice he thinks so highly of Lena. I also didn?t know she battles depression. I sort of agree with this statement, although I think her wording is odd: ?I think some people?s brains are just wired that way if you?re a thinker.? Depression and manic-depression is in the wiring, I feel, and I believe the ?if you?re a thinker? is a reference to the idea that with that kind of wiring, it feels like your brain just won?t shut down. Last week, there were photos circulating on some sites of Game of Thrones star Lena Headey, walking around LA with what seemed like a decent-sized baby bump. I?ve actually heard some mutterings here and there for weeks, that Lena is knocked up and she?s trying to keep the whole thing quiet. It?s worth noting that she?s already got one kid, a 4-year-old son named Wylie, with her ex-husband Peter Loughran. And now she?s confirming that she?s pregnant again. But no mention of any baby-daddy.
There?s another Lannister on the way! Lena Headey is expecting her second child, PEOPLE confirms exclusively. The actress is best known for playing Cersei Lannister in HBO?s Game of Thrones.
?I?m happy to confirm that I?m having my second child this summer,? Headey, 41, told PEOPLE in a statement. ?I only hope that this announcement can help me to regain some of the privacy I have recently lost to prying photographers and ask that they please respect my privacy and let me enjoy this time.?

First, the Game of Thrones concerns: the new season begins in April, and I would assume she?s already filmed all of Cersei?s scenes for the upcoming season. And even if she hasn?t, I?m sure they could easily mask Lena?s pregnancy? unless they don?t need to? Does Cersei get pregnant again? No, wait. Don?t tell me. I want it to be a surprise!
As for the baby-daddy stuff? my theory is Pedro Pascal. I know we?re not supposed to invade her privacy, etc, and it?s not like any of us really NEED to know. But we theorize about gossip all the time. Pedro and Lena have been pap?d over the past months/year looking friendly and cozy together. And they?re all over each other?s Instagram too. But maybe they?re just friends. Maybe the baby-daddy is someone else. All I know is that I think Pedro Pascal is so sexy, most of us could get pregnant just by looking at him.

The season premiere ofGame of Thrones is almost here and to celebrate, Lena Headey did a spread for Esquire in her underwear. Oh and an interview. She seems to keep a down to earth attitude about her acting career.
“I’m sort of like a T. rex in the world of female actresses,” she says. (She’s thirty-nine, by the way.) “Every time a job is finished, I look at my car and think,Could I live in it?” Though most actors would likely love the break after shooting the third season of a successful show, Headey considers herself unemployed. When asked what she’ll do upon returning to Los Angeles, where she’s lived for six years, she says, “I’m going home to beg for work.”
The only thing I got from that is that she looks amazingly good for 39 and looks like the type of girl that might cut you during sex.
